Acts as an internal technical consultant to lead, define, and develop continuous improvement and redesign activities by providing expertise in Six Sigma (lean and variation reduction) tools.</li><li> Coaches and champions teams to identify and implement opportunities to improve program and process effectiveness.</li><li> Plans and conducts training to others who will support the execution of Six Sigma strategies and tools; provides guidance for successful achievement of Green Belt certifications.</li><li> Leads problem solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste/cost of poor performance.</li><li> Applies statistical methods/analysis to improve process capability, reduce process variation and optimizes break-through performance.</li><li> Design, drive and perform operational analysis of business processes.</li><li> Documents and institutionalizes using controls and scorecards to ensure lasting project benefits.</li><li> Identifies and leverages best practices across functional lines.</li><li> Practices expertise and demonstrates proficiency by applying the language of management (such as money, time, organization dynamics) and the language of individual contributors (such as implementation details, quality tools, statistical techniques, problem-solving methods).</li><li> Identifies key elements of process improvement and partners with process owners to deliver sustainable and repeatable change.</li><li> Develops and prepares metrics and related reports.</li><li> Provides technical direction/guidance to personnel as required.</li><li> Performs all other duties as assigned.<br></li></ul> <div class="staticcontentlinepanel"></div><div id="requisitionDescriptionInterface.d709412e313.row1" class="contentlinepanel" style="">  <h2 xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ftl="http://www.taleo.net/ftl" xmlns:htm="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="no-change-header-inline"><div class="inlinepanel"> Qualifications</div></h2>   <strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong><ul><li> BA/BS degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years related experience.
