Hi, I’m Sithesh C Govind – a writer, filmmaker, creative director, and someone who still wonders how I became “creative” without ever trying too hard.

This book is not a textbook on creativity. It’s not filled with complex theories or jargon you’ll never use. Instead, it’s filled with real stories, simple truths, humour, and lessons I’ve learned from my life working in films, art, writing, design, and observing people like you and me.

In these pages, I share what creativity actually feels like in day-to-day life – not just in big projects or artistic masterpieces, but in small decisions, conversations, cooking, problem-solving, or even while daydreaming under a tree. I believe everyone is creative by birth. It’s just that school, society, and overthinking convince us otherwise.

I will not teach you how to become an artist or filmmaker like me (unless you really want to). But I will guide you to notice your own creativity that’s hiding behind self-doubt, seriousness, and the fear of judgment.

Whether you’re a professional artist stuck in a block, a student wondering if you’re “good enough,” or someone who believes creativity is only for special people, this book will shift your perspective. Because creativity is not a luxury for the gifted few – it’s your birthright. You use it every day without realising it.

I’ve written this in simple English, the way I speak to my friends and students. No lectures, no strict rules – just reflections, little humorous reminders, and honest insights that have helped me and many others unlock our best ideas.

Review

Idu Entha Lokavayya! This Sithesh C Govind-helmed movie is rather unique. This storyline is unlike anything I have ever seen in Indian movies. The filmmaker, who is also the film's writer, made a brave attempt. Its plot is complex, with numerous characters presented to the viewer in the first part. When I exited the movie during the intermission, my thoughts went crazy. I was attempting to make sense of it all, but I was becoming completely lost. I became curious about how all of these people would be related to one another and how the story would conclude as a result of this. This caught my curiosity in the latter part. The writer has skillfully made all the connections, cleared out all the plots, and matched every tale. I was thrilled that every character received a closure at the end. Even when the movie was over, I continued to think about it. That is the magic of cinema.

This Environment Campaign shall Enhance Nature Through New Technology!

CreativeDirector.in is Art Partner for this wonderful Environmental Programme

A novel campaign http://evagreenindia.org/ all set to be initiated in July 2017 is also a large scale attempt to flourish the greenery of Coastal Karnataka even further. ‘Eva Green’ is a non-political, non-profitable and non-religious campaign about to begin in Mangalore with big plans to enhance the natural assets of the city.

Eva Green makes sure that their saplings shall grow to serve their purpose through GIS monitoring. Every sapling will have GIS technology implemented within, which means that the organisers of the campaign shall keep an eye on how well the sapling is being taken care of.

The primary purpose of this campaign is to plant 1 lakh saplings around the city within this year, and the organisers have more grand plans for the city to involve as well.

The involvement is not demanding in any way, and the official website http://evagreenindia.org/ provides all necessary information; should you have any doubts.
