A recent study on gasolines has revealed that the ethanol is not to blame and it’s actually the gas from Chevron causing the problems. They do add a techron to their fuels and this is suppose to help clean engines. It may be cleaning them too well and damaging critical parts inside your car’s engine. Chevron with techron may have to come off the market and this could cost the company of Chevron and their stock holders millions of dollars.

It does seem like gas prices are back on the rise again and oil companies are still making huge profits on the American consumers. These high gas prices were under the Bush Adminstration and now we see them under the Barack Obama Administration. It`s about a virus , called Influenza , which is spreading across USA , Canada and Mexico , a new virus , a new disease of high contagiousness , a type of flu but more acute. This type of flu comes from pigs , and it`s spreading , and there are a lot of cases.

Starting Friday evening , they (authorities) started doing rounds , they`ve been in people`s homes , (they did something with plasthics) , they told us we have to stay indoors under any circumstances , and for any emergency we can call a certain number , they told us we cannot have appliances on for more than 4 hours , food will be delivered to us.

They are instructing us and taking a lot of precautions.

Classes are suspended , from small children to universities , also people are not going to work.

Classes will (restart) on may 6th.

People have asked me what i think about this.

Well , firstly , I think the information we`re getting is filtered , (because there are more precautions taken now than with the aviary flu) , and they are hiding the seriousness of swine flu from us. People walking on the street have their mouths covered , everything is closed , cinemas , parks , we cannot go out of the house , everything , everything is closed.

Secondly , i think, this is a time of becoming aware , even if a little , because we are responsible too , humanity caused all these new viruses to appear , and unfortunatelly now , for these new viruses there are no vaccines , and i don`t know what they will do , they told us all the precautions we need to take , but i don`t know what they will do about the people who are already sick.

So , we have to think about this , even if a little , because we are responsible too , through our messed up diets , throwing garbage everywhere and so on , we are responsible about all this too.

Let`s hope the authorities can handle this flu situation well , let`t hope things don`t become of major seriousness , take care of yourselves guys , take precautions , and we`ll see eachother again at the next recording (video).

I always liked this song. It is actually based on a true story. It was a car accident in Georgia and someone living in the town where the accident happened wrote this little tune. It has held up over the years and Pearl Jam covered the song several years back that shinned new light on this great song.

A good way to help control the problem is limiting your outside lights at night. No need for porch lights or carport lights to stay on all night. People with lights in the yard should only use them when needed and not leave them on for long periods of time. Individual households play a small part in our light pollution problems, but we have to start somewhere. Hopefully city leaders will take action and have less lightning for new businesses and force establish businesses to cut down on their outdoor lighting at night.

The stars are wonderful to see and this is how early man would pass their time at night. I know in my area of North Georgia we have seen less lightning bugs than we use to have. I think this is a direct cause of light pollution and lights at night do hurt some forms of nature. Most hotels along the coast have shades over their lights to help the sea turtles continue to thrive in the oceans. We need more efforts like this to help protect nature and to help us see the stars and other things in the night time skies. Try to learn more about light pollution and ways that you can help prevent it at your household. It’s all the small steps that lead to major changes and we do need to start reducing our light pollution at night.
