Bury based notice board manufacturer Signconex Ltd has merged with Signscape Systems Ltd. as part of an exciting new venture for the sign and visual communications market.

Following discussions earlier in the year, it soon became clear that both companies shared many similarities when it came to our approach to manufacturing and business. Both of us come from long established backgrounds in the sign and visual communications industry.

We’re all really excited about this opportunity, as we feel it will be better able to serve both sets of our customers. The other plan is to launch some new products, whilst also continually improving our existing ones.

If anyone wants to know more, please contact me, or alternatively have a look at the Signconex website.

Sign & Digital UK is now over and it already seems like a life time ago. We all really enjoyed the show and it was great to see so many faces. Becci, Sue and I managed the stand all week. Thanks for everyone that popped onto the stand to say hello – hope you liked the Jelly Babies! (they certainly disappeared fast).

Delighted so many people liked the Solar Products and the new Digital Signs (in conjunction with Symon Dacon – it would certainly appear that lots of projects want more than static signs.

If anyone would like demonstrations, or for me to pop in to explain, just let me know. In the meantime, look out for our latest newsletter.

The project was for a private school in the Midlands, with a need to empathise with some of the very old buildings and new contemporary ones. It was a great project to work on, despite the very exacting standards from the customer. The work required Main signs which were Infocurve, smaller signs that would be seen on foot, using Infocurve Lite, together with folded trays – all manufactured and powder coated at our premises in Bristol.

The MD of Best Wayfinding is an expert in mapping (in 2D & 3D), should you need any help on this, please contact Michael Best directly @ sales@bestwayfinding.co.uk

Looking forward to going to Sign UK this year – who’s going?

We’re hoping to go – its such a busy time of year for lots of people, being the end of the Financial Year for so many, but it is always worth the effort. Signscape haven’t exhibited for a couple of years and am really looking forward to being up there this year. Jeremy and I are working on the content for the stand, but if anyone wants to anything specific from our Product Range let me know. Once we have the stand drawn up I may post the stand design on the site to get some feedback.

It will be great to see lots of our friends and customers, especially as I don’t appear to be getting out of the office as much recently. I also hope their is plenty for everyone to see – I always come away with a few more ideas – mainly from our customers. We will be definitely showing our new Solar Powered range, together with some of our traditional products, together with a few surprises – so looking forward to seeing you in April at the NEC.
