Hello friends. Welcome back to another edition on SICK of that commercial. I have a few that are really crawling under my skin, along with my readers AND my family's skins!

I think it's safe to say we all have had Sunny D. If someone asked you to go to the store to please get them some Sunny D, you'd know exactly what to get. But for some reason Sunny D doesn't think you remember. As a matter of fact, it MAKES you remember. To the point where you have to change the channel before you hear the dreadful "song." The reason I quote is because I don't how singing the same phrase over and over again, just in different keys, makes it a song. If it does, I've lost all hope for humanity.

Martina McBride, I KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE THAT REGRET THAT COMMERCIAL! It has probably cost you a lot of fans, and just the sound of your voice makes people freak out as if it was a loud horn blown in your ear drum. For the love of humanity, we get it.. we know you want us to drink orange juice.

EVERYONE is SICK of that commercial!

Sorry I had to put you through that. Or am I? Hehehe.

This commercial has been worn out to the max. I used to just sit there in awe because someone was telling national TV such personal, nasty information. She has a new commercial out that I was unable to find, in which she announced her diabetes diagnoses like it was a wedding invitation.

Hi again! As you can tell, I am a procrastinator. I come up with good ideas for my blogs, but end up watching Youtube videos instead of updating. So I am just being honest with you all (lol). I hope you understand.

Anyway

After speaking with my friends via my Facebook page, and doing a little research, I've came up with some annoying commercials that are from across the world. Since a majority of my readers aren't from the states, I thought I could expand my annoying commercial experience for everyone! Enjoy! (or don't!)

A Trip Down Annoying Commercial Lane

Hello again my wonderful visitors. I've been neglecting my blogs for a while, and felt a bit guilty for it! In the past week or so, I've noticed a return in an arch enemy- Lollipop.

Verizon, please understand that so many of us are SICK of that commercial!

In other news, I've decided to find some good ol' annoying commercials from the past. I hope this brings up memories of laughing at these weird clips into yesteryear.

Ah yes, we all remember sitting on the couch with our families- watching a family show. When it goes to commercial, this commercial would come on leaving everyone in the room either laughing or feeling uncomfortable. This is a classic.

Uncomfortable Moments- Herbal Essences

The Pepsi Girl. If you lived in the late 90's, you know this commercial because you either loved and adored her, or she crawled onto your last nerve and nibbled what sanity you had. Either way, I thought I'd post this just for the memory.

This next commercial still gives us horrible images in our minds today. People openly discuss their uncomfortable and disgusting hiney problems. Some are talking about it on the phone to their mothers, others are moving around in their chairs as if they're hula dancing while sitting down. Preparation H, stop it. Just stop it.

Note: I laughed a bit because just as I was posting this commercial, there was a 2010 Preparation H commercial on my TV....ironic! x)

Okay, so the next commercial isn't too vintage but it has been around for quite a while. It was requested by a reader.

If this commercial doesn't bother you, you're weird. Sure, it's cool that they have a yogurt to help with digestion but come on... why did Jamie Lee Curtis even say yes to shooting the commercials? Is her constipation so bad that she has to announce it...over and over and over again?

I am SICK of this commercial! Plenty of other people find it funny, and many parodies have been made. SNL even did a skit. (sorry about the quality, if you can find a better link please let me know!)

Swiffer Stalker Mop

I do love my Swiffer mop, but my old mop isn't stalking me. It's in the closet just in case my Swiffer runs out of batteries or cleaner. It understands. I am SICK of this commercial, and all of the ones they keep making! The next commercial might as well be a woman getting a restraining order from her old mop. After that, Hollywood horror movie.

Crazy Infomercials Part I

If you have ever watched TV, you have seen an infomercials. These rank in the high range on my annoyance scale.

To simplify things, I'm putting these videos in order from Funny, to just plain creepy.

1. Hawaii Chair- You can get fit while you sit, or get a hernia.

I wouldn't so much call this one annoying, rather hilarious. Are these people serious? How many times did it take them to shoot that commercial?

Well to make things even funnier, I've added a clip of Ellen Degeneres showing off her Hawaii Chair. Must watch! After the video, watch Ellen's reviews on a lot of infomercial products.

2. Tiddy Bear- Cute bear to wear on your tiddy...I mean seat belt.

3. The Snuggie- The blanket with sleeves! The blanket with sleeves that has a lot of people making fun of it. The blanket with sleeves that now makes blankets with sleeves for dogs. The blanket with sleeves that needs to die.

The WTF Blanket (Snuggie Parody)... I think these people have it right on.

4. Nads (Old infomercial, made in '99.) I think this product is discontinued, thankfully. I remember though, my mom actually bought this stuff, and it did nothing but make a sticky mess. Tasted good though! (I remember the lady eating it, because its all natural! All natural BS! Here's a bearded lady telling her amazing Nad's story.

The Local Channel Wars

This entry is just a silly (and very true) story. Since this blog is based on commercials, I figured maybe this story would fit in. Anyway, I live in Terre Haute, Indiana, along with fifty-some thousand people. There are two local channels. They hate each other. I know it's normal for stations to compete to try to get more viewers, but this is different. It's ugly. It's a never ending commercial war about how one station is better than the other. Both channels air particular commercials that are so ridiculous, because the simple fact that is it obviously made to keep the feud going. The following situation happened a while back, but I always get a laugh about the whole thing. I hope you do too.

Here's the commercial that started it all: (Well the media attention)

So while WTWO was sticking it's tongue out at WTHI, the media began to catch on. That's when The Daily Show's Jon Stewart made a few comments that pissed WTWO off. Here's what he said:
