Currently one of my favourite trends is the monochromatic look. It was by chance that I paired this top and skirt together and realised how nicely the two pieces complimented each other. I also like the face that it appears to look like a dress from afar.

Yesterday I went shopping with my friend to help her find shoes and I kept finding myself heading into clothes stores to see if they had anything new. I realised that autumn is arriving soon, and I really do miss Winter fashion. I believe I need to invest in a new coat/ cape for this winter.

P.s. It awfully seems like I am touching my hair constantly whilst taking these photos.. I blame the wind for messing it up.

Metallic Dress

I was on a three day retreat and came back on Wednesday. It was my last school retreat and it was one of my favourite. The view at the site was spectacular as we could over look the city lights from where we were at during the night. We did a lot of reflection about ourselves, which is something I don't usually do as I'm always occupied by something, such as going on the computer and hence I'm glad I had the opportunity to do so.. I also started my first official day of school today (still in shock that it's my last year). I have my school formal coming up again in late March and I still have not found a dress that I fancy.. I do hope I find one soon though because I cannot really be bothered to constantly look around for a dress.

Festive Me

It was my first time going to the Schützenfest, which is a German Festival held annually. Even though it was a warm evening, I knew the weather was going to be very cold at night so I wore my knitted sweater, which I haven't touched since last winter. I love the gold cuffs that I purchased from ASOS, I've worn them constantly with everything I wear. It adds such a nice, and edgy touch to all my outfits. I'm such a magpie, considering how I can't keep my eyes off cuffs, shiny and metallic things.

Sadly, my summer break is coming to an end, and I start school again this week.. It is my last and most important year so I am not sure how regularly I can even update my blog. However, I will still try my best to maintain the blog since it's such an addictive hobby to me ( I'm unsure whether that is a good or bad thing).

Summer Time

I enjoy going to the beach to look at the sunset as it's such a picturesque sight to view. It was also my first time trying Fruiz Berry after I saw a few pictures of my other friends having it. It's quite tasty.

Sometime last month, I went to eat at a restaurant called 'Celsius' on Gouger Street. I haven't eaten anything that fancy before, and whilst indulging in the food, I constantly took photos of every course. I love, love, love beautiful food presentation, it's just so attractive to the eye (and mouth).

Lastly, as it is a two month holiday, I was suppose to learn to cook more because I actually don't know how to cook.. I usually either eat food my parent's cook, fast food, or reside to ramen/ cup noodles.. Alas, it seems like I did very minimal cooking though here are a few that I actually cooked. The first dish, a salad with beef skewers was cooked together with my other two friends. The second dish is a chicken salad.

P.s. Tomorrow is Australia Day! I hope everyone in Australia, has a great Australian day with your family and friends.

City life

I love Miss Unkon's dress designs. When I was shopping in Sydney, I was browsing through a store that stocked Miss Unkon dresses and saw this one. I love the colour of the dress, the cut out patterns around the waist as well as the scalloped layers. I bought the dress after a lot of consideration, even when I knew I had no occasion to wear it to. I eventually wore this dress to a dinner with my friends.

These Jo Mercer shoes are also a new pair of shoes added to my collection. I have not bought shoes in the longest time, so as my birthday has just passed, it gave me an excuse to buy a few new pairs. I have been wanting heels like these, so when I saw it on sale, I could not help but fall in love with them immediately. My friends said that I looked like a business woman in this outfit haha.

It has also been a while since I've taken outfit photos so publicly like this, whilst busy cars are driving past and pedestrians at every angle. Though, I could not care less while I stood in the middle of the pathway..

Oh and lastly, my blog was on private for 1-2 days before as my friend was trying to help me get my own domain, which should be soon, so I'm pretty excited!

Just Tickled Pink

I've always heard about this cafe called 'Just Tickled Pink' but it was my first time actually going there. I love how the entire cafe has so a lot of pretty and girly decorations as well as many, many Audrey Hepburn portraits. It actually reminds me a lot of my room since my room is also pink with a few Audrey Hepburn portraits too. I am actually a very girly girl, so anything pink makes me very excited. I had to sort out through so many photos because I didn't even realise that I kept constantly snapping every angle of the cafe. The smoked salmon salad was extremely tasty and the cupcakes were scrumptious.
My friend, Belinda wore a very gorgeous skirt that day. I love long maxi skirts.

Sushi Night

To be honest, I feel extremely absurd to be posting about such a belated Christmas post when Christmas has past a few weeks ago. However, it was such a great night with my stylish best friends that I couldn't help but post it up anyway. We were originally meant to eat at a different Japanese restaurant but we forgot to book it. Hence, the place was already booked out by the time we came. I really craved for a sushi boat so this restaurant, which is called Hotaru was one of the few that we suggested along the way. We also had tonkatsu, green tea ice cream and fried ice cream. It was quite a nice place to eat at and we spent a lot of our time unwrapping each others' present at the restaurant, which was very exciting.

If you also didn't realise, my friends and I are all wearing either red, green, or white, to be in Christmas spirit. It has been a tradition for us to do this for a few years now. I must say though, it was quite embarrassing walking around the city in matching Christmas colours.

Another belated post from December, last year. My friends and I went to a really beautiful and girly cafe to have brunch. I'll post the photos of the cafe in another post as I took a lot of photos that day. Since it is the holiday, I decided to wear some of my pieces that I don't usually wear out when I'm in a hurry to go out and in this case, it was this gorgeous skirt from Ask Grace. I don't understand why I don't wear any of my maxi skirts out more often, they're all so fun and different to wear out.

Oh, and who doesn't love drinking Boost juice on a summer's day (and every other day)?

These are currently my favourite nail polish colours. I remember paying for something at American Apparel, and whilst I was waiting for my turn to pay, I looked around the nail polish collection and saw the beautiful gold colour and immediately purchased it too.

I really adore the colour of this dress. It's such a nice and vibrant colour for summer.

I attended a friend's surprise birthday party that day and it was probably my first surprise party. It was really fascinating, even though I didn't expect the party to have a waterfight.. Not wanting to get wet, I thought it was a clever idea to stay inside the house since no one would wet me in there. However, around thirty minutes later, one of my friends literally dragged me outside and someone had a bucket full of water, ready to completely wet me.. I spent the entire night near the campfire in her backyard trying to dry myself up. By the time I got home, my dress smelt like burnt ashes. It was an interesting day.

Galaxy Tights

I absolutely adore these tights from Black Milk. I have always wanted a pair of tights from their site but could never come to a decision of which print I favoured the most. After a lot of contemplation, I purchased this pair and I've been wearing them a lot, mainly because my legs are covered in mozzie bites/ insect bites, bruises, and all... (Don't ask me how I got them because I really have no idea either!)

I was also gifted a Rabbito case as a Christmas present and recently it has been going around with me with a few missing pieces. One of its ears broke off and its tail is always at home because it falls off really easily. Poor iPhone case. Hahah

At the end of the day, my friend and I chilled at T- bar, sipping on refreshing strawberry green ice tea.

I hope everybody had a great NYE yesterday and a wonderful/ fantastic 2012. This is what I wore yesterday for NYE, and the top is from ZARA. I have the same top but in a different colour, which shows you how much I love this top. It's such a nice sparkly top to wear out.

Here's also an outfit sneak peak for next time. It's the galaxy tights from Black Milk and it's seriously my favourite pair of tights for a while! It's so fun to wear. I'm actually going to go back to cleaning/ tidying the house again, for a fresh new start to 2012 so....

Sequined Skirt

I finally had the chance to wear this gorgeous sequined skirt from Mika and Gala, which was once again, purchased in Sydney, to my friend's birthday party. This skirt has got to be one of my favourites because I currently love anything shiny or glittery. I wanted to wear a bright coloured top with the skirt, so that it could match with my shoes and allow the overall outfit to have a "pop" with the different colours.

I'm finally realizing that in just a couple more days, 2011 will come to an end and we will be faced with a new year, full of challenges and more exciting memories. I actually can't wait to use my new 2012 diary from Frankie, even though I have already began to decorate in it.

This is such a belated post when I went out with my friend. which was 1-2 weeks ago... After shopping for a while, we decided to relax at Hudson's. This is my second time wearing my American Apparel skirt and it's such a shame that I've only worn it out for the second time. I definitely have to wear it out more.

I should really get ready soon as I'm still in pajamas and tonight, I'm going out with my best friends to exchange our Christmas presents. I'm actually excited for this Christmas weekend, I hope everyone will have a great Christmas as well!

After what it may seem like years, I finally attended a wedding. I love weddings because it has such a festive and loving atmosphere. Not only so, I can use that as an excuse to formally dress up, do my hair, and my make up. Oh and not to mention eating the delicious wedding food and seeing everyone else in glamorous outfits. I was in a rush that day so I just did 'whatever..' to my face. I'm not even good at make up, so trying to line the eyeliner accurately on both eyes was very stressing and I had to keep visiting my make up remover.

I bought this dress ages ago, months ago because I saw it in Dotti and I really liked it. It is a good thing that I finally have an occassion to wear it to. The style is similar to the H&M x Lanvin dresses that I use to really admire.

And say hello to my new favourite shoes from ZARA, which I purchased when I was in Sydney.

Christmas is Near

Christmas is around the corner and I have yet to do a proper Christmas post. This again, is the christmas tree in our city that is up every year but this year it's a little different because the council decided to put up lanterns too. Luckily, I brought my camera that night so I was able to capture the lovely image.

Zara recently opened a store in my city and it was only recently that I finally took a visit. I purchased this top because it was the last one in my size and I am really attracted to anything shiny or metallic looking, and this was not an exception... I've also been wearing the Sportsgirl metal cuff with every outfit lately.

I wore this outfit to buy a last minute birthday present for my friend whilst also catching up with some other friends. I managed to play "Twister" (the board game) in these jeans.

Christmas is around the corner and I really need to start buying Christmas presents as I have not started at all... Even though it's extremely difficult to not buy anything for myself when the Christmas sales are so, so, so damn tempting!

Belated Sydney Photo Diary

I have been experiencing such a busy week that I had no time to blog. Strangely enough, I finally have the time to sort through photos from Sydney... a month later. Lately, I've been obsessed with anything glittery, metallic, or shiny. Whether it's pieces of clothing, nail polish colours, shoes... everything...

I also re-dyed my hair even though the colour is quite similar to my previous one but brighter I suppose. I just needed a new colour since I was getting sick of seeing bad re-growth.

By the way, this is my little cousin Amy, who apparently reads my blog everyday... (How cute)

It was a terribly hot day when I wore this outfit that as soon as I stepped out of the house, I already felt like melting. This outfit was a week ago when I went to study for my exams (I know, delayed much?) I didn't want to dress up too much and instead, I accessorized it with necklaces and bracelets.

I'M FINALLY ON HOLIDAYS, and it seriously feels freaking amazing. It's going to be a long summer holiday too, hence I'm hoping that I will do as much as possible within the time frame. I will blog more frequently too, or at least I try to.

I've purchased this dress for a few months now, but I never had the chance to wear it out because the weather was never warm enough to do so. I wore this on the Saturday when I was in Sydney, which was also the day of the concert. I originally wore a cobalt blue blazer with it, however an hour in the city and the weather was already so warm. I love the colour of the dress and it matched really well with the Sportsgirl feather earring. Thanks to Julie who also took some of the photos of me.

Breakfast

It seems that every time I go to the Adelaide airport, I always take a visit to Chocolat. This time around, my sister had waffles whilst I indulged myself in a croissant. (I've been strangely addicted to croissants and chocolate croissants for a while now).
I will finally be on my summer holidays this Friday, which means lots and lots of freedom, which means holidays for around two months, and a break from school. I have many things to blog about as well, so watch out for it. :)
But as for now... I will have to continue studying for four more of my exams...

Flower Child

As some of you may have known, I was in Sydney over the weekends and it was an aaaaaamazing trip, despite lasting only 2-3 days. I will post photos taken throughout my "mini" holiday when I have the time to sort through them, as I believe that a numerous amount of photos was captured...
I love, love, love Sydney's atmosphere - the busy streets crowded with "locals" and tourists, the endless and glorious food restaurants, awesome and pretty stores/ boutiques to shop at..., and the list goes on. ( I always say this every time I come back home from Sydney.)

This blazer is my newest addition to my blazer collections. I purchased the lovely piece from Bardot and the colour is so vibrant and beautiful. I want to also thank my friend who gifted me this ZARA top whilst she was on a school trip to France (lucky). I was overwhelmed when she gave it to me. Since I haven't been buying any new accessories for a while, I also want to thank my cousin for buying me a lot of new accessories. I love them all. It's such a shame that I left the floral wreath in Sydney though... I have to go and buy another one for myself now.

Oh, and should I do a post on the K-pop concert or not? Since I'm unsure whether you will be interested in reading about it or not. Let me know what you think :)
