Regluar indeed

2015-10-01T12:56:00.003-04:00

Top of the morning, afternoon & evening ZEDHEADS! Sometimes you don't know what your capable of until you give it try.

I have been hard act work with a really special project evolving one of my favorite shows, REGULAR SHOW

Not only am I a big fan of the show but I decided to try and put my hat in on trying to work for KABOOM who helps produce the comics for the show, lets check it out!

If your a fan of Regular Show, than this piece should speak for it self. I choose these four characters to launch my campaign to see if I have what it takes to do art for the comic series. Awhile back ago I did some practice runs on the main characters. On this piece I made a reference to a movie called, "A Clockwork Orange" I really like the bright colors of the show so I kept it traditional.

Here it is in black and white.

Although the property does not belong to me, this was truly a treat to draw. There will be plenty more of art for Regular Show coming so keep an eye out ZEDHEADS. Till next time, CHEERS!

Life's A Beach Pt.2

2015-09-02T11:40:00.000-04:00

LIFE! I drink it in like fine wine! Not just any cheap wine, but the kind that has been aged over a great amount of years. This piece reminds me as such a feeling. Gather around ZEDHEADS, and behold a very comfortable view.

On this peace I was imagining extreme beauty & comfort. What better than illustrating a combination of a beautiful woman enjoying a nice day at the beach. I've done other pieces about a beautiful woman enjoy the day at the beach, but with this one, I wanted to try something new with lighting. The background displays a good clash of light and dark. Its as if the rain wants to come out but is over powered by the light. The waves on the sea has a light chop to it, but not to stop anyone from taking a dip.

The young lady is in a comfortable bliss. Her eyes tell you a story of preparing to sleep, or just waking up from a brief nap. I wanted the colors not just be vivid in this piece, but to have a soothing flow for the eyes to explore.

Here it is in black & white

I had a great time creating this piece and I hope all who cared to view this enjoyed it. Tell next time, cheers :)

Speed Run

2015-07-30T22:15:00.003-04:00

Have you ever wanted to put yourself to the test? If you have a talent that you believe your good at, put yourself to the test with a speed run. Now just because your doing it faster doesn't make you better at it. Slow and steady can sometimes win the race. But what it will do is show how well you can do something in a small amount of time. Come along ZEDHEADS and let me show you another creation from the mind of... me, Kevin Guillaume.

What makes this piece special (at least to me) was that I created it in a two day span. One day too draw it and another day to color it. It was something I had never done so I was excited on what I was gonna conjure up. As usual I enjoy drawing the female body and I'm always into colorful funny art. So I combined the two to make this wonderful piece. I pictured a beautiful young lady holding magical stuffed animals captive. I wanted a good combination of colors so I made all the stuffed animals different colors as well as a multiple color gradient backdrop. I wanted the girl to have a dash of silliness which is why I hiked up her skirt. I wanted all who see this to get a laugh as well from what the stuffed animals were saying.

Here it is in black and white.

This is my first speed run. I really enjoyed creating this piece in such a short time and it really showed me that I have what it takes to create something cool in a short amount of time. Cheers ZEDHEADS

Slippery When Wet Starring: Jasmin Tosh

2015-05-29T22:01:00.000-04:00

Ever feeling like doing something beautiful. For me that normally is creating an art piece. A lot of times the art piece is an illustration a beautiful woman. Come along ZEDHEADS, today I would like to bless everyone with something beautiful to view for there enjoyment.

This is Jasmin Tosh Before I get to the person I would like too talk about the art piece. I wanted to keep the beauty of the woman the focus point, so I kinda made the background a little basic, but yet colorful. The pool wave effects are actually a first for me but I think I pulled it off. I believe the water glistering of Miss Tosh body really showed the sexy appeal side of her.

Now I met Miss Tosh a couple of months ago. After speaking with Miss Tosh for a couple of minutes, I really like how well spoken she was. She had a smile on her face through out our entire conversation, to me that say's a lot. Another thing I noticed about her was her eye for fashion. She told me she's a fashion blogger and would love for me to do an art piece on her. If you would like to know more about Miss Tosh visit her "ABOUT ME" page on her site. Check out her Instagram where it has tons of her photos to view.

Well I hope you ZEDHEADS enjoyed this latest piece. Time to get ready for FSC

Rock & Rule

2015-04-01T06:38:00.000-04:00

Greetings, and welcome to another awesome adventure here at ZODCORE. On this post I would like talk about your inner rock star. I believe (at one point) everyone wants to be a rock star. Waking up one day you say to yourself, "Hey I can totally reach those heights". Now there are many different ways to be a rock star. My inner rock star has always been to become an awesome artist. Now enter, "ROCK & RULE"

You don't need to have a stadium full of people to feel like a rock star, so I gave it a basement like feel to this piece. As you can see the rockers are not just having fun, but also have a deep understanding of rocking hard by the emotions on there faces. Some might say that the singer shirt is a little to much, but it just represents his style of metal and of course freedom of expression.

Here it is in black and white.

Weather it be an artist, athlete, song writer, actor, dancer, mechanic, or what ever it is that fancies you, I hope this art piece helps unleash your inner rock star. Till next time folks :)

Break The Walls Down!

2015-03-01T13:19:00.000-05:00

Sometimes through my art skills, I like to give thanks to others. Every now or then I would create a piece for a friend, a loved one or even a complete stranger that I don't know. It is also another way for me to show gratitude for having some of my sense in-tacked for me to complete these illustrations. At times, I have to remember where the true source of my abilities come from and create a special piece for my Father in Heaven, Jehovah.

I enjoyed the first piece I made for Jehovah called, "1 Timothy 2-12" so much I new I had to create another one for the Father. This particular piece talks about Jericho

For the most accurate knowledge of this piece I would advise you to go the links I have highlighted.

In this piece I wanted to give a vivid look on what the beginning results were when the wall started to collapse. Although the castle was built with rock and sand, I wanted to show a lush grass field to show that when it comes to choosing a place to live, a good location for water was needed.

Although other pics show many more people blowing trumpets, I wanted to focus on the castle crumbling down. The light coming from the ski represents an angle helping out Joseph and his descendants with the great task.

Here it is in black and white.

Well I hope all you ZEDHEADS enjoyed this piece I created for the Almighty God, Jehovah.

Something Regular Is Coming

2015-01-01T18:54:00.000-05:00

Have you ever thought of an idea and said, "Hey...I can do that". Ever saw something and said, "That could be me doing that"! Well ZEDHEADS, I have thought of something that I truly believe I should give my attention to, I'm talking about,

REGULAR SHOW

Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby—both employed as groundskeepers at a local park. Their regular attempts to slack off usually lead to surreal, extreme, and often supernatural misadventures. During these misadventures, they interact with the show's other main characters: Benson, Pops, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Skips, Thomas, Margaret, Eileen, and CJ.

I've decided to throw my hat in this awesomeness by submitting a proposal to some comic companies that deals with Regular Show. But first I would like to show you some quick ruff draft drawings of some of the characters.

These our characters Mordecai & Rigby. To me there like two pees in a pod...that fell in a pile of poo.

These our Skips & Muscle Man A.K.A Mitch Sorrenstein. There was a time Muscle Man was'nt so...well, FAT.

Here you have Benson & Pops. I think I kinda farmed Pops a little, but the finished product will be a lot more accurate.

Last but not least our Thomas & High Five Ghost. Ever wondered if HFG can take a dump...hhhmmm, ghost dump,.... hhmmmmm.

Watch this Episode and maybe, JUST MAYBE...it'll save your life!!!!!

I've been watching this show since it launched back in 2010 and I'm still addicted to it. So it is such a treat for me to actually submit some work based on the show to see if they liked it. I don't know if J.G. Quintel (Creator of the show) will even acknowledge this even after I submit it to all the connections that I can, but hey, you don't know what you can do unless you give it your best shot!

Oh PS: All the characters are taking a dump :)

Welcome ZEDHEADS, to another addition of the blog section here at ZODCORE.com
Today, I would like to not only just show a new piece, but also talk about whom the piece is dedicated to. So pull up your seat and dive into another smashing article here @ZODCORE!

This is Tony Rodriguez.

Like me he's one heck of an artist. I decided to do a piece for him cause he's on totally cool guy. I've seen Mr. Rodriguez skills elevate over the years, so as an artist I have tons of respect for his craft. I've come to find out later as a human being, he's one righteous dude.

Please visit his site to see some of the excellent work Mr. Rodriguez has to offer. I guaranty you'll find something there that will tickle your fancy :-P

RODRIGUEZILLUSTRATOR.com

First time I met Tony, he did this really cool kick flip. He said its been awhile since he did that and was amazed he was able to pull it off. So I figured this piece should have him skateboarding. In the foreground is Tony getting rad with one of my favorite skateboarding moves, "The Boneless". The sun light casting the shadow on the ground was a little difficult, but it was much needed to make it look realistic. I wanted the background to match the culture of skateboarding so I tagged the wall behind him with different styles of graffiti. And making another return is "Sun Dude" blessing the skate session.

Here it is in black and white.

This is one of those pieces where I feel really good showcasing. Mainly cause I get to show gratitude to someone I really enjoy. This one's for you Tony, love you bro :)

Hello and salutations my fellow ZEDHEADS! The new site is up and running, so this has been converted to the blog site. Now that doesn't mean I wont show love to a site that helped me so much. This piece I'm introducing is created by none other than I Kevin Guillaume. So lets take a gander shall we.

With this piece I wanted to create a sense of scary and beauty. In the foreground is beautiful woman. I wanted her to have a simple girl next door beauty. As you can see she's putting on her clothing in a hurry. She has a disturbing look on her face like she's being haunted or maybe even, stalked.

In the background is a teddy bear...holding a knife. This is where the scariness comes in. This knife wielding bear is cute, but has a psycho look on its face at the same time. Maybe a lesson can be learned from this piece, "Cute is in the eye of the beholder". I kept the color of the room simple to focus more on the two characters.

Here it is in black and white.

I gotta admit, I chuckled a lot while creating this piece. I hope you all enjoyed this piece as well.

Trailblazing to another level is what I do. That way of thinking runs in my family. Today ZEDHEADS I bring to you some more illustrations of the one and only Austin Whittaker (no relations to Forest...) Now I already did a piece on this up coming artist HERE

but his Jut-Su is getting stronger by the day. So feast your eyes on some awesome talent!

This piece the illustrator calls, "Concentration" It seems it took a good deal of "CONCENTRATION" to create this (see what I did there....) I like the chaos in the back ground yet the character is in complete control of himself.

This piece is called, "Sonic's Babysitting" Drawing this piece seemed uber fun. Tails seems likes he's he hurt himself, while Sonic is there to help out. The lighting was well done.

This piece is called, "Turn it up, Get down". As you can see Sonic is on another awesome race against one of his rivals, HYPER METAL SONIC

The track there running on has really cool curves and can imagine how tough it was to draw. Austin really enjoys him some Sonic The Hedgehog

and I understand being a child of this awesome series. TWO THUMBS UP on all the pieces. If you wanna know or see more of Austin Whittaker check out this link HERE

Well I hope everyone enjoyed the latest, be on the look out for a new site from ZODCORE coming soon, CHEERS!

Greetings and salutations ZEDHEADS! Now, raise your hands if you enjoy going to the beach :) Well I cant speak for everyone, but the beach does have a nice calmness to it. Its been a while for me but I do remember the last time I went, I was at total peace. Not to mention all the beautiful sites to look at, like the ladies :) So this art piece has a combination of a few beautiful things to enjoy at the beach, join me will you.

On this piece I wanted everyone to really enjoy the soft colors. Starting with the sky, I wanted to show a smooth transition from day to night. The different clouds shows how unpredictable they could be, from the groovy colors, too the formation of them.

The sparkly water has no serious waves to it because I wanted a calm still look. I made the sand very smooth showing how secluded this area of the beach really is.

As for the pretty lady in the foreground, I wanted her look like she doesn't have a care in the world. She looks like she could very well live right next too the beach, stepping out of her beach house to enjoy the fresh air.

Here it is in black & white.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it and showing it to you all. Till the next time, CHEERS :)

Have you ever met someone that you really dig on a physical stand point? The very look of that person just gets your engine running. You get that warm feeling inside of that makes your heart beat faster. Thats a cool feeling. Whats even cooler is that you get to have a conversation with that person you find so attractive. Through conversation, you find something even more attractive, a warm heart. You find a human being that complements your very own qualities. They just happen to enjoy what you like which makes it easier to talk too them. You open up to the person cause they do the same. Your imperfection is not what they strive to focus on, but only the positive characteristics of you. You ever met someone you dig on spiritual stand point?

This is Symantha Scott

This happens to be the second piece I done of her (1st Piece) I have drawn very close too this beautiful woman. Theres a lot of wonderful things I feel that were going to build together. I wanted to show my appreciation to her through art and words. And share it with you ZEDHEADS at the same time :)

Greetings ZEDHEADS. Its another beautiful day in paradise, So that can only mean more awesome art coming from yours truly. Now, I'm on a couple of (hush hush) projects that are super big, but in the meantime, enjoy this here current gem piece.

In this piece I wanted to show a couple of things in terms of angles. Some angles could be more difficult than others. In this piece I have the young lady pointing at you, which could be sometimes bothersome to draw at times. Instead of her head looking directly up I had her chin pointed down a little, another difficult angle at times.

When I started to color a good friend of mines told me pink should be in it. So I colored the bed pink and made some of her clothing pink as well. I wanted her eyes to stick out so I made it a vibrant blue with some cool lighting effects in them. I put a quirky little patch on the side of her rabbit ears to state that she knows how to stitch up her clothing if it were to get damaged. Like the title says, I had to pop in a shameless plug for the site :)

Well I hope you enjoyed this latest piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Have a blessed and wonderful day everyone!

Greetings ZEDHEADS. Its another day in paradise and Im grateful to be around to express it. Of course what better way to do that, than with another groovy art piece. So come along and see what I have in store to fill your eyes to the rim.

On this piece I wanted to have something nice to see in the foreground and something funny in the background. In the foreground is a lovely woman eating ice-cream. I gave her clothing the patriotic colors of the American flag red, white and blue. I wanted her to look relax while eating her ice-cream, so I gave her a chilled out look on her face. Behind her is the ice-cream vender where she bought the her cold treat. The young lad seems to be in a bit of trouble with the flats on his bike, but thats not stoping him from selling his goods and enjoying the sites. The barren desert should make one ask themselves, what any of them are doing out there. I wanted the entire piece to not only look colorful but have a groovy brightness to it.

Cosplay is the norm at pretty much any "Con" you go too. Animate had no shortage.

Watch it buddy

This is one Robin I don't mind seeing in tights :)

This company is building a Bat Mobile from scratch to help needy kids. A great cause ZODCORE certainly didn't mind helping out.

All type of Arcades games to play. From old school to new school :)

Gaming and Television industry were there. Oh and rumors of "Watch Dogs" not coming out is totally false.

I took a pic with Alexia Jean Grey on the Florida Supercon 2012 :)

Got to take a pic with the beautiful Yaya Han

Yes Brian from Family Guy was there, thats my nephew Gyll posing with the dog.

This groovy chick is was by far the best! Mad Rupert (Just love that name!) had such a wonderful attitude and has such an awesome job. She's an illustrator for one of the coolest cartoon shows of ALL TIME, Im talking about Regular Show! She just launch Skips (one of the characters for the show) comic book for the company. But before that, I would love to show you some sweet Anime of my own. These characters should be familiar too you ZEDHEADS because I'm always drawing them. The Taskmasters is rated 'M' for mature audience only, so if your under 18 please get permission from your parents or a respectful adult before watching or purchasing this content.

The ladies you see before you has gone through a couple of transformations, but I must say this could be there final draft on what they would look like on the years to come. On the left is Spyda, very smart and quick with quirky words, but yet not someone to take likely. An ex-model so she doesn't mind showing off some skin.

The one on the right is Sin(Assassin) She's the tactician of The Taskmasters. Everything her group knows on offense and defense was manifested by her mind. Her beauty how ever was gift to throw off her opponents in any situation.

I made the background a simple gradient to keep the focus on the beauty of the ladies.

Christmas is in the air. But this piece your looking at has nothing to do with christmas. Santa Clause is not coming by and the reindeers have been euthanize. No need for cookies and milk by the fireside, these words that you are reading right now will totally fill your belly. ZEDHEADS today I'm speaking to you about the awesomeness of (of what I like to call) 'Art Play'.

Light a candle and place it upon the mantle, right next to the moose head because this piece is all about laughter with a small dash of, 'Oh no he didn't'. In the foreground is a young lady getting up bright and early to seize the day. As you can see by her night gowned, she expresses herself freely (We all should time to time). I wanted the room to have a warm feeling so I choose orange on red to represent that. The woman just got up so she's unaware of whats happening outside.

In the background there is a stranger in her yard, but her dog takes care of that briefly. The stranger sports a Michael Myers mask to keep his face warm from the cool air and snow. As you can see there is a gnome in the tree witnessing the ordeal with good spirit. SunDude is back letting everyone know that it's a beautiful day :)

To show my appreciation to women, this piece is dedicated to them and all the wonderful things they offer to humanity.

This is Eve (say hi Eve) and she will be the representative for the beautiful women out there. On this piece I wanted to have a very soft feel to it. Comfortable would be another good word to describe her beauty. All shapes of a woman are very appealing, personally I like some meat on my bone.

She wears a blue drape to cover her but not afraid to show off a little leg and chest. A woman smile is very heart warming so I made sure Eve here had a beautiful smile. I didn't put any make-up on her to keep the natural beauty intact. Originally I wanted the bath house to have a steam affect to it, but kept it clear to see all the detail.

Here it is in Black & White

I am very happy and grateful that Jehovah has created such a wonderful gift for all man kind. Please cherish and respect all the women that came into your life and the ones you will meet in the future. I hope you enjoyed this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Till next time ZEDHEADS!

The Great Start Over!

Greetings ZEDHEADS! I know what your thinking...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!.... (Well a least I hope that's what your thinking)

Every now and then you must face an obstacle. It's not there to hender your strive but to motivate you. Quitting is not an option in the world of art. I had a huge battle in my hands a couple of months ago, I'm referring to "A PC MELTDOWN"! My PC was on its last leg...and crooked :( Because of that, I may have lost most of my art work. It was a bumber, but I knew the princlple of not giving up on what you love to do.

Now back and stronger than ever with new ideas and new art to share, so lets get started!

Every now and then I get to do some promo art for musicians, this member belongs to the group SILENT HAND. He had a new single he was putting out and need my help to promote it.

On this pic, he's standing next to (what I was told) a locally famous house where a lot of his peeps hang out at. The MC stands near a door where there's a bear trap in front of it. The trap signafies the name of the song, "They Want In". The light coming from the right of him is an explosion in the background. The lighting of the explosion a couple of feet away gives it a nice effect. As you can see he has a faithful dog sitting next to him noticing the flash of light .

I made the entire piece black and white with different grey hues by request from the MC. The entire piece was done on my iPad which is a little rare, cause normally I would do the coloring on my PC.

Here it is in black and white.

I hope you ZEDHEADS are pumped as I am on bringing you this new piece. Full steam ahead so be on the look out for some more awesome art from yours truly.

Street Skater staring Gyll Michael Guillaume

2013-07-21T07:57:00.003-04:00

There’s nothing like finding something NEW. A new hobby, a brand new pair of awesome work out shoes for dirt cheap, a new way to work to cut the traffic in half. Today I bring a new piece for all my ZEDHEADS to enjoy. Drum roll (…if you have it)

This is my nephew Gyll Guillaume and he possesses the Will of Fire when it comes to skateboarding. I say that because his will to become a pro level skateboarder has even made me pick up the art of skateboarding.

He works with a hand full of people but lately Gyll and I our helping out this particular company FLOOR 13

On this piece Gyll and the gang find a new poll jam spot. The Sun Dude is shining his blessing on the skaters. If you look closely on top of the roof is the return of the Floor 13 mascot (Area 51) I wanted to show a very chilled out ambiance so I filtered the pic with a light sky blue. I have to admit the fish eye lens made this extremely difficult to draw and color, but the end results is very satisfying.

Here it is in black and white.

Now here’s a couple of other things you didn’t know about my nephew Gyll Guillaume :)

He’s on Thrasher magazine.

He’s on a hand full of viddies and this is NOT my FAVORITE :)

Well I hope everyone enjoyed this article on one of the greatest skateboarders of all time my nephew Gyll Guillaume. Tune in next time ZEDHEADS!
