I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the jihadist attack at Fort Hood, TX on Thursday, November 6, 2009. May God comfort your souls, ease your suffering and sorrow in a way that only HE can, and heal your bodies of the injuries sustained.

What happenned at Fort Hood will mark another "day that will go down in INFAMY". May the sacrifice made by these faithful soldiers and civilians serve to WAKE UP our slumbering masses and their deluded leaders -- military, civilian, political, media, academic -- to the FACT that we are engaged in a "JIHAD", A WAR, against a ruthless enemy that will stop at nothing to destroy our way of life whether they come at us one a time, in cells, or a massive terrorist attack. Their cultic, demonic delusion drives them with a hatred we cannot begin to fathom, but to deny it is suicide. May the TRUE and living God bless and protect our soldiers.

Senate Bans Delivery of Petitions

So, why is this important? Its important because We the People are guaranteed the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to petition our federal representatives under the FIRST AMENDMENT. The First Amendment Center provides a fantastic summary of the history of the right to petition here. I highly recommend that you read it. Unless we know where we've BEEN, we cannot substantively lay hold on where we ARE and where we need to GO.

Some history
On July 4, 1776, the country’s Founders adopted a famous statement of principles and list of grievances, declaring that:
"In every state of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

National Emergency: Pandemic, Paranoia or a Coup?

As you all may know, President Obumbler just declared a "National Emergency" under the National Emergencies Act because of the H1N1 (swine) Flu. Apparently, this "emergency" pales in comparison to the virtual insolvency of our national economy, the looming threat of hyper-inflation, the collapse of the dollar, 10% unemployment, the threat of islamic jihad and terrorism, the war in Afghanistan, and the "sticks and stones will break Obama's bones" attacks from Fox News Channel and Rush Limbaugh. Fine. So let's look at it.

In 2009, the WHO reports that the swine flu has claimed a staggering death count of ...... 4,735 lives. GASP!!! In comparison, there have been 16,626 deaths due to car accidents so far this year, and that is a reduction from previous years.

But hey, when it comes to Leftist logic, there isn't any, unless one hears "PpppOoooWwwwEeeRrrrR" whispering in the breeze. Now I don't want to sound like a scare mongering advocate of police state boogeymen, or martial law and black helicopters, driving people to panic like the Alex Jones fringe-kooks. In fact, WorldnetDaily.com did a fine write up on what the "Emergency" is intended to accomplish, at least for now. However, we are not ignorant of Obama and the Left's devices. It behooves us to know of what potential tools for totalitarian power grabs the Chicago Marxist Mafia actually has available to them. to that end, I present to you a handy list of "Things to Watch For In a Declared Emergency" written by Navy veteran Marion Valentine, published by the Canada Free Press. In this article, the author traces the web of Executive Orders signed over the last 30 years, which coupled with the provisions of the Violent Crimes Act, can effectively "with the stroke of a pen, Obama can suspend the Constitution, the Judiciary, Elections and declare himself president for life". Things to watch for during a “Declared National Emergency”

As I predicted—though I was unsure whether it would be the H1N1 virus or the collapse of the dollar—the Communist Puppet would use something to cement his total control over every aspect of our lives.

From the day he took office, Obama and his puppet masters have been building a shadow Government with all power vested in them. The Czars he has appointed, who were not vetted and approved by Congress nor elected, now have the authority to control every aspect of American commerce.

I challenge you to look at the Executive Orders that have been signed over the last 30 years and are still in place. Also carefully read the provisions of the Violent Crime Control Act. They are listed here America In Peril and I include a partial list below.

You will see that with the Executive Orders already in place, combined with the provisions of the Violent Crime Control Act, with the stroke of a pen Obama can suspend the Constitution, the Judiciary, Elections and in effect declare himself president for life.

The next step In the wannabe dictators plan is to declare Martial Law, confiscate all privately owned firearms, round up all dissenters and move them to detention centers. Also there will be detention centers for those who have the H1N1 virus.

A series of Executive Orders, internal governmental departmental laws, unpassed by Congress, the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 and the Violent Crime Control Act of 1991, provides additional powers to the President of the United States, allowing the suspension of the Constitution and Constitutional rights of Americans during a “drug crisis”. It provides for the construction of detention camps, seizure of property, and military control of populated areas, has whittled down Constitutional law substantially. These new Executive Orders and Congressional Acts allow for the construction of concentration camps, suspension of rights and the ability of the President to declare Martial Law in the event of a drug crisis. Congress will have no power to prevent the Martial Law declaration and can only review the process six months after Martial Law has been declared. The most critical Executive Order was issued on August 1, 1971. Nixon signed both a proclamation and Executive Order 11615. Proclamation No. 4074 states, “I hereby declare a national emergency”, thus establishing an economic crisis. That national emergency order has not been rescinded.

This, teamed with the Executive Orders of the President, enables Orwellian prophecies to rest on whomever occupies the White House. The power provided by these “laws” allows suspension of the Constitution and the rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights during any civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes and allows the military to implement government ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels, the arrest of certain unidentified segments of the population, and the imposition of Martial Law.

When the Constitution of the United States was framed it placed the exclusive legislative authority in the hands of Congress and with the President. Article I, Section 1 of the United States Constitution is concise in its language:

“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

That is no longer true. The Bill of Rights protected Americans against loss of freedoms. That is no longer true. The Constitution provided for a balanced separation of powers. That is no longer applicable.

Perhaps it can be summed up succinctly in the words of arch-conservative activist Howard J Ruff:

“Since the enactment of Executive Order 11490, the only thing standing between us and dictatorship is the good character of the President, and the lack of a crisis severe enough that the public would stand still for it.”

Next we will look at all legislation passed or attempted by the dishonest Socialist regardless if they call themselves Progressive, Liberal, Independent, Republican, or Democrat.

Christian Political Correctness is a Spiritual Disorder

I am a Christian. I believe in God; in Jesus, the divine Son of God; in the Holy Spirit who is also God. I also believe in angels; in Satan, the devil, who commands legions of demons. I believe there is a spiritual warfare going on all around us, between them, against us, all the time. There is a war between good and evil, right and wrong, life and death, truth and lies, lawlessness and righteousness, God's glory and man's pride. This warfare plays out on the human canvas across every sphere of human activity: government, culture, society, business, secular and religious institutions, families, marriages, and individual human lives. The war takes place on many levels, global, national, federal, state and local, public and private. There is no place that is not "at war", no area without challenge between God and man, or between man and man.

Lately, that war has also come in the form of Christians armed with the religious equivalent of PC speech codes. Not only are they engaged in self-appointed crusades to silence me (and others). They are also hopelessly bereft of proper discernment as to the "times" we are living in and the dangers we face unless we speak out against the evil that is engulfing us. They embrace an attitude of appeasement as well as isolationist cowardice, both in matters of faith and national security. In my opinion, that confusion is doing harm to the cause of Christ, as well as endangering their families, their communities, and their nation, giving aid and comfort to evil forces arrayed against all of us, Christians as well as non-believers.

Even though I am a Christian, I am also an American. I care for my brothers and sisters in the faith, and also for the safety and well being of my neighbors as much as my own. That's why I speak out on controversial issues, to the end that we might all stand united to confront the dangers before it is too late. And the biggest danger of all that we are facing as a nation, is the righteous wrath of a Holy God whose patience with the wickedness in our land might well be coming to the end of its limits.

What makes this even more difficult is that until recently, being Christian and American weren't in major conflict, at least, not in principle, although sometimes very much so in practice. But times have changed. As King Solomon tells us, "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven". To rightly divide the purposes of God in these difficult times, how we should speak and act as Christians as well as Americans without undermining either one, takes spiritual discernment and dedicated study of the ENTIRETY of God's word, not just those "touchy feely" verses in red. In spite of all their puffed up knowledge of systematic theology, these pesky self-appointed agents of the modern inquisition seem to operate as if the rest of the Bible didn't exist or can be dissected out of context like a frog in a biology class.

Some of my pet peeves are:

a) They have convinced themselves that HOW we speak is more important than WHAT we speak, so as to reduce Christian witness to merely being "loving", "kind" and "compassionate".

b) In order to subvert the TRUTH of what God's word says about how certain temporal social outcomes are achieved, they demand compartmentalization and reinterpretation of God's word;

c) Meritorious Christian service is reduced to merely helping the "poor" and "disadvantaged" (economically or politically), although no one denies that those things are certainly included in our concerns and important.

But who defined temporal poverty as the worst possible destiny of any human being and limited the gospel to social justice? Are they oblivious to the fact that Jesus Himself was "poor", had no place to lay his own head, saying "the poor you shall have with you always, but you will not always have me"? He came to serve the spiritually "poor" in need of eternal redemption and forgiveness, not the financially poor. Did he not clearly rebuke the masses who followed him for free handouts of bread and fish? Did He order the Sanhedrin or the Roman Empire to give free handouts in order to eliminate poverty? And we all know what happened to that thief Judas Iscariot who was always engaged in defending the cause of the "the poor", lest there might be less money for him to steal from the Master's purse. Greed and theft doesn't look promising whether its on the liberal or the conservative political spectrum That is not to say that we should not be concerned at all about the temporal needs of others, but we should be concerned to accurately represent HOW God said those needs would be met, and how HE has met the most important need of all - salvation.

On the other extreme are those who come with the misguided belief that the entire Christian witness is ONLY about preaching "the gospel" according to one sentence in John 3:16. Well, I am all for preaching the gospel - nicely, lovingly, non judgmentally - sharing the good news of God's grace, mercy, redemption and forgiveness. But not by lifting it out of context and to the exclusion of everything else, without ever confronting a wicked culture! Much less are these types of Christians willing to get their hands dirty in the trenches of spiritual warfare raging all around us by confronting the lies and deliberate deceptions raging both within and outside the church.

But it gets worse. In terms of Christian witness, they commit three other grievous errors.

a) First, they elevate "Just Be Nice" to the eleventh commandment at all costs, even if they have to dilute God's truths or sugar coat them to point of meaningless drivel. Style trumps substance. I am reminded of how Jesus' own disciples occasionally worried about whether He had "given offense" when He spoke frankly, bluntly and sometimes even insulted those who deserved it. How often does avoidance of "offense" lead to a duplicitous flattery, which then gives way to compromise? And how often is the true motive driven by an "end justifies the means" mentality, whether the end is a false "unity" in the church, or the "drive by" salvation of individuals? Those type of Christians may boast in growth of numbers and bigger megachurches, but neither do they reveal real fruit in terms of saving faith nor advances the cause of Christ. The evidence is all around us if one but has "eyes to see" and "ears to hear".

b) Second, is that above all, Christians must never ever confront the "powers that be". Politics is verboten (unless they're doing it; more on that in a moment). They simply cannot see how the teachings of Christ and the principles of the ENTIRE bible play out on the temporal stage. I can imagine how these people today would probably have rebuked John the Baptist as a "right winger" for getting in King Herod's face!

c) Whatever end of the political spectrum they come from, right or left (and I have been attacked by both sides), their rebukes are coined as opposition to "God's anointed". Say what? When did an elected President of the United States get elevated to the Messianic office, to supplant the true Messiah, Jesus Christ? Messiah means "God's anointed" and there is only ONE Messiah. Would they have accorded King Herod the status of "God's anointed" too, just because Rome appointed him King, and a party of Jews supported him? ("the Herodians")

In these people's thinking, there's always room for another little "m" messiah, perhaps because they have no clue of that which they speak when they invoke the term "God's anointed". But what they do grasp is he (or she) must defend their chosen "anointed one" at all costs because they stand on their pet Power platform. Power effects Change, you see. Whether its the State or a Party or a Denomination or a Ministry, they all pursue it.

Well, let me ask you this: isn't this "engaging in politics"???? Not by arguing the merits of a principle, a scripture, a policy, a moral standard, or a philosophy, but simply to shut down the opposition to their pet Power. Let me repeat: I heard this from Republicans defending George Bush, and I'm hearing it now from Democrats defending Barack Obama. I've heard it from women defending Joyce Meyer and I've heard it from men defending their exalted Pastor. I've heard it from those that protect a Party, or the "true Church"... and I am SICK OF IT. The capacity for human idolatry never ceases to amaze me.

Well, as a Christian, I believe we are called to testify of WHATEVER God has taught us in the marketplace of ideas, not just a narrow slice of the gospel, social or otherwise. Some things have a temporal application, while others have a spiritual or eternal application, and some may have both. Where there is a lack of understanding of God's holiness, we must preach holiness. Where there is a lack of understanding of sin, we must explain sin. Where there is a lack of understanding with respect to judgment, we must warn of justice, hell and damnation. Where there is lawlessness, we must advocate God's righteous standards thereof. Where there is temporal disorder, chaos, evil and wickedness, we must confront it, not only for the sake of the saved but also for the benefit of common grace on the unsaved! And so on.

I refuse to apply a "one size fits all" level of discernment to distinguish between those things. Nor am I willing to ignore where my witness as a Christian lies, overlaps with, or ends, with respect to my civil duty as an American. I am very cognizant of the fact that it takes the Spirit of God to empower us to think with the "mind of Christ", precisely because of what King Solomon said: "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:". I do not presume to know within my own limited resources, or my own puny human mind, how to rightly divide those things apart from the word of God and the Spirit who illuminates its meaning. Nor do I shirk either my responsibility or my desire to serve God as He has commanded.... to bring Him into view accurately in all of His glorious facets, the way a telescope allows us to view Jupiter in all its glory. "O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together." (Psalm 34:3)

Frankly, that's why I think that the need to sugar coat God's word in order to not risk giving offense is ridiculous. Part of the glory magnified by God's gospel consists in its offense; As Paul said 2 Cor. 2:16 "For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life." The gospel's fragrance is in the Nose of the Beholder, so to speak. Christ's own death proves it, and yet nothing in the ugliness of His death "offended" away " "as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed" (Acts 13:48) Jesus said "No man can come to me, except the Father which sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:44) and taught that "no one can see or enter the kingdom of heaven unless they were born of the Spirit" (John 3). Will failure to sugar coat the ugly truths of man's wickedness deter the Father's eternal plan of salvation? The Spirit's regenerating work? NO. God is sovereign in both the conception and the realization of His redemptive plan! "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out"... "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day." (John 6:37,39) From election in eternity before the foundation of the world, to the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, to the final resurrection, God's plan is sure, notwithstanding our lack of finesse with words. He will not lose a single one of HIS sheep.

That's why King Solomon said, "there is a purpose to EVERY season under heaven"... including war, hate, silence, death, refrain from embracing.... "negative" things, too. Who would have thought that these too would be included in the purposes of God? "ALL things work together for good to those who love God, who are called according to His purpose..." (Romans 8:28) This is not a "one size fits all" promise, it is specifically to the CALLED according to His purpose, who love God! And this is why our Lord Jesus Christ calls us to exercise spiritual discernment according to His word, and not to simplistically apply a "one size fits all" approach to life. As God works together in ALL things, we also CAN and MUST glorify Him in ALL circumstances and in all that we say in His name.

This is precisely what Jesus commanded. Forty days AFTER His resurrection from the dead, after He had spent that time instructing His disciples, do you know what were the last commands that Jesus Christ gave before His ascension into heaven? In Matthew 28:18-20, He
said:"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Allow me to repeat that last part: "...teaching them (the nations) to observe ALL THINGS that I have commanded you"... Now, I have not been called to preach, teach, baptize, or plant churches. But all believers are called to plant truth, to stand as a witness of ALL that God has said, not just the gospel.

But here come the Christian PC police.... clop clop clop... wielding their unloving accusations "in love", passing judgment on those they accuse of being "unloving" and "judgmental" when we engage the war zone. Here they come, hiding their real intentions: to silence and shut down any opposition to what they themselves approve, without knowledge of law, history, facts, or scriptures, applied in the proper context that might enlighten them otherwise. The hypocrisy is mind numbing.

America Returns to Egyptian Slavery

Today I received the following email, and thought it was worthy of sharing. This blog stands as a testimony to two truths; one is that we are being reduced to slavery by a tyrannical out of control government usurped by those who have rejected God and the foundations of this Republic. The second is that God Himself is the one allowing them to do it. The God who endowed us with life, liberty, property, prosperity and blessing is also able to withdraw it. It is also a "self evident truth" that those who reject the mercies of God, reap the justice of God. America has become a cult nation. Here is a wonderful example of a preacher demonstrating all of the above:

VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE -STIMULUS SERMON given by a Pastor of a predominantly black church in Virginia. This guy is obviously a leader and not one of the sheep. It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.

Genesis 47:13-27

"Good morning, brothers and sisters; It's always a delight to see the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into God's Word. So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again.

So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year..

But the famine wasn't over, was it?

So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh." So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain.

What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?

That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?

Yes.

But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God provided for His people, just as always has! They didn't end up giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained possessions!

But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.

What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same.

And a lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?

Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr.. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.

Bow with me in prayer, if you will:

Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government."

America Commits National Suicide or is it Euthanasia?

A couple of years ago, I was contemplating why the American people were blind or ignorant of the many evidences of a design to reduce our nation to despotism from within and betray us to our enemies without. As obvious as it has been for so long, I simply concluded that they must be brain dead. So I made this observation:

"Are we just too dumb to live?! Well, it is an ancient truth that "we reap what we sow". Let's remember what the American people said about Terri Schiavo. "She's too dumb to live".... and demanded death with dignity, the right to die. Isn't that what Harry Reid and his merry band of Democrat traitors are trying to accomplish? National death with dignity, a/k/a SURRENDER? Well, "right to die" Americans, its your turn now. YOU'VE DEEMED YOURSELVES TOO DUMB TO LIVE. When you a employ a lie to kill, don't be surprised if God Almighty let's you die by it. My only complaint is that the rest of us, and your children, might have to die with you. The only prayer I have left for you is that you'll wake up and fight back for their sakes."

Yes, when I remembered that the American people had given their consent to the government to deliberately murder Terri Schiavo in her bed, and gave government the power to Play God, deciding who lives and who dies, I knew it was just a matter of time before they would reap what they sowed. And now they are... on multiple fronts. Government is stepping in to enslave them on every side. Terrorist plots active from coast to coast, sea to shining sea. A president who aspires to global dominance selling out our sovereignty to the United Nations while he betrays our nuclear defense, and that of our allies. Didn't the same public that clamored for Terri's death, give Democrats the power to destroy our national security in time of war, undermining the commander in chief while troops were fighting and dying? Didn't they demand that terrorists, enemy combatant captured in the war zone, be treated with more dignity and human rights than a fellow disabled citizen? So much for the "inalienable right to life". Oh, the stupidity and futility of it all! How long before law enforcement is overwhelmed chasing cell groups of invaders here at home, while our military troops are utterly demoralized reading Miranda rights to our enemies on foreign battlefields? Chasing windmills in the name of "politically correct" rights, willing to elect despots who are stealing our own liberties, bringing destruction on their own heads. Its so insane, but its what the American people voted for.

Well, when I originally wrote my post, I hoped that people would wake up and fight back. Judging by the town hall meetings, the tea parties in Washington and all across the continent. it does seem that a lot of people are waking up and fighting back. But wait... doesn't it sound as if they are fighting to save their rights, for the sake of their own skins? That was something Terri, and 45 million aborted children, were helpless to do.

Sorry folks, but my compassion is a quart low. I don't hear national REPENTANCE from that death obsessed society yet; I only hear "save my OWN skin", "I demand my rights"!! Those who seek mercy will find it at the cross of Christ, but not without repentance. Wellllll...my guess is that nothing will change nationally without repentance either. This was a nation that was birthed with the concept that those rights didn't come from the government in the first place. They were endowed by our Creator. When will they consider that the same God who granted those rights can also revoke them? When will they realize that the same God that blessed America might also be willing to curse it?

Do Americans think they are more special than Israel, who repeatedly was conquered, destroyed, exiled, and enslaved for generations for apostasy against this same God? Islamic jihad today has nothing over the invasion of Israel by the Assyrians and the Babylonians. But God taught them how to seek His face in repentance after they were conquered and enslaved. Christians get all mushy faced when they quote that verse fromJeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." But do they stop to consider that this was a promsie that God made to the captives in Babylon AFTER they had lost their freedom, their property, their children, their temple and their nation? Yes, God will hear the prayers of HIS PEOPLE when they REPENT. And this is a nation that needs to repent of genocidal violations against LIFE, LIBERTY, PROPERTY and the WORSHIP of the only true and living God, or suffer the same fate. The founders appealed their cause to the "Supreme Ruler of the Universe" and prevailed. Unless we do likewise, we won't fare any better than ancient Israel.

Beware the Cult of Emperor Worship

Has anyone ever noticed that liberal Christians, what I call the "religious left" (but not necessarily the political left) all share an "exclusive" kind of love for all those parables. Notice how they treat the "words in red" as if the rest of the scriptures don't apply to them, or just dismiss them altogether? All to teach the rest of us a) how bigoted and narrow minded we are, and b) why we should support enforced charity (redistribution of wealth from our pockets to theirs). Take for example, our President Barack Obama, who once treated the Sermon on the Mount as political fodder for his Marxist agenda, or those "Gay" Republicans at the Log Cabin club.

Consider what Jesus said in Matthew 13:9-16 (NKJV) about WHY that is...

9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

(HEAR WHAT? the purpose of parables)

10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. 12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

Well, well. Jesus speaking in parables in order to ENSURE that people WON'T understand His word? So that He is JUSTIFIED in NOT HEALING them? Doesn't that just go against everything today's namby pamby "churchianity" teaches?! No. FAITH IS THE GIFT OF GOD, and not of WORKS, lest any man should boast". (Ephesians 2:8-9) But these wolves turn it into a gospel of works, usually enforced by the powerful fist of government. And therein is the key to understanding their depravity. Woe! on those who compromise the faith to serve those who worship the State. Rightly did Jesus describe this in the letter to the church at Pergamos, "where Satan dwells". Pergamos was where the cult of emperor worship was centered, and the temple to the emperor was located.

Two millenia later, are we any different? The gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ has been preached for four hundred years to this people, just like it had been in Jesus' day. They've heard it, they've rejected it, and they persist in the hardness of their unrepentant hearts. They persecute and hate Christ and those who are faithful to His word. That's why it can be said that those people who abuse and misuse the scriptures to advance another agenda, are doing SATAN's work. When Satan tempted Christ in the wilderness after his baptism in the River Jordan, he used scripture to do it. Beware of WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

Beware of the lying wolf, currently the occupant in the White House, who is reviving the cult of emperor worship right before our eyes.

Of course, the fly in the ointment is that the Bush administration was pursuing "ENEMY COMBATANTS" engaged in acts of terrorism captured in FOREIGN WAR ZONES. Bush defined his activities as an "act of war", acting under his authority as commander of chief of the military forces as granted to him under the United States Constitution. But Democrats/liberals had no use for that, could not see an attack on American soil at the heart of our MILITARY DEFENSE headquarters (also, the USS Cole, two U.S. embassies and military barracks in Saudi Arabla) as ACTS OF WAR. instead, they were inspiring the anti-war fruitcakes to UNDERMINE the war, undermine troop morale, give aid and comfort to our enemies, and we even heard the Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid declare "the war is lost" BEFORE the surge that WON IT. All of this TREASON was directed toward the goal of pushing the war into a CIVILIAN law enforcement action (and if I may engage in a little bit of Obammunista demonizing, add ...."in order to line the pocket and profits of greedy ACLU lawyers"). On THAT misguided and illegitimate basis, converting a WAR into a LAW ENFORCEMENT action, this policy now becomes every bit the danger to the CIVIL LIBERTIES of every American citizen while giving aid and comfort to TERRORISTS AND ENEMIES OF AMERICA.

Aside from expertly illustrating that Obama is a lying snake who speaks out both sides of his mouth, Maddow really exposes the darkness at the heart of his despotic agenda. Personally, I don't think it is Muslim jihadists that his "preventive detention" plans are focused on. More like ... "tea baggers?", "alleged racists?", "constitutionalists?", "tenthers"? Camille Paglia appeared on NPR's "On Point," delivering a rather vigorous defense of the so-called "Birthers" in response to a caller's attempt to portray "Where is the birth certificate" signs spotted at the 9/12 D.C. protest as racist. From the interview:
"First of all, I reject the idea that the "birther" campaign is motivated by racism. There may be racism among it, but there are legitimate questions about the documentation of Obama's birth certificate. I'm sorry, I've been following this closely from the start. To assume that all those signs about the birth controversy were motivated by racism, that is simply wrong. "

Sadly, too many conservatives, some of whom I fervently admire, are in some kind of weird denial about the issue. Or they only refer to the birth certificate as belonging in the province of loonies. Really? Over 200 military "loonies", including active duty, are questioning it too. Don't they have a right to know? The issue is pertinent if only because Obama is spending so much money and effort to PREVENT the release of the vault certificate held by the State of Hawaii, and the judicial establishment is spewing a constant stream of "the public has no right to know" decisions. Really? What exactly DOESN'T the public have a right to know about our elected officials?!
