Digital signatures are commonly used in certificates, letters, and various official documents. However, many signature images found in PDFs or online resources often appear blurry, pixelated, or low resolution—especially when cropped directly from scanned documents.

This guide will show you how to sharpen and enhance an e‑signature image, using simple tools like ChatGPT and background-removal services.

In this example, I worked on improving the signature of Rod Smith, the Group Managing Director of International Education at Cambridge University. Many documents online include his signature, but the image quality is often very poor—blurry on the edges and pixelated when zoomed in.

Recently, a friend asked me to help create certificates for her students using a Cambridge-style template. When I checked the embedded signature, it was extremely low quality. So, I decided to improve it.

Here are the steps I took:

Step 1 — Find the Best Available Signature Image

Start by searching online for PDF documents that include the signature you need. In my case, I looked for official Cambridge documents containing Rod Smith’s signature.

Most signatures you’ll find won’t be great, but try to pick the one with the highest clarity, least noise, and most complete shape.

Essentially: choose the best of the worst.

Once you’ve found a decent sample, crop the signature from the PDF using any PDF editor or screenshot tool.

Step 2 — Sharpen the Signature Using ChatGPT

Next, upload the cropped signature image to ChatGPT.

Use a simple prompt like:

“Can you sharpen the lines of this signature image?”

ChatGPT will return an enhanced version with cleaner, smoother, and more defined line strokes—much better for printing on certificates.

You can repeat the process until you get a version that looks crisp and natural.

Step 3 — Remove the Background

After the signature is sharpened, you’ll need to remove the white background so it blends cleanly into your document.

You have two options:

Option A — Use ChatGPT

Prompt example:

“Can you remove the background from the image above?”

Option B — Use remove.bg

Upload your image → download the transparent PNG version.

This will give you a clean signature with no background—perfect for certificates.

Step 4 — Insert the Enhanced Signature into Word

Open your Word document.

Insert the transparent PNG signature.

Right-click the image.

Select Wrap Text → Behind Text.

Balancing Bilah Kipas Angin

Kali ini saya akan bagikan tips cara membalance bilah kipas angin yang tidak seimbang. Latar belakang masalahnya adalah kipas angin 16 inch merk SANEX yang saya miliki salah satu dari 3 bilah kipas-nya pecah. Pecahnya bilah tersebut dikarenakan kipas angin tersebut jatuh setelah dinaikin kucing saya, kemudian keranjang / sangkar besi terbuka sehingga bilah kipas yang sedang berputar cepat langsung menghantam lantai. Dulu saya pikir bilah kipas angin adalah salah satu komponen kipas angin yang sulit atau jarang rusak ternyata penyebabnya bisa sangat beragam.

Akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk membeli bilah kipas angin after market di toko elektronik seharga 25 ribu warna transparan. Dengan harapan setelah diganti langsung normal eh ternyata ketika dinyalakan kipas angin bergetar hebat. Penyebabnya ya karena bilah kipas angin after market ini tidak balance sehingga ketika berputar menjadi goyang dan mengakibatkan getaran.

Akhirnya setelah browsing dan googling serta dengan tools yang saya punya pada saat itu akhirnya saya mencoba membalance bilah kipas angin tersebut.

Alat yang diperlukan antara lain :

Isolasi atau Lakban
Baut / Skrup Runcing
Obeng

Hal pertama yang dilakukan adalah merekatkan baut pada salah satu sisi dari as bilah kipas angin dengan lakban/isolasi kemudian nyalakan kipas angin dengan speed 2 ( jika kipas angin mempunyai 3 percepatan). Intinya set kecepatan kipas angin agak tinggi untuk mengecek getaran, karena jika kecepatan terlalu rendah maka getaran tidak terlalu kelihatan. Hati hati jika lakban atau isolasi kurang rekat maka baut bisa terlempar. Jika kipas angin masih bergetar atau goyang pindah baut ke sisi lain lalu rekatkan kembali lalu nyalakan kipas angin.

Langkah ini diulangi sampai mendapatkan putaran bilah yang stabil alias tidak goyang. Ketika sudah mendapatkan titik yang stabil, pasang sekrup pada titik tersebut, ada Sebagian orang memasang pemberat dengan lem di sisi dalam as. Tetapi karena saat itu saya tidak punya lem akhirnya saya langsung memasang baut tersebut pada as bilah.

Akhirnya kipas saya sekarang menjadi balance dan bisa digunakan lagi. Untuk hasil lebih presisi anda bisa menggunakan ukuran sekrup yang berbeda.

Kemudian saya tambahkan, yaitu jika anda mempunyai banyak kucing, atau kucing anda usil usahakan pengunci keranjang besi ditambahkan dengan kabel ties agar ketika jatuh lagi tutup keranjang besi tidak mudah terlepas dan memyebabkan kerusakan yang serupa pada bilah kipas angin anda.

Cara Ganti Dinamo Vacuum Cleaner Portable Han River

Saklar on/off ganti baru

Beberapa bulan yang lalu di tahun 2024, saya membeli Vacuum Cleaner portable yang murah meriah yaitu merk Han River buatan negeri Tirai Bambu. Merk ini cukup viral di online store. Untuk vacuum cleaner dengan harga di kisaran 200 ribuan, vacuum cleaner ini cukup nyaman digunakan dan bekerja dengan baik dan selama kurang lebih 3 bulan pemakaian hampir tidak ada masalah. Akhirnya pada sekitar bulan ketiga ada bunyi berdecit pada dinamo, dan kemudian menjalar ke saklar on/off yang kadang berfungsi kadang tidak. Akhirnya saya berinisiatif untuk membongkar dan memperbaiki Vacuum Cleaner Han River ini.

Setelah saya bongkar , saya menilai sebenarnya komponen yang terpasang mempunyai kualitas cukup baik, apalagi kipas penghisap terbuat dari alumunium selain menjadikan sedotan udaranya lebih kuat, secara otomatis juga mendinginkan dinamo melalui as.

Item komponen yang ada juga cukup sederhana yaitu, kipas alumunium, dinamo tipe RS 380, dua buah baterai tipe 18650, modul charging, saklar dan kabel.

Karena itu saya ingin agar Vacuum Cleaner yang sebenarnya cukup bagus ini mempunyai usia lebih lama akhirnya saya berinisiatif untuk mengganti beberapa part antara lain :

Ganti baterai bawaan dengan baterai tipe 18650 merk Rakki Panda buatan dalam negeri sebanyak 2 buah.

Ganti saklar geser bawaan diganti menjadi saklar tekan, karena saklar geser bawaan rawan slek dan cepat kotor karena sangat terbuka sehingga debu halus sisa buangan kipas dinamo gampang menempel. Hal inilah penyebab saklar pada vacuum yang saya beli berkarat dan akhirnya rusak. Saklar yang baru sudah 2 kali saya ganti dengan tipe yang hampir sama, karena saklar yang pertama rusak karena panas sewaktu saya eksperimen dengan gonta ganti dinamo.

Filter juga saya ganti dengan tipe yang bukan bawaan yaitu merk simplus, karena pada saat saya ingin membeli tipe yang sama cukup sulit, jika adapun stok sudah habis. Akhirnya saya mencari filter dari merk lain dan memotong karet pinggiran-nya agar diameter karetnya bisa pas masuk ke vacuum cleaner Han River.

Kemudian salah satu modifikasi "besar" yang saya lakukan pada vacuum cleaner ini adalah menggulung ulang kawat dinamo. Ini berawal karena kesulitan saya mencari dinamo tipe RS 380 tipe SH ( Super High ) yaitu tipe dinamo dengan kecepatan tinggi agar mampu menyedot debu. Karena setelah saya membeli dinamo tipe RS 380 non SH, putaran memang cukup kencang tetapi tidak cukup kuat untuk menyedot debu.

Tetapi jika anda bisa mendapatkan dinamo RS 380 tipe SH di toko online anda tidak perlu melilit ulang kawat dinamo seperti yang sudah saya lakukan.

Setelah saya bongkar antara dinamo yang saya beli dan dinamo bawaan yang rusak, ternyata dinamo bawaan jumlah lilitan per kutub yaitu 20 lilitan sedangkan dinamo baru yang saya beli sekitar 42 lilitan dengan diameter kawat tembaga sama yaitu 0.4 mm. Secara teori memang dinamo dengan lilitan lebih sedikit akan lebih kencang daripada dinamo dengan lilitan yang lebih banyak, akan tetapi ini akan mengorbankan torsi.

Bisa saja anda mengaplikasikan "teknologi balap tamiya", yaitu dengan memakai jenis kawat yang lebih bagus ( ex : Kawat Jerman, dsb), kemudian bisa menggunakan kombinasi berbagai jumlah lilitan. Tetapi anda harus pahami bahwa dinamo yang terlalu kencang juga akan menghasilkan panas berlebih.

Sebagai informasi, karena saya pernah ikut balapan Tamiya, waktu pakai dinamo ketika digunakan untuk balapan tamiya kurang lebih 3-5 lap/putaran atau kurang dari 5 menit, sedangkan ketika anda menggunakan vacuum cleaner tentu lebih dari 5 menit. Hal ini tentu saja akan bisa merusak dinamo karena dinamo menjadi sangat panas. Jadi kita harus mengambil "irisan" terbaik antara speed dan durability, cara paling singkat ya mencontek settingan gulungan kawat dari pabrikan yaitu 20 lilitan.

Tetapi kedepan saya akan mencoba menggunakaan kawat yang lebih bagus dengan jumlah lilitan yang sama, angkur dinamo yang dibalance dan memasang bearing.

Akhirnya dengan sedikit riset kecil kecilan saya memutuskan untuk mengupgrade diameter kawat dinamo menjadi 0.5 mm dari aslinya yaitu 0.4 mm tetapi dengan jumlah lilitan yang sama yaitu 20 lilitan. Secara teoritis upgrade ini akan meningkatkan RPM (rotation per minute) dan torsi karena resistensi kawat 0.5 mm lebih rendah dibanding kawat 0.4 mm. Kemudian karena diameter kawat tidak begitu bebeda jauh dari aslinya, kita tidak akan kesulitan dalam melilit dinamo ke angkur dinamo untuk menghasilkan jumlah lilitan yang sama.

Hal ini membutuhkan sedikit usaha dan ketelitian, karena untuk mencopot kipas dinamo perlu usaha lebih karena cukup sulit. Saya menggunakan plat sisa dari filter air kemudian dynabolt dan palu, dan ini pun cukup sulit karena anda juga harus menekan lagi as dinamo dengan sisa as roda bekas tamiya.

Kemudian perlu anda ketahui bahwa dinamo bawaan telah melalui proses balancing, hal ini bisa kita lihat dari angkur yang sudah dicoak, seperti terlihat pada gambar di bawah ini.

Proses balance inilah yang tidak saya lakukan karena perlu waktu dan alat yang lebih, tentu saja hal ini akan memperpanjang waktu pengerjaan, sudah keburu diomelin oleh "menteri keuangan" karena vacuum cleaner tidak kunjung beres juga : ).

Membalance angkur dinamo ini cukup penting karena selain memperhalus suara dinamo, menambah kecepatan / RPM (Rotation Per Minute) dan juga membuat dinamo lebih awet karena getaran menjadi minim.

Singkat cerita setelah saya ganti kawat, vacuum cleaner berfungsi normal kembali, memang suaranya tidak sehalus dinamo bawaan karena tidak saya balance tetapi sedotan-nya lebih kuat dan bisa berfungsi seperti sedia kala.

Today. I want to share about the VBA error that occurs on some users/computers but on others are fine. If you check the code, it was fine, and if you're running the code on some computer is running well, but on some computer occurs like the image above. The error that I’ve found is that the error occurs because the certificate on the server is not installed yet. When I send the HTTP request, it returns error "Run-time error '-2146697208 (800c0008)': The download of the specified resource has failed".

The solution is you can open Windows Internet Option, click Content, then open Certificates. Import certificates file ( .CER ) that generated from your server.

If you don't have the certificate files from your server, you can generate certificate file first from the same menu ( choose Export ).

How to Hide Grade Bucket Column on Skyward Report Designer

As we know on Skyward report designer if we want to show the grade bucket on the gradesheet. We have to change the setting on Grading à District Year Configuration à Grade Report Column Group.

In my case, I want to pull grades from Term 3 (T3) to show on Report Card Semester 2, but I don’t want to show the Grade Bucket column(T3) because I just want to show it in an individual section ( like the image below, not in one column group with another grade bucket ( S1, S2 and FG/Final Grade). See the image below.

I already asked Skyward via Help Center, but maybe with the “special need” that I want, by default Skyward Report Designer doesn’t support customizing reports that way.

In a few days, finally, I found the “magic trick”, that is doable to hide Term 3 columns beside other grade bucket columns. Because Skyward Report Manager doesn’t have properties to hide specific columns in one section.

Please follow the steps below.

Open menu, Grading à District Year Configuration àGrade Report Column Groups.

Add Term 3 after the last Grade Bucket Columns, in my case, is Final Mark ( see the image above). For your information on Skyward, the grade bucket must be “equal” one to anothers to show the value. If you put T3 grade bucket data on the S2 column header, you cannot show T3 grades because T3 data rows are not at the same level ( row ) .T3 grades are on the “second row” ( see the image below ).
Open menu Grading à Report Manager. Then open your Report Card template.
On the Grade Report Row, please add a Caption with the same name as your Grade Bucket columns that you want to override the Term 3 (Report Card Header) Label ( on the right ) (in my case: Term 3 ) and set the color (FG color and BG color ) the same as header line color ( like the image below ).

Set the position ( Top, Left, and Font size ) to override the Term 3 Column. Also, make a label with a white BG Color to hide T3 Data Grades on the Data 1 Section (see the image below). Make sure the label covered completely Term 3 Data Grades. This is an old trick but it works :-).

And Save. Now you can “hide” the T3 Grade Bucket Columns and show the T3 Grade on the other section.

Today, I want to share my personal experience with Google Drive. I uploaded my setup file from my app that I’ve made. I know precisely that my app is clean from malicious code. But Google detects that setup files are a kind of virus when someone downloads my share link. Google shows the warning message “Sorry, this file is infected with a virus. Only the owner is allowed to download infected files.”

Maybe, It’s hard for us to search for lines of code that are suspected by Google as virus or because of other reasons. So I make a simple trick for this and remember, this is for a good reason. Don’t upload a dangerous app or file using this trick.

My trick is, I compressed the setup file with Winrar, checked the Encrypt file names option and add password for ex: 1234 or abcd or up to you. Then re-upload .rar file to Google Drive.

If you want to use the “official way”, you can request to Google Trust & Safety team to review your file, from my experience, it takes about a few weeks or months, or maybe your files cannot pass the review.

After that you can re-share your download link on Google Drive.

Aplikasi untuk Mengirim Pesan WhatsApp Otomatis

Kali ini saya akan sharing tentang bagaimana cara untuk mengirim pesan WhatsApp secara otomatis menggunakan aplikasi yang kita buat sendiri. Ada banyak cara yang bisa anda temukan di internet. Artikel yang saya tulis ini adalah salah satu caranya dan sudah saya buktikan berhasil.

Langkah langkahnya antara lain :

Proses pengambilan data. Pada proses ini ada beberapa cara, antara lain menggunakan koneksi ke database langsung atau menggunakan API ( Application Programming Interface). Cara yang terakhir ini biasanya dipergunakan jika kita mengakses sistem yang dibuat oleh orang/pihak lain.
Proses pengolahan data. Pada proses ini data yang sudah diterima harus diolah dahulu. Misal dalam tema kali ini adalah pengiriman pesan. Maka data mentah yang berupa misal nama, alamat dan nomor telepon, perlu ditambah kalimat pesan sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diinginkan.
Proses pengiriman pesan. Pengiriman pesan WA untuk broadcast khususnya saat ini dimungkinkan melalui API yang disediakan rekanan WhatsApp yang ada di indonesia. Untuk saat ini karena kebetulan saya menggunakan produk dari Maxchat. Bukan karena saya ingin mempromosikan maxchat.

IMPLEMENTASI

Karena kebetulan aplikasi yang saya buat adalah menarik data dari sistem pihak lain, maka saya menggunakan API yang telah disediakan oleh vendor. Aplikasi yang saya buat adalah aplikasi Notifikasi WA di sebuah sekolah internasional. Aplikasi ini mengirimkan data ke orang tua murid jika salah satu anaknya masuk ke klinik di sekolah karena sudah hal.

Proses memanggil fungsi API ke Skyward ( Sistem Informasi Akademik yang digunakan sekolah tersebut) saya kebetulan menggunakan bahasa pemogramaman Microsoft Visual Basic. Sebenarnya dengan bahasa pemrograman apa saja juga memungkinkan asal ada fungsi HTPP Request. Proses ini biasanya memerlukan beberapa parameter yaitu, alamat URL, user, password dan token. Ada bisa membaca detail-nya di tulisan saya sebelumnya disini.
Pengolahan data. Setelah data diterima aplikasi (biasanya dalam bentuk JSON ) melalui http request yaitu berupa field student id, student name, status orang tua ( Ayah, Ibu, Guardian, Lain-nya ), Nama Ayah, nomor HP Ayah, Nama Ibu nomor HP Ibu, Nama Guardian, Nomor HP Guardian, Kelas, Tanggal Transaksi, Alasan masuk klinik, treatment, comment, dsb. Maka perlu ditambahkan pesan tambahan agar pesan enak dan layak dibaca oleh orang tua murid yang nantinya akan menerima pesan WA. Juga untuk penyimpanan data ke database (MySQL/MariaDB) untuk mencatat error log serta mengecek apakah pesan tersebut sudah dikirim atau belum sehingga tidak ada duplikasi pengiriman pesan WA.
Proses pengiriman data. Kebetulan saya menggunakan API WA dari Maxchat. Sebanarnya ada banyak vendor rekanan WA di Indonesia selain Maxchat. Hanya karena kebetulan saya menggunakan API dari Maxchat maka fitur fitur dari Maxchat yang akan saya bahas. Parameter yang akan diperoleh dari maxchat adalah url endopoint untuk API.

Jika anda sudah mendaftar di maxchat maka anda akan mendapatkan link URL dan authorization key, lalu dokumentasi API yang bisa anda explore. Contoh link ada di bawah ini.

Di maxchat juga disediakan fitur untuk mengecek apakah sebuah nomor wa aktif atau tidak dengan URL API : https://core.maxchat.id/nama-perusahaan/api/check?phone=081000000000'

Dengan respon balik exists : true (artinya nomornya Aktif) / false (Nomornya tidak aktif)

Juga karena ini adalah sebuah sekolah, maka tidak setiap waktu aplikasi ini aktif, program akan mulai aktif jam 7.30 pagi dan non aktif atau "tidur" jam 17.00, pada jam 12.00 siang hanya untuk mengecek bahwa program ini masih aktif berjalan saja. Pesan WA biasanya dikirim ke admin untuk mengetahui program masih berjalan atau error karena banyak sebab.

Demikian gambaran jika anda ingin membuat aplikasi notifikasi WA menggunakan bahasa pemogroman apapun dan API WA dari vendor apapapun karena pada intinya prosesnya akan sama.

Cara Memasang Bearing Kipas Angin

Mengganti bearing kipas angin kita di rumah merupakan salah satu cara agar kipas angin kita menjadi lebih awet / tidak cepat rusak.

Ketika anda mulai mencoba mencari berbagai cara di internet tentu akan menemukan banyak cara/solusi, dari yang paling sederhana sampai yang paling rumit ( dalam sudut padang seorang user yang awam ). Karena tidak semua orang mempunyai kemampuan / skill yang sama dalam membongkar kipas angin. Atau bahkan di tema yang akan kita bahas ini yaitu mengganti bearing kipas angin. Kadang ada yang membuat alat press untuk dudukan bearing, jujur bagi saya pribadi ini kurang pas.

Karena tingkat kesulitan cukup tinggi bagi orang awam, dan harus dilakukan oleh seorang yang berpengalaman, yang ada kita keburu kepanasan karena kipas angin masih rusak dan kita sibuk membuat alat press untuk pasang bearing.

Jadi kita akan cari cara praktisnya saja dan tentu saja terbukti berhasil.

Saya akan menjelaskan cara yang menurut saya paling bisa dilakukan sebagai seorang yang tidak cukup mahir dalam hal kerajinan tangan. Cara ini saya serap dari beberapa video tutorial yang saya tonton di youtube dan akhirnya saya modifikasi sedikit sesuai dengan bahan yang saya punya.

Obyek : Kipas Angin 16 inch merk SANEX

Alat dan Bahan :

Bearing 608z 2 pcs.
Lem Dektone.
Lakban kertas 24 mm
Obeng Plus
PVC Elbow ½ Inch.

Langkah langkah pemasangan :

Bongkar cover depan dan belakang dinamo kipas angin.
Copot bushing kipang angin.
Masukan bearing 608z ke as rotor, jika kurang pas bisa diamplas sendikit. Bearing seri 608z diameter lubangnya paling pas untuk as rotor kipas 16 inch yang ada di pasaran yaitu 8 mm. Jika terlalu longgar juga tidak bagus karena bearing justru tidak akan berputar sempurna karena longgar.
Potong Elbow PVS kira kira lebih tinggi sedikit atau minimal sama dari tinggi bearing, karena fungsi utama dari potongan dari Elbow ini adalah untuk dudukan bearing di cover dinamo depan dan belakang.
Kemudian masukan bearing ke Elbow PVC, memang jika dicoba, bearing akan langsung pas masuk. Saya melapisi lagi dengan lakban kertas ( 1 lapis ) di bagian luar bearing agar tidak goyang / oblak. Karena jika tidak presisi ada kemungkinan rotor bisa bergesekan dengan dinding stator.
Lapisi bagian rotor kipas angin dengan 1 lapis lakban kertas, hal ini tergantung pada lebar celah antara rotor dan dinding stator dinamo. Jika memang cukup luas maka bisa diberi 2 lapis lakban kertas. Trik ini merupakan trik paling simpel dan presisi untuk memasakan as rotor lurus / center.
Siapkan lem Dektone, kemudian lapisi secara merata di penampang pipa elbow yang akan ditempel ke besi cover dinamo. Usahakan yang ditempat adalah bagian yang tidak digergaji ( cetakan pabrik). Karena cenderung lebih rata dan presisi dibanding dengan potongan yang kita gerjaji jika ditempel ke plat cover dinamo.
Kemudian pasang besi kumparan pada cover dinamo depan, setelah pas baru masukan rotor yang sudah terpasang bearing dan potongan pipa elbow yang sudah dilapisi lem, masukan secara perlahan sampai pipa elbow menempel pada plat cover depan. Jika anda seorang amatir dan tidak cekatan seperti saya, maka usahakan adonan lem dekton dibuat secara bertahap ( pvc untuk bearing depan dahulu, ketika sudah ditempel baru dibuat adonan untuk bearing belakang) , karena jika terlalu lama maka lem sudah agak mengental dan sulit dioleskan pada pipa pvc. Pada saat memasang rotor pada bearing depan, bisa dicoba diputar putar untuk memastikan rotor tidak bergesek pada dinding stator. Jika sudah OK ( tidak bergesek dan lancar ) maka pasang bearing belakang lalu kemudian pasang cover belakang lalu setelah menutup putar kembali as rotor dan pastikan lancar dan tidak bergeser. Jika sudah lalu baut ke empat ujung cover depan belakang agar merekat pada besi kumparan dan biarkan selama 30 menit.
Setelah 30 menit kemudian bongkar lagi lalu tambahkan lem pada pinggiran pipa PVC agar melekat lebih kuat di bagian cover depan dan belakang. Anda bia melihat prosesnya di video di bawah ini, hanya saya merubah dudukan dengan pipa PCV ½ inch ( Elbow).

Nah setelah langkah ke-9 jika spul dinamo anda tidak rusak, seharusnya kipas angin bisa dipakai kembali. Nah Pada kasus yang saya alami, yang terjadi adalah spul dinamo juga rusak / terbakar, sehingga putaran menjadi lemah meskipun sudah pakai level 3 speed-nya.

Hal ini adalah kasus yang umum terjadi dimana spul dinamo terbakar karena bushing sudah aus sehingga putaran dinamo menjadi berat. Sekring (warna putih) yang terpasang juga tidak berefek / memutus aliran listrik ketika spul / kumparan dinamo sudah panas.

Akhirnya saya coba mencari spul dinamo secara online, adapun harganya cukup mahal jika dibandingkan kita membeli dinamo baru ( after market ) yang sudah dipasang bearing. Kemudian kemungkinan kedua adalah cocok tidak nya dengan casing dinamo yang lama.

Akhirnya saya pun membeli dinamo yang dilengkapi bearing secara utuh secara offline di toko onderdil kipas angin dekat rumah ( gambar di atas )

Memang ada beberapa penyesuaian antara lain dudukan dinamo yang harus disolder sedikit. Yang lain semuanya pas saja.

Dudukan dinamo baru lebih rendah sehingga harus disolder dudukan bautnya.

Nah, bagi pembaca yang ingin ganti bearing kipas angin, saran saya adalah ganti bearing ketika kipas belum rusak, karena jika kipas angin anda merk yang “biasa” saja bukan terkenal akan sulit mencari persamaan partnya.

Akhirnya saya berniat memasang bearing pada kipas angin saya yang satu lagi ( yang belum rusak ), merk Midea ternyata eh ternyata dinamo-nya berbeda dan lumayan sulit untuk dibongkar,nanti akan saya buat tulisan tersendiri mengenai pemasangan bearing di dinamo kipas angin Midea.

Error 1062 duplicate entry For Primary

Sometimes if you work with MySQL/MariaDB database, you’ve got "suprises". One day ago I’ve got MySQL Error when I de-activated primay key on one table, and then re-activate. I’ve got an error like the image above.

When I check the record that show on error message, I found that record is already unique. It shouldn't be cause an error.

Then, how I did solve those problem.

Well, maybe Solution Number one below solution is not quite practical or good enought but it's work for me.

Solution Number One

Step 1. First Backup your Database, if something goes wrong.

Step 2. run SQL : SELECT DISTINCT * FROM sourcetable

Step 3. Export or Copy Paste the query result to Excel File

Step 4. Create SQL Script to inserting data

Step 5. DELETE source table

Step 6. Run SQL Script that we have created on Excel to inserting data.

Re-Active Primary Key

Step 7. Re-Activate Primary Key on source table

Solution Number Two:

This is quite similiar with solution number one, but this is more "advanced" and using with pure SQL.

Step 1. "Clone" table from source table with SQL to clone table

INSERT TNTO clone_table SELECT * FROM source_table

Step 2. DELETE source table

Step 3. Insert table source from clone table using SELECT DISTINCT

INSERT TINO source_table SELECT DISTINCT * FROM clone_table

Step 4. Re-Activate Primary key on source table

Maybe it's a MariaDB bug or MariaDB/MySQL still keeps primary key records when we deactivate the primary key on another table/system that we don't know yet if we are not cleaning the data ( delete all). Then when we re-activate the primary key, it causes the error message above.

Sometimes, when we are trying to connect MySQL/MariaDB database, it returns an error “[Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified”

In my case, When I’m using Visual Basic 6 and I never change the line of codes for the connection module, suddenly it returns an error like the above. I’m trying to find the error through the error message.

Then, after I googled the solution, I found that I must add New Data Source on ODBC. So, I open the ODBC and add New Data Source on the System DSN tab, but it still returned an error.

Another thought is MySQL Connector driver installed is for 32-bit, but when I checked the version it’s for 64-bit.

Again, adding a parameter on the connection string: Persist Security Info=true, inspired by my old case about the SQL Server connection string, and still not solved.

Finally, IT SOLVED by changing MySQL ODBC Driver from MySQL 8.0 Unicode Driver to MySQL ODBC 5.1 Driver.

My Conclusion is that the MySQL ODBC 8.0 Unicode Driver has bugs, that cause when Visual Basic try to connect through the driver, the MSADO library doesn’t recognize the driver and returns an error “[Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified”

With the same error pattern, maybe you can change the MySQL driver as I did, and you can also downgrade the driver version. I'm using version 5.01.6 (mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.6-winx64) that works to my case.

How to Make Custom Sort on Google Data Studio

In many cases, by default, Google Data Studio uses alphabetical order to sort the data. For example, sorting names like below :

Aaron
Harper
Jack
James
Noah
Oliver

But how can we create a custom sort that isn’t alphabetical? For example, when sorting grades from Pre-K to K-12.

And here are the steps on how we make a custom sort on Google Data Studio.

1. On the Data pane add a new field

2. Let’s say we make our field “Grade PG-K12”, and add the code below on the formula box.

As you can see, we are using CASE, and it works the same way as IF-THEN function. It means WHEN the field “Grade” value is "PG” then it returns 1 and so on ( 2, 3, 4, 5,..).

Then Save and click Finished.

3. On the Chart pane, change the Sort Option using our new Field, and set it to Ascending, and by default google normally pickup “SUM”. But remember this option can vary related to each case.

4. And now we can sort our data using our custom sort.

How to Remove Password from Protected Sheet on Ms. Excel

There are several ways to remove password from the protected sheet, but I am choosing one that is simplest and easier. That is Using Google Sheets.

Open Google sheet on your browser
Click File – Import, and upload your protected Excel files. Choose an option: Replace Spreadsheet.
Then Click File – Download as Microsoft ( .xlsx ) files.
Open downloaded Excel files and you have unprotected Excel files from your original protected Excel files. It’s Worked!

For your information, I already tried using VBA Editor.

Open the Excel file.
Press "Alt + F11" to open the VBA editor.
In the VBA editor, click on "Insert" and then choose "Module" to insert a new module. In the module window, paste the following code:

Then Press "F5" to run the code. This will unprotect all sheets in the workbook and Save the file

And the third way is by save as your protected Excel files to .zip files and then edit the .xml files. Yes maybe it works but it’s too complicated for some users.

How to Find the Web Server of Any Website

Today, I will show you 3 ways to find web server type from any website. So, what is it used for? Well, sometimes we want to know about the technologies behind them. As a computer geeks or whatever we want to know what technologies they used. Is it Apache or nginx? Well without further ado, let’s do this.

1. Using a random path. Did you ever have an experience? When you type the wrong addresses or path after the URL name from a website. It returns a 404 error and shows the webserver type on the screen browsee. So, with this pattern of errors, we can using this for achieve our goal, see the web server type.

But this kind of tricks, won’t work on a website that has a redirect 404 error setting. So when you type the wrong address or path it always redirects to the same page. For example, Google, when we type:www.google.com/sdhkjshk

It returns an error message like below.

2. Using the curl command. Type curl -I www.websitename.com and press Enter. On Windows you must install curl first, you can see here. But you can use a free online Linux terminal on https://bellard.org/

Here you can use the curl command without installing anything on your machine.

3. Using Browser Development tools. On Google Chrome, we are using Inspect Element menu, On Microsoft Edge, you can use Developer Tools ( Crlt + Shift + I ). On Both Browser, you can right-click on the screen, and click pop up menu Inspect.

With Chrome, you can choose Network then refresh the web page with F5 or refresh button. Then choose the list component on Name Windows on the left. And see Headers information, here you can scroll down and find the Server Information, like the image below.
With Edge, it is totally the same as Chrome. Why? Because they are built on the same framework that is Chromium.

How to Make WhatsApp Office Visit / Clinic Notification on Skyward

As we know, until this article has been released. On Skyward, we are unable to make notifications through WhatsApp. Like Office Visit / Clinic Notification, Skyward only has e-mail notification. And the good news is, today I will share, how to make Office Visit Notification through WhatsApp using Skyward API and WhatsApp API.

First, you have to download Qmlative SDK from Skyward. If you have not used the Qmlativ SDK Explorer, you can download it by going to the Partner Portal, navigating to Documentation, clicking on Qmlativ, choosing "C# SDK", then choosing "Download" and then clicking the "Click here to download" link. Once you have downloaded and extracted the .zip file, open up the folder and find the "QmlativSDKExplorer.exe.config" file and replace the following values:

BaseUrl : this should be the API Url that you are using to connect
Key : this should be your client key
Secret : this should be your client secret

Once you've done that save and close the config file, then run the QmlativSDKExplorer.exe file. Once it launches, simply click "Explore", and you should see something like the following image.

In the box on the left, expand the "Health" node, then scroll down to the "NameOfficeVisit" node and expand it, then expand the "Fields" node, and select each of the fields that you would want to include in the response from that object (note: there may not be many from this object that you're actually interested in at this time). Scroll a little further down to the "Relationships" node and expand that node, and you will see all the relationships available to the NameOfficeVisit object, such as "Name", expand the nodes that you are interested in pulling data from, and you will notice that they, too, have "Fields" and "Relationships" nodes under them. Also note, the grayed out nodes are not unavailable, they are usually relationships that will tend to create cartesian products if they are used, so they are not recommended.

It’s important to save your selected item to generate query on Qmlativ SDK because Skyward have maybe a hundred or thousand fields on the database and connections for sure. From my experience, it is hard to remember the selected field and intuitively choose the correct field. that’s why saving your selected fields is really important.

After you have done with the selected field. You can scroll all the way back up to the "NameOfficeVisit" node, and select it (don't uncheck it), and you should see a "Preview Data" button on the right-side of the screen. When you click that "Preview Data" button you will notice that it will open a screen allowing you to preview the data, but it will also add an entry to the bottom panel of the original window with a GET request that you can copy (though it doesn't scroll to the right, so you will want to copy the line and the line below to make sure you get everything).

Using that information, you can then translate it into your POST request by copying the search fields over to your query fields for your POST. The only thing I would recommend is taking off the "%5B" and "%5D" after the "searchField" as it is unnecessary. But if you still using that code, it will still work, but just makes your query unnecessarily longer.

Now, with postman you can test the link to query data.

Error “Data supplied is of wrong type” When Copying File from Smartphone to Computer

Error "Data supplied is of wrong type.

This error appears when I was copying a file from Smartphone ( Samsung S7 Edge ) to my Laptop. I have bought two micro USB cable data, but still errors when copying data. I thought that was a data cable issue, and it caused corrupted the file when transferred through the data cable

The error message is “Data supplied is of wrong type”.

My second try was installing USB Driver from Samsung. In my thought that if the laptop doesn’t have USB Driver installed it caused the problem above. But the error still appears.

But Finally, the solution is simple, you need to reboot your smartphone. And everything's gonna be OK.

How to send an Image(base64) to an API with Visual Basic

If from my last article, I explained how to make an API Call using Visual Basic. Today I will explain how to send an image to an API with Visual Basic.

The common way to send an image to an API is by using base64 encoding. If you don’t know what is base64 encoding is, you can see it here first.

There are so many ways to encode images in base64 format. But in this article, I’m using Visual Basic 6.0 to encode the image.

Without further ado, let’s read the step below.

First You can download the example base64 VB class here.

With that source code, you can try to upload an image. But that base64 class that I’ve downloaded has a “bug” that causes an error when we send an image to an API.

Here’s why?

That class is generating Enter characters or Carriage Return/CR characters causing an error because base64 encoding results are “dirty”. We can use Ms. Word to see these characters

So, the solution is we should remove all CR characters with Replace function on VB6.

How To Remove Subject on Skyward Report Card

Hi, Guys. Today let me share with you, another tip for Skyward, about how to remove selected subjects from Report Card on Skyward.

Well, sometimes teachers make mistakes when they put scores on subjects that they are not in charge. So when the report card is released, there is a subject that is not supposed listed on related students. And now the problem is how we remove it from the report card. There are 2 ways that you can do to solve it, and I will tell you how.

A. Exclude Subject from the Report Card

Go to the menu Scheduling – Course, then select Course / Subject and then select Section.
Click on the arrow icon, then click Class Roster.
Select the Student Name that you want to remove from the subject on his/her report card and then click the arrow icon.
Checked for the option “Exclude from Report Cards and Transcripts” and then click Save Back or Save Changes.
Go to Menu GradeBook – Utilities – Recalculate Gradebooks
Check the option “Recalculate Closed Grade Buckets” and then Click Next.
Choose the Courses / Subject that you want to process removing, then click Run Process
Please regenerate the Report Card only for related students.

B. Remove the Score on the Gradesheet

This second solution to removing the subject from the report card is more complicated than the first one. With this solution, you must run a few steps

Open Closed Grading Period if you have closed the Grading Period
Remove all Score assignments to related students on Gradesheet.
Go to Scheduling – Mass Delete Requests or Sections
And then remove the student from the related subject.
Go to Menu GradeBook – Utilities – Recalculate Gradebooks
Please regenerate the Report Card only for related students.

Check Gradebook – Entity Group Configuration – Grading Scale, choose the grading scale that you are using, and click the arrow button.

Click courses, then choose the course grading scale group that you are using, and click the arrow button.

On the update filter icon, click to add the subject that the score is not showing on the report card.
Check Gradebook - Entity Group Configuration - Calculation Group. Choose the Calculation Group that you are using right now.

Click the arrow button , and then choose Courses. Check on the list of subjects, and make sure that the subject that you looking for is there.

If you can’t find it, you must add the subject through Update Filter on the upper right corner. Then expand the Advanced Filter and click the “funnel” icon. Then add the subject.
Remove Unused Grading Scales, if you have unused grading scales that related to subject that the scores not showing on report card. Then remove the grading scales through menu Gradebook - Utilities - Mass Delete Section Grading Scales.

Choose Grading Scale that have Grading Scale Type ( Multiple ). Be Carefull , when you do this process, choose only Subject that has a problem.
Recalculate Gradebooks. Sometimes, if you change the setting like steps 1 and 2, you have to recalculate the Gradebook with Menu Gradebook – Recalculate Gradebooks, to show the scores related to subjects.

I found one problem that caused the score did not appear on the report card. And the solution is similar like solution number 1, which is to remove and add subjects. It's very difficult to check a case like this because when you check all setting(grading scale, calculation group,etc) is looking good and nothing goes wrong but the score won't show up on the report card.

Go to Gradebook – Entity Group Configuration – Grading Scale, then click Course, choose the grading scale group that you are using, click the arrow button, and at the right corner click Update Filter. Then remove the subject that has a problem, and click Save. After that repeat all those steps but to adding the subject that you remove before.

The last case is, when you process report cards, some students cannot be processed. it looks confusing, but when you check through View Query on result report card windows.

You can analyze that the problem comes from incomplete student data, that is parent's data. So, the solution is to complete student data and you can process all of those students. it usually happened from a new student, that has incomplete student data.

How to Make Custom Sort Subject on the Skyward Report Card

Today, I will share some tips about Skyward. If you don’t know about Skyward, you can see it here. On Skyward at the end of term. We always make a report card for students, report card contain list of subject, but sometime we need to sort list of subject in specific sort or custom sort. So, I will tell you how to make a custom sort on the Skyward report card.

Step 1 : You must have a grouping plan for all subjects that you want to sort on the view report card. For Example :

Group 1 : English A / Indonesian A

Group 2: Indonesian B/ English B/ Spanish AB

Group 3: BM/PSYCHOLOGY/ECO

Group 4: ESS/PHY/BIO/CHEMISTRY

Group 5: Mathematics

Group 6: Visual Art

Step 2 : Go to Menu Scheduling – Course and click Arrow Button. Go to General - Course Type, then you can choose the grouping number referred to your grouping plan in Step 1.

Step 3 : Go to Menu Report Manager, choose Report that you want to edit, and click Design Report. You can select which section where the subjects show. Add the Course Type Code field on the row section and then hide.

To set the sort, you can click up and down arrow button ( Section Sort ). And you can select Course Type ( ASC ) and check the Keep Together Option.

Step 4 : Save The Report Design, and then Unpublish and re-Publish again the Report to applied the changes.

Aplikasi Antrian Penjemputan Anak Sekolah berbasis RFID

Simple Student Pickup System

Kali ini saya akan sharing mengenai aplikasi sederhana yang sudah saya buat. Aplikasi ini adalah solusi untuk masalah yang timbul ketika terjadikan penumpukan antrian kendaraan atau mobil pada saat murid murid di sebuah sekolah pulang dan dijemput oleh orang tua dengan menggunakan mobil. Masalah tersebut timbul karena pada saat orang tua / penjemput datang, si murid yang bersangkutan belum siap di titik penjemputan sehingga penjemput / mobil harus menunggu murid tersebut. Atau murid tesebut tidak tahu bahwa orang tua atau penjeput sudah datang. Kalapun tahu misalnya dengan banyaknya antrian penjemput, murid tidak tahu antrian urut berapa mobil yang akan menjemput dia, sehingga akan terjadi waktu menunggu yang cukup lama yang menyebabkan kemacetan.

Hal ini tidak akan terjadi atau jarang terjadi jika sekolah tersebut mempunyai lokasi atau luas lahan yang ideal, akan tetapi jika sekolah tersebut berada di tengah kota atau di dekat jalan raya yang ramai tentu saja akan membuat kemacetan yang cukup panjang.

Nah, oleh karena itu dengan aplikasi sederhana ini, maka masalah itu bisa terpecahkan. Aplikasi yang saya buat cukup sederhan dan saya mengusahakan less code alias minim baris kode. Aplikasi ini saya buat menggunakan Microsoft Visual basic 6.0 kemudian dikombinasi dengan database server MySQL dan Google Data Studio. Mungkin kalau boleh dibilang dibanding aplikasi yang ada di pasaran, ini aplikasi yang paling sederhana tapi bisa memecahkan masalah yang ada.

Aplikasi ini terdiri dari 3 bagian / modul :

Program pembaca RFID ( RFID reader ) yang saya buat dari Visual Basic 6.0
Database Server ( MySQL ) di Web Server.
Google Data Studio untuk menampilkan antrian murid yang akan dijemput.

Cara kerja program :

Pertama Aplikasi pembaca RFID akan menerima inputan dari RFID reader yang berupak kode unit kartu RFID atau sejenisnya ( bisa dalam bentuk E-KTP, SIM, atau Kartu RFID dari berbagai macam merk ). Kebetulan RFID reader yang saya gunakan adalah Mifare yang bisa didapatkan atau anda beli secara online hanya seharga ratusan ribu.

Kemudian kode unik ini saya sambungan dengan database siswa, jadi setiap kartu atau beberapa kartu RFID bisa digunakan oleh satu kode siswa ( many to one relationship ). Hal ini mungkin terjadi jika yang menjemput siswa tersebut bisa dari ayah, ibu atau memang ada driver / penjemput khusus.
Setelah terbaca maka aplikasi akan mengecek apakah kode kartu tersebut yang sudah masuk database atau belum dan merujuk pada kode siswa yang ada jika tidak ada maka kartu akan ditolak. Tetapi jika ada maka dicek apakah kode murid tersebut sudah masuk dalam tabel antrian atau belum, jika belum maka aplikasi akan menambah record/data murid tersebut ke tabel antrian. Jika sudah maka posisi-nya adalah menghapus data murid tersebut di tabel antrian, agar tidak muncul lagi di antrian.
Kemudian di sisi murid atau guru atau pihak sekolah, bisa melihatnya dari aplikasi Google Data Studio yang sudah berbentuk web based. Sehingga bisa dilihat di laptop, televisi,Smartphone, PC atau sejenisnya hanya dengan membagikan link dan menggunakan browser.

Tampilan di Google Data Studio ini bisa kita setting untuk refresh data per 10, 20 detik atau berapapapun sesuai kebutuhan. Tampilan di Google Data Studio adalah berbentuk List berisi kolom Nama Murid, Kelas dan bisa ditambah lagi sesuai kebutuhan.

Main Goal atau Tujuan Utama dari aplikasi ini adalah “ Students Waiting for the Cars, Not Cars Waiting for the Students ” . Sehingga tidak terjadi penumpukan antrian mobil / kendaraan yang akan merugikan banyak pihak. Dengan aplikasi sederhana ini semoga bisa membuat efek yang besar di kehidupan kita sehari hari.

Hal yang bisa dikembangkan adalah aplikasi mobile untuk membaca RFID, sehingga kita tidak perlu membangun pos berisi komputer dan RFID reader serta jaringan internet untuk mengirim data ke database server. Karena terkadang tidak semua sekolah mempunyai lokasi yang ideal untuk membangun infrastruktur tersebut. Sehingga petugas cukup membawa smartphone untuk membaca kartu dari penjemput dan hanya digunakan pada saat anak sekolah pulang,

Ketika anda sudah selesai menginstall connector tersebut, anda akan mendapati pesan error yang sama, sampai tulisan ini dibuat, bugs / error ini belum diperbaiki.

Solusinya adalah : Download MySQL Connector versi yang lebih rendah yaitu 8.0.24 bukan 8.0.30

Setelah anda selesai menginstall maka anda anda menutup aplikasi Power BI terlebih dahulu kemudian buka kembali dan anda akan bisa mengkoneksikan Power BI ke database MySQL tanpa masalah.

Cara Membuat Query Dengan SQL Server Untuk Visualisasi Data

Kali ini saya akan berbagi tips untuk membuat query / SQL dengan SQL Server agar data yang kita ambil bisa untuk digunakan dalam membuat Visualisasi Data dengan Google Data Studio.

Contoh yang saya gunakan adalah menggunakan database dari program yang dibuat oleh pihak lain bukan database dari program yang kita buat sendiri, meskipun tips ini juga bisa digunakan untuk database yang kita buat sendiri. Dan tentunya akan lebih mudah karena kita akan sangat paham dengan desain database yang kita buat.

Langkah Pertama yaitu Tentukan data apa saja yang diperlukan.

Contoh : Kita akan membuat visualisasi data untuk grafik nilai pelajaran tiap siswa per kelas dalam 1 tahun ajaran ( Semester 1 dan Semester 2 ) tahun 2021 s/d 2022. Kemudian data apa saja yang perlu kita tampilkan, misal kita memerlukan data nama siswa, nilai, kelas, dan kapan ( tanggal ) nilai tersebut diberikan.

Langkah kedua yaitu Mapping Data.

Pada sebagian besar program atau aplikasi yang menggunakan database akan menggunakan Relational Database, yang akan menggunakan field primary key untuk menghubungkan data dari tabel satu dengan tabel lainnya. Contoh : pada database program untuk system informasi sekolah kita mempunyai table Siswa yang mempunyai field primary key : kodesiswa, dan kodesiswa akan menjadi foreign key pada table lainnya dan biasanya berulang. Seperti gambar di bawah ini:

Temukan dan Catat tabel dan field yang diperlukan.

Tips untuk mencari field (primary key) dengan cepat pada database SQL Server anda bisa menggunakan Query / SQL di bawah ini:

SELECT Table_Name, Column_Name

FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS

WHERE TABLE_CATALOG = ‘NamaDatabase’

AND COLUMN_NAME LIKE '%NamaField%'

Jika tabel dalam database menggunakan schema maka anda perlu membuat Query lagi dengan mencari tabel yang sudah anda temukan pada langkah pertama. Seperti dibawah ini:

SELECT SCHEMA_NAME(T.SCHEMA_ID) AS SCHEMA_NAME,

T.NAME AS TABLE_NAME,

T.CREATE_DATE,

T.MODIFY_DATE

Setelah selesai menemukan daftar tabel dan field yang anda perlukan adalah:

Langkah ketiga : Membuat Query / SQL

Sebelum anda membuat query / SQL anda perlu mengetahui bagaimana sebuah perintah SQL / Query dijalankan, agar anda dapat membuat query dengan benar dan menghasilkan data yang tepat.

Berikut ini adalah urutan Proses Query :

Mengambil Data (FROM, JOIN)
Filter Data (WHERE)
Grouping Data(GROUP BY)
Group Filter (HAVING)
Memilih data yang akan ditampilkan (SELECT)
Mengurutkan Data & Memilah/Membagi data (ORDER BY & LIMIT )

Dari urutan di atas, maka sebuah query akan mengambil data terlebih dahulu dengan mengeksekusi perintah FROM dan JOIN ( jika ada), kemudian mem-filter data yang diambil dengan perintah WHERE dan seterusnya. Artinya memilih tabel kemudian field yang benar adalah hal penting dan utama dalam membuat query, karena jika salah tabel kemudian salah memilih field yang tentu saja pasti salah, maka data yang dihasilkan hanya merupakan data sampah.

Untuk perintah JOIN, anda juga harus paham dengan berbagai tipe JOIN(INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, RIGHT JOIN, FULL OUTER JOIN), karena akan menghasilkan hasil yang berbeda. Anda bisa mempelajarinya di sini dahulu. Karena jika anda tidak paham, ketika ada kesalahan hasil data, anda akan sulit memperbaiki perintah SQL-nya. Anda bisa membayangkan, proses mengambil data ini seperti menambang "emas" dari tumpukan data.

Pada program atau datatabase yang dibuat oleh pihak lain, meskipun anda diberi akses untuk menjalankan query / SQL biasanya anda tidak diberi akses untuk membuat view atau tabel temporary. Tetapi jika database ini adalah buatan anda sendiri tentu tidak menjadi masalah untuk membuat query yang lebih kompleks. Oleh karena itu yang akan saya bagikan disini adalah membuat query dengan teknik yang sederhana yaitu dengan perintah SELECT, INNER JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY, CASE. Selain lebih mudah dipahami oleh diri kita sendiri, juga mudah dipahami oleh teman yang lain.

Misal pada Langkah kedua kita sudah mendapatkan tabel dan field yang kita perlukan, misal Tabel : SISWA ( field : KodeSiswa, NamaSiswa ), PELAJARAN( KodePelajaran, NamaPelajaran), TRANSAKSINILAISISWA ( KodeSiswa, , KodePelajaran, Nilai, Tanggal). Gunakan INNER JOIN atau perintah JOIN yang lain untuk menghubungkan antara primary key dan foreign key antar tabel. Untuk ini anda harus paham bagaimana dan dimana aplikasi menyimpan data di tabel dan menggunakan field apa saja. Misal ada field untuk menyimpan status siswa tersebut aktif atau tidak , ini tentu saja harus anda tambahkan dalam query setelah perintah WHERE: misal StatusSiwsa = 1 ( True ).

Hasil Query di atas akan menghasilkan data seperti di bawah ini , yang bisa digunakan untuk Visualisasi Data pada Goole Data Studio

Salah satu masalah yang sering muncul pada query / SQL menggunakan INNER JOIN adalah munculnya data double. Tentu saja anda harus memahami cara kerja query dan paham koneksi antar data. Solusinya biasanya anda harus mengurangi pengkoneksian data dengan INNER JOIN yang berulang menggunakan primary key atau foreign key yang sama pada tabel yang berbeda, karena akan memunculkan data yang sama lebih dari satu.

Dan dari sini anda akan mengetahui apakah desain database tersebut dibuat menggunakan teknik normalisasi data atau tidak, karena jika tidak akan timbul banyak redudansi data sehingga andapun akan kesulitan dalam membuat query untuk menghasilkan data yang valid.

Langkah keempat: Cek apakah data hasil dari query sudah valid, untuk langkah ini anda bisa mengecek dengan metode sampling ataupun random cek. Apalagi untuk database yang dibuat oleh pihak lain, anda harus yakin dahulu data yang dihasilkan sudah valid, sehingga anda tidak menarik data sampah dari query yang anda buat. Karena data yang salah akan menghasilkan analisa dan keputusan yang salah.

Pada prakteknya tentu anda harus menggunakan sedikit improvisasi, tetapi menggunakan metode yang sama. Jadi anda harus menguasai inti dari metode ini, sehingga bisa diaplikasikan di berbagai kasus yang berbeda. Di bawah ini saya mencontohkan dengan data yang real sehingga bisa menjadi gambaran yang lebih jelas.
