Folder Access

Sometimes we do not want the files we see other people for various reasons and interests. Well, these files can be organized or we put into one or several folders based on specific categories or at random, then the folder can lock using a password so that not just anyone can see it. One application that can be utilized for this purpose is the Folder Access 2.1.

Several advantages of Folder Access including:

• Folders can be kept locked other storage devices such as: external hard drive, etc., without losing Folder. Condition: password must be the same..
• Folder locked in an external storage medium that we can re-access the hard disk is damaged. Requirement is the same: to be the same password and reinstallation at the new disk with the same version..

To use Folder Access follow the steps below:

1. Download the software first in folder_access_2.1.zip and immediately installed on your PC.

2. Click 2x Folder Access icon.

3. In the dialog box that appears, enter the password that will be used to lock and open the folder.

4. Open Windows Explorer, right click on folders to be protected and click on Lock Folder menu.

5. In the dialog box that appears, enter the same password with a master password when installing Folder Access software.

6. If you enter the password correctly, then will appear to confirm that the folder was locked successfully.

7. If you want to open a folder that has been locked earlier, then you simply click 2x on the folder. Once again it would appear the password field box to the key unlocked.

SaveIt is free software that allows you to protect data and applications by adding a password to the data or application. So, when you open a data file or application will display a dialog box to enter a password.

How to use SaveIt see the following:

1. Run the software SaveIt!
2. Click Browse button located below the box “Edit File Name”.
3. If you want to give a password on the file type applications then the option “Files of type” select Application. If you want to give a password on the document type then select “to a program linked to documents”.
4. Then click Next button.
5. Fill the password as you want on the field “Password and Repetition”.
   
6. Click next button.
7. Will appear the windows progress bar that marks the activation process password.

If you do step correctly, then when you open a document or run an application that has been protected will display a dialog box to fill in the password as shown below:

Click Start button to open documents or run applications.

If you want to disable the protection on that file then click the Setup tab and click Remove button protection.

Bad Sector on the disk in general there are 2 kinds, namely mechanical/physical and software. #any_command –help
Displays help information about the use of orders. “-help” similar to the DOS command “/h”.

#sudo
Superuser Do, get root or administrator access on a regular user without having to login as root user

#ls
Viewing the contents of a file from the active directory. On linux dir command alias only in the form of the ls command. For the ls command itself is often made alias ls –color, so that at the time of the ls colors displayed in accordance with home files, usually green to execute, and so on.

#ls -al
Viewing the entire contents of a file on the active directory with hidden files, and display screen per screen.

#cd directory
