Step 1: Paint on your wall color. I used a medium grey shade in satin.
Step 2: Sponge on a darker shade of metallic glaze. I used a Charcoal glaze from the Martha Stewart line and an old wash rag.
Step 3: Sponge on a white gloss very lightly, blending it very well. I did this sporadically, just a touch here and there to add dimension.
Step 4: Using another old rag and a silver glaze (I used

Toy Bags with Windows

I love to add clear windows to bags. It’s especially helpful for kid’s toys so they’re able to see what is in the bag. Another bonus I found that is my kids tend to put the toys back (without being told) after use if they have a special bag. I’m not sure why this is but I’ve tried Legos in drawers and boxes but they always wound up scattered everywhere. Put them in a bag a few months ago and

Hanging Jewelry Organizer

I stumbled across the most amazing 80-Pocket Jewelry Organizer at a thrift store and had to share. It hangs in the closet out of the way, so many pockets, I can see everything at a glance and if you need to travel just

DIY Makeup Brush Pouch Tutorial

An easy sewing project even for beginners. There are many ways to store your makeup brushes however my personal preference is a roll-up makeup pouch. This makes them easy to store, pack and keeps them from getting dusty.

Gather supplies & cut fabric if necessary. I recommend using a sewing machine.

Step 1: You’ll want to begin by gathering all your brushes, lay them between fabric “A” &

Purse Organization & Wallet Clutch Giveaway!

Every 6 hours put 2 AM and 2 PM slots, etc. Write the hour beside the check mark to help remember the time it was given.

Christmas Ornament Storage

How my Christmas ornaments are stored: Bottom layer are all my round ornaments.
