I am a regular customer of Nisce Skin Clinic but after a while I got this gutsy feeling to try this skin clinic which is established longer in our place than Nisce. This skin clinic is already operating since 1996 (I guess), and Nisce is around 2005 (I think).
However, I go to Nisce when I got my job and have enough money to have facials once every two months or longer. Since I have a lot of acne scars because I did not care for them before, I want to have a diamond peel on this clinic. When I got to this clinic, I was surprised that their price is almost half the price for a diamond peel at Nisce. But while I was interviewed by their staff, they recommended me to have a derma rolling (DR) instead. The price is about Php 3800 pesos but the medicines and other topical creams are not yet included. Since they somewhat convinced me to do it, I opted for DR. However, I made them clear to them that I do not want to have a red face when I got back to work on Monday. They all assured me (three of them and I could see their sincerity-I just don't know if they were). Since I also read about derma rolling before, I thought I was just Ok. So, they lead me into a cramped room since there were three beds on a 3m x 4m room area. The airconditioning cannot be felt because I saw it was set on 26 deg Celcius and there was an exhaust fan turned on beside it. I thought, who cares about this as long as a get a great service on my skin. So, they did a facial on me. Disinfectant, then a facial scrub (with slight cooling since I could feel a mint on the scrub), then pricking on my blackheads and whiteheads. Unlike Nisce, creams/gels, etc. that were applied on my face were done manually by the attendant while in Nisce, everything is done with a machine/electric tool. Only did I see an electric tool when they "brushed" my skin. I say "brushed" because I saw a machine that looked like an electric toothbrush which was used on my face. After the facial, they put me into a steamer. The attendant forgot to position the steamer properly when she left so I had to adjust the steamer myself so that it could steam directly on my face. Then after the steamer went off, there was a masseur who gave me a massage but I think it was not appropriate and needed since I went to their clinic to have a facial service. She massaged me for almost 30 minutes and then afterwards the attendant put a numbing cream on my face and wrapped it with a plastic sheets. She said derma rolling will start after one hour while waiting for the numbing cream to feel its effect. So while waiting, I dozed off so when it was time for my derma rolling I was awaken by the doctor (the dermatologist). Then, they removed the plastic and then came my biggest regret: the derma rolling was painful. I think there were four attendants beside me holding me so that I could not hit the doctor due to intense pain (of course I would not hit her, I am civilized enough to control my feelings). Every second of it was a real torture on my part. I wished on that moment I could just passed out but the doctor kept on asking questions which I don't really remember due to intense pain. I just nodded to all her questions just not to be rude. After 30 minutes of derma rolling, it was over. I feel relieved but I could smell blood. That's when it hit me that my face was bleeding because of derma rolling! WTF, how will this be healed on just one day? Since I cannot do anything about it already I just decided to just pay for the total cost after the session. To my surprise, my bill went up to Php 5690 for the whole service and a kit which include: one collagen cream, one vit-vit cream, one sunblock lotion, seven pieces of clear gel (looks like vit. E), and seven pieces of white capsule ( I don't have any idea what it is). Then, the doctor insisted that I should be back next week to see the result and if I needed more sessions of derma rolling. Yeah right. But we will see. I have not yet decided yet.
I have recommended ROC Retinol Correxion Serum. I swear that this product works but is not readily available here in the Philippines. It has also that weird smell so I do not use before during mornings. Now, here is another product worth trying when it comes to scar treatment. This is the Contractubex Gel.
Stated on its box is Specific Treatment for Scars. This product is described as anti-cicatricial and anti-inflammatory. Its main components are Extract Cepae, Heparin Sodium and Allantoin. But the most potent among them is the allantoin. The benefits of allantoin include, moisturizing and keratolytic (causes the outer layer of the skin to loosen and shed), increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promoting cell proliferation and wound healing; and a soothing, anti-irritant, and skin protectant effect by forming complexes with irritant and sensitizing agents. It is frequently present in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral hygiene products, in shampoos, lipsticks, anti-acne products, sun care products, and clarifying lotions, various cosmetic lotions and creams, and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical products (wikipedia).
Here are the information on its box and leaflet.
INDICATIONS: Helps prevent hypertrophic and keloidal scars, restricting and cosmetically disfiguring scars after operations, amputations, burns, and accidents. Dupuytren's contracture and traumatic tendon contracture, cicatricial strictures.
DOSAGE AND MODES OF ADMINISTRATION: Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, Contactubex is gently massaged into the skin or scar tissue 3 to 4 times daily until complete penetration of the gel. In the case of hard, old scars, Contractubex may be allowed to take effect overnight under a dressing. According to the size of the existing scars or contracture treatment will be necessary for several weeks.

MANILA - Illegal injections of a cancer-treating chemical pose a risk of death to legions of Filipinos who use them to try to whiten their skin, health authorities warned Tuesday.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspects the drug glutathione is being injected in high doses as a skin-whitener, but said it can cause serious conditions including kidney failure and blood poisoning.

It has issued advice against taking regular injections of the chemical -- approved only for treating cancer -- because the government suspects licensed skin doctors are among its purveyors, said spokeswoman Jesusa Joyce Cirunay.
"We have been getting reports that they are being administered by people who have experience in injecting medicines," Cirunay told AFP.
She said the agency had monitored many cases of glutathione use resulting in ailments, but gave no figures.
The agency said that claims had been made that glutathione whitened the skin by deactivating the enzyme tyrosinase, which helps produce melanin, the pigment that gives human skin its color.
But these claims have been widely disputed, the agency said.
It warned that repeated injections of the drug could lead to kidney failure, blood poisoning and toxic epidermal necrolysis, in which a large portion of the skin peels off, exposing the human body to many infections.
"The alarming increase in the unapproved use of glutathione administered intravenously as a skin-whitening agent at very high doses is unsafe and may result in serious consequences to the health of users," its advisory said.
The government is gathering evidence that could lead to prosecutions, Cirunay said without giving details.
Skin-whitening treatments and products including soaps, lotions and deodorants are popular in the Philippines and other Asian countries.

SO, i think oral glutathione are much safer than injectable ones. I always make sure that the glutathione I am buying is FDA-approved and comes from a reputable company. Also, the endorsers can also help me in deciding whether the glutathione is safe or not.

Glutathione injectables not safe-FDA

I almost tried having injectable glutathione, but nobody is offering here in the province. I always read the testimonials of those who have undergone injectable glutathione and they swear that the effect is really faster compared to orally-taken glutathione. However, the article below makes me think twice in going the same procedure.

This article is taken from abs-cbnnews.com.
"MANILA, Philippines - A warning to those who want to have fairer skin: Think twice before going to a skin clinic to get an injection of glutathione, a drug that can whiten skin.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clarified on Wednesday that only glutathione tablets are approved by the agency, and not glutathione injectables.
"Ang glutathione injectable ay hindi tama, hindi pinapayagan, hindi legal dahil walang approval sa amin at walang studies na nagpo-prove that these are safe," said Nazarita Tacandong, assistant director of FDA, on the radio dzMM's "Tambalang Failon at Webb" on Wednesday (June 1).
Glutathione is a drug that is used to treat cancer. Its side effect is the whitening of skin as it deactivates tyrosinase, the enzyme that helps produce melanin, the pigment that determines skin color.
Tacandong said when a person takes glutathione, the skin becomes whiter as a reaction of the body to the drug.
Glutathione may cause kidney failure and blood poisoning, said the FDA.
Tacandong added that the FDA can only advise the public not to use glutathione injectables.
It is up to the Professional Regulation Commission, she said, to go after doctors administering glutathione injectables."
She also points out that glutathione is responsible for her pinky white complexion.

"Sarah admits taking glutathione
In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, also on May 28, she admitted to be taking glutathione orally to achieve a pinky-white complexion. "Opo naman, nagte-take din ako ng capsules," Geronimo said, addressing curious inquiries of fans and media alike on how her skin keeps getting fairer.

While some frown upon glutathione users and accuse them of vanity and discontent, more than lightening the skin, Geronimo stressed that it also serves an anti-oxidant.

"Anti-oxidant naman po 'yun, 'di ba? Ang side effect lang niya ay nakaka-whiten ng balat ng skin," Geronimo told abs-cbnNEWS.com

Geronimo noted that going under the knife is a choice women can make anytime, for her however, it’s not a path she wishes to take.

"Pina-enhance? How I wish. Alam niyo, pwede kong gawin 'yun, alam mo 'yun? May part of me na gusto ko talagang gumanda 'yung ganoon pero sa tingin ko ay tanggap ko na din ang sarili ko, kahit paano," she pointed out in the report.

The advent of Glutathione as a skin-whitening agent began in the latter part of the past decade. Whether in capsules, injectables, creams or soaps, Glutathione has been endorsed by celebrities left and right, creating a massive market willing to embrace its skincare benefits."
-article taken from manila bulletin online.

This article makes me believe the power of glutathione without doubting the credibility of the endorsers. Some endorsers kasi are already white and half-foreign blooded so they have a fair skin. They only do glutathione advertisements because they are paid and their shows are sponsors of this products. So ,for now, we can all take glutathione, particularly met-tathione, to attain the artistahin-type of skin.

Skin Care tips: Product reviews as per experience

Hello there, it has been more than three months since my last post. It has been a very busy first quarter of the year so I still do not have time to compose some reviews. Anyways, I will try to post some skin care products that works for me and some tips on how I maintain my skin. Anyways, I am still preparing for my incoming board exam this last week of March so for the meantime, please indulge yourself from my previous posts and please feel free to ask some questions or leave some comments.
I really appreaciate them. I would also take this opportunity to thank those who posted some of their queries as well as their comments. It will be easier for me to answer those comments as of this moment than creating a post so just keep them coming.

Take care.

Skarslick Skin Softening Essence: The Verdict (based on my experience)

I used Skarslick on my old scars, especially my acne scars. I also used it on my scar on my legs. Since in the TV advertisement, it says that the more you use the product, the sooner will be the result. So, I use the product on every free time of mine. I massaged it more than six times daily on my old scars, especially on my face.
The fluid is very viscous so only a little amount is needed to be able to cover all my scars. So, the fluid was applied generously hoping the scars will disappear. Since there are five small vials in one package, one vial of 10 ml each could last approximately nine days on my target scars. On my first two weeks of using Skarslick, it felt like I am just applying moisturizers on my scars. Actually, the product is somewhat oily and sticky. However, it can be remedied by using baby powder so that it would not be noticeable. The product has no fragrance whatsoever so it is okay for a guy like me to use it. Not a hint of girly fragrance is noticeable. On my third week, I suffered pimple breakouts. I blamed it on Skarslick so I stopped using it on my face but continued using it on my other scars, especially on my legs because there is a large scar on it. Actually, the scars on my legs formed a keloids, a bumpy flesh formed on deep scars. However, since I saw it in the advertisement that it could work on keloids, I still continue using it. On my fourth week, I am beginning to feel frustration over the product. No significant change is noticeable on my scars. However, I still give the product the benefit of doubt. My pimples are also lessened on that period, so I decided to give acne scars on my face another shot of Skarslick application. On my seventh week of using the product, my Skarslick set is almost used up but observing my scars, they have not yet improved as claimed by the product. Even the scars that are not always exposed on the sun, their appearances were not visibly reduced. Because there is no really evident result on my part that the product can reduce or make the scars disappear, I strongly do not recommend Skarslick. It would only be a waste of money for the consumers. I tried visiting their office at Farmers' Plaza, and they had transferred already. Sayang, I was not able to ask them why their product did not work on me.

PS

Anyways, I have found already found a product that works on acne scars, it is the ROC Retinol Correxion Serum. However, I have not yet tried it on other scars except facial scars. Since it is anti-wrinkles, then facial scars would be suitable since it improves acne scars and at the same time reducing those wrinkles, laugh lines and crows feet. It is like hitting four birds with one stone. For the post, you can find the link here. Just also look for the succeeding post that speaks the potent ingredient of the said product(or click here).

Skarslick Skin Softening Essence: An Overview of Ingredients, Precautions, and Direction of Use

I bought Skarslick Skin softening Essence to reduce the appearance of my scars. I want to try it because I cannot find any first hand testimonials on the Internet except on its website where it only advertises the product.

Anyways, The brochure accompanying the package states that Skarslick Skin Softening Essence is a product that uses natural ingredients that are bound together to make an effective formula to replenish and regulate the extreme loss of water in old scar tissues. It says that it can improve scar tissue's elasticity and restores its moisture. Its natural formula can penetrate into deep layer of the skin that can help rejuvenate skin tissues. So, whether the scar is from surgery, burn, stretch marks, an injury, or acne, it can be sure that Skarslick Skin Softening Essence can help make it appear softer, smoother, and less noticeable. Skarslick should be applied with an appropriate amount onto the scar and gently massage it for 2-3 minutes or until the fluid is thoroughly absorbed by the skin. It should be used 3-4 times a day for eight weeks on new scars and 3-4 months on existing scars. There are also precautions like discontinue use if abnormal skin reaction occurs, close bottle tightly after use and keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes and open wounds, avoid wearing tight clothes or garments which can rub over scarred skin, avoid expose to direct sunlight and store in a cool dry place.
Its active ingredients include the following:

Elastin

is a protein in connective tissue that is elastic and allows many tissues in the body to resume their shape after stretching or contracting. Elastin helps skin to return to its original position when it is poked or pinched. elastin is also an important load-bearing tissue in the bodies of mammals and sed in places where mechanical energy is required to be stored.

Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)

jojoba penetrates the lipid layer, leaving a soft and dry sensation, slowing down the loss of moisture and improving its flexibility and elasticity. jojoba prevents stretch marks thanks to the elastic effetc it provides to the skin. Jojoba is very gentle to sensitive skin.

I have watched the advertisement of this product in the cable channel and I am impressed because the persons giving testimonials to the product were Filipinos. So, I immediately went to their branch at Farmer's Plaza (this was last year) and bought a box of Skarslick.
I asked their saleslady if which is better for my acne scars, their Rosehip Oil (another product which they also claimed to diminish scars) or the Skarslick. They recommended me to buy Skarslick since they told me that my acne scars are not too deep and Rosehip Oil is for deep scars. Anyways I believed everything they say but does this product really delivers result just like met-tathione? I will give you detailed account on my next posts.

Well so far so good, the effect has been visible already. Now, I plan to take met-tathione for maintenance purposes only. So, instead of taking four capsules per day (two capsules every morning and evening), I have been taking two capsules per day since yesterday. I do not want to over "lighten" my skin because others might think that I am obsessed in making my skin fairer. Actually, they told me already that it seems that I become whiter. Well, I just told them that I stay away from the sun as much as possible. Anyways, I plan to increase my dosage if I see that my skin will become darker or if ever I will not be again contented with my complexion. So, met-tathione has been good to me, and I totally recommend this product.

PS
Even Indonesians are already obsessed in making their skin whiter. I have read somewhere in a forum ( I will post the link if I will find it, it has been awhile since I saw it in the net) and can you guess how many capsules do they take just to see visible results in their skin? (Drum beat...) They take four capsules... every hour!. Well, I did not quite understand most of their posts since it is written in Bahasa (their language) but in the main subject, a user posted that he is taking four capsules of Met-tathione every hour. Of course the post shows before and after pictures of the user, and it cannot be denied that the user becomes whiter. The only problem is I was not able to understand how long did the user took four capsules every hour to attain the posted result. Anyways, I could not take more than four capsules per day, since I am just a regular employee. Nevertheless, for those who are financially capable out there who wants to try, I request that you give us an update so that all of us will be enlightened, in our minds and on our skin.

Pictures of ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum for Acne Scars

I am in a rush last time I posted about this product, since I was so excited to share about it to my readers. I am also aware that many of those who have acne scars like me are still in search of a good product that can reduce the appearance of scars, especially on the face. So, I uploaded the picture taken by my phone. I thought the picture was okay until someone told me that the picture is blurry, and it seems that it was intentional to hide the source of the picture in the internet. Well, so that I will not be accused of using pictures that are not mine, I took a clearer shot of the ROC Retinol. I also hope the text can be readable so that those who want to know about the product can see for themselves its specifications.

Benefits of using Retinol: Anti-aging, Anti Acne, Anti-Wrinkles, Anti-Scars

Just a little bit of information about Retinol, below are some excerpts from different sources:
Wikipedia:
Retinol, is one of the animal forms of vitamin A. It is a diterpenoid and an alcohol. It is convertible to other forms of vitamin A, and the retinyl ester derivative of the alcohol serves as the storage form of the vitamin in animals.

When converted to the retinal (retinaldehyde) form, vitamin A is essential in the vision, and when converted to retinoic acid, is essential for skin health and bone growth. For full text, click here.

Skin Care Rx:
Retinol:Stimulates Skin Renewal
The acceleration of cell turnover caused by the use of retinol or tretinoin will encourage the exfoliation of these dead skin cells and allow healthier cells to appear. Skin will appear smoother, softer; pores will appear smaller and less noticeable; and signs of aging will start to diminish. For full text, click here.

Wise Geek:
Retinol cream increases the production of cells in the top layer of skin, helping to rejuvenate the skin. As a result, the skin gradually looks younger in appearance. The cream also causes more collagen production, making the skin appear plumper. It may also reduce pigmentation issues that stem from sun damage. For full text, click here.

Retinol Skin Care:
It now seems clears that retinol is a beneficial cell-communicating ingredient, as well as an antioxidant. In other words, it assists in creating stronger, healthier skin cells and increases the amount of skin-support substances.
To some degree, retinol has also been used in the management of acne and keratosis pilaris in topical creams. The increased skin exfoliation of vitamin A helps unclog pores. Retinol has also been shown to stimulate new collagen production, which is critical in the battle against aging. Thus it has become clear that retinol is a vital component of high quality skincare products, providing visible, long-lasting results. As I have told in my previous blog (to view, click here) about my experience with Diamond peel in removing my acne marks, it failed on me. However, this product really delivers results. It has been over a week now since I started using it, and it really lightens up some of my acne marks.
Actually, this product is intended for deep wrinkles, but I thought to myself that if it could diminish wrinkles, it could also work on scars. And it really does! The direction states to use the product twice a day in the AM and/or PM. However, since I felt tingleness on the first time I used it, I settled using it at night only. Actually, I felt a little tightness on my face and on my neck every time I use it, so this is also a sign that the product is already working. One of the active ingredients of ROC Deep Wrinkle Serum is Retinol. Retinol has been proven effective by dermatologists all over the world to help reduce wrinkles, fights acne and diminishes scars. One side effect of using Retinol: skin whitening. So, it actually complements the met-tathione that I am using because the met-tathione works within my body and ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum works on the outside. The product also assures its users because its compelling message is printed on the bottle: We keep our promises.

follow up: effect of glutathione (met-tathione) for this time

So after more than two months ( I want to reserve an update on my third month supposedly, but I know a few would still like to know what had happened to my body already), it has significant effect on my part already. First, at this point in time, this is where I can really tell the effect of the product on my skin. It became paler compared to my previous color. I noticed that if dark-skinned people do something to lighten up their skin, it lightens up but on a yellowish-white hue. That is where I belong. My skin becomes yellowish white but I still like it because that is my goal, to make my skin lighter. I want to have a rosy-pinkish-white skin but I think that is possible only for people who have Caucasian blood in them. Anyways, I also felt reinvigorated always (do I sound exaggerating already?). I say this because, I do not feel sleepy during siesta time and even if I stayed late at night to check my emails and do my work. However, these effects are a case-to-case basis only and may not be effective on other people. With regards to my acne scars as well as acne breakouts, still there has been no effect on it. It just lightened some of the dark spots but the 'picks', 'holes' and small 'craters' were not reduced to a certain level. Pimples still flare from different portions of my face. Maybe I expect too much from glutathione. Other people claimed that glutathione is good for acne as well as its scars. But like I said, it depends on a case-to-case basis.

Skin Whitening using glutathione: I still use Met-tathione

I still use met-tathione. I asked for some advice from my readers but nobody replied. I guessed it means I should not change my glutathione brand. I thought to myself 'why experiment with other brands if I have already tested the efficacy of met-tathione?'. Therefore, I will still regularly update the effect of glutathione to my skin using met-tathione brand. My second point is that there are no hard-core fanatics of met-tathione. It means its followers and other users care less whether their product is being used or not. On this part I feel sad because maybe other users feel with me that it does not deliver results instantly but works over time. Another thing is that there are still non-believers of met-tathione that they still want more proof of its whitening effects to the users. I must agree that the cost of met-tathione is really not for who are tight in budget but do not have enough money to avail whitening regimen of high-profile dermatologists like Calayan and Belo. One purpose of this blog is to give at least peace of mind those who plan to take met-tathione that it really does deliver results. Just follow the right dosage and take it together with vitamin C (any brand you want) and it works like magic. Promise.

Update: Two months after using met-tathione (glutathione brand)

After two months of using glutathione, I must admit that the product really works. However, do not expect too much from the product itself. Since I am just monitoring the effect of the glutathione on my body everyday, it is hard to benchmark it since if we look at our face in the mirror, we are adjusted to how our appearance look day by day. I want to take a picture of myself before and after but there is no perfect camera. Even advertisements from television can be edited using various softwares and camera tricks. However, what I did is to benchmark myself to my co-workers (hehe). Well, before I was the darkest among them. Now, I can say that I have been blended to them when it comes to skin complexion. Actually, they seem much darker since our exposure to sunlight during our maintenance greatly affected them, but it has no significant effect on my part partly because of glutathione. I know that they noticed that I became a little bit lighter than them, but since we are all men, we do not talk about it. Anyways, I have noticed also that met-tathione is not being recommended by local dermatologists in our city. They are prescribing glutathione products that are not commercialized. Actually, their glutathione brand is more expensive than the met-tathione itself. They say that the main reason is that I can get most of my money on their product because it has higher dosage of glutathione compared to met-tathione (met-tathione has 250mg per capsule while their products vary from 500mg to 1000mg). So, just for the sake of curiosity, I will also try their product in contrast to met-tathione brand.

PS
Even my dermatologist has a different product. Is it just the dosage or because they have higher profit cut from selling their brand? Please leave a comment if you want me to try other glutathione brands. Thanks a lot.

skin whitening using glutathione: glutathione effect on sun exposure (met-tathione)

It has been more than two weeks now, and I want to give everyone an update of met-thathione to my skin. There has been no noticeable effect, to be honest. However, let me inform you that I have exposed myself to sunlight for three consecutive days! Think about the amount of UV rays that may cause skin darkening. Since my work obliges me to be exposed to sunlight during maintenance from 6AM to 6PM. Therefore, sun exposure cannot be avoided. Days after maintenance, I compared myself to my co-workers. While they all suffered from sun burns and their skins really become darker, my skin just remains the same. As if I did not expose myself to the sun for three consecutive days! It must have been partly because of met-tathione. Eventhough it does not lighten fast enough to see quick results, it helps me prevent skin darkening due to sunlight. So, I will still stick to my medication and wait for further improvement.

skin whitening using glutathione: my experience with diamond peel

While waiting for a major skin whitening result, I am thinking about how to improve the appearance of my acne scars. I have deeps acne scars all over my face. I tried diamond peel before from Nisce Skin Clinic. Actually, I wanted to have micro dermabrasion and unfortunately, the equipment was unavailable, so I settled for diamond peel. The doctor performed facial cleaning first (please see my previous post regarding facial cleaning). Then, a power driven hand held device with rotating wheel which they told me was diamond-tipped was religiously operated on my face. Since there was a gel that was applied first before the device was operated, the sensation of it was really good. I actually did not experience pain nor discomfort. They did that for about 30 minutes and after the operation of the device, I still wanted more. After the session was over, I looked at the mirror, and my face was already red and somewhat swollen. Good thing was I still did not have work on the following day so my face had time to recover so that it would not be obvious that I just had diamond peel. The next day, my face somewhat looked normal already with just a little redness of it. Thank God no one noticed that I just had diamond peel on my face. The diamond peel session had three free facial packages, so I still had to return to the clinic three times. They actually did not recommend me any of their products or cream solutions. The effect? Honestly, after three days, my face really looked improved. However, after two months, I noticed that my facial scars were again noticeable. That was when I realized that diamond peel just has short term effect, and scars will return after a certain period. Alternatively, maybe, micro dermabrasion was better. I might get a micro dermabrasion soon, and I keep my fingers crossed so that their machine will be availale this time.

skin whitening using glutathione: treatment gone plateau (met-tathione brand)

I am on the second month of using glutathione. However, after the breakthrough result that happened to me a couple of weeks ago, I think I reached the plateau part of using the product. It means that the effect of glutathione on my skin has no significant or major whitening that is happening on my skin. I thought after the breakthrough result, the glutathione will continue to lighten my skin as I continue to use the product. Even so, I think t is the period where the effect will not be visible maybe because it is already working its way through the cellular level. Furthermore, just to emphasize, I still let myself be exposed to sun generously. I did not do anything drastic to support the effect of glutathione to my skin. I thought real result will not be measured accurately if I inhibit myself to the sunlight, use sunblock lotions, etc. because I might think that met-tathione will be responsible for skin whitening. So, while waiting for the next wave of skin lightening effect, I will still take the product religiously and in relation with the required dosage. Remember, I take two capsules (plus vitamin C) in the morning and evening. Till next time!

skin whitening using glutathione (met-tathione): facial cleaning by dermatologist

I had my facial cleaning today. Even though I am using met-tathione, my acne does not seem to improve. Actually, I am expecting that since glutathione is a master anti-oxidant, at least it can boost my immune system to fight off the bacteria that cause my acne, or it could normalize the excessive production of sebum in my face. I was wrong. So I consulted a local dermatologist and have my facial cleaning. Actually, I abhor having facial cleaning. It really hurts so much especially when you have many small pimples waiting to be ripe. The attendant would squeeze the unripe pimples until the postule or the white "thing" is totally removed. It hurts so bad that I could not even stop myself from tears rolling from my eyes. But I always try to hide the pain and face it with all my courage. I wonder what if women with the same acne condition will undergo facial cleaning. Are they also suffering the pain that I am experiencing while having facial? Anyways, first thing they did was to wash my face and then let my face exposed to steam for about thirty minutes. Next, there comes the painful part: they forcibly removed the unripe pimples. After twenty minutes of excruciating agony, they vacuumed my face, after that, applied a facial mask. After ten minutes, they removed the facial mask, then they treat my face with galvanic treatment. Galvanic treatment is just like electrocuting the skin but with low voltage that it actually feels relieving rather than causing discomfort. Lastly, they sprayed my face with antiseptic and put a lotion. After the treatment, I looked at my face in the mirror and it has already been bombarded with dark spots caused by facial cleaning. Maybe, after three days, these spots are already unnoticeable and I am ready to face the world.

skin whitening using glutathione: why choose met-tathione over other products

This is the Part 2 of my research for the product Met-tathione. This post (and the previous post) was lifted from the advertisements of online sellers of the product Met-tathione. Actually, what they posted were all identical. Again, I would like to repost it for the information of everybody.

MET-TATHIONE is used to help treat blood disorders, and detoxify the liver of heavy metals, toxins, and alcohol. It has a long history of being used by those exposed to radiation and chemotherapy during cancer therapies. It helps to protect cells and tissues against oxidants. It is thought that MET-TATHIONE has anti-aging effects, and as we grow older, supplementing MET-TATHIONE can help prevent the levels from dropping.

Dermatologists prescribe MET-TATHIONE for its only side effect: whitening of dark skin. People with darker skin tone report that taking MET-TATHIONE capsules along with vitamin C for three to six months or more actually lightens the color of their skin. This side effect varies from person to person and it assures to really whiten your skin in the shortest period of time for it has combined the main components for an active whitening result.

MET-TATHIONE CAPSULE CONTAINS THE IMPORTANT REGENERATING ANTI-OXIDANT.

MET-TATHIONE is the most powerful anti-oxidant occurring naturally in all of 70-100 trillion cells that make up the human body. That is why MET-tathione is called the master antioxidant(MA) the effectiveness of all other anti-oxidants Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Selenium all depends upon the availability of MET-TATHIONE. VIT C and MET-tathione in the skin act as photo protectants and neutralize the oxygen radicals so that they no longer damage the skin. MET-TATHIONE needs VIT C to work properly.

How Does MET-TATHIONE WORK?

You will notice that you’re starting to look fairer and skin is glowing.
Makes your skin smooth and rosy as a long-term result
Heals dark spots cause by acne and prevents it from coming back
Lips will become pinkish because the melanin pigments blocking your lip will also decrease Underarms will lighten Bikini line will lighten
Helps us to maintain clear vision and if you have blurred vision or cataract this will help your eyesight since the sclera of the eyes are also rich in Glutathione

I have researched on the internet some of the frequently asked questions regarding met-tathione. Actually, the post was the same for all met-tathione online sellers on the net. For the benefit of my readers, here are the questions and its corresponding answers:

FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS:

1. How long before I really see the results?
The average period where a user can see visible change in his/her skin color as a result of MET-TATHIONE takes about 2 to 3 months. Again, this is not applicable to every user, however, there are cases to which some users already see results in as early as 1 month taking 2-3 capsules daily. In other cases they show a slow development which results in 10-12 weeks before they have seen the results. Moreover, the best thing to do is not to miss a daily dosage.

2. Why is it that some people see results early and others took long before they can see it?
For the simple reason that people have different metabolism, weight is also a factor, the fact that some people see results early is because their body have absorbed the components well. Finally, dosage is an issue.

3. What is the recommended dosage in able to achieve a faster and visible result?
In order to achieve a faster result the right dosage for a certain person must be based on his/her body weight and skin tone. If your weight is above average (70 kilos above) and your skin tone is morena or light brown, its recommended to take 3-4 capsules daily. If you are black (African/Afro-American), take 4-6 capsules daily(again, depends on weight).Generally, we recommend users to take 1 capsule daily if they have a light complexion already, its potent enough to achieve a change of skin tone in as early as 4-8 weeks (again, results may vary from person to person). Once you have achieved the desired skin tone you may maintain it by taking 1 capsule daily.

4. Do you think it’s not bad to take a high dosage of MET-TATHIONE everyday?
Definitely. There is no such thing as over dosage in these whitening pills. Did you know that primarily Glutathione is given at a daily dose of more than 500mg to certain patients? MET-TATHIONE and its components are all supplements; they are in existence in our body. They are water-soluble which just means that if there’s anything in excess, it will be just excreted through urine or bile. “Some people with darker skin tone report that taking MET-TATHIONE capsules along with vitamin C for three to six months or more actually lightens the color of their skin.” It is also recommended especially to people who smokes and are most of the time expose to polluted environment. Taking a separate Vitamin C such as ascorbic acid 500 mg also stimulates a better and faster result.

5. What makes MET-TATHIONE different compared to other whitening pill?
What makes it different and powerful is the synergy between its various components. They are not only powerful individually, but also work together in what is known as antioxidant cycling. Antioxidant cycling is the term that describes how antioxidants work together to extend each others’ lives and make each other more powerful. And that’s also the reason why it is so effective to really whiten the skin in it’s long term use.

6. Is it just ok to continue using some whitening creams or gels while using it?
Yes. There is no problem if you still continue using your regular skin care regimen (creams, lotions) but once the whitening process has started you might not need to buy any creams to apply to your skin, MET-TATHIONE alone is ok and you will see it for yourself.

7. How does MET-TATHIONE process starts? Can it give me an equal skin tone all over?
The reason why are skin becomes white in using MET-TATHIONE is because it reverses the dark melanin pigments turning to a light pigments and reduces melanocytes which produces melanin. Less melanin, a whiter skin. Met-tathione’s whitening process starts inside the skin (dermal layer) going outside (epidermal layer), that’s the reason why it takes time to be able to see initial change in your skin tone. The whitening process is goes head to foot meaning that you will have a white even skin tone in your whole body.

8. How can I consider MET-TATHIONE? It is a drug, vitamin or supplements?
Is it just ok to take it with all my other medications and vitamins? Is there anything to avoid when taking MET-TATHIONE? MET-TATHIONE can be considered as food/dietary supplements. This is not a drug and so there are no known contradictions and precautions to be taken into consideration. However, MET-TATHIONE shouldn’t be taken by people taking anti-psychotic drug and chemotherapeutic drug. Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages, the presence of alcohol in the stomach is one reason for your body to not fully absorb the whitening pill.

9. Once I have achieved the skin tone I want, is it just ok to stop taking the pills or should I continue it?
It is advisable to still continue taking the pills even though you have achieved the skin tone you want. Take 1 capsule a day as maintenance. We all know that MET-TATHIONE is very good to our health and so taking it in long term will not only make us white but also it will promote better health.

10. Are the whitening effects of MET-TATHIONE permanent?
Will my skin tone go back to its original color once I stop using it? Its whitening effects are permanent only if you will maintain it(by avoiding exposure to sunlight). You won’t go back to your original skin color even if you stop taking these pills, however, there is a tendency for you to be tan or darken your skin if you expose yourself to sunlight and other harsh elements.

11. Is the exposure to the sun will affect the whitening process or it is bad when I am taking MET-TATHIONE?
Sunlight provides vitamin d but right now we all know that is not safe for our skin to be exposed from it for the fact that our ozone layer is much depleted and so will not protect us from UV rays. Exposure to sunlight will indirectly affect the whitening process since it increases the melanin pigments in the skin, thus, might delay the whitening process. It’s not really bad to be exposed to sunlight but at least have protection and be sure not be exposed at a long period of time.

12. What If I am taking MET-TATHIONE but most of the time I am exposed to the sun, what will I do? Use sunblock or sunscreen lotion that has an SPF of 45-60. It will protect you from the harmful effects of the sun.

13. Is MET-TATHIONE safe in the liver?
Let’s hear what a renowned doctor says about it:“The level of glutathione in the liver is critically linked to the liver’s ability to detoxify. The higher the glutathione content, the greater the liver’s capacity to detoxify harmful chemicals. Typically, when we are exposed to chemicals to which can damage the liver including alcohol, the concentration of glutathione in the liver is substantially reduced. This reduction makes the liver susceptible to damage.” Nature’s Potent Liver Remedy by Dr. Murray"

14. Is there any untoward side-effect from the long-term use of MET-TATHIONE?
There are no side effects or interactions known with oral administration of MET-TATHIONE even in its prolonged use. The side-effect, we all know, is the SKIN WHITENING itself.

15. I am in a hurry to see the results and also I want to be slim while I am taking the pills, is it ok to take slimming pills or other products?
MET-TATHIONE is considered as a supplement and therefore safe to be taken with other medications, vitamins or supplements. However, we recommend people using whitening pills to just use slimming creams or whitening creams so as letting the whitening pill work solely in your body. If you are in a hurry and at the same want to be slim, I recommend you to use natural kind of weight reducing supplements such as green tea extract.

16. Is it safe to be taken even by young teens who want to be white?
Yes it is. MET-TATHIONE is considered as a supplement. It’s just as if you were taking your regular dose of vitamins everyday, therefore is it safe to be taken by young teens from age 14 years and to all ages who also want to be white. Henceforth, the right dosage should be taken into consideration.

17. Is there any side effect in taking MET-TATHIONE?
The side effect in taking Met-TATHIONE is the WHITENING of the skin already.

18. Is it better to take MET-TATHIONE with an empty stomach or should I eat my meal first before taking it? It's much better to take Met-tathione with an empty stomach. Your body will fully absorb it because it is only concentrated in just one substance unlike if have eaten already or had intake something, there might be a tendency for your body not to fully absorb it because there are already substances present in your stomach that might hinder the process of absorption.

19. Can men take MET-TATHIONE with the same result?
Yes. Men's basic skin structure is the same as women's. While the studies carried out included only women, we have no reason to believe why men should not experience the same benefits.

20. Is it BFAD Approved?
Yes, MET-TATHIONE 250mg from Japan is BFAD APPROVED with an LTO No.-DRII-MM-F-3481.

skin whitening using glutatione: first real result (Met-tathione brand)

When I had my hair cut this afternoon, I saw myself in the mirror and I must admit, my face has already lightened. Actually, I had to double check myself in other mirrors if what I saw in the barber shop was, in fact, not just a product of good lighting and imagination. Now, I must actually say that the product I am using really works. As I check myself again in the mirror ( I can't help it), my skin color lightens up to a noticeable glow, not a pinkish glow. However, my face is the only part of my body that has the noticeable effect. Looking at my arms, legs and body, no significant whitening occurred. It may be due to the fact that our skin in the face is thinner compared to other skins of our body. The whitening effect is not that yet significant, but I will post more results as I will observe in taking met-tathione. But the bad news is, the scars and blemishes did not improve. My acne scars are still there, my pimple breakouts are still increasing, and the blemishes are still noticeable. Maybe the product is just being honest, it whitens your skin, nothing more, nothing less. But I hope for the best that there are still other positive effects on my skin that glutathione can still offer. And I am willing to wait for that to happen....

skin whitening using glutathione: Effect on Pimples, Acne, Marks and Scars (Met-tathione brand)

I do not think glutathione has an effect to acne problems. I am already taking my second bottle of Met-tathione and I still suffer from occasional breakouts which I am also experiencing when I was not taking glutathione before. Many think that glutathione is a miracle drug, that it can actually cure any skin disease that a person is suffering while taking the said supplement. As per my experience, it does not help in clearing out acne and pimples to the user. I also have some pimple marks and scars, and I hope that it will diminish now that I am taking glutathione but they remain the same. I am still tolerant about these frustrations because I have so many experiences with other treatments like facials, dermabrasion, diamond peel, but nothing has ever improved my scars and marks. However, since glutathione is a whitening product, I am still hoping that it can lighten some of my scars and since it is also an antioxidant, it can help in the regeneration of my skin particularly on the facial area.

skin whitening using glutathione: What is glutathione and its purpose (Brand: Met-tathione)

I had just opened my second bottle of Met-tathione. While I am waiting for significant effect of glutathione on my skin, let me share you some information regarding glutathione. According to Wikipedia, glutathione is an antioxidant that protects cells from free radicals and peroxides. Free radicals and peroxides contribute to the aging and destruction of the cells in our body. Glutathione is actually being produced in our body. However, supplementation will only help a side effect, which is skin whitening. Furthermore, according to a website ( which I forgot already) and also stated in Wikipedia, glutathione products such as Met-tathione are actually anti-cancer drugs. They are given to cancer-stricken patients and can help alleviate the effects of cancer to the body. This makes me wonder if longer use of glutathione is safe because I wonder if it will make me invincible or vulnerable to cancer cells. Even so, since I am only taking what is required for skin whitening and maybe if my dark skin will become lighter, I think I will stop taking glutathione for the meantime.
