Want to clean-up your blog from unwanted broken links? Well, introducing a plug-in that will do it for you.

Let’s face it, broken links are bad. They are bad for your blog because it’s like having a cluttered blog and it is bad for your visitors are you will be giving them an ugly “404 NOT FOUND” page. I believe Google doesn’t like it also so what do you do to something nobody likes?

Remove them from the face of the planet!

How to detect and remove broken links?

I can give you two ways to do it.

1.) Manual checking of every link in every post and see if they work or not. For a blog with 10 posts, this is very easy but for a blog that has been up for two years, good luck. I tried to do this before when I was changing permalinks but I never finished it. I gave up eventually.

2.) The second option is the main reason for this blog post. Luckily that there’s a plug-in that will do #1 for you automatically. All you have to do is to rest, blog about other things while it scours your blog for any bad broken link and reports it to you.

Gosh! I have 175 broken links… this is going to be a long night repairing them. Well, this plug-in not only reports to you the broken links, it also gives you an option to fix them.

You can do the following:

1. View Broken Link details - shows you how many times the plug-in tried, what result it got..blah blah blah
2. Unlink - remove the broken link.. basically it will remove the anchor tag
3. Exclude - I don’t know why you would do this but it will exclude this link from its search
4. Edit URL - Use this if you want to replace the link.

Now doesn’t it look good for your blog? I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to spend some time now to fix my blog and clean-up these broken links.

After watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on the movies, I wanted to try the game version of Transformers.

Well, after playing for around 30-40 minutes where I learned about the controls, I can say that the transformers game is boring. I was expecting so much and got disappointed.

Ok, you can play as the one of the robots, and you are simply going to shoot/punch your way all the way to the end of the stage. After that, you can hear some voice acting by the robots then another level. Do the same thing, kill them or be killed by overwhelming enemies. Your controls are simply to shoot some unlimited ammo gun, shoot a big shot limited super weapon, or punch them melee style. Enemies usually die after getting punched.

Enemies also drop some powerups which can either heal, increase your energy or change your unlimited ammo gun. You can also do a special move where they will transform to their vehicle counterparts then do some weird dance and the enemies drop dead. Aside from that, it’s all shoot or punch till the end of the level.

ah yeah, Bumblebee has the highest survival rate among the autbots because he is the only who can heal himself. Healing is a must in this game and others are just too slow and die like flies.

My expectations for this game were like this:

• Be able to transform to your vehicle and back to be able to strategize against your opponents - best part of transformers!!! It was what made transformers so cool and yet its not in the game!
• Better graphics. (yes it has cool movies and stuff but the normal game has so so graphics… you just have tons of exploding cars and trucks)
• Better controls. The controls are easy and straight forward. They gave you a chance to dodge enemies yet you can’t control how you dodge? (if you know how to control it, leave a comment)

So what’s next? Oh well, I hope the next transformers psp game would be better else we can say that this belongs to cool movie, crap game group.

1.) The ads don’t show up properly in firefox and in IE.

In Firefox - Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don’t.

In IE - The leaderboard ad is showing me a page not found

What will you do if you know someone who has Swine Flu? I’m sure with the current situation, that person will be ostracized. But that should not be the case. We should provide support for that person for this fast recovery.

People fear the A(H1N1) virus just like a man-eating monster but if you look at it, the only reason that it is a pandemic is due to its fast spreading techniques. As far as deaths due to swine flu, Dengue and TB would kick its butt for their awesomeness in killing people with the disease. You can only die from Swine Flu if you have weak immune system already which means you have other diseases that it will be a disease gang attack on you.

So fear not, Swine Flu has been over hyped and so people are so scared of it. Imagine closing the whole school for just 1 person. Ain’t he special? Treat swine flu just like any other flu.

• Get plenty of rest
• Be mindful of what you touch, smell, eat, lick, etc…
• Drink plenty of water
• Don’t be stressed
• Buy some medications

I hope this fear of Swine Flu does not escalate just like this…

This news just in. A woman of age 49 died last week and she is confirmed to have A(H1N1) or Swine Flu.

I read the article in Inquirer after I was given a heads-up about this news. At first I thought, wow, Swine Flu is now killing people in the Philippines but after reading the article, it is not really the case.

There is still no confirmation that the woman died due to A(H1N1) virus because she is already sick with other diseases too. She died of heart failure of something pneumonia (nosebleed medical terms).

So what can we do with this news? The only thing we can do is to NOT PANIC. People are afraid of Swine Flu because it spreads fast and not because Swine Flu kills people fast. These two are very different. You can say that there are already people who died of Swine Flu but do check their medical records. Those who have died are those who are old, babies, or those with medical conditions already.This means that their immune system is already weak so Swine Flu A(h1n1) just took advantage of that.

So if you are a healthy person and you have swine flu, just give yourself rest and drink some medications and you will be on a successful road to recovery. But why would you want to have swine flu, just live a heatlhy life and observe proper hygiene and manners such as;

• covering your mouth when you sneeze;
• wash your hands a lot;
• avoid people who sneeze, cough or spit in the ground (slap those fools for they pollute the Earth with their saliva),
• drink some supplements that are rich in vitamin C

Anyway, bottomline, someone in the Philippines has died and she has Swine Flu. Still, do not panic.
