Relationships can get messy and complicated. Scripture teaches us that, while peace should be our priority, there are times when peace isn’t always possible.

When a relationship is strained, pursue peace by owning your piece, and place what’s out of your hands into God’s.

You can have peace—no matter how it turns out—when you take responsibility for your part, not theirs.

One of the key details in this account is the obedience of the servants. Jesus’ instructions likely didn’t make sense to them, yet they followed Him anyway. Their simple obedience allowed them to experience a miracle we’re still talking about today.

Often, its our quiet, unseen obedience to Jesus’ word that prepares the way for God’s extraordinary work in our life.

You may not understand why it matters to them, but when you treat it with respect, a bridge is built.

Attention paves the way to connection.

As long as you think you can handle everything on your own, you’ll miss out on what God wants to do in and through your life.

But when you finally realize you’re not enough, you begin to experience the joy of knowing that He is.

The Gospel wasn’t made for “good people” but people who realize their need for the goodness of God.

No matter how dark the world gets, the light of the Gospel will always shine though.

When Jesus was tempted by Satan in Matthew 4, He didn’t fight back with a big miracle. He fought back with God’s Word.
