The organizations behind the Carthaginians and Romans Fiestas in Cartagena had a fright yesterday when the warehouse where 24 associations keep most of their material was robbed. Among the groups affected are the Senado Romano and the Consejo Carthagineacutes.
By all accounts, the robbery took place during the night, when thieves broke through the outer fence and opened the containers belonging to the fiestas groups by force.

The Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraacuteneo, now known as the Banco CAM, registered a loss of 2,713 million euros in 2011, of which 1.576 million were in the second quarter of the year.
The administration of the CAM was taken over by the Banco de Espantildea in July, and the bank was then sold to Banco Sabadell on 7th December. Officers of the Policiacutea Nacional in Lorca have arrested 32 people on charges of fraudulently registering as common law couples at various Town Halls in the Region of Murcia.
According to a police statement, most of the women involved were already married, and pretended to be involved in relationships with immigrants in order to earn between 500 and 2,000 euros, thus allowing the immigrants to reside in Spain legally.

The railway line in Murcia was closed for two hours last night after a runaway calf escaped from a slaughterhouse and strayed onto the tracks, according to a statement issued by the Policiacutea Local.
