I had the same issue in my 2012 - it was noted back in 2016, I believe - with about $14,000 miles on it. The dealer did replace based on the recall - and re-did pistons, rings, valve cover, etc. I confirmed by an oil consumption test and fully covered under warranty.

NOW - here in September, 2021 - I was driving and had the same issue, misfire in Cylinder 1 - pulled the plug, definitely fouled, and swapped and it's running fine.

Do you guys think even though the dealer replaced everything...the cylinder compression could be shot? I would think with the full re-build it would fix the situation. Just an update - current mileage 136,200 and I did a full spark plug replacement at 90k miles. Unless it's normal for a plug to get fouled after 40k miles?
Statistics: Posted by NCSU1500 — Yesterday, 7:58pm

This site is very useful. You can at least compare tire sizes which will help if you know how much clearance there is with the stock tires.

https://tiresize.com/comparison/
Statistics: Posted by GBSierraSLE — Yesterday, 7:54pm

Ok the 2021 and 2022 are the same truck pretty much. I am running stock 18rims. I will be installing a 1.5-2 RC leveling kit. Want to run 295/70-18's. Just don't want to worry about rubbing?
Statistics: Posted by x2ryder — Yesterday, 7:51pm
