Problems signing in to Skype with Microsoft account

We are currently investigating a problem where some users cannot sign-in into Skype with Microsoft account. We apologise for the inconvenience and will let you know when the issue has been resolved.

[UPDATE Apr 25, 2013 13:50 GMT]: We are still monitoring the situation but the majority of users should now be able to sign into Skype with their Microsoft Account.

Problems calling to Skype Numbers in Hong Kong

SMS messages sent from Skype to U.S phone numbers will be unavailable for a few hours on March 5th 2013 at 2AM Eastern time (GMT -5). This is due to planned maintenance and we will post an update once we restore availability, which is estimated at 7AM Eastern time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Skype To Go Issue in Chile

Skype To Go users in Chile with Arica and Santiago numbers may be experiencing difficulties connecting. This is due to the recent addition of a new digit to the phone numbers. We are working on updating our systems and will update you when the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience

[UPDATE Nov 27, 2012 16:18 GMT]: This issue has been fixed for Skype To Go. Users with registered numbers in Arica and Santiago as well as users calling contacts in Arica and Santiago will need to log in to your account to update the affected phone number(s) with the additional '2' digit.

Reported Security Issue - RESOLVED

Early this morning we were notified of user concerns surrounding the security of the password reset feature on our website. This issue affected some users where multiple Skype accounts were registered to the same email address. We suspended the password reset feature temporarily this morning as a precaution and have made updates to the password reset process today so that it is now working properly. We are reaching out to a small number of users who may have been impacted to assist as necessary. Skype is committed to providing a safe and secure communications experience to our users and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Web Login Problem

We are investigating a problem in our web login process. For some of our users that attempt to access account portal through login.skype.com the page will not load. We are working on fixing this and will report once it has been resolved. We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience this causes to our users.

Sometimes its the simple things. Smiling, saying thank you and you're welcome that matter. Today is one of those days. We are messing up a simple thing. Skype is experiencing an issue with its credit card payment management and while we hope to have it resolve shortly we wanted to acknowledge it and say we are sorry for the problem.
