ProgDVB is a free program to view and listen to radio channels from satellite , very stable, it advantageously replaces sometimes complicated programs originally supplied with satellite TV cards. Note that ProgDVB is compatible with virtually all

After installing ProgDVB, start the software.

NB: for the intel you need to download a special executable "ProgDVB.exe" for intel (the official site) and you change the executable to C: \ ProgDVB \ necessary for the stability of the software.

3 - Select the language

Click settings> Language> English.

4 - Select your satellite map ProgDVB:

If you have chosen a satellite map when installing this step is not necessary for you if not click Settings> Feature List

Select your card from the list of satellite satellite maps, then click "Start" and then "ok"

5 - Configuring DiSEqC and LNB

A critical task for ProgDVB works well is the DiSEqC configuration settings that you connect one or more LNB to your DVB card (more than one LNB DiSEqC requires a connector). A configuration must be performed for each LNB connected to the card (LOF1 values, SWITCH, and LOF2).

NB: there's satellite maps which supports a single LNB

If you have an LNB connected to your DVB card, select "None" in the DiSEqC section. If you connect multiple satellite / LNB to your card, select "1.0 OR 2.0" in DiSEqC section.

Click on a green dot for "ADD LNB" or select one already there LNB and click "Properties" to configure it.

Select a satellite and click ok

Many satellites use the following values (in the screen shot).

LNB POWER: To check if your receiver powers the LNB (99% of cases).

For other Echostar and Nimiq satellites such, the values to be used are:

Type: Ku-band or circular

LOF1: 11250

SWITCH: 12700

LOF2: 0

Click OK

6 - Scan a satellite or transponder:

The easiest is to have a "channel list" with all reported channels: click here to download it when you download unzip "C: \ ProgDVB \ Channels" (it should turn off and then turn it on ProgDVB )

Time shift buffer (timeshifting)

This feature will allow you to see a live show, and pause, and restart later. For example, Pauses the program, will answer the phone, go back and continue to watch your show. ProgDVB uses a buffer (hard disk space or memory) to store the program.

Note that if you Pauses long, you'll need a larger buffer.

TV program guide and recording emissions:

click on the "1" icon to view the program guide (it is not available on all channels)

click on the "2" icon to start recording a program format "MPEG" the recording will be done by default in "C: \ ProgDVB", if you want to record sound (for music channels by example) click Service> recording option and then click recording Format for cannaux TV and choose mpa

The least we can say is that the last minutes of Assassin's Creed we had left our hunger. Obviously, anyone who loved diving in the Italy of the Renaissance in Florence along with the fop will be pleased to discover the rest of his adventures in Rome. From the outset, it is quickly absorbed by a well done story that multiplies the twists and chains of varying sequences that start very well this new adventure. Alas, after a convincing start, Brotherhood tends to dawdle slightly and we shall mainly deal with situations rather familiar sounding sometimes like repetition of the previous section. Staging of the many cut-scenes, themes, characters crossed ... It sometimes feels a little too comfortable in a frame that lacks a little pace in the medium term. Fortunately, approaching its denouement, in particular through parallels with Desmond's future / present (playable several times in the game), rushing things again and it takes a liking to follow a typical scenario, but enhanced with a few surprises that will titillate the fans.

It has escaped no one, Brotherhood turns his back to Florence, Venice and company to take us to Rome, period. For the first time in the series, the adventure has thus only one playing area (main). Fans should not shun this reunion with Ezio especially as Brotherhood also introduces a new size: A multiplayer terribly well thought out, catchy and exciting. If this result is less surprising and baffling than its predecessors in their time, it remains a ruthless efficiency, sharpened like the blade of his secret heroes.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty - Patch 1.3.0

Announced long, the 1.3 patch for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty was released last night - one can just run the game for the update.

Besides bug fixes, many, such patch adjusts some game balance and, as usual, some breeds do better than others. At this game, the Protoss lost the amulet Senior Templars and the vortex of Mothership, misused with the Archons in particular, has been modified. General

Leagues & Ladders
A new Grandmaster League has been added for 1v1 ladders. This league represents the Top 200 players in each region.
Players are automatically drafted into the Grandmaster League shortly after a new season starts, and will remain in the Grandmaster League until the end of the season. If a Grandmaster player's available bonus points get too high due to inactivity, they will be automatically removed from the league and a replacement player will be drafted in.
The Grandmaster League can be viewed by all players through the new Leagues & Ladders > Grandmaster page.
The bonus pool has been reduced for arranged teams.
Leagues will now be locked during the final weeks of the season. As a result players will not accumulate additional bonus points and will not be promoted or demoted out of their current division during this period.
This will allow players to focus on moving up in their current league without being promoted during the final weeks of a season, and having to fight their way up from the bottom ranks of their new higher league.
Players can still utilize any bonus points they previously accumulated.
The hidden ratings used to determine player promotions and demotions will continue to update during the lock; however, these ratings will only be used for match-making until the new season begins.
Ladder data from the prior season can be viewed through the new Leagues & Ladders > Last Season page.
New league icons have been introduced to indicate division rank. These will indicate the Top 8, 25 and 50 players in each division.
Loss counts are no longer displayed in Profile and Ladder pages for players below Master League.

Observer and Replay UI
New panels are now available when observing or viewing a replay of 1v1 games. These panels can be toggled via hotkeys which are shown under the Leader Panel drop-down.
Player Name Panel: Displays the players' name, team color, race, and supply count.
Stat Comparison Panels: Shows a head-to-head comparison of players' resources, army supply, units killed, or APM.
In 1v1 observed games, both players' resource rows are shown in the upper right at the same time.
The main game UI can now be hidden/shown via hotkey.
You can now toggle between player unit colors and team unit colors when watching a replay or observing.

Game Options
A new Control page is available from the Options menu. You'll find Mouse, Keyboard and Scrolling options within this new page.
A new menu option is available in the Gameplay page to change the behavior of Control Group Buttons. These can now be set to ignore mouse clicks or be hidden completely.
The existing menu option under the Gameplay page for Menu Bar Buttons now also supports hiding the Menu Bar.

Balance

General
Players can no longer hide units by setting them in a close proximity patrol (ex: Viking flower).

Protoss
Mothership : Units leaving the Mothership's Vortex are now un-targetable and immune to damage for 1.5 seconds.
High Templar : Khaydarin Amulet upgrade (+25 starting energy) has been removed.
Zealot : Charging Zealots will now hit fleeing targets at least once.

Terran
Battlecruiser : Movement speed increased from 1.406 to 1.875.
Bunker : Build time increased from 35 to 40 seconds.

StarCraft II Editor Improvements
Reworked Game Variants dialog to be more user-friendly:
General tab has been removed. This text did not appear anywhere in game.
Attributes tab has been split into Game Attributes and Player Attributes.
Attribute UI now more closely reflects the game lobby.
Default values are now enforced as necessary based on Player Properties.
In some cases, variants defined in previous versions will no longer be compatible and may cause problems during publishing or within the game lobby. If you are planning to republish a map that uses custom game variants, it is highly recommended that you use the new Game Variants dialog to delete and recreate them.
Improved loading times for some custom maps with complex tech restrictions.

The integrity of your data (USB Flash Drive) is continually being monitored by PenProtect.

To protect the data, there are two possibilities: a "Partial" or a "Total" protection. The "Total" protection option is extremely innovative. Before and after encryption, it analyzes each USB Flash Drive in order to eliminate any file traces. During this process PenProtect program uses a specifically created algorithm. The "Partial" protection option requires about half the time of the "Total" one, but your data protection is not 100% secure.

WinCSC (Newcamd) is a small plugin we can use it in ProgDVB or DVBDream

this plugin decode keys for all crypt's channels.

Let's go to the tutorial,

Firstly, you need to download and to install it in tour desktop

Crysis 2 arrives on consoles and PC March 22, but Electronic Arts and Crytek hope to give players a sample of this big bad first person shooter with an Xbox Live exclusive multiplayer demo, launching January 25. Here’s what you can expect.

Much like the single player campaign, the Crysis 2 demo takes place in a war torn Manhattan. Two teams of six players battle to see which side can score the most kills, blasting each other with automatic rifles, a shotgun, rocket launcher and other weapons.
In addition, they’ll harness the abilities of the Nanosuit, a highly advanced piece of tech that imbues the user with special abilities, one of which lets them temporarily cloak to evade gunfire or get the drop on enemies, sneaking up behind and then putting a well deserved bullet in their heads.
On top of that, the suit gives players super strength. Enhanced armor allows them to deflect bullets for a limited amount of time, while a ground pound maneuver takes out multiple opponents at once. Meanwhile, gamers can use the environment to their advantage by kicking cars and other objects off ledges to squash rivals.
Super speed also plays a huge role in combat, as players go into a slide to dodge rockets while gunning down enemies. It sort of reminds us of Sega’s Vanquish.
That said, verticality is by far the demo’s coolest feature. Instead of jumping to your death, you’re able to leap off a skyscraper and plummet hundreds of feet to the ground below, landing relatively unharmed. Not only does it look cool, but it also provides a quick means of escape.

From what we’ve seen, you’ll need all of this and more to emerge victorious. The demo comes with two modes: Team Instant Action and Crash Site. The former is your standard Team Deathmatch, while the latter challenges you to guard alien pods.
As for the map, Skyline features NYC at its worst, with wrecked buildings, abandoned cars, glass and other busted pieces of junk. Should be the perfect environment for some post apocalyptic bliss.
Of course, the retail version will have a more robust multiplayer experience, but for now, we can’t wait to frag other players in the demo. The only downside? PC and PS3 owners won’t be able to do the same. Expect detailed impressions shortly following its release.

Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 is an amazing game. I'm going to write about its scary moments, cool kills, and how much I dig the main character's internal struggle, but Dead Space 2 is about more than this. When I beat it for the first time, I sat on the couch with my heart racing and dissected the journey I had just taken. Then, I started my second playthrough, and when that was done, I jumped into a new game for the third time. Dead Space 2 is just that good.

It's been three years since the events of the first game, but protagonist Isaac Clarke still can't catch a break. At the beginning of Dead Space 2, he wakes on a space station known as the Sprawl and finds the place is overwhelmed by an outbreak of reanimated corpses called Necromorphs. From the very first moment of the game, Isaac's fighting for his life.

This is where you come in. As Isaac, you'll pick up your plasma cutter, don an engineering suit and take the fight to the beasts out to kill you. The overarching goal is to find and destroy the religious idol (known as the Marker) causing all of this, but the story that makes Dead Space 2 great is the internal war Isaac's fighting. Unlike Uncharted's Nathan Drake who can kill a few hundred pirates and never seem worn down by it, Isaac is totally ruined by the events of the original Dead Space. He saw things no man should have to during his time on the spaceship USG Ishimura, but it's the fact that Isaac's girlfriend died on the vessel after he encouraged her to work there that really haunts him.

Isaac's losing his mind in Dead Space 2. The guilt is tearing his very sanity apart. That's heavy stuff and it makes for a really engaging story. Isaac doesn't let anyone else in on the fact that he's coming unglued, so as a player I get to see who he really is and the facade he presents to the other characters. Isaac's internal conversations and hallucinations are among my favorite parts of this game.

But I have lots of favorite parts to Dead Space 2. Right behind Isaac's struggle on my list of cool stuff is the combat. It's more satisfying than it was in the original. Isaac's fast and light on his feet. You can stomp crates in a jiff and melee attack bodies for loot, grabbing things with your telekinesis is responsive, and mixing all of this together with the different weapons in the game is a blast. Slowing down a Necromorph, blowing off its arm, and using the severed limb to impale the foe on a wall is a thing of beauty that doesn't get old.

Dead Space 2 is pretty much the best haunted house attraction ever. Visceral stripped out the stuff that slowed down the original game (backtracking, getting disoriented, etc.) and ended up with a fast-paced game that's suspenseful and scary at the same time. You're funneled down these halls and corridors on your way from Point A to Point B, and ghouls pop out for you to blast. I know that "linear" is a bad word in the video game industry, but the package is so well done here that I can't knock Dead Space 2 for taking me on a very specific ride that's marked by awesome moments, environments that range from a cheery schoolhouse to pitch black rooms, and sound that's so well done I'd find myself trying to figure out if it was a monster making its move or my dog rummaging in the living room. Toss in some new disturbing enemies and surprises I won't ruin for you and you have a game that can feel like "the same old thing" at times but becomes much more than that as a whole.

I've already said that I've played the game over and over, so it's important to point out that no ride needs to be the same. Dead Space packs returning weapons such as the saw blade-spitting Ripper as well as brand new items like the Detonator and its trip mines. Each of these weapons -- along with your suit, telekinesis and stasis module -- can be upgraded for maximum ass-kicking, and then the progress can be saved and carried over to your next playthrough. These options and rewards are what kept me wanting to come back. There are tons of new suits (with new bonuses) to unlock and I always wanted to see what my next pimped-out weapon could do.

My desire to jump back in really speaks to the shift in Isaac's perspective this time around. Some fans threw hissy fits when Visceral said that there'd be more action in Dead Space 2, but it works and I love it. Isaac feels like a badass here, and he should. He's fought these monsters before and he's used these weapons before. The first game was a scared engineer tossed into hell. The second game is a guy who's lost everything to these monsters and really has nothing left to lose so hell yes he'll put his life on the line and shoot out an airlock if it means killing seven Necromorphs at once. Isaac is stronger here and I feel stronger playing as him.

If you're truly devoted like myself, there's even a mode known as "Hardcore," and it's nothing less than sadistic. The enemies are at their toughest, the supplies are limited, there are no checkpoints, and if you die, you restart from your last save. Oh, and you can only save three times in the entire game. That's crazy talk, but damn, do I want to do it.

As much fun as all that is, the "go here and do this" structure does hamper the overarching story. The part about Isaac wrestling his demons is awesome, but the narrative driving the search for the Marker is a bit flat in comparison. Different characters are just popping up to tell you to go there and do that. I wouldn't have a problem with this structure if it ended with Isaac learning something or maturing as a protagonist, but we never get that moment where he takes charge of his own fate. He's always being pushed somewhere by someone.

Another stumble is multiplayer. I've played all of the game's five modes/maps, and none of them did anything for me. Players are broken into two teams: the humans have an objective and the Necromorphs are out to stop them at all costs. As a human, I'd run to an objective, hold out for as long as I could, and then get killed. As a Necromorph, I'd hope my minimal amount of damage dealt killed a weaken opponent or set the kill up for a friend. The pacing and vague objectives really didn't equate to fun. This isn't want I want out of a Dead Space experience.

Luckily, as I hope I've already driven home, Dead Space 2's single-player is so good, you shouldn't question picking this game up.

The second part of our sit-down interview with Lead Level Designer Rex Dixon from Kaos Studios on their upcoming first-person shooter, Homefront.

Dakota Grabowski: When you go about creating this level, what’s your biggest level size in terms of square feet?
Rex Dixon: We have one level that’s bigger than the others because it’s a vehicle-based level so that would be probably our biggest. Most of the levels take about 35-40 minutes to play through on average.
DG: And that’s on, of course, that’s normal difficulty.
RD: Yeah.

DG: How do you scale the difficulty level? It is based on more intelligent A.I., more enemies, more accurate enemies?
RD: There’s a combination of things that we mess around with. Enemy accuracy is one, player health regeneration rate is another. One thing we don’t get into is affecting the player’s weapons at all. We don’t want to take away any skill that somebody might have with the controller in order to balance difficulty. We feel like the best model out there is Rainbow Six: Terrorist Hunt. The hard difficulty feels about what we want where you can take one hit, but that’s pretty much it. After that, you have to get to cover and regenerate your health. We have a bunch of different dials we can turn, and we selectively pick and choose which ones we want to turn and which ones feel right. Sometimes we’ll try something and it doesn’t feel right and we’ll turn it back and try something else.
DG: In terms of the levels, what cities that you can speak of are you already visiting? I know Colorado is in this one.
RD: Yeah. Pretty much the first half of the game takes place in Montrose, Colorado and then after that we move into sort of the No Man’s Land between Colorado and the West Coast. I believe some of it takes place in Nevada, some of it takes place in the lowlands west of Colorado. You’ll get to see these big, more open environments where the Koreans don’t control it so much as it’s sort of in-between space. What’s interesting about those spaces is that they’re actually controlled by civilians, but civilians that have turned into survivalist gangs and who are antagonistic towards anyone who steps on their territory because, in the world of Homefront, resources are very valuable. Food, gas, anything. Anyone who has these resources fiercely protects them. They don’t care if you’re American or Korean. If you come on their land, they’ll shoot you. We get into some spaces like that and then, in the final mission, we get to San Francisco and we join that battle.
DG: Start moving West Coast towards where Korea is actually occupied first.
RD: Yes, correct.
DG: So you’re actually going right towards battle rather than escaping it.
RD: Their motivation in this game is to just win one battle to get a foothold so that any remnants of the U.S. military can have some starting-off point to take back the country.

DG: What’s happening on the East Coast?
RD: What we know about the East Coast is only that they’ve irradiated the Mississippi with radiation so that nobody can really cross from east to west. From the characters who exist on the West Coast, in Colorado, they don’t know what’s happening in New York. In fact, nobody knows and the reason we’re sort of leaving that open is because that might be where we want to invest in our sequel. We want to leave it wide open to interpretation.

DG: And with the main character, is this the same character who’s going to show up in the book?
RD: I don’t know the answer to that. I haven’t read the brief for the book yet, unfortunately.
DG: Is the book set to release with the game?
RD: I think it comes out a little early. I couldn’t give you a direct quote, but I think it’s January-February.

Disney has finally announced the fourth installment of “Pirates Of The Caribbean.” Film number-four will be titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and it will be released in the summer of 2011.
The company made the announcement with Johnny Depp at the D23 Expo. Johnny Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow, sailed onstage in a pirate ship. He staggered around the stage before hugging Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook, who told the audience of 5,000 fans about the next instalment.
“On Stranger Tides” is a fantasy book that won the Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel in 1988 and was also nominated for The World Fantasy award.
In the book, originally published in 1988, the main character is also named Jack (Shandy) who tries to find the Fountain of Youth which was rumored title of the fourth installment.
