Mõni nädal tagasi tegin sinna &lt;a href="http://twitter.com/siimlepisk"&gt;endale ka konto&lt;/a&gt;. Viimaseks kinnituseks Twitteri olulisuse kohta oli tänane &lt;a href="http://www.epl.ee/artikkel/464283"&gt;Eesti Päevalehe artikkel, et Apple avab oma Appstore'i ka Eestis&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Artikliks pärinev info sai vihje Sten Tamkivi Twitter'ist!&lt;/span&gt; &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Seega on asjal täitsa point sees. Ning meedia, sel kujul kui me seda paar aastat tagasi tundsime, on selgelt muutunud. Ja liigub teadmata, ent kasutajate mõju all olevas suunas. Kumb teie meelest peaks olema 1. koha vääriline?&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Tsiteerin ka ühte disainerit: &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;Kuna ID-kaardi sihtgrupiks on kohustuslikus korras kõik Eesti kodanakondsed, siis kõigile meeldivat kasutajaliidest disainida on raske. Tavaline tulemus sellise sihtgruppide liiasuses korral on see, et võidab lahendus, mis mitte ei saa kõige rohkem poolthääli vaid saab kõige vähem vastuhääli (nii võitjat valides kui ka hiljem, kasutajate seas), mis kokkuvõtteks ei pruugi kellelegi päriselt meeldida aga sel juhul ju kaotaks uue GUI konkurss üldse igasuguse mõtte ära. Aja möödudes suunab aga enamik neist oma põhienergia müügile (näiteks SAP) või turundusele (Yahoo!). Selline fookus ei tee aga neid edukaks. Google'i (kel on täna 2500 töötajat üle maailma) üks edu valemeid on see, et &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "&gt;nad on jätkuvalt tehnoloogiapõhised&lt;/span&gt;. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Näiteks on Google'is igal töötajal reedene päev vaba oma isiklike "pet project"-ide arendamiseks. Sellistest projektidest muuhulgas on välja kasvanud näiteks Gmail ja Orkut... Sarnast põhimõtet viljeleb ka näiteks &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3M"&gt;3M&lt;/a&gt; (ja tõenäoliselt ka &lt;a href="http://www.metacafe.com/watch/846222/the_new_2008_bmw_m3/"&gt;M3&lt;/a&gt;;). Ka &lt;a href="http://www.helmes.ee/"&gt;Helmeses&lt;/a&gt; rakendame analoogseid põhimõtteid - igaüks on kursis oma arenguplaanidega ning tiimijuhid mõõdavad töötajate enesearendusele kuluvat aega igakuiselt.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Igatahes - kindlasti on oluline ka müük ja turundus, ent ei tohi unustada ka seda, mis innustab ettevõtte "põhiajusid" ehk tehnolooge. Aga tema nõude sisu kohta puudus teatises mistahes info. "MILLE EEST??", mõtlesin valjult ja väga vihaselt. On ju julm mõte põhjustada inimesele terveks nädalaks teadmatusest tulenevat stressi! Ent kuivõrd pühade ajal oli postkontor niikuinii suletud, ei lasnud end sellest rohkem heidutada. Tema oma viga, et sellisel ajal kutse saatis, mõtlesin rahustuseks :). Mina enda teada kellelegi võlgu ei olnud!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Kuivõrd ma selle postkontori lähedal igapäevaselt ei pesitse, helistasin uuel aastal postkontorisse ja uurisin edasiste võimaluste kohta. Keegi teine vastu võtta ei saanud. Teisele aadressile ka edastada ei soovitud edastada. Vähemalt andis postitädilt telefonis saatja kontakttelefoni. Helistades saadud numbril mitu korda tööajal erinevatel päevadel ei võtnud aga keegi toru ning jõudsin teema juba unustada.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Eesti.ee portaal&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Siis ühel heal päeval hakkasin proovima &lt;a href="http://www.eesti.ee/"&gt;eesti.ee&lt;/a&gt; portaali e-teenuseid, kus leidsin intrigeeriva lingi "Minu vastu algatatud täitevmenetlused".  Alati oli mulle müstikaks jäänud, mis selle lingi alt peale tühjuse võiks avaneda. Aga ennäe imet - leidsingi, et 3 kuud tagasi (!!) oli millegi eest  jäänud tasumata Tallinna Linnakantseleile. Õnneks ei olnud summa midagi eksootilist.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://siim.lepisk.com/uploaded_images/Eesti-ee-screenshot-726314.png"&gt;&lt;img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 152px;" src="http://siim.lepisk.com/uploaded_images/Eesti-ee-screenshot-726309.png" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Inimlik kokkulepe&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Rahulikuma südamega, teades vähemalt võlguoldavat summat ning et potentsiaalselt on tegu parkimistrahviga, helistasin uuesti täiturile ja sain ta lõpuks kätte. Jõudsin mõistlikult suhtleva täituri Anne Böckler'iga kerge vaevaga kokkuleppele, et kuigi ta telefoni teel toimiku materjali avaldada ei saa, saadab ta&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; toimiku sisu mulle e-mailiga&lt;/span&gt;. Imede ime, 20min pärast leidsingi oma e-postkastist enda allkirjaga muu materjali hulgas ka kiirmenetluse otsuse (parkimistrahvi) koopia, mille teisaldatud auto kättesaamisel sain. Nojah, valvega parklast autot ära tuues, pärast hoiustamise eest Ühisteenustele maksmist, anti mulle ju kaasa ka teine paber, mille alusel pidanuks kodus täiendava ülekande tegema. Enda meelest olin seda ka teinud, ent pangaväljavõte seda ei näidanud. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Loomulikult maksin võla veel samal päeval ära, koos paarisajakroonise lisa-koolirahaga. Aga see kulu on tühine võrreldes rõõmuga, millist vastutulelikku klienditeenindust Eesti Posti ja Justiitsministeeriumi ametnikud suudavad pakkuda pimedal ajal ja pimedas majanduskliimas. Respekt! Eesti riigis on veel hoolivust ja mõistvust küllaga :)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;PS: Veel Justiitsministeeriumile: mõistlik oleks ju &lt;a href="http://www.e-toimik.ee/aet/welcome.seam"&gt;e-Toimiku teenust&lt;/a&gt; arendada nii kaugele, et:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;kodanik saab automaatsed meeldetuletused e-postile,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.eesti.ee/"&gt;Kodanikuportaali&lt;/a&gt; mobiil-ID'ga sisse logida ja tutvuda toimiku sisuga veebi kaudu,&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;seejärel vaidlustuse üles seada või trahvi kohe internetipangas ära maksta!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6881975897791327901-8992936490586856113?l=siim.lepisk.com'/&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

Võrreldes 2007. aasta 30. septembriga &lt;a href="http://www.tta.ee/index.php?id=11&amp;amp;uudis_id=317"&gt;kasvas töötute arv 54,8%&lt;/a&gt;! Iga edukas ettevõte mõtleb optimeerimisele - sh. ka tööjõukulude vähendamisele. Näiteks Swedbank, üks kõrgemini makstud spetsialistidega ettevõte &lt;a href="http://www.ap3.ee/Default2.aspx?ref=lastcomm&amp;amp;ArticleID=7f68290c-8b23-46d1-a821-80ea63961bb0&amp;amp;readcomment=1"&gt;koondas&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ap3.ee/Default2.aspx?ref=lastcomm&amp;amp;ArticleID=7f68290c-8b23-46d1-a821-80ea63961bb0&amp;amp;readcomment=1"&gt; ~10% oma IT töötajatest&lt;/a&gt;. Viimase 6 kuu jooksul on töötajate turust saanud tööandjate turg. Kui veel aasta alguses said helge peaga spetsialistid dikteerida oma palgasoove ise, siis nüüd teevad tööandjad pakkumisi, mis on kuni 2x madalamad aastatagusest ajast. Tean näited elust enesest, kus heal palgal olnud inimesed on koondatud ning täna pakutakse neile sisuliselt 2x madalamat palka. Võta või jäta. Ei ole alust arvata, et sama tendents peaks lähikuudel peatuma. Seega olenevalt finantsseisust võib olla mõttekam ka võtta. Väidetavalt on &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Generation V&lt;/span&gt; (Virtuaalne Generatsioon) eripäraks see, et &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;edukad on need ettevõtted, kes pakuvad või ühendavad ennast sotsiaalsete e-võrgustikega&lt;/span&gt;, eesmärgiga olla oma klientide jaoks köitvam ja eelistatum. Samuti aitavad sotsiaalsed rakendused (nt Facebook, LinkedIn, Orkut...) koguda lihtsalt infot oma klientide tänaste ja tulevikuvajaduste kohta ning suunata neid tarbima oma tooteid ja teenuseid.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Seega 3 lihtsat küsimust:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Mil moel juba täna Sinu ettevõte kasutab ära e-võrgustikke? &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Oskad Sa kujutada ette potentsiaali, mida e-kogukonnad pakuvad?&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Mida saaksid täna &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;social &lt;/span&gt;teenuste valdkonnas teha selleks, et edestada oma konkurente?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Muidugi oleneb keskkonna valik sellest, millised on sihtturud. Seekord inspireeris mind mõtted paberile panema &lt;a href="http://www.dt.ee/blog/ari/2008/09/kaheksa-pohjust-miks-it-juhid-arendajaid-saamatuteks-peavad/#comment-6928" target="_blank"&gt;blogipostitus, mis kirjeldab klientide pettumusi arendajate suhtes&lt;/a&gt;. Uurides aga efektiivseid arendajaid, selgub, et nende mõtteviisis on teatud sarnasused, mis viivad alati edule:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ole vastutusvõimeline ja proaktiivne - võlusõna kahtluste kummutamiseks ja riskide maandamiseks on &lt;em&gt;suhtlemine&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Mõista teise huvisid - enne töö alustamist tee selgeks ülesande tegelik eesmärk ning selle mõistlik eeldatav ajakulu/investeering&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lahendusele eelneb vajadus - enne lahenduse väljapakkumist veendu, et mõistad ülesande olemust ja vajalikkust maksimaalselt. Keegi ei ole ideaalne tellija - ilma küsimata ei pruugi tellija osata ka oma soovi avaldada või vastust välja öelda.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Otsi sünergiaid, loo ja kasuta taaskasutatavaid komponente &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lahenda esmalt ärikriitiline funktsionaalsus - loo prototüüp minimaalse funktsionaalsusega. Alati saab asju keerukamaks teha, ent see omakorda ohustab keskendumist olulisimale. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Hoia suurt pilti silme ees kogu arenduse vältel. Ole pidevalt kursis, kui kaugel reaalselt asud - palju tehtud, palju veel teha. Jõudes lauluväljakule kella 1.30 paiku öösel, on ka parkimiskohti võimalik leida. Väljak on täis tuhandeid tuhandeid inimesi. Hinges ülimat ühtsust tundev publik karjub "Eesti-Eesti" ja kohalik Bolero "Koit" algab. Lipud lehvivad ja publik võngub käsikäes, lauldes kaasa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;object height="350" width="425"&gt; &lt;param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BkLR-9FNm5Q"&gt;&lt;embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BkLR-9FNm5Q" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="350" width="425"&gt;&lt;/embed&gt;  &lt;/object&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ka lõpp oli hästi läbimõeldud -  kui Gruusia lauljad rahval kl 2.30 paiku öösel peotuju maha tõmbasid, hakkas publik massidena ära voorima hakkas. Ja ei hoolinud väga palju enam  Eesti üritusele kaasatoodud Gruusia lippude lehvitamisest..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Väidetavalt oli ürituse eelarve vaid 4 MEEK. Paberite järgi 8,1 sek 0-100 km/h. Linnas gaasipedaali põhja vajutades juhtub kergesti nii, et salongis lebavad  kergemad asjad nagu telefonid ja CD plaadid vahetavad kiiresti oma asukohta salongis. Lõbus! Samas maanteel jätab kiirendus soovida - ei ole võrreldav näiteks teiste 2,5+ liitriste turbomootoritega Volvode või Saabidega. Seega isiklikult, maanteekiirenduse nauding pole piisav, et autot omandada. Küll aga on mõnusalt ergas linnas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Dünaamika&lt;/span&gt;. Hämmastavalt hea kombinatsioon sportlikkusest ja samas "maastikuomadustelt" - nii Tallinna tänavatel, kruusateedel kui koledaid raudteerööpaid ületades käitub masin ühtlaselt dzhiibilikult. Samas kurvides on sportlik nagu tavaline 5-seeria BMW oma parimas headuses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Kütusekulu&lt;/span&gt;. Maanteel ~5-6 l /100km, linnas ~7-8 l /100km. Seega tõepoolest säästlik. PS: Pärast ~10km maanteesõitu mõnuga pidurit vajutades langeb keskmine kütusekulu kiiresti 0,1 - 0,2 liitri võrra. Millise kliendi (kelle) jaoks  oma äri tehakse?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On olnud märgata suundumust, et mida selgem on ettevõtte fookus (nii klientide mõttes kui tegevuse osas), seda edukam on ettevõte ja seda õnnelikumad on tema töötajad. Töötajate rahulolu on ju ilmselgelt üheks ettevõtete edu aluseks. Ja töötajad on seda lihtsamini rahul ja innustunud töötama, mida selgemalt nad teavad, kelle jaoks ja miks täpselt nad oma tööd teevad. Below are some of the ideas that I translated &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;freeformly from Estonian to English&lt;/span&gt; to share them internationally:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Regio focuses on improving the quality of their &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;products&lt;/span&gt;. In case of the market demand should go up, the company has to be ready to deliver fast enough. That requires employees to &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;work smarter&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I adore the leader's focus on internal efficiency. The article also leaves an impression that people in Regio are well motivated and ready to work for long hours, ready to face new challenges and puzzles, which no-one has ever solved before. How about getting to know in a job interview whether the applicant is &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;ready to take completely new challenges and full responsibility for solving them &lt;/span&gt;no matter if it takes long working hours or short? And whether new employee is ready to exceed himself daily (and hopefully get appropriate reward for that as well)?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Teet points out that one of his greatest management challenges currently is to manage change and keep people motivated in "crisis" situations. The most challenging are the moments &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;when people are not too sure whether "old" people can develop and implement innovative concepts&lt;/span&gt;. But what are&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; your&lt;/span&gt; greatest current management challenges?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In interview there is no clear reference on using their competitive advantages (I wonder what exactly are their advantages) as business advantage, yet it's a good sign if leader mentions that they are planning to do that.
