Comeback

2016-03-24T04:23:00.001+08:00

It has been more than a month since my last entry here. And I really miss the feeling of making a post for you guys. A lot happened in the first 3 months of my 2016 and let me unfold them to you as I do my comeback here in my blog. You know, things you love will always pull you in together, after being lost for quite a while.

I shall catch up all my kwentos as I move forward. For now, let me do my comeback post with a brand new ootd! Summer is my favorite season and obviously, I have been wearing a lot of hippie/boho chic outfits lately. You may follow me on instagram for the bits and pieces of my daily life @simonesfashioncloset

I happened to just randomly put together this outfit. I saw this romper (from Simone's Closet) in my closet, and paired it with our newest knit vest and strap on my tall sandals and voila!

I just love the coachella vibes! :)

Down The Road

2016-01-13T01:01:00.002+08:00

It has been almost 2 years already when I learned how to drive. And let me tell you that I enjoy driving because I get to go places whenever I want to. Well if province na, mejo di pa keri ng powers. For now I am exploring Manila and the nearby provinces. So the latest I have been to is in Antipolo. I very much like the place especially the roads, bihira ang kotse, plus the weather is cold, and maganda ang view, hence, this OOTD post! Swear it as very enjoying doing this set, very rare dumaan ang mga cars. :)

How are you guys doing so far? :)

I am really not a fan of anything bodyfit but this one is an exception. I just like the way it flatters my figure and not too clingy to reveal my flabs (yes I have haha). And not to mention the color is so versatile you can style it so many ways!

I am excited to play around with this piece! You may shop this dress for P390 only in Simone's Closet's ETHNICITY COLLECTION! :)

I don't know why I am a having hard time letting go of my long locks. Back then it was easy. It's a cycle: when my hair is short, I'll grow it long, when it's long, I want it cut...so short then repeat. But this year is different. I decided to stay long. Maybe because my deep love for boho makes me feel secured with my long hair despite the fact that is not easy to take care (shampoo, treatments, hair colors, trim). Decided to bring my full blunt bangs as well, for a change. I don't know but a full bangs just changes your aura, and I am keeping it again.

For colors, I went for a golden dark blonde ombre. I just love the darker bangs looking great with my golden locks. As per the curls of my hair? It just went natural. I haven't had it permed for 3 years already but it grows curly each day! I can't wait to learn to do more braids for a quick change at times. :)

There's a lot of reason to quit but only one reason to continue, and that is, we wake up each day for another chance. This 2016, I am doing more of what makes me happy, irregardless of what other people will say. The past years have always been about making others happy, this year, I am dedicating it to making time for myself, to enjoy every bit of chance. I worked hard for the past years, and I am hoping by today, I got more time to spend doing new things, taking more chances, and doing more adventures!

And to begin my goals, I am keeping this online journal close to me. I hope you missed me so much! I'll try to keep this active and interesting as much as I can! May I fill this blog with new, exciting, and happy contents!

Keep Walking

2015-10-17T18:56:00.001+08:00

My life as a 27 year-old career woman and a mother is really a hella busy one! And I am lucky to have one day in a week to spend for what I love doing most... driving to a place where I can walk, eat, and take my photos. Glad to be back again in Marikina City last Monday. I spent my high school days there for almost 5 years. Will share with you a short photo diary up next! <3 nbsp="" p="">

Stop Think

2015-09-20T21:47:00.001+08:00

Honestly speaking, my life right now is really a big change from the life I had 2-3 years back then. Precisely because, I welcomed more challenges now than I ever think I could handle. I took risks more than the safe chances I could have. I may be busy and making some sacrifices here and there, but they're all worth it.

I STOPPED AND THINK,..if I didnt embraced my fears, the challenges and the risks, would I be ever walking towards my dreams? NO. I am pretty sure I am still standing on the same ground. :)

Limbaga 77

2015-09-01T09:52:00.001+08:00

Our family really loves to eat! well who isn't right? :) just recently when we discovered this home-y resto in the heart of QC! It was on my mother's birthday when we dined here.

LIMBAGA 77 is Filipino restaurant located inside the residential street of Scout Limbaga in Timog Quezon City. We just love the homey feel, plus they have a free and safe valet parking. You get down in the front, and when you're done eating, you'll see your car waiting for you outside! Plus not the mention the friendly staffs, and the yummiest Filipino dishes!

what we ordered:

Lechon Paksiw

Chopsuey

Pansit Bihon

Stuffed Squid

ALL ARE SO YUMMY and good for 3-4 persons! My most favorite of all, is the Lechon Paksiw belly! Why? The softness of the meat, covered with the crispiest skin, topped off with the sweet lechon paksiw sauce! Oh I am craving right now! you better try it!

As for the price? It is a bit pricey than the usual Filipino restos like Max's or Aristocrat, but definitely worth every cent! Plus the ambiance it breath-taking :)

In Full Bloom

2015-08-25T15:43:00.001+08:00

Hi how's your day? Mine's a bit slow but I enjoy every moment of it. I still believe that time is an essential ingredient for someone's success. I honestly am taking baby steps on the new venture I am into right now. Recently, I really enjoy taking my ootd's (glad that am back to my regular mojo!)

By the way the outfit I am wearing is from Simone's Closet 's HIPPIE DAYS COLLECTION! I am so into wearing off-shoulder tops lately! Plus I feel so boho whenever I am wearing a maxi skirt! :) Do you like my outfit! and oh I am lovin my tall grass background! :)

For What It's Worth

2015-08-21T21:37:00.000+08:00

An open letter to YOU who have broken my heart yet taught me lessons I won't ever forget. For what I am worth for, I have learned that I only deserve the best. YOU failed to make me feel that way but i am not cursing you for it. I have yet to thank you for YOU made me realize to love myself more than anybody else. I hope that YOU are not feeling the brokenness of the pain you have caused me. I'll be alright I will be bouncing back. :)

My Deepest Why

2015-07-10T01:37:00.001+08:00

I dedicate this post this to all the single parents out there, most especially to the single mothers. For days now, at this usual late night hour, I always shed a tear or so. I cannot exactly decipher as to whether they are tears of joy or tears of pain. But what I exactly know at this point is that, I cry because I am strong.

It's hard to become a single mother for you act 2 roles in your child's life. A caring mother, and a hardworking father. I was talking to God last night asking Him if I can shoulder everything. I can feel challenges left and right. I can feel the pain, the exhaustion, and the fear that I might fail, and it will hurt me the most to see my future didn't work. I felt as if the challenges are unlimited, they keep coming back for more. I AM AFRAID, HONESTLY.

And so I prayed this time, I felt peaceful, and light right after I cried and offer my wearies to the Lord. He somehow whispered to me to get my ipad and scan over my photos. As I swipe photos after photos, the tears started to roll again, my throat tighten and the cry baby in me, burst in to tears. That's when I realize that God wants me to be stronger, for the people on the photos are the reasons why I push myself, and my Marise is one of those. God wants to tell me to continue after crying, for I have surpassed many challenges already, and to give-up is never a solution. God wants me to see all those photos ( bazaar photos, family pictures, simone's closet, my journey photos) because He wants me to recall my deepest WHYs why I continue to live. He somehow wants to remind me that whenever pain, challenges, and exhaustion, makes me want to give-up, I have more reasons not to.

GOD IS REALLY GOOD. HIS TIMING IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

I am just grateful that God is always there with me. He gave me Marise so I can have Simone's Closet and my XTRM 1-11 family. If not for her I wouldn't be here where I am now.

I may be on my greatest battle in life to provide for my Marise, but I am so lucky because God entrusted me this big responsibility for He knows I am capable of doing so. Because He believes in me.

If in case you feel like giving up, let yourself cry, wipe away tears, and after a minute or so, stand up and remind yourself of your DEEPEST WHY, why you keep moving, and should keep moving. :)

PS: I enjoy the rainy weather with my Marise, but I am a sunny person, I miss the sunshine! I hope the skies will be clear anytime soon. I am planning a photoshoot for my Marise this weekend! :) how are you so far? :)

Twenty Seventh

2015-07-05T13:38:00.000+08:00

I just turned a year older and wiser. I am happy that I was given another chance to fulfill my dreams, another chance to extend more help to more people, and another chance to live the life to the fullest. I am 27, and getting older means you're entering to a much more challenging phase of life...and that's inevitable. You will be tested a lot of times, your faith and vision in life would really go under the mile. BUT at the end of the day it is on how you hold on to your goals that really matters. no amount of doubts would ever sink in your boat of dreams. :)

HAPPY 27TH TO ME! :) cheers to more blessings! :)

PS: the maxi dress and belt I am wearing is a part of Simone's Closet's LOST IN THE CITY COLLECTION! order now! :)

I have been meaning to really update you guys at least one post a day. And I will be beginning it from now on. What have I been doing lately?? Well we all know I do business and writing jobs at the same time right? Top these all off with a new business I just opened! Yeah yeah, doing so really made me extra busier haha!

But before I dig in to details on my next posts...I would like to share why I super love this outfit. Well number one is COMFORT. you know me too well that I wouldn't sacrifice comfort over fashion because the two can actually meet in between. I fancy wide-leg pants nowadays for the simple reason that it accentuates my curves so well and they always seem to look very presentable and business meeting-worthy no matter if it's printed or colorful. haha!

Do you like my outfit? Well you can actually get this whole look just visit our LOST IN THE CITY collection here and here!

Believer

2015-06-21T11:18:00.002+08:00

photos from SIMONE'S CLOSET's Lost in The City collection

I am a firm believer that dreams really do come true. Dreams are to be built not be chased. Unless you act upon them, they will remain an illusion. Just recently when I unlocked an achievement on my business and it feels good hard work really pays off. :)

On the side note, let me share how I really adore this outfit. I feel sexier in a loose outfit more than the fitted ones. Well precisely because I can move freely and confidently without having to worry about my skirt going up or my tummy is coming out haha! Kidding aside, this poncho and boho pants is my favorite combo! you can check them out on Simone's Closet's LOST IN THE CITY CATALOGS:

Not Your Ordinary Girl

2015-04-30T22:16:00.002+08:00

How are you ladies and gents? Pardon my lack of posts. I have underwent some serious personal issues, and some career problems but like what my supportive mother always tells me, I CAN DO ALL THINGS WITH GOD. I was able to bravely surpass them all.

And to quote my XTRM 1-11 family,

TO BRING FORTH TRIUMPH IS TO REFUSE TO BE ORDINARY.

I put this line in my heart and in my mind. Apart from God, this is one of the things that keeps me moving forward despite of all the difficulties. The past weeks has been really a whirlwind of emotions. Thank God for wonderful people and friends who lifted me up in times like this.

Glad to be back again! <3 p="">

Anyway, I missed my blog so much! I have tons of OOTD to share, and lots of kwentos to make dahil sa sobrang daming events that had happened over the weeks. I will be sharing them all to you one by one, beginning tomorrow!

So will you be with me as I begin my blogging journey once again? :)

2015-04-13T11:01:00.003+08:00

I have been a free-spirited type of gal and I feel happy when I do things randomly because I get to discover new things you can't when you do things like you used to. somehow getting out of the comfort zone is such a sweet escape.

And the thing I love about Simone's Closet's new collection, SWEET ESCAPE, is that, the pieces are designed to fit almost any frames, and we make them in very limited quantities to preserve uniqueness, and to make sure YOU only have that certain style. :) plus, the clothes are breezy just perfect for the Summer heat! :)

How was your holy week going on so far? Mine's pretty good, I am spending it at home with my little Marise. We both are recovering from fever hopefully today our sickness will be totally gone. :)

Last Sunday I asked my little Marise for a fun shoot wearing our terno boho tops. It's a new design coming out very soon! :) I love the circular hem and the fringes! :) I never knew we would be opening our kiddie line of clothes and accessories! Such a blessing for Simone's Closet! This only goes to show that more people are loving, and starting to embrace our boho lifestyle! :)

I will be out today with my brother! Be back with another new post! :)

Which Way To Go

2015-03-26T22:27:00.001+08:00

Hello! hell! Finally another OOTD post! The past few days have been so busy. I just ventured to a new business so my schedule is quite tight. Right now while typing this post I am sick with fever and I am not really feeling well but since I am itching to post this here I am still typing hehe.

Anyway there are things in life you will never know if they are worth the try or not unless you do them. you may seek advice from friends and family, but at the end of the day you will only know which way to go when you let yourself walk into the path. What if the path is going no where? or it leads you far from your destination? Don't worry, you can always go back and find the right way again, at least you know now which paths are worth to take, and those that aren't! :)

Positive Negative

2015-03-14T17:17:00.001+08:00

It took me a week or so since my last blog entry. What have I been doing lately? well, aside from my mommy duties, day job, and business, I went through a phase of selecting worthy opportunities to get into. I am so lucky to have been given a lot of opportunities, but not all of them are worthy of my time.

I contemplated over 2 opportunities, 1 is something my heart truly desires, and the other one, is something that is new to me. I have come to choose the later because picking the first one would put me to a situation that I am sure I'll regret later on. Sure it's a thing I have ever wanted but the consequences would cost me too much (money wise, time wise). And so, I came to venture into something very new to me, something I realized is a great opportunity for me and for other people as well, only if we know how to open our minds.

Arriving at this decision, I have seen two kinds of people, the positive ones, and the negative ones. People will always talk about you and the decisions you make without even knowing a single point of the idea, or the worst, they would even discourage you. But still, I thank God for giving me a handful of positive people who believes in me, and who supports me to any decisions I make. these are the people I need at the very moment. And I clearly do not understand why such negative people even exists on earth.

I may not know what will come on the next days, or what will happen to my decision, but I sure know in my heart, I wouldn't be here if God didn't let me be here. And I know there's a purpose. :)
