Anime Series New Season - Kurokami

Kurokami - Possibly the best anime this season, awesome fight scenes, animation not amazing but definitely worth watching. Great humanity concept in my opinion. 9/10

"Keita Ibuki is an independent and struggling freelance computer programmer who, with two of his friends, is developing and trying to sell a video game program to big-time video game companies in Tokyo while trying to stay afloat and survive financially with money being given to him by his 21-year old childhood friend Akane Sano. He had a chance meeting on one night with a high Mototsumitama named Kuro while eating alone at a ramen stand. He gives her his dinner, a bowl of ramen, and tries to protect her when she is attacked in an ambush by an unknown Mototsumitama. Keita loses his entire left arm during the fight between the Mototsumitamas, but Kuro was able to save his life by exchanging the amputated arm with her own left arm since she has enhanced healing abilities like all Mototsumitamas. This creates a contract between them, which makes her more powerful than before. However, Kuro warns Keita that they need to be together all the time in order to be at their strongest.

As Kuro stays with Keita and gets acquainted with him while meeting with other Mototsumitamas and their human masters, they are targeted by the strongest Mototsumitama clan of the East, the Shishigami (Lion God) Clan in an attempt to kidnap Akane and bring about the destruction of the coexistence balance, which Mototsumitamas are supposed to protect. Meanwhile, Keita is determined to find out why his mother had died after seeing her double as a young boy and find out who is responsible for trying to destroying the coexistence balance on Earth." - from Wikipedia

I think that the idea of having people who look exactly like you is rather interesting. Whats more interesting is that when 2 of them meet they die depending on whos the filler and whos the origin. Do note that the above synopsis from wikipedia is somewhat different to the anime, but i'll let you find out the difference by watching it :D.

Tales of Symphonia - Knight of Ratatosk/Dawn of the New World

If you are a "tales" fan then judging by the last article's title you can probably guess that I have recently completed the game Tales of Symphonia - Knight of Ratatosk/Dawn of the New World. Let me start off by saying that this game, like many other sequel/spinoff, is a game which you will only like if you have played the first Tales of Symphonia or any other tales games and loved it.

This game revolves around a new story about what happens after the Journey of Regeneration in the first game. Palmacosta was attacked and Lloyd was seen as the one who caused the blood Purge. Weird things have happened around the world such as lakes drying up, snow in the desert and monsters rampaging towns and villages. The new main character named Emil, who along with companions Marta and Tenebrae travels around the now combined world of Tethe'alla and Sylvarant collecting Centurion Cores. These centurion cores are required to revive the dormant Lord Ratatosk who has the power to turn everything back to normal.

Now without giving any spoilers I will try and review this game:
Plot:
The plot sounds good to begin with, but drifts off when more of the original characters return to the game. At the end it gets even more confusing, there doesn't seem to be an actual "Bad Guy" in this story, as most of the enemies are merely disillusioned. There are 3 endings to this game, bad, normal and good. The Good/True ending is the same as the normal ending but with extended scenes before and after the credit. This ending is the true ending to the story, which even though the whole story is not amazing, it doesn't give a relatively good and happy end to the game. The bad end however is a "OMG you must be joking wtfbbq" type end. A game can't possibly have a more tragic end than this....saying that its more like a copy of Romeo and Juliet.
They even had to put "the end" with a blood background....

Overall I give the plot of the story a 7/10, a bit higher than expected only because its a TOS game...

Gameplay:
Most of the gameplay is the same as the old game, which is good if not brilliant. There are a few new features and ones that have changed. The most noticeable one is definitely the world map, isntead of old traditional walk around big character on the landscape type map. This is a simple click and select type world map. Many reviews have said that this change is a bad change because it loses the part of "exploring" but really, what can u explore anyway, there isn't really any need of a world map where u can walk to every corner of the continent. Even though there were some secret things in the world map of the old game.....were they really that important?

Another new aspect of the game is the monster pacts. you can now use monsters in the battle as there are only 2 main human characters to begin with (though joined by the other 8 later). It makes the monster pacts sound useless as human characters are generally better with nice skills. Still you have to give them effort for putting 200+ monsters in.

A lot of reviews (mainly gamespot) commented on the large amount of cutscenes and in game cinematics the game has. I actually loved it, probably because I like watching these stuff. It makes me wish that there was an actual anime based on this (fingers crossed that it'll come out after the TOS OVAs). There is only one anime cinematic and thats the OP.....could have done with more.....

I'll give the gameplay about 8/10.

Music:
Most of the music in this game are just remixes or new versions of the ones in the old game. The new ones actually sound very good, but there is one problem and that is the theme. Once again in the US version fo the game they decided to change the original theme Ninin Sankyaku by misono to another theme. Mind you both themes are very good, but it would still be better if they kept the original instead.

I'll probably give this 8/10, just not enough original tracks.

Graphics and Presentation:
Still cel-shaded graphics but better than the first game on the Gamecube. A bit "blocky" but with its anime stylish characters it's not too bad. I actually prefer this than going for realistic graphics. The cel-shading is done with bright colours and the actions of the characters are done pretty well. Not much to say really except that I totally approve of it.... 8/10

Other comments:
The main story itself lasts for about 35 hours but with side quests it can take you up to 80 hours. Also a 2nd play through is crucial because there are additional things and things that you may have missed in the first play through...

I'll give this game 8/10!

Well after a year without posting I have decided to start blogging again..... now that I'm at university I thought I should start commenting about my new lifestyle. Still watching anime, catching on withthe new season. Still building Gundams...need to finish a MG Destiny. Started playing guitar properly! Still suck but everyone starts somewhere ¬_¬.....

Anyway lets start off with a Happy New Year! Most people have their resolutions but I don't have one yet, mainly because I tend to go off the track :S.

Ah end of another week, 2 exams next week ugh and I havn't been revising :S

Watched loads of anime in the past 5 days, the new episodes for H2O, which i find really interesting, True Tears and Dragonaut. Also started watching Aria but I doubt i'll watch it properly. Downloaded Baccano! but it doesn't interst me a lot :S

The episode of Shakugan no shana S2 today was worth noting about. Ogata was caught in The Interpreter of Condolsence Margery Daw's flames. I don't know whether she actually died in it or just injured, but watching Tanaka cry, it was a pretty sad scene. There seems to be a nice plot involved this season. With the Reiji Maigo acting up inside of Yuji, it attracted Pheles who tried to take the Hougu but was stopped by Shana. She was encouraged to stop to help investigate why the Hougu has a silver flame.

Started Persona ~Triniy Soul~ as well, which was good although I've only played the first and second game (havn't completed the second) I still remember the Velvet Room song since my sister loves it. In fact I have an mp3 of the guitar version.

Bamboo blade also caught my interst, I havn't watched that type of anime in ages. Kinda reminds me a little of GTO and Japanese Dramas :S.

Other new episodes i watched was Rosario + Vampire, Wolf And Spice (or Spice And Wolf), They Are My Noble Masters and last episode of Sky Girls. Although only an epilogue episode, Sky Girls is great and the ending was expected. It turned out to be a very enjoyable series with a good ending, though I doubt there will be a second season :(.

Hayate no Gotoku 39 - A Plot I Hear?

Well it seems that Himegami is trying to collect these items to awaken the Legendary God Butler Dragon. He just took Hayate's new butler armour (saint seiya parody armour) and he needs 3 more to summon the dragon!

The whole episode was amazing, one of the best Hayate No Gotoku to date. Gainax and Gonzo helped in developing this episode and there were many Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann parodies as well as other Gainax and Gonzo animes. Even the animation of the episode was change to fit in like Gurren Lagann (the advert screens as well :D). The fight scenes between Hinagiku Katsura and the Superintenden was amazing! Himegami did an evangelion type kick as well! He took his mask off too!

4th Season next week! Can't wait (even though i started complaining about the show a week ago)!

Just finished the first 10 hr exam...need rest!

Rosario + Vampire, H2O - First Impressions

Watched the first 2 episodes of these 2 series last night and I have to say....I am impressed!

Rosario + Vampire is probably the new "Goshuusho Sama Ninomiya Kun" for me, full of fan service and not a bad plot either. H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ has a really interesting plot but I'll talk about that later....

Rosario + Vampire is about a guy named Tsukune Aono who is a loser to be honest, for failing to get to high school next year. His dad mysteriously picks up a high school application form so he managed to go to a high school after all. He arrives at a high school in the middle of a haunted forest....with "bats" everywhere....

He then meets this girl called Moka Akashiya by accident, she sucks his blood and claims to be a vampire, although to Tsukune he was unsure if she sucked any and it looked more like a kiss on the neck. The 2 become friends before they enter the academy for the first time. Although everyone looked normal, Tsukune found out that they were in fact monsters and that the whole academy is a school for monsters. Being the only Human there he tries to escape by Moka asks him to stay, saying that she wants friends and hates Human (because she was bullied by them at school before). Tsukune reveals that he is in fact a human and must leave. However before he manages to get out of the forest one of his classmate captured Moka (that scene is amazing by the way :D).

The classmate revealed that he is in fact an Orc and that the school rules say they are not suppose to reveal their monster form to anyone, although he doesn't care. Tsukune tried to rescue Moka but failed and he removed Moka's Rosario, which seals her Vampire Power. As her power gets released bats (normal bats) fly into her and made her bum and chest larger (thought it was pretty funny that scene). Her hair turned silver and her eyes became blood red. She defeated the Orc by doing a super kick which slams the Orc into the wall. Tsukune saw all of it, but fainted afterwards.

When Tsukune woke up, Moka had turn back to normal, they told each other that they wish to remain friends and Moka "kisses" Tsukune to end the episode....

I really liked this first episode, especially after finding out that Nana Mizuki is the Seiyuu for Moka! The plot of this story is interesting and seems like more trouble wll appear!

H2O ~Footprint in the Sand is a very interesting anime but I've already written loads so I'll just copy what is said on ANN:

"Takuma Hirose, a blind young male high school student, though the cause for his blindness is undetermined. After his mother died an unexpected death, it left a deep emotional scar on him, which caused him to become very lonely and reserved. Due to this, Takuma and his father move from the city out into a rural area and Takuma is enrolled into a new high school. At his new school, he meets several new girls, though three of whom he gets to know the most out of anyone else. They are, the firm and obstinate Hayami Kohinata, the kind and obliging Hinata Kagura, and the cheerful and mysterious Otoha. As Takuma interacts with these girls, his medical condition gradually begins to heal."

It is remarkable because although there are quite a bit of fanservice, there are also some extreme things about this anime. The main thing is that the main female cast, Hayami Kohinata gets....not simply beaten up but gets smacked everywhere during the start and in the middle of the episode. It'll be highly interesting on how this anime may turn out, though i suspect it wi'll have a sad ending :(.

Hayate No Gotoku - Nearly The End?

After watching episode 37 and 38 I think the Anime is going to end at 40.....especially with the preview saying Final episode - Part 2 (episode 39). I actually enjoyed watching 37 and 38, even the lame jokes were pretty funny, I guess it is a shame the show is ending soon...

Himegami also appeared in 38....and it's weird that he only appears in the last 3 episode...maybe there is a new season?

Also started watching Bamboo Blade, Rosario + Vampire and H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~. I might write reviews for H2O since some of the other animes i watch are taking a short break...

Still waiting for my Gundams to arrive as well! Grrr....it's been 3 weeks, and the memory stick i ordered 2 months ago still ain't here....They did say they have sent me a second one...but its taking too long...

I just found out that UK's Sky Digital TV had an anime network at the Propeller TV channel.... What The Hell? I never knew UK had an anime network on TV! Apparently that has been discontinued now, and it only shows for 2 hours everyday... I really wonder if anime sells in the UK, you can see HMV stores selling loads of dubbed anime. Everytime I go to HMV I always check it out, yet i don't buy any because it is so expensive, I've seen most of it and I can download them anyway. I do have a friend who buy manga off ebay and other online websites but he normally watches anime off Youtube and what used to be TV-Links. Do people actually buy anime off normal stores?

At first I was surprised that there were people in England that watches anime. Anime is not a common thing over here, you don't see any thing related to anime in town anywhere, but it was actually an English person that got me back to watching anime after moving to UK from Hong Kong. I wonder how people here first heard about animes and manga...

PS: Confirmed that Hayate no Gotoku will NOT be ending at episode 40, infact a new season (4th season) is starting :D

Came by a new Anime today, watched the first episode and thought it was really good, so i started downloading the manga....I've already read up to the latest subbed issue #5 :S

The story is about a common worker/salaryman, Fumihiko Matsumaru, a guy without a girlfriend. He managed to ask a girl to watch a movie but was stood right up. Suddenly a girl named Aka Onda appeared and asked to watch the movie with him. During the movie she started repeating the subtitles being displayed on the screen. She happened to be a novice seiyuu training to be a professional. After having a meal with her he decided to take her home and finding out that she lived in the same neighbourhood. However on the same night a fire broke out near her house and she has no place to live. So where can she go? That's right, the guy's place, and they managed to make out as well!

The next day the girl disappeared and Matsumaru goes to work. His commercial idea was successful and he must find a seiyuu to voice the commercial. The president of the company has already appointed a seiyuu though.......then Aka appears!

After moving to Matsumaru's place they decided that they must hide their "a more than friend but not yet lover" relationship from others....and that is when the trouble starts!

The anime isn't a total reflection of the manga, but the manga is certainly amazing....It has nude scenes of Aka :P and like 1 frame of them having sex :S....there's even a part where Aka was about to do it with another guy but decided not to right before they do it....

The anime is also a bit weird especially its format, having only 9/10 episodes and 10 minutes each excluding the OP song...

This love comedy is totally worth reading if you are a manga fan, although new release may take about a year and I hope it certainly won't end up like D.N.Angel where production has totally stopped :(.

Also finished watching Bokurano a few days ago.....I think the ending is really good, although i didn't expect *Spoiler* Tanaka *End Spoiler* to die...

Hayate no Gotoku (wiki) - "Hayate Ayasaki is renowned as the industry's fastest delivery boy, until his employer fires him on Christmas Eve after learning that he is underage. To his dismay, he learns that his irresponsible parents, whom he supported since the age of eight, received his monthly payment of 170,000 yen (about US$1500). Returning home, he finds that they lost all but twelve yen gambling away his salary and garnered a 156,804,000 yen debt to a yakuza, who they attempt to pay off by selling Hayate's organs as a Christmas gift. Escaping from the yakuza, Hayate decides to kidnap a young girl named Nagi Sanzen'in for ransom money, but fails miserably by giving away his own name. In addition to that, his intended hostage mistakes his request for her to come with him to be a confession of love. Just as Hayate lies down and waits to freeze to death, a bike runs over him and he meets Maria, who is looking for Nagi. Hayate is smitten with her at first glance, though initially, he lies to Maria by saying that he didn't know anything about Nagi. Hayate's spirits lift when Maria gives Hayate her scarf, and shocked by her kindness, he goes on to save Nagi when she is kidnapped by a pair of brothers who owed money to the same yakuza. After saving Nagi, he asks her to find him a new job before collapsing from his injuries. This leads him to becoming Nagi's new butler, who must protect Nagi from all sorts of trouble while performing normal duties alongside Maria, who is Nagi's maid."

The show nearly lost my attention, although there were a few funny bits in the last few episodes, compared to when it first aired however its not nearly as good. I do like the plot to be honest, although it isn't that much of a plot, but there has been an increasing amount of anime that focuses on otakus, hikikomori and anything of that sort this past year. This is anime takes into account of a hikikomori with a different environment, being a girl and rich etc which differs it from other anime of the same genre, however for a nonsense comedy type anime (which there are a lot of this year - Pani Poni Dash, Lucky Star), it lacked potential after the first few episodes.

Another reason for watching anime is obviously the seiyuu for the main star, Rie Kugimiya. After watching Shakugan no Shana, i also watched Zero no Tsukaima and now Hayate no Gotoku and even Gintama. I really like her Loli + Tsundere type voice :P

Happy New Year to all who reads this before I forget :D

Posted the following comment at another blog and though I should put it here as well (many spoilers btw):

2007 was a great year for many anime sequels and new anime, although there were many quirks in anime this year such as the incident about the manuscript of Darker than Black and odd incidents and murders happening in japan (related to School Days final episode being cancelled)

There were many talks about how rubbish some animewas this year, such as Lucky Star. To be honest although I didn't really like it to begin with, with its similarity to Pani Poni Dash which i disliked, I really liked episode 22 of Lucky Star when Konata's dad talks about his wife, for me that was the best scene of 2007, beating even the scenes from Gurren Lagann when Kamina dies. That said, I think that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the best Anime of 2007, although I can understand that not many may like the series and its animation, the storyline has to be the most epic one of all anime this year.

Deathnote was good to begin with, but since I've read the manga the ending of the anime gives a different overall tone compared to the manga. In the manga the ending remains dark and evil, whereas in the anime its playing a calm piano piece which wrecks the tone in my opinion.

Lucky Star is good for the people who have seen Haruhi, likes Hirano Aya, have a personality of an Otaku and have seen many other anime to understand the jokes behind it.

Can't comment on Bokurano, since i've only just started watching it (a bit late i know) but its good so far after 8 episodes, and I am sure the ending will be interesting. Same goes for Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Ef - A Tale Of Memories, just started watching them. However the most fucked up anime for me this year has got to be School Days, when it all starts out very nicely then just goes crazy in the last few episodes....

Others like Nanoha StrikerS, Zero no Tsukaima 2, Dragonaut - the Resonance, Sky Girls, Da Capo 2 and Shakugan no Shana 2 aren't too bad, they deserve more credit than others claim. I have to say that I have enjoyed those anime and they are ones that kept me watching anime this year. Also been watching some old ones like Gundam Wing and To Heart 2.

Special mention to Minami-ke, Goshuushou Sama Ninomiya Kun and Genshiken 2, both have their sense of humour especially Genshiken with its funny yet realistic plot.

Waiting for the continuity of Code Geass and Gundam 00 next year (Ok maybe not Gundam that much)!

Dragonaut - The Resonance 13

Past the half way point already! So quick yet the story feels like no where near the end!

The episode starts off with another flashback, 10 years ago during a meeting to discuss how to defeat the mother of dragons, Thanatos, the Gillard Army talked about their newest warhead, Type X. It is a crystal shaped missile that has enough power to destroy half the Earth. However there was a problem with this plan, it needs a new space shuttle to carry it all the way to where Pluto was. The shuttle was supposed to be created by the ISDA, however due to circumstances they were unable to produce anything of that sort, but introduced the D-Project instead. Instead of a space shuttle they would use an earth-born dragon to carry the Type X missile.

Returning to real time, Gio and Jin were trying to find Toa, who had been kidnapped to Mars by the Gillard Army and unable to actualize due to the CSS wall around her. Meanwhile the Dragonaut squad, Lindwurm Unit were battling against the 4th Original Dragon. Professor Kitajima told the unit that Professor Nozaki is actually the 3rd Original Dragon that they have been looking for.

Toa asked the Prince of Gillard, Asim Jasmaru to let her go and even forced to beg for her to return to protect Jin, but Prince Asim being so evil rejected the idea. Professor Kitajima's ex-assistant, Nanami who betrayed Professor Kitajima and stole the Album, Toa, was shot dead while trying to help Toa with her escape after understanding her feelings for Professor Kitajima by Garent Maclaine of the Gillard army. Toa started "singing" due to her sadness.

Akira and Machina told Gio and Jin to go to Mars to rescue Toa after hearing her song. With the whole Lindwurm Unit's encouragement, they managed to shake off the 4th Dragon and flew to space. The Lindwurm unit were unable to defeat the 4th dragon and Gillard Army refused to help out ISDA while their base was getting destroyed. Out of no where comes Otohime with the Type X warhead, however she was defeated again by the powerful 4th Dragon. The Type X was about to drop into the sea but Gio and Jin came back, caught the falling Type X and smashes into 4th dragon, pushing the 4th upto the sky and exploding together.

Gio and Jin managed to survive using Gio's barrier. At the same time, the commander of ISDA, Sakaki unleashes the next phase of the D-Project using the new shuttle Avenir.

A pretty good episode, but all i can say is that the story is progressing too slow and that it is only scheduled for 25 episodes! Also did you know that Major Garnet Maclaine is voiced by one of the most popular seiyuu Hirano Aya? O.O

Finished Lucky Star yesterday, nice comedy anime that grows on you after a while :D I rate it 9/10! Here is the dance Btw:

The anime contains mixed types of comedy, such as everyday life theme, childhood theme to otaku themes. The comedy is pretty balanced in each episode, although ther wasn't a single joke that managed to get me to laugh my ass off, most of them did generate a chuckle out of me. I can understand why some people don't get this anime, like how i don't get Pani Poni Dash. Still a sweet anime overall with unique animation and design!

Lucky Star 22

Wow even though most people have seen the whole series already and are waiting for the 2nd season (hopefully there is one), I've been trying to catch up :P. I have to comment on Episode 22 because it is such a good episode. It was so heartwarming that it actually made me cry because it was unexpected from the normal random comedy :'(.

The main part of the episode is when Konata's father talks about Konata's mum, and the appeareance of her mum in ghost form. When asked by Konata why "Mom decide on Dad?" while confused by the fact that he's an "old perverted lolicon otaku", her dad had trouble answering it himself, saying that he's a failure in life, then he replied that there was one thing he was always confident about, the fact that he is the man who loved Kanata (his wife) the most in the whole, entire world. It was at this point that I was so moved and touched. Kanata then recalls all her happy memories of them being together.

Myself; Yourself 13 - End

This series has finally ended after about 3-4 months. I have mixed feelings about this series due to the fact that it starts out with a happy sort of mood then gets all serious in the second half of the anime.

~Spoilers~

The episode starts out with Nanaka recalling what happened in the past, It seems that her Violin teacher and her Parents were best friends back at high school, however her mum cheated with the violin teacher. Her dad found out when the violin teacher confessed everything, just before he died of a terminal cancer. This caused her dad to snap and eventually tried to kill his whole family in a burning blaze.

Nanaka later tried to commit suicide, which leads to explaining why Sana came back. He was bullied so much at middle school that he slit his wrist in the bath, exactly what Nanaka did.

Suddenly 10 years later, Nanaka performs at an open air concert in a park. The group of friends were there, even Shuu and Shuri. Sana proposes to Nanaka at the back stage, and Nanaka said yes (woot). Nanaka, having not played the violin in the whole series (except when she was in the flashbacks) performs her composed song, Myself; Yourself.

The ending i thought was a bit weird, I know it's a good ending but I think it would be better if they expanded on it. I highly doubt there will be a second series. Have to say though, Nanaka is pretty hot after 10 years :P

The animation of the series was well done, the plot is not bad but can get a bit extreme in my opinion :S. I'll rate this anime 7/10. More Screenies to follow:

Also, I won't be doing a review for every episode of an anime mainly because I am watching so many different ones at the moment. Altough I am watching Bleach and Naruto I really don't want to do them because I am finding them extremely boring compared to others.....I will probably do Dragonaut - The Resonance, Sky Girls, Rental Magica and Da Capo II.

Wow Christmas Eve already, and my Gundams still hasn't arrived :(

Gonna round up what happened in the past week:

Anime -
Goshuushou sama Ninomiya kun

Great series although people thinks it was just another fan service anime......at least the fan service was good! Not like Ikkitousen where the whole plot was filled with random crap, Dragon Destiny was worse :(

The main female characters Reika and Mayu were designed great, the voice acting is awesome and I love their OP and ED. Hopefully a second season will arrive next year!

Sky Girls -

Man what an anime, watched from 1-23 in like 4 days :P animation is pretty good, plot makes me feel like watching evangelion... Hopefully the ending is good though!

Lucky Star -

At first I was scared that this anime will be similar to Pani Poni Dash. I hated Pani Poni Dash because the nonsense was not funny at all. Lucky Star however was different. After hearing loads of people talking about it I finally gave in (go Kagamin!)...decided to give it a go and I'm impressed. All the Otaku/gaming jokes in there is great. Even though it also has those nonsense question things in but they are way more funny than Pani Poni Dash :P

Gundam -
Gundam Seed Destiny HG 1/144

Finally painted this gundam, although I left sthe panel lines off the sword and blast cannon out, overall it looks pretty appealing (to me at least). My mums got the camera atm, i'll post pictures ASAP.

Favourite Gundam

Lets start off my first Gundam post!

I collect mainly Gundam Seed and Destiny figures, however I have now started collecting Gundam 00 and Wing models. I only have one HG 1/100 model, and that is the Blue Frame 2nd L:

As you can see it is pretty big, The sword is my favourite part, I love big swords :P. The sword itself is actually a backpack with a gatling gun in the middle. However the blade is way way too heavy to hold normally which is why posing this gundam is not easy at all.

It still looks cool with the sword as its backpack :P

I'll be getting a Strike Noir 1/100 MG in February to April but i already have the HG 1/144 version:

Camera is a bit fuzzy, but you can see it is a sweet gundam. this is the pre painted version, I have yet to take the painted version since my mum took the camera but will do so asap!

I might order a conversion kit for the Strike Noir so it looks even better!

Welcome to my new Blog ~Silfarion~ !

This is a blog about me, Sieg, a fanatic of Model/Figures (mainly Gundams) and Animes. Although I am not quite an Otaku, I am still pretty obsessed with these type of stuff, being a Chinese from Hong Kong, I grew up with Transformers on TV everyday.

Situated in the UK since 1996, I have lived in a small town in the midlands. I only rediscovered the art of animation when one of my sister's friend gave her a copy of Full Metal Panic!. At that time I also learnt how to download stuff off the internet :P

I started collecting Gundams about a year ago, buying them off eBay since i cannot get them here. Now I have a total of 20+ Gundams with new ones coming in 2 weeks time (Gundam Wing Customer Special and Deathscythe Hell Custom).

I am also a pretty Hardcore gamer, starting with a NES, SNES, Gameboy, GBA, Playstation, Gamecube, DS and finally a Wii. Originally a Playstation supporter, I have unknowingly been converted into a Nintendo fan.

A question that people always ask me is where did I get the name from. I actually took it from an anime called Rave Master (Groove Adventure Rave - although anime stops at about 1/3 of the original story, the manga is top-notch). There is a character called Sieg Hart who is an elemental master. I thought he was pretty cool and I used to have names that was related to hawks so I merged the 2 names together :D

This also leads me to Guildwars, an MMORPG/CORPG that was so hyped up before, I managed to get it a few days after the release. Reading through the manual, I found a face that looks exactly like Sieg Hart from Rave, and by coincidence the clothing is similar also. The profession happened to be an elementalist, so I made an avatar of that straight away.

A year ago I also started playing Guitar. Not that I'm good at it, i do enjoy playing Anime and Game guitar tabs, but they are so hard to find :( I also am fond of football, supporting Chelsea football club since 2000.
