Happy Chinese New Year Everyone! I hope you are all doing well today. It's the first day of my work for this week after a 5-day vacation. I'm actually not feeling well, my nose is itching and I think I might get cold. I hate the non-stop sneezing :(.

By the way, since it's the start of the Year of the Water Dragon, we are all looking for a good luck this year. I am a Rooster and according to Fung Shui, Dragon and Rooster are Secret Friends, some says they are soul mates. So that means that people who are born at the year of this kind will have a very good year. Whoa, lucky me!

Last January 08 was one of the most heartfelt wedding I have attended. The event was so simple and solemn but such lovely occasion. The weather is really not good that day, it was raining since morning until the receptions' end but thank God everything went well. I haven't uploaded the pictures that I have in my camera, only in my phone, so forgive me the first 3 pictures.

I am always unhappy whenever I open my email and see these junk mails I received in my inbox. And probably you too feel the same. The most frustrating is when your important email is buried with these hundreds of email that you even don't know where they came from. One of these junk are catalogs you thought you already opt out of service and yet here they are coming in your inbox. There are times that I want to look at them but most are tossed into trash, especially those that we didn't order, without even looking at it.

So I have searched on how I can eliminate junk mail from coming into my email, not worrying to deleting or missing an important email. And I came across Catalog Choice which helps prevent unwanted mail coming into my inbox. The good thing on this is that it isn't just for catalogs but for coupons, credit offers, phone books, fliers, circulars, newsletters, and other unsolicited mail you receive. Your email will be removed from the database of those who sends you unwanted email and your are free of it. Awesome right?

I am glad that they have come up with this great site which I know I will be using for years.

Charmed Annual Get Together - Mae's Birthday

Last May, Charmed ones had the chance to met up 3x for the first quarter of this year. Which of course is unusual for us because most of the time, we only had to meet once or 2x a year. By the way, we call ourselves charmed ones because of our favorite series of all time CHARMED.

We are 5 all-in-all, and yes I know that Charmed sisters are only 3. We we have thought of having getting Prue back in the picture then adding a new member Geri. You might be thinking on where did we got the name Geri huh? Well, do you remember Geri Halliwell? The singer? The ex-spice girl? Right. That is where we got her name for Tin-Tin, so to complete the sisters.

First meeting this year was in North Park in Alabang Town Center, it was the first time we saw Piper(Cathy) since she got off Boracay and decided to stay in Manila for good.

It was in 1998 when I took PT course and I have seen internships in our school's hospital. Back then, medical uniforms are just plain white blouse partnered with either a plain white skirt or pants. Nurses often use plain dresses but now, I was amazed on how they redefine these medical set-up for scrub uniforms.

One day my brother brought home his nursing uniforms and I was surprised to see how good it looks on him. It is far more comfortable, flattering and friendlier look scrubs top than the traditional one. Pipau's Baptism

This year's first quarter, I had attended two baptisms. The first one is with Pipau's. He is the son of my housemate/teammate April. The rights's venue was held at Valenzuela, I forgot the name of the church but it was beautiful. The ceremony was so organized though there were about 10 children to be baptized that day. One of the best thing that I like was right before the priest came in, the church's catechist lectured all the us on what is "baptism" is all about, the meanings of symbols and all. Though of course we already knew it, it is still good to remind us of it.

Three Idiots

I never thought that I would be able to enjoy a bollywood movie like this. Three Idiots is entertaining comedy-drama that's worth seeing. A superb act by Amir Khan. Even if its a 3-hour film, it never kept me bored. The story just keep me amazed every minute I watched it, it always gave surprise in every scene. Full of comedy but it never looses its heart.

The Plot :

Farhan (Madhavan) and Raju (Sharman) sets outs on a journey to find their lost friend, Rancho (Aamir). As they starts their journey, the reminiscing of memories from college life begun. This is where they met Rancho, a unique free-thinker who inspired them and how he had an impact in their lives.

The movies has its cons of course but I was impressed with the dialogues delivered by Amir Khan. I was so moved by this picture. Overall, this is a movie that would change my life one day.

Finally, I met my inaaanak and imagine its been 3 years already. I never had a chance to see her during her baptism or her 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthday. What a good ninang I am right? Tsk

So when I had the chance to meet this lovely girl, I did. During out met up, she was with her mom MJ. Some of our friends also came (Curly and Julia). Ate at Fazollis in Eastwood and had videoke galore at Timezone.

I was awake as early as 5:30 am the next day of our trip. We had our quick breakfast and went ahead to our boat for the island hopping.

Unplanned Adventure day 1

Hello everyone, gosh its been a while since I posted a good read. I've been so busy this past few weeks, work, work, work and work. Good thing for me though, I had this scheduled vacation.

Anyway, why does my tittle says unplanned adventure?

Actually, our group had planned a vacation to Calaguas on dates March 18-21, 2011 since January this year. I was so excited the night before that I prepared all the stuffs that I needed to bring like my camera, waterproof bags, sunblock etc etc. We were scheduled to meet at Ortigas at around 7:00 pm the night of March 18. The thing is, at around lunch time, our travel coordinator canceled the trip. So imagine how frustrated I was when I found out.

So my friend Gian, tried to check other possibilities on where can we go since all the 12 of us are on leave for 4 days already. We've searched, asked, researched and tired. We thought of going to batanggas, laguna, antipolo and even Puerto Gallera were considered.

Until, whalla! Gian found out another tour coordinator which gave okay to bring us to Pangasinan. The Bolinao and Hundred Islands Tour was within our reach. And the fact that most of us haven't been to these places, then the change from South to North adventure becomes more exciting for us and a new itinerary was formed.

First stop: Bolinao Falls

We have to meet our van going to Pangasinan at around 2:00 am at Ortigas, so Mena, Monding and I decided to drop by banchetto. We left Alabang at 10:00 pm, got to Ortigas at around 11:30 and went strait ahead to batchetto. It was our fist time to go to there and I was really amazed on how may foods and people there were. A-Friday-night-foodie-feast! From dumplings to burgers to pizza and all other street foods that you can imagine. There are so much variety of food which you'll have a hard time choosing what to eat, hahaha, thats what happened to me. And since there are so many people, we were not able to take some photos. Right after our food feast, went to meet the gang at around 1:30am, and started the 5-hour road trip to Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Second Stop :

After going to the falls,we dropped by St. James The Great Parish and prayed for few minutes.

While we were still at the "bayan", we went to the market place to buy the foods for our lunch.

Third Stop : Patar Beach

We had a long dusty journey to reach this beach. I think this is located to the farthest part of Bolinao. Since this is a public beach, it doesn't have good amenities or lots of water activities. The beach is too rocky and had some sea urchin and the sand is not so white. So, if you ask me, it really didn't impress me that much. But since I am a beach bum, I enjoyed just seeing it.

We went to visit Mau, Michelle and my inaanak at their house in Pasig. It was the first time that I saw baby Linc. He is so cute and heavy as well, 6kg for less than 2 months old. Can you imagine how heavy is he, I only lasted 10 minutes carrying him.

Larry and Tina's Wedding
