Skateboarding addiction is something that I have had all my life. I've always loved to roam around town with a skateboard in my hand and under my feet. I have always loved going from town to town visiting different skate parks and various other high traffic skating places. I enjoy the company of fellow skaters who are pursuing their passion just as I am. There have been so many moments in time, great memories if you will that have led me to believe that I was meant for such travels and I was meant to be around this sport.

I can remember the first time I was introduced to Skateboarding addiction my cousin was surely hooked on the sport and he had just moved to Wisconsin from California. He had a beautiful Zero deck that was around $200. I was only 13 at the time but all I wanted to do was ride that board. I looked everywhere for something of similar quality that I could call my own but I just couldn't afford a decent set up. Finally after months and months of saving my paper route money I had enough to buy one. I put together a fairly nice board and then my journey had begun I was officially addicted to skateboarding.

I would wake up in the morning with one thing on my mind and that was getting out there and seeing what new tricks I could land. One of my favorite things to do was to roll down steep hills and see just how fast I could get going, but, the truth is you can only roll so fast before you fall off or hit a rock and then regret the entire thing. I just loved to be out there and I could never regret my skateboarding addiction. It's one of the things that kept me going throughout my childhood the biggest factor in my happiness. I absolutely loved it and I will always thank my cousin for introducing me to the sport.

I have been to some great places along my journey as a skateboard enthusiast and I have seen many great skaters but I don't think I could pinpoint one particular moment as my favorite as there are so many great times and great memories I had. This is not something that someone looks back on and says "I can't believe I did that" because I can believe it and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been there and enjoyed all those great times. Feel free to look check out all my post in My Skateboarding Addiction blog that I have. I will be posting many great stories about my childhood along with the people that I have met and have inspired me.

Listen there are parents out there who think that this is a bad thing or that it leads to a certain type of lifestyle but I can assure you that skateboarding addiction is nothing more than an opportunity to get out and see the world in a way that most people wouldn't understand it. This is something that positively effected my life in more ways than one and I can't say enough how lucky I am to have done it and still continue to do it even at 26 years old. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I can't wait to hear from you.
