Dear Governor Scott,

On behalf of the Florida Society of News Editors, we want to commend you for making your emails and the emails of your top staff available online for the public to see.

Florida has long been a leader in Government-in-the-Sunshine, serving as a model for the rest of the country in guaranteeing the public's right to access government meetings and records. Your Project Sunburst is an "unprecedented step," as you said, providing the public with quick, easy and free access to your office's emails. Your efforts undoubtedly will inspire other public officials and local governments in Florida to follow your lead.

Scooter’s Cell Phone I’m sure you know that quote about trying the same old approach and expecting a different outcome. I do, and every time I see how it impacts health care I want to commit these “leaders” in the field for their inability to truly address health issues. I read and hear these ideas, the studies, the comments, and I just wonder if these folks keep getting their certificates of fact from a Cracker Jack box. Let’s take this quote from ‘Death by Medicine’ “The most stunning statistic is that the total number of deaths caused by conventional medicine is an astounding 783,936 per year, at a cost of $282 billion billion! It is now evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the US. (By contrast, the number of deaths attributable to heart disease in 2001 was 699,697, while the number of deaths attributable to cancer was 553,251.” As the report states: “Simply entering a hospital could result in the following: • In 16.4 million people, a 2.1% chance (affecting 186,000) of a serious adverse drug reaction • In 16.4 million people, a 5-6% chance (affecting 489,500) of acquiring a nocosomial [...]

Today Sinclair News received the full and final Autopsy Report on Andrew Breitbart from the Los Angeles County Coroner's office per our earlier request. We were sent the report at the same time as NBC News, NY Times, Fox News, and others who had submitted requests for the final report.

Since the Los Angeles County Coroners Office issuing its COD (Cause of Death) on April 20, 2012 some internet organizations have continued to claim Breitbart was murdered and even went so far as to knowingly start a completely false claim that LA County Coroner Forensic Tech Michael Cormier was involved in the March 2, 2012 autopsy of Andrew Breitbart and was murdered the day the Breitbart cause of death was reported April 20, 2012

The objectives of modern secondary education differ more from national educational reform models now than at any other time in our history. The objectives of the American secondary education, as stated in 1918 by the National Education Association’s Committee on Reorganization of Secondary Education, were: health, command of the fundamental processes, worthy home membership, a vocation, civic education, worthy use of leisure time, and ethical character. As secondary education encompasses adolescence, this is when patterns of social behavior are generally developed. It is secondary education that functions as the most concrete expression of any society’s ideals through the behavior of its youth. Secondary education in the United States has been subjected to numerous changes from the Latin grammar schools of the 17th and 18th centuries where classical curricula brought from Europe were taught. Latin, Greek, religion, and mathematics were the usual subjects. However, in the latter part of the 18th century, Benjamin Franklin sponsored the first academy in Philadelphia. The academy curricula were more elastic and broader than the Latin schools and included studies in English, grammar, composition, and literature, as well as mathematics and science. It wasn’t long before the academies became exclusively college-preparatory institutions. As the American education [...]

Sinclair News - LS News Group was formed to report news factually and without the media censorship filter that is all to often employed by the agenda based media outlets. We never thought that everyone would agree with our style of reporting, which is an individuals right. What is not an individuals or groups right is to send disgusting threatening emails to all the writers and contributors of Sinclair News.

At what point does ones threatening emails cease being protected free speech and begin to be criminal threats? This is not an easy question to answer, considering that Law Enforcement agencies exercise different standards based on who the receipient of the threats are as opposed to applying the law equally.

Well Ron Paul 2012 Chief Strategist and National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. on a conference call with reporters this morning made it clear "it is very unlikely that we could stop Gov. Romney from receiving the needed delegates to be the nominee." Ron Paul 2012 released "Ron Paul Campaign Delegate Strategy Memorandum this morning in advance of the conference call with reporters.

In listening in on the call Sinclair News found the tone of Benton to be like that of parents who, before taking the kids out in public give them a stern talking to about being on their best behavior while in public.
