text-align: center;"> </div> <div dir="rtl" style="text-align: right;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">כפי שכבר הארכתי בנושא בעבר, התופעה התרבותית העונה להגדרה "אמריקנה" מהלכת עליי קסמים.</span></div> <div dir="rtl" style="text-align: right;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">לא חושב שהייתי יכול לחיות את הסאברביה הזו לאורך זמן אבל ההצצה לתוכה היא אחת מהחלומות שלי. הייתי עד כה בניו יורק ובלוס אנג'לס, בהן הכל גדול ואמריקאי למכביר - אבל מה שאני באמת מחפש נמצא בשולי האינטרסטייט.<br />המוזר הוא שכל המשיכה הזו התפתחה אצלי רק בארבע השנים האחרונות, לאחר כמעט חיים שלמים בהם חייתי בתחושה די ברורה שכל ההוויה הזו לא מעניינת אותי, שלא נאמר מעט בזויה בעיניי.<br />אבל אז גיליתי לראשונה את The&nbsp;Americans&nbsp;של רוברט פרנק. פרנק, צלם שוויצרי צעיר, נשלח חמוש במצלמה ובמלגה מכובדת מטעם הגוגנהיים, לארוז איתו את משפחתו ולהסתובב במשך שנה ברחבי ארצות הברית של אמצע שנות החמישים, לתעד את האמריקה מנקודת מבטו. כמו הפילם, אמריקה של הימים ההם היתה עוד בפערי המעמדות בין השחור והלבן. במהלך השנה הזו, צולמו קרוב לעשרים ושמונה אלפי תמונות אשר מתוכן נבחרו שמונים ושלושה.</span></div> <table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto;
