Germany and Vienna

A little late at getting these pictures up, but we had a wonderful time in Germany during the last holidays. We got a chance to hang out with Liane's friends and family. During the time in Germany, we snuck away to Vienna for 3 days. It was a blast!

Germany & London

We attended a wedding in Germany for one of Liane's best friends. It was an amazing time! The couple live an hour outside of Berlin on a horse farm. On the way back, we stayed 5 nights in London which was a blast.

Yes, my parents are getting a new dog. Very exciting stuff. Last weekend we went to visit the breeder...we got a chance to play with the full litter (eight poodle puppies at seven weeks). Cause they move around a lot, it was hard to get good pics...

The Atheist

We don't go to the theater enough! I enjoy modern works (no Shakespeare for me). We were lucky enough to catch Ronan Noone's The Atheist. It was very enjoyable. It starred Campbell Scott (from The Secret Lives of Dentists) as the only character :) I cannot wait to see my next Noone.

DeCordova Sculpture Park

On the same day that we saw the Gropius House, we also checked out the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park. We took some pictures which hopefully one day we will put it. We highly recommend checking out the park in the summer!

Gropius House

Over the summer (yeah we are a little slow updating the site), we had the pleasure of visiting the Gropius House. I knew nothing about the house or the architect (Liane of course knew a lot about him). The house is amazing. If you are interested in seeing a house that will make you think, go check it out!

Monster Seats!

I was lucky enough to win the monster seats lottery this year and I was able to get Red Sox / Yankees tickets for a Sept game. It was a lot of fun!

We went to Cleveland for the first time this summer. We had a lot of fun meeting the foosball community there and we caught a game at Jacob's Field. A very nice park...we had the worst seats in the park so we sat by the bar in right field instead. Fun times!

Portland 2007

Went to Portland Oregon for business over the summer. A fun conference where I learned a lot and got a chance to catch up with old friends. I also got a chance to play some chess downtown before I left town.

Guys Weekend in Burlington

Every year the guys find a spot in the summer to go for a weekend. This year we went to Burlington Vermont. It was a load of fun! The best part was kayaking on the lake.

I had been meaning to take Liane to a Red Sox game all season. She has only been to a handful of games (and I have been to too many to count). In the 6th inning Liane wanted to go to the bathroom! I tried to tell her she couldn't with out telling her why. I pointed to the scoreboard hoping she would understand. You see what is going on? Anyway, she thought I was crazy and *gasp* went to the bathroom. I followed her and waiting outside the bathroom in front of a tv. I screamed with every out. Shaking my hand at the tv while thinking to myself that we might get away with this. We left our seats in a no-hitter and it didn't screw anything up :) Here is a link to the box score.

Liane Visits Evanston for the First Time

Very slow in getting this collection online. Liane and I went to Evanston for a wedding in the spring. It was the first time that she had been there. It was a lot of fun to catch up with old friends and to see how the campus has changed. It is too bad that I never spent a summer there as the campus is soooo beautiful.

Weekend in NYC!

Liane and I packed our bags for a fun weekend in New York City. We ate at nice restaurants, watched a Mets game, went to the Met, and met up with a lot of fun people. I always tell myself I should get down to "the City" more often. I mean it is soooo close. This year we made it twice...a new record for me.
