Triumph Street Triple 675 - Fierce joy of motorcycling.

Well Well Well… Coming straight to the Point, the Plan to Test ride British bike specialist Triumph Motorcycle came to success and it has to be its bestselling bike Street Triple 675 and here it is what it feels like.

The Street Triple seemed a Stylish Bike to me but is controversial for its looks and is also said to be priced on a higher side as compared to its Rivals. (Kawasaki Z800)

So why put Money on the Street Triple. Well you certainly will, for it has loads to offer apart from its Numbers.

The Street Triple is powered by a 675 cc Inline three cylinder, fuel-injected and liquid-cooled engine that bubbles 79.3 ps @ 11000 RPM and 57 NM of Toque at 8300 RPM Mated to a Six Speed Gearbox and is Offered in 3 color options Phantom Black, Crystal White and The Diablo Red. Well, Red has never been my choice but this one certainly convinced me Red handed. Lol Jokes Apart.

The bike is certainly detuned but has Awesome grunt and you just can’t get enough of it… you want it more. 'Needy baby, Greedy Baby'.. and the street Triple doesn’t disappoint you in this very aspect.

With the amount of Power this machine is loaded with, it still is flick able in traffic conditions and making U turns

The power band is broad and easy to master making the street triple a relaxed bike to ride and doesn’t feels stressed even in traffic conditions making it a real good companion for Touring as well as commuting for it has Minimal Vibrations even at higher revs.

Clutch Feel is Nimble and Progressive for a big bike like this, having smooth gearshift pattern of 1 down 5 up and is a delight to control and keep up with the moving traffic on Indian roads.

The bike is light in weight as compared to Race Focused Daytona, and as rightly said a lighter is a better performing Bike, this is felt once you ride this Mean machine on the tarmac.

Epitomises the spirit of Triumph. Agile, fun, punchy and great to look at

After riding it for Long stretch on Western Express Highway, The bike feels totally derived from the track, customized really well for street riding. Handling feels sharper and intuitive. Ergonomics gets good points here and is perfect for the Road and also for touring. The seats feel Comfortable and in no time you can easily take control over this big Bike.

Well Power is of No use until you have Control over it and Triumph Street Triple doesn’t lets you down in this very aspect. Street Triple has Excellent Brakes, offering the Perfect bite and feel along with Flawless Race ABS, along with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres, making the Street triple a Planted and Under Control machine under fast or tight riding conditions.

Street triple does not feels front wheel happy bike, for it is feels little heavy on the front for a Naked Bike lover because of the revised geometry.

It certainly is a very Fantastic bike and allows you to have Fun the way you want to and is a machine that can turn the dullest regular Commute into Pleasure trip.

Triumph Street triple felt not overwhelmed but Simpler machine to me, allowing you to have joy of Riding the way you want to - Well that is what we bikers look out for to start with a Big Bike.

The bike is Priced at 9.62 lakhs On Road Mumbai Registration, has no waiting period, you just have to wait for the registration process i.e. 7 to 8 days. And you are all ready to rock and Roll with this beast.

Mahindra Mojo - Magic Charm by BBRC

It’s called the Mojo which means

“Magic Charm”

Let us check out what magic the Mojo Charms us with.

Mahindra Mojo took 5 years to go from showcase to production ready and Mahindra guys have done a pretty good job testing it and wanted to be sure of a quality product for Riders like us.

The 300cc Mahindra Mojo houses top-notch hardware, Mahindra has equipped the Mojo with a ton of features which makes it a very interesting bike for value conscious buyers.

Mojo houses a Twin pod headlight setup along with Day Time Running Lights looking like Eyebrows and are neatly integrated and provides ample amount of Bright light even for Night rides. Gets a Conventional Side indicators along with the Upside Down Golden Furbished Forks adds a Charm to the overall look of the bike.

MOJO looks best in its side stance giving a premium look.

The Fuel Tank visually aint bulky but gulps in 21 litres of Fuel along with the Sharp Looking MOJO Logo.. yes you read it right… 21 liters is quiet good enough for tourers like us.

The Logo isn’t visible much when on the saddle but is a looker for those looking for Photo-shoot with this Beast alongside nature’s beauty.

The bike at first glance looks a little small but the moment you make this bike stand in front of other bikes only then you know the bike is Huge, Bulky and heighted as well.

There are air Shrouds below the engine which are made of metal which protects the engine from a crash or fall and acts as a wind deflector as well.

The bike looks sporty and has Aluminium side panels and gets a silver brushed finish.

The rear gets a smartly fitted Tail light along with integrated grab rails and the read mudguard holds the Number plate and Turn Indicators.

Adding further to the Style Quotient, Mojo comes with exposed golden twin tube frame which gives contrast with black colour. The bike boast Funky looking alloy comes with a Dual exhaust system. It’s a 1 into 2 exhaust system and adds a charm to its Looks.

And not to forget the Amazing paint Job having strong build quality with attention to detail finish. The wiring gets heat wraps and steel braided brake liners both at front and rear.

Instrument and Swithgear – The Rider’s View

The Instrument cluster is bright and flashy with combination of blue and red backlight. The Console boast of Analogue RPM meter in the centre and digital display unit.

There are tell lights located on the left corner having Neutral light, turn indicator, Malfunction indicator and the Engine temperature light sits below. (Mojo boasts a premium feature with regards to the engine temperature, will come to that part later.) On the top right, there is an indicator which lights up when the revv limiter kicks in at 8.5k RPM.

Switch on the ignition and the tachometer needle sweeps full, lighting along with all other lights. The Mojo has red LED guided RPM indicator that stays lit up for couple of seconds at the RPM figure once the rider changes the gear which helps determine if the gear shift was done at the proper time or not ( First in Segment)

The digital display unit is divided into two parts. The standard one displays Speedometer, trip meter, Odometer and Fuel level indicator along with the time. It also has a Top speed clocker which keeps record of the top speed you have reached so far. Press the two lower buttons together for one second, it activates the race mode, which give access to 0-100 kmph timer and 500 meter timer. Well these features are very useful for Weekend fun on this beast.

The plastics and switchgears and long lasting feel and finish along with backlit switches providing a rich appearance at night.

Comfort - Aaram – Ergonomics

The Mojo gains added attributes here having perfect riding posture and riders of all sizes will find it pretty comfy. The upright seating posture, raised handle bars (Which do feel bit heavy, but gets easy as it gets going) and the centre set foot pegs are extremely comfortable and anyone can adapt to it easily.

As mentioned, Tall riders will appreciate its stance because of its height at 814mm along with a comfy and cushiony seat having enough space for the thighs. Thanks to the carved out fuel tank sides. J

The upright position is very comfortable even for long rides of 500kms +

The downside is the small pillion seat and is best suited for Small rides. The bike doesn’t has Double stand option and comes with an oddly placed side stand below the left side exhaust which takes time to get used to.

Performance – Power – Taakat

Well after the wait for almost 5 years, Mahindra guys had tuned the 300cc Mojo Engine really well. The Liquid cooled 295 cc Single cylinder 4 stroke fuel injected engine Churns out 27 BHP of power and 30 Nm of torque, it's matched to a 6-speed gearbox and does the 0-100 km/hr. sprint in under 10 seconds.

The Bike is Vibe free, refined and smooth with torque being on a higher side at 30NM @ 5500 RPM comes as a great touring bike and can do speeds of 100 – 120 kmph all day long.

Even though a Tourer, the bike has healthy capability to do 0 – 100 kmph in under 10 seconds and top speed of 165kmph. Well you do need to duck down completely after speeds of 130+ to attain the top speed when riding on big long stretch.

Heating is not an issue on the bike and even if the temperature rise, you don’t feel the heat on the Legs likewise the KTM’s.

The Mojo comes loaded with limp home mode where in if the temperature rises above 110 degrees or due to mechanical fault the bike wont rev above 5k RPM which doesn’t allow the engine to shut down due to overheating. (Fist in the Segment) So no overheating problems with the Mojo.

The engine is very Cool and vibe free

The mojo aint like the CBR and neither like the Thunderbird and nor as aggressive like the KTM’s, a Segment in itself for this character I would say. Mojo is for the ones looking for laid back comfort having good power in hands.

The engine idles at 1500RPM and the revs come up quickly and the the digital meter climbs up speed really fast as you revv till 9k RPM.

The real fun kicks in after 5500 RPM and it enjoys revving till 7500 RPM providing this machine a powerful mid range which every tourer will fall for it.. The gearbox is Slick and responds with a crisp.

Ride the mojo at speeds as low as 45 kmph at 6^th gear and the bike doesn’t get tired of it.. so riding in city in higher gears aint an issue for the MOJO. On a tank full the mojo lasted for around 600kms.

The twin exhaust has a good sound and has a Decibel Killer option as well for the ones looking for much more bassy grunt.

Mileage - Kitna Deti hai ?

MOJO happily returns a mileage of 30 – 35kmpl even though riding it hard on the highways and in city traffic as well.

Mojo Highly impressed me with its high speed stability and gives you immense confidence to tour all day long at 3 digit speeds. The Pirelli Rosso II tyres provide ample amount of confidence while cornering hard but does require skill for doing a knee down.

The Front updside down Suspension and off set pre load mono shock at the rear absorbs Potholes and handles off roads pretty well. We took the Mojo for off roading at 45 degree inclines of muddy and roads with gravel. The MOJO handled them very well and didn’t felt tiring.

You need to get used to it for flicking and requires some effort to do a quick zip zap zoom in traffic conditions. The 165 kg weight is on a higher side and makes it hard to U turn especially when standstill.

Mojo comes with disc brake setup tuned and sourced by J Juan of Spain at the front and rear. Mojo has the largest front brake with 320 mm petal disc brake with radical caliper and 4 pistons while the rear boast 240 mm petal disc with floating caliper and two pistons.

The front brake lacks initial bite and the rear has opposite nature. I think Mahindra guys have done this progression braking setup for the new riders upgrading to this powerful machine.

The bike picks up speed pretty fast and also sheds speed impressively fast.

Mahindra has taken the thing “Power is of no use until you have control over it” seriously and used it pretty well.

The Brakes are progressive and give enough stopping power and confidence but don’t have that quick bite.

ABS is in the pipeline and will be added in the near future.

Safety – Bachaav – After Sales & Service

The Mojo is boasted with loads of electronic sensors which keeps track of various things. One being the Limp Home mode (Already Mentioned) which prevents the engine to come to a complete halt.

RPM limit indicator and Roll over sensor which turns off the engine if the bike is tilted beyond 45 degrees.

The clutch needs to be depressed even when in neutral to bring the engine to roar.

The launch model doesn’t has ABS but will be introduced in the future as Mahindra guys confirmed they are testing the ABS model.

Mahindra is providing with a 5 year Warranty for the MOJO along with 2 years free Road side assistance. A special 24 X 7 call center has been established for any emergency situations.

The dealership will have a dedicated relationship Manager only for Mojo for customers to interact with. For the first 100 booking and delivery Mahindra is planning a full sponsored 2 – 3 days Ride for all the New Mahindra Mojo riders and providing them with a Free Riding jacket (DSG genesis textile jacket)

Verdict – Final Words – Moral – Mudda

The world argued that when will Mahindra launch MOJO god knows but Mahindra did a pretty good job and gave an answer to all the ones who rumoured about it and turned out to be much better bike and many ways.

At the Price point of 1.89 lakhs on road Mumbai, may not be the best thing but makes a point of what Mahindra is capable of.

Hope to see much more such piece of quality beasts and machines on Indian roads. The success of the MOJO depends solely on the way the riders take it in the initial stage.

Mojo has an introductory price till Diwali period and is expected to rise post that.

So unleash your Mojo soon and have a magical charm this Diwali. J

The real Story of the Recent Rape case we all are aware about.

The bus driver ram singh went out with his 6 friends ( 2 rkp sabzee wale + all bihari ) the girl and the guy was called by the driver and were given proper tickets ( the bus was a school bus with black curtains .. Not permitted for transport use ) the girl was 23 a very good student and wanted to reach dwarka mor.
After they got in , the guys hit a rod on the guys's head and threw him out , then raped the girl one by one which was moving continuously in the posh areas of delhi and ncr.
After raping her badly , one of them inserted a very long rod in her vagina which almost killed her and threw her out and ran away.

She was lying in the middle of the road hurt and nude.. Not even single person helped her or covered her for an hour.When police came in no one helped them pick her up. They were just not interested at all.
Sharam aati hai tumhe Insaan kehte hue!!
The girl's vagina + small and large intestine is totally damaged and she cannot live a married or normal life. Doctor said " main bayan nahi kar sakta ki ussne kya kya zheela hai ... Bolte hue muzhe dard hota hai ". She has gone in Coma 5 times from 16th dec. She is unconscious , critical and is non stop crying. The ribs are damaged as well.

That's the whole story
And that's what delhi people are.
And her only fault was that she took a wrong bus!

I'm not ashamed to broadcast such a message to make people aware that what's going on in our capital!! 'So called capital'. i dont care.. if my blog is Blocked or whatever..

A hidden Secret about Nathuram Godse

Godse is often a misunderstood character. He is referred to as a Hindu fanatic. It is often hard to understand Godse because the Government of India had suppressed information about him. His court statements, letters etc. were all banned from the public until recently. Judging from his writings one thing becomes very clear – He was no fanatic. Many women had their hands cut off, nose cut off, even little girls had been raped mercilessly. Despite this Godse did not harm even single Muslim in India which he could easily have. So it would be a grave mistake to call him a Hindu fanatic.

Let us start by studying the motive behind Godse's act. By seeing the nature of the assassination in public space and Godse's act of turning himself over to the Police, we can see that Godse did not do this for personal reasons. He very well knew that he would be hanged and his name would be disgraced as Gandhi was considered a saint. And again Godse could have ran away and escaped punishment. But he did the reverse. He called a police officer and courted arrest. Before we proceed it would be wise to understand the backdrop of the assassination.

The central government had taken a decision — Pakistan will not be given Rs 55 crores. On January 13 Gandhi started a fast unto death that Pakistan must be given the money. On January 13, the central government changed its earlier decision and announced that Pakistan would be given the amount. On January 13, Nathuram decided to assassinate Gandhi.

Nathuram Godse was a learned man, very sharp and intelligent – editor of "Agrani" (one of the most famous newspaper of that time – with Nana Aapte). In his last editorial of "Agrani" which he changed overnight – he said "Gandhi must be stopped – at any cost" and he justified why Gandhiji's assassination was not only inevitable but also a delayed action, sth tht shud've happened LONG AGO.

In Nathuram's words - " I don't refute Gandhi's theory of non-violence. He may be a saint but he is not a politician. His theory of non-violence denies self-defence and self-interest. The non-violence that defines the fight for survival as violence is a theory not of non-violence but of self-destruction.The division of the nation was an unnecessary decision. What was the percentage of the Muslim population as compared to the population of the nation? There was no need for a separate nation. Had it been a just demand, Maulana Azad would not have stayed back in India. But because Jinnah insisted and because Gandhi took his side, India was divided, in spite of opposition from the nation, the Cabinet. An individual is never greater than a nation.

In a democracy you cannot put forward your demands at knife-point. Jinnah did it and Gandhi stabbed the nation with the same knife. He dissected the land and gave a piece to Pakistan. We did picket that time but in vain. The Father of our Nation went to perform his paternal duties for Pakistan! Gandhi blackmailed the cabinet with his fast unto death. His body, his threats to die are causing the destruction — geographical as well as economical — of the nation. Today, Muslims have taken a part of the nation, tomorrow Sikhs may ask for Punjab. The religions are again dividend into castes, they will demand sub-divisions of the divisions. What remains of the concept of one nation, national integration? Why did we fight the British in unison for independence? Why not separately? Bhagat Singh did not ask only for an independent Punjab or Subhash Chandra Bose for an independent Bengal?

I am going to assassinate him in the open, before the public, because I am going to do it as my duty. If I do it surreptitiously, it becomes a crime in my own eyes. I will not try to escape, I will surrender and naturally I will be hanged. One assassination, one hanging. I don't want two executions for one assassination and I don't want your involvement, participation or company. (This was for Nana-Apte and Veer Savarkar as they were against ghandhi's policies too, Godse wanted to assassinate gandhi all by himself and took promise from Nana Apte that he will continue helping Veer Savarkar in rebuilding India as a strong free nation.)

On January 30, I reached Birla Bhavan at 12 pm. Gandhi was sitting outside on a cot enjoying the sunshine. Vallabhbhai Patel's granddaughter was sitting at his feet. I had the revolver with me. I could have assassinated him easily then, but I was convinced that his assassination was to be a punishment and a sentence against him, and I would execute him. I wanted witnesses for the execution but there were none. I did not want to escape after the execution as there was not an iota of guilt in my mind. I wanted to surrender, but surrender to whom? There was a good crowd to collect for the evening prayers. I decided on the evening of January 30 as the date for Gandhi's execution.

Gandhi climbed the steps and came forward. He had kept his hands on the shoulders of the two girls. I wanted just three seconds more. I moved two steps forward and faced Gandhi. Now I wanted to take out the revolver and salute him for whatever sacrifice and service he had made for the nation. One of the two girls was dangerously close to Gandhi and I was afraid that she might be injured in the course of firing. As a precautionary measure I went one more step ahead, bowed before him and gently pushed the girl away from the firing line. The next moment I fired at Gandhi. Gandhi was very weak, there was a feeble sound like 'aah' (There are proof that Gandhi did NOT say "Hey Raam" at that time – it's just made up stuff ) from him and he fell down.

After the firing I raised my hand holding the revolver and shouted, 'Police, police'. For 30 seconds nobody came forward and I scanned the crowd. I saw a police officer. I signalled to him to come forward and arrest me. He came and caught my wrist, then a second man came and touched the revolver… I let it go…"

Let me tell you about the following incident which I wish to share with you.

During the last vacation, a few friends came to Delhi . They rented a taxi for local sight-seeing. The driver was an old Sardar and boys being boys, these pals began cracking Sardarji jokes, just to tease the old man. But to their surprise, the fellow remained unperturbed..

At the end of the sight-seeing, they paid the cab hire charges. The Sardar returned the change, but he gave each one of them one rupee extra and said,''Sons, since morning you have been telling Sardarji jokes. I listened to them all and let me tell you, some of them were in bad taste. Still, I don't mind coz I know that you are young blood and are yet to see the world. But I have one request. I am giving you one rupee each. Give it to the first Sardar beggar that you come across in this or any other city !!!"

My friend continued, "That one rupee coin is still with me. I couldn't find a single Sardar begging anywhere."

MORAL:
The secret behind their universal success is their willingness to do any job with utmost dedication and pride. A Sardar will drive a truck or set up a roadside garage or a dhaba, run a fruit juice stall, take up small time carpentry, ... but he will never beg on the streets

NEW DELHI: State-owned oil companies on Thursday have increased the prices of petrol by Rs 1.82 per litre from midnight. Earlier, the petroleum ministry said it is up to the oil companies to decide on raising the rates of the deregulated commodity.

After today's increase, petrol in Delhi will cost Rs 68.64 a litre. The rates will vary in other cities according to local levies.

This is the second hike in petrol prices in less than two months and it came on a day when the food inflation rose "dangerously" to 12.21 per cent for the week ended October 22.

"It is for them (oil companies) to decide. They will take a decision at a right time," Oil secretary G C Chaturvedi told reporters.

Slamming the hike, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter, "Petrol price hiked again - another blow to the common man from an insensitive government."

Indian Oil, HPCL and Bharat Petroleum had last hiked petrol prices by Rs 3.14 a litre on September 16, when the rupee was valued at about Rs 48 per US dollar. The exchange rate is now over Rs 49 per dollar. State-owned oil firms Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum had earlier hiked petrol prices by Rs 3.14 a litre on September 16 when the rupee was ruling at about 48 to a US dollar. The local currency has depreciated further.

The rupee on Thursday closed at 49.14/15 against the US dollar.

The government had in June last year deregulated or freed petrol from all price controls but the retail rates have not moved in line with cost as high inflation rate forced the oil companies to seek 'advice' from parent oil ministry before revising rates.

"On the day terrorists attacked Mumbai, ASI Tukaram Omble, 48, was on the night duty. At 12.30 am on 27 November he had called his family and spoken to them.

Omble's senior told him to take up position on Marine Drive on Wednesday night, after the news of firings at Leopold Cafe, Oberoi and Taj Hotels came in. Around 12.45 am, he got an alert on his walkie-talkie that two terrorists had hijacked a Skoda car and were heading for Girgaum Chowpatty. Just minutes later, the Skoda whizzed past him.

Omble jumped on to his motorcycle and chased the car. A team from DB Marg police station was setting up a barricade at the chowpatty signal. As the car approached the signal, the terrorists opened fire on the police, but had to reduce speed because of the barricades. Omble overtook the Skoda and stopped in front of it, forcing the driver of the car to swerve right and hit the divider. With the terrorists momentarily distracted, Omble sprang toward one of them, Ajmal Kasab, and gripped the barrel of the AK47 rifle with both hands. With the barrel pointing towards Omble, Kasab pulled the trigger, hitting Omble in the abdomen. Omble collapsed, but held on to the gun till he lost consciousness, which likely stopped Kasab from shooting others."

A picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture of the Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the U.S. paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile.

The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope." The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life."

Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person" Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.
