Are you still licking your wounded pride?

Guess what, your ex has just bought his current squeeze a brand-new Innova, and made reservations for a week-long vacation in Bora...

Obviously, he has not only moved on - he galloped his way to waiting(read: willing) arms. You can eat your heart out, but they are having a GOOD TIME! You can cry all you want, but HE IS NOT COMING BACK. Get it inside your thick head: HE IS OVER YOU; in fact, a loooonggg time ago. After all the cheating, he still had the b**ls to file for annulment first, didn't he?

You now belong to us. Welcome to the club! Don't worry, you will get used to it. Your healing can take time, but it will come. Trust us.

NOW, WHAT TO DO?

What you do with your life from this day onward is entirely YOUR choice. Self-destruct if you want, but it will NEVER bring him back. All the more you give him the reason not to pay you attention. NOBODY LOVES A LOSER.

OK, let us give in to your little self-pity. He chose HER over YOU. You can deal with this, in two ways: you can waste the remainder of your life crying over HIS choice, or you can MAKE YOUR OWN, and succeed with it. You see, you can only lose as much as you allow it.

Take a cue from Taylor Swift: monetize a heartbreak. Write a song, or an e-book. Go back to school. Take up a job. Create an opportunity out of your adversity. The best revenge is not just in looking good. Try laughing your way to the bank, too!

Take responsibility for your life. Define your future, according to your own terms. Not being able to move on after being cheated on, or lied about is giving the same man the license to hurt you twice.

And for the woman he chose, show her some love, too. Remember, we learned life's best lessons in grade school: be kind to animals. Just kidding...

WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?

Demand child support - legally. Let us emphasize that: legally.

We don't care if you will not press charges against your philandering husband, or partner. You can act-out the role of THE suffering woman, maybe thinking your man will grow some conscience. Ha, ha, ha. DREAM ON.

We strongly recommend legal action in demanding for child support. Everything should be put in "black and white." Some of us learned it the hard way: you simply cannot risk your children's well-being and future on a man's conscience because some of them grow one only when they are on their death-beds. Sad, but true. Iba pa rin ýong has the power of law.

Moving forward with kids can be very challenging that's why we have this blog up - for YOU.

This is your "other" Bible. Single parents in the Philippines now have the support of the government. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. We shall dig up resources and info you need for an easier journey, but woman-up for your sake, and for the best interests of your child/ren!

This blog will wade WITH YOU through murky waters, until you grow your own wings and fly on your own.

Then, maybe, when you are ready you can extend a helping hand to another woman. Sino-sino pa ba ang magtutulungan, di ba dapat tayo-tayo din lang?

We reserve the BEST advice for last, so you won't forget: grow your faith in GOD. Let us reassure you: He hears your cries.
