Good morning everyone! I know, I know, what a wedding post less than a week after the wedding? Yes, I have been counseled on my timelyness of my blog posts so here i am, makeing sure that you all have some fresh images that Lee and I created this past weekend. Although we did have two weddings this past weekend, I can at least say that I got one of them completed and you can see the pictures. Can’t promise anything about Saturdays wedding.. Venue was the always beautiful Forest House Lodge in Foresthill. Wonderful venue, wonderful food and an awesome party! Have a great day!

To be selected from thousands of designs and photographers across the country is a big deal even for a little ol photographer from Roseville, California.

I have been looking forward to this day for a long time. These two have chosen the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg to get married next year but I have not had the chance to work there in the daylight and this was my first opportunity. I was more than pleased with the results and now I can’t wait for the wedding! These guys are very special and alot of fun!

Hello Folks! Have you ever heard of HDR photography? It stands for High Dynamic Range photography. Basically, it is like taking 3 or more images of the same scene at three different exposures, one normal, one dark and one real bright. Then using some special software and some creative tweaking, We get images that have the range of tones never seen before in conventional photographs. I got to tell ya, I am hooked! I definitely have some learning to do but I think I am on the right path. Yesterday, Lee, Maggie and I ventured out to the Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley and took advantage of the beautiful day to experiment a bit. Well, what do you think?

We recently received some exciting news that our baby Maggie, (the four legged kind) was selected to represent the latest issue of Style Magazine for the cover model! What a proud moment it was for Lee and I as one of the images that I took of her actually made the publication! Trust me, we have several issues going out to all of our reletives across the country and even as far as Rio de janeiro Brazil! Is she not the cutest baby or what?

Hello once again, here is a post form a recent wedding where the couple could not have been more fun to work with. Tip for all of you brides who want to remember your day in the most enjoyable manner possible. Take advantage of EVERYTHING! These two did! They laughed and laughed untill their sides hurt. Lee and I had so much fun, we were sad that they night had to end. Now that’s how you do it, a huh.
