I guess this would be the place to post about rigging. I'm trying to find the best way to get good deformations for the arm/underarms. I use bones and Endomorhs, but they seem limited. I was told that creating an adjustment map for a low poly character would be best.

Do you guys know of any tutorials on creating adjustment maps to help with deformations?

I need to convert my .LWO file into either .STP or .3DS file and I am not having any luck. This started out as a love job for my brother, now its turned into hell! I wouldn't mind if he was paying. Anyhow can someone please help me?
I have had no luck with the tutorials on the net to convert to .STP ( think my version, V9.6 of LW is not up to-date )
I tried to export directly from LW to 3DS but I get an error "Vertex or Polygon count exceeds max (65k)"

Can someone Please Help?

Ok so here is what I want to do. I'm not sure if this is possible.

I have a cube with a checkerboard texture.
In the middle of one of the faces of that cube I want a squarish mouth to open up. I am currently using morphs to do this. When you start to morph the polygons, the textures morph with those polygons (which is good in most cases). But, I want that texture board to stay the same, while still being able to morph a hole that opens up on the side (that's the mouth). I don't want to lose the integrity of the checkerboard pattern when the polygons morph

Any ideas?

Thanks!
