Il Mare Atelier designs and creates exquisite jewelry with fine quality gemstones, crafted entirely by hand. My objective is to fuse art and jewelry into unique, versatile, yet wearable and affordable pieces.

“Il Mare” means “the sea” in Italian, with waters shimmering in an array of hues, from the blue of the deep sea to lighter azzurro, pale sea green and brilliant emerald. “Atelier” means “workshop” in French. Put together, they mean “Studio by the Sea”, a lovely intriguing dream that I am working towards.

Hello everyone else who's found the courage to step onto that artistic route which is so very much frowned-upon in our tiny island! :)

I'm Jocelyn, and I'm a fresh graduate with Bachelor of Arts from NUS. While every other peer I have are either landing office jobs or frantically trying to, I have been attracting curious and dubious looks with the "Oh, me? I'm not looking for a job. I'm a miniature sculptress, and am working at making a living out of it.".

I have been working with polymer clay for close to 6 months now (feels much longer though!), mainly in the area of customisations and miniature dollhouse food. I have aspirations of making this become a viable and sustainable source of income, and am slowly venturing in the area of incorporating my miniature sculptures into usable items! :) It's all very exciting, because I've just started my Etsy shop too. My blog/blogshop (AiClay, previously named Play-withclay) has been around for close to a year though, and I've been keeping busy with the orders that generated from there. :)

Alright, it's supposed to be a short description so I wouldn't rant on any further! :) Looking very much forward to knowing all of you better, and one of my aspirations to achieve in the near future is to participate in a local craft fair, which would probably involve a lot of you guys too! :)

Do you want to have a wrist area skin to match your laptop skin? If so, you can order the wrist area skin here. The skin will perfectly fit your laptop wrist area and I will cut the hole of the middle touch pad.

The benefit of the wrist area skin is that it prevents scratch from your bracelets or watches on your laptop wrist area. It also allows you to clean it easily if you drop coffee, left finger marks or any thing you don't like on the wrist area.

Of course, it is beautiful to look at it as well.

For examples of the wrist area skin, please look at the images at the side.

The skin shown with the laptop is not what you are going to get.

If you order the wrist area skin together with your laptop skin, we assume the design is the same with the laptop skin. If not, please let us know by sending us a message.

*** The sizes***

--- You need to give us the following 3 information so that we can make the right size of your wrist area and also cut the hole of the touch pad for you.

[1]. The touch pad size

[2]. The wrist area size

[3]. The four distances of the touch pad to the sides as d1, d2, d3, d4. (see the image with crimson color)

---- If you have an irregular wrist area skin, if you know how to draw a diagram, you can send us a diagram such as one shown in the last image.

---- If there is difficulty to specify the sizes, you can take a photo of the wrist skin, I can use the image to guide you how to measure the necessary sizes.

Argiletz clays are mined in Argiletz, France in areas free of pollution and are sun-dried in order to retain their active properties. Depending on your skin type, these mineral-rich clays detox, cleanse, exfoliate, heal and tone skin.

Blemished and acne skin will benefit most from green clay’s detoxifying nature as it works to draw out toxins and also to help with tissue repair.

We recommend using distilled water in the mix rather than a hydrosol to fully employ its benefits.

Create a facial mask by mixing a teaspoon of distilled water with half teaspoon of green clay into a watery paste.

They are also suitable for use in bath scrubs.

Wagashi (和菓子?) is a traditional Japanese confectionery which is often served with tea, especially the types made of mochi, azuki bean paste, and fruits.

So, your doll has a Japanese friend who was thoughtful enough to bring a gift of a box of these traditional japanese treats!

This beautiful 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature collectible is made of polymer clay, and the wooden box is also handmade by me out of basswood, then varnished with a clear wooden acrylic varnish.

The last picture depicts the other variants of this box/treat, also available in my etsy store :)

The focal of this necklace is made with vintage white glass in a glossy fluid wavy shape. The design actually took shape all on it's own while I was doing a trial. It took the form of an angel's beautiful feathered wing. I've chose antiqued finish copper chain & wire to add warmth to the stark white glass. Soft, plush, Swiss velvet ribbon in chocolate, is used instead of chains. It just gives the necklace a softer, modern & luxe look. You can adjust the length to your fancy. Wear it long or short, it's your choice. Little Czech glass leaves & baby bell flowers in shades of shimmering purple, pink/green adorn the ends of the ribbon tie. So you look good coming or going! Enjoy!

NOTE: The vintage glass is whiter in person compared to the off-white color shown in these photos.

I'm glad to be living next to a park when the trees are tall and abundance of green. I truly appreciate the nature and the wonders it does!

This creation was inspired by a nature walk I had with my family. A pretty polymer clay pendant by Charlene of Tinkle Art Room (www.tinkleartroom.com) Clusters of olive green rice pearls, colourful beads, natural green jade and tiny jasper beads starts from the top of the pendant and trails till the otherside to a little cluster.

Length is 85.10 cm / 33 1/2 inches

I'm in love with beautiful paper and alot of my design revolves around working with different patterned paper. I pride my work on them being heavily DIY-ed. Each stamp inked, each embellishment placed on is done so individually by hand unlike mass-printing using graphic designs from the computer.

Pendant with 2 types of stained glass. The larger piece of glass has a green stripped tone on one side and multicolors of white, blue and green on the back. The smaller piece of glass is a copper red van gogh stained glass. The pendant has a tinned copperwire motif and is handcut, grinded, copperfoiled and soldered together using leadfree solder with silver.

My name is Adrine. I have always been in love with clay especially polymer clay since year 2005. I am also into beading making handmade jewelry. Recently I am just into miniature cakes and I find that they are so interesting and there are so many different techniques to it. There are so many kinds of clay I am playing with recently and totally engrossed in miniature food especially cakes and tarts.
