Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a line to say that things have been real busy for me. I've started to take an Astronomy class which runs from 3pm to 12am. Yeah, its a bit long, and it takes a lot out of me. I also have finals to study for next week, so there might not be podcast untill Sunday night / Monday moring. Anyway, I'm having fun with my class, and that's the important fact. Thanks for understanding, and I'll be talking to you later. -Skyler

My Record Rig

Some people have asked what my recording set-up is, so here is what I use. I am using a Sony ECMMS907 Digital Recording Microphone, plugged into a Korg PXR4 digital mixer. I run a audio line out of the mixer into my iMac's input in the back. From there I use Audio Hijack Pro to record my podcast live. Since I record live, there are no breaks and when I mess up, you can hear it. I choose to do it live to make my recording time a lot shorter and really get the stuff in my head down on MP3. So that's it. I hope to put some pictures up later so you can see better. If anyone has any questions about getting started with podcasting, e-mail me and I can do my best to get you in the right direction.

With a magazine subscription you register for a magazine (podcast) and then every so often the publisher (podcaster) will send one to your house. Now after the Magazine is delivered, it sits in your Mailbox (aggregator) until someone removes the Mail and puts it on the Kitchen Table (iTunes).
