Happy 4 years to my wonderful husband!! Dillon Kenwood Orr (Senior, now haha) you are the light of my life! I love you!!! I found a few handwritten pages torn out of a notebook shortly after my dad died.  It was his toast he had written out to say at our rehearsal dinner and it sums up his and Dillon's relationship to a "T".  I was laughing hysterically, I remember it like yesterday. &

I like to use the excuse, "I'm too busy" or "On a diet" to avoid cooking meals for my family :)  Mainly due to the fact that I honestly, just don't ENJOY cooking! I think half of it is because I am a BAD cook and the other half is because I hate the clean up that is involved after most decent meals.  So, with that said its' been awhile since I've had the "time" to cook.  Well,

So, whats the dish on these good meals? 1.  Buffalo Chicken Rolls:  ...the only difference is I shredded the chicken and left out the blue cheese crumbles....I also did a sweet&spicy BBQ version, Dillon was a big fan! 2. Brown Sugar/

Well, it's another Sooner Game Day in the Orr household!! We LOVE Game Days and we almost treat them like they are holidays...yes, we are obsessed :)  We sung "Boomer Sooner" when Kenwood woke up this morning and he very matter-of-factly told Daddy "we watch football...TOUCHDOWN!"  We are proud parents :)  Dillon took his morning Saturday drive to the donut shop....and Kenwood

Introducing....Miss Gamble Lynn! We are insane.  I cannot believe we got a puppy!! Dillon came home yesterday from working at the rent house and said, "Babe, how far is Altus?" Um...I was a little skeptical about this sketchy 2hour drive to Altus and what was so dang important that he had to go to ALTUS, OKLAHOMA of all places! I got this picture while he was there: "Dillon's 2 picks" was

Dillon and I went back to Jamaica at the beginning of July...we honeymooned in Negril at Sandals and loved it so much we decided to go back to Jamaica....this time we stayed at SECRETS in Montego Bay.  It was GLORIOUS!!!! We had a 1st floor room which we could literally walk out our patio door to the pool. We stayed in the "Preferred Club" which had a private pool & bar for our part of

SERIOUSLY?! Where has the time gone?!  I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of people who have come up to me reprimanding my blogging hiatus.  Last night at a baby shower for one of my dearest friends {Meggie & Clay Nelson} I was reminded, yet again, that someone had "a bone to pick with me" about SinkOrrSwim...thank you Kate Ivey for giving me a little push!  I am

Well, well, well.  I have been a BUSY girl!!! With managing real estate and having two precious kiddos, my life consists of ALOT of chaos, but ALOT of fun!!!  Livi Kate is growing like a weed! She is SO alert and smiley ALL THE TIME.  I could not ask for a better baby...and she sleeps! The majority of my days, Kenwood is up before her and I end up waking her up for the day.

How long do you get to use the excuse "I just had a baby" when referring to your weight?  I think it should work for at least 2 years! haha  Unfortunately, that excuse (or any excuse for that matter) doesn't really make me feel better about my weight...at all.  I am lucky enough to have a husband that reminds me everyday that I'm beautiful and that he could care less about my

Well, well, well.  Hello there blogging world.  It's been awhile! I have been super busy these last few weeks adjusting to two babies, working out (when I would normally be blogging), and working on cards and such out the wazoo! Miss Livi Kate went to the doctor yesterday for her 2month check up.  The word he used was "PERFECT"...I just looked at him and smiled, thinking to

I think I forgot to post this awhile back, but this is one of my favorite things!  It drives me nuts to have stuff covering our refrigerator and I totally wish it didn't because I would proudly display all kinds of artwork and cards, etc.  Conveniently, our stainless steel fridge doesn't even hold magnets--odd I know.  So, I had to find a new way to display birth announcements,

Well, my lovely friend Luci posted on her blog the other day about a chore chart that they started with their two year old and it got my brain wheels a spinnin'.  I, like her 2year old, needed a chore chart!  Only, I need one for myself!!! I need something to keep me on track with keeping the house tidy and the laundry done.  I am lucky enough to have a husband that is a HUGE help

The new "family" stationary I just designed and ordered for our family in a linen 5x5 scallop card! I can't wait to get it and use it! The back has just a plain O in the same font&color....the 5x5 scallop were a little more expensive than the standard card sizes but I think it's worth it!  Cute, right?!

Well, with a newborn and a two year old my daily life is a little chaotic these days!! I also work from home managing some family property which means it's busy time for me as tax season approaches!  Thank goodness I got a lot accomplished today which means I can hopefully treat myself to some relaxing time in the near future!  During my "work break" today I played around on the

I attempted my first shot at taking our own pictures of Miss Olivia for her birth announcement that I made.  I looked up online how to do some photo editing in photoshop and I was really pleased with the outcome!!  Here is the final product, a 5x5 Tri-Fold card: Inside Flap
