Babe has 10 Drydock puppies

Just a quick announcement since I need to get to NY to visit a friend or two. Ten puppies... 7 f, 3 m Doing great. Bellies full (plenty of milk already!) and are beginning to poop! Babe xrayed all clear. She is eating and pottying. This is the "Water Ways" theme litter: Drydock Canoe to Silverhill... Row to Silverhill... Surf... Kayak... Swim... Raft... Paddle... Scuba... etc I'm assuming one of the males will be Swim.... aka "Phelps" : )

Sydney needs a new home asap

The story is that Stephen is going through a divorce and when deployed, he won't have a way to take care of her. He is to be deployed in less than a month and his x-wife is not able to take her either. He says that Sydney is so sweet it would kill me to have to put her down. One Champion finished and another started

Hi all. this past weekend Babe became Champion Windrifts' Broadway Babe on Saturday and on Sunday her half sister, SilverHill's Ruby Cross Creek beat her and started her career towards her Championship with a Major and BOS! Boy did the compliments on her ring presence and beauty come in, so I guess she looked pretty good in the ring and will finish easily. Starting off with a major over specials was very nice!

Only 2 boys, but both are doing well: Unfortunately, neither pup survived the first week. Apparently their development was not enough to sustain life.

Carsten is doing therapy work too!

Carsten (Shaka x Katy kid) is waiting to become a little more seasoned as a Therapy dog before calling the TV stations. The more positive press Rottweiler's can get, the better. Amy included a few pictures. With HIPPA laws now it is harder to get pictures. Amy is hoping to be able to take some pictures in the Pediatrics Oncology unit and at the library. Carsten is working in active rehab. He will be doing some retrieving of items thrown by patients, following commands (voice therapy) walking by walkers, offering emotional support and helping to build confidence. It is an important job for such a young boy but Amy believes he is up to the task. He is becoming quite popular with the staff as well. They will stop him in the halls and ask him to play dead or roll over. Some walk past and ask him for a high five. He is always willing to show off.. Amy and Carsten.

Ch SilverHills Madera was bred to V-1 Ch Hutsch vom House Birk, SchHIII, AD, Gekort bis Eza - (frozen semen) on Jan 22, 2009 with pups due date March 26th and going home at 7 weeks puts the date as around late May. In 1998 Hutsch is one of only 3 males that passed the lifetime Korong in Germany.
