Lemme tell ya, that thing’s breath is so terrible, you’d be running too!

So yeah, slimes aside, this is the first actual animal-like creature to appear in the comic!
Turns out I have basically no idea how to draw animals asides from “they have fur and four legs, right??”, so I spent a lot of time doodling dogs and lizards and other animals and studying their bone/muscle structure before drawing this beast here! Hopefully all that effort will show in this and future pages~

Well, here we are. It’s been a while, but we told you guys we would be back. Of course, you probably didn’t believe that, and I hope you feel ashamed for that.

But yeah, it’s the end of the dark ages, and the beginning of a new age of greatness for Sidequest Story. Though the beginning of a new chapter might not seem like much by itself, I think that at least for Vicky and me it marks a pretty big step down the road of Sidequest’s journey. And let me tell you, if we can pull this off as intended, this comic is going places. Pretty nice places. Alright places, even.

In any case, there was a lot of preparation work to be done to get this end of hiatus going, so you better appreciate it. Time is running short and we’re already behind schedule, so I’ll let Vicky take over from here.

 Hey there, like what we did to the site? I’m hoping this will make the new chapter even more interesting!

But yes, as Dahamugo up there said, we’re finally back, and I’m so happy and super excited about the fact! Can’t wait to show you all more of the story we’ve created together, it’s gonna be really cool I promise!

As for more technical stuffs, the updates are gonna be regular weekly updates, every Sunday evening at around the same time as you got this update here, so look forward to the next page next week!
Also, there’s been a lotta cool people doing really cool fanart for us even while we were in the hiatus and we are so grateful for that, so we’re gonna put up those pictures at the Extras page in the upcoming days, so feel free to drop by occasionally to see if anything new was added!
