We now could use some more snow, some riders coming through last night said there are spots are getting larger. It started snowing lightly early this morning and has picked up in intensity as the day has gone on. Looks like winter might try and make a comeback late in the season. We are in for snow almost everyday through the weekend and possible big storm saturday night into sunday. Just in the nick of time we might be back in business. Adam

No melting over the last 2 days as a matter fact little bit of fresh snow each morning. Not much change in the trails over the last couple days riders are reporting some good and some not so good but for the most part all are flat with very few bare spots but lots of icy corners. Two riders reported putting on 300 miles without having to go to michigan but obviously the further north you go the better the snow is. A little worried about the sun today but still temperatures are cool here this morning. Better late than never but looks like big changes in the weather starting late next week possible big storm next weekend with lots of lake effect snow we will just have to wait and see. Adam

Yesterday trails were flat can I see with a few bare spots and groomers have been out across from northwoods. I've been surprised on how many riders have been in the area over the last few days. Trails are better the farther north you go. We did pick up 3 to 4 inches of snow last night and that will help big time in Presque Isle, less the farther south you go. Still snowing when I left my house this morning it should snow for most of the day today. This was all LES snow so I'm guessing they got a bunch more just to the north of us.Adam

I can't believe the number of people still riding. Most of our system is covered with brownish snow and ice with a few bare spots. Everything is still flat in our bases in tact all we would need is a few inches of snow. Riders last night reporting some very good trails up north still but you have to pick and choose which direction to go. The forecast looks cold with a few chances of snow but no big storms for the next 5 yr 6 days. Some possible lake effect snow is coming in on thursday and saturday. Adam

Temperatures were in the lower 40's on tuesday with some melting taking place obviously. Clouds held up most the day today with basically no melting taking place on the trails. My best guess is areas were the sun can hit will be thin by the weekend areas were the sun does not get to will be in good shape. I don't think areas south of us will hold up through the weekend but the U.P. should remain in good shape. Adam

We picked up 1 to 2 inches of fresh snow last night not much to report but it every little bit helps. Trails across in northwoods were in good shape today no melting took place today. Tomorrow looks to be the warmest day of the week with temperatures approaching mid to upper thirty's but hopefully clouds will be around all day. The forecast for tomorrow afternoon is for freezing drizzle in light snow. Not much in the way of snow for the rest of the week and temperatures will be flirting with a freezing mark. If the forecast holds true my best guess is trails will be fine for the weekend. Adam

Trails across in northwoods are in good shape today and should remain in good shape throughout the weekend. The sun is out this morning and temperatures should rise into the lower thirty's. I would be worried about some melting taking place but clouds are forecasted to take over the area this afternoon with two inches of snow falling tonight. Temperatures will then cool off for the rest of the weekend. Adam

We picked up 46 inches of nice dense snow yesterday with maybe double that in the minocqua area. Another 2 to 3 inches fell last nite in the presque isle area and it was still snowing when I left the house this morning. Should be a great week and weekend of riding coming up. Adam

Trails were in great shape going into the weekend where but with lots of traffic the snow got used up a bit. And just what the doctor ordered very heavy snow falling here this morning we pick up 2- 3 inches already in it should snow most of the day. This should be a great week of riding. Adam

It snowed all day yesterday picking up a few more inches. Just north of presque isle they picked up 8 + inches yesterday. Presque isle is under a winter weather advisory for tonight and tomorrow and 1 mile north of us is under a winter storm watch for tonight and tomorrow. Most all groomers went out across in northwoods last night. Trails did take a hit this weekend with lots of traffic but groomers are doing a great job putting them back together. Trails are in decent shape today but still thin and very thin when you head south to the Minocqua area. As usual more snow and trails get better just as you head north from here. Most of our riders reporting they are able to find a very good riding with some thin areas. Started snowing very early this morning we picked up an inch or so as of 8 am and it should snow most of the day today. A few more chances of light snow for the rest of the week. My best guess is trail should be in good shape this weekend. Adam

We picked up good snow over the last couple days and trails in good condition! Some areas just to the north of us pick up 20 inches and I did hear a couple reports of 30 inches of fresh snow! The forecast looks good for colder weather and more chances of snow. Adam

Light snow continues to fall looks like it's picking up in intensity a little bit. We picked up 4 inches last night and the snow should continue through the day and through tonight. I don't think we will pick up the 12 + inches they forecasted but will just have to wait and see. All in all it should be a good weekend of riding. Adam

Temperatures got into the mid forties yesterday and trails took a hit.
Just in the nick of time it looks like mother nature is going to pull through. Mixed reports on how much snow is expected some forecasters same 6-8 others saying 12 to 20 over the next 3 days
Trails are frozen hard and flat this morning it would only take a few inches to make them good again. I'll update again this evening when the snow starts. Adam

Groomers did go out last night in trails are in decent condition today. They are forecasting a very warm day here today but as of now temperatures have been cool this morning. I do expect some melting take place this afternoon. The forecast is looking better and better each day. I will know better tomorrow but looks like snow should move in wednesday night thursday and friday. If the forecast holds true I expect a great weekend of snowmobiling. Adam

After a very busy weekend and warmer temps trails are starting to break down and will for the next 2 days. Starting wednesday night it looks like winter should start to kick in for maybe the first time this year. My best guess is trails will be poor condition after today and through the day on tuesday and wednesday. Lake effect snow is are always hard to forecast but that is what we are looking towards for wednesday night through friday. If the forecast is right we might pick up 6 to 12 inches of snow between wednesday night and friday night if so the riding will be good for the weekend. Adam

Very little in the way of melting took place after day after yesterdays warmer temperatures. Cool start to today's temperatures a low of 26 last night. Highs should be in the mid to upper thirty's today and dropping with a cold front sweeping through tonight. Trails might see a little damage today on busy intersections and corners exposed to the sun. Groomers are out every night and should still be a good weekend of riding. We might see an inch or so of snow tonight. Wednesday and thursday of next week are looking like they might turn out to be another good snow event. Adam

Officially presque isle picked up 16 inches in the last snowfall. Needless to say trails are in great condition. Minocqua picked up 7 inches so you can ride to the south now. Adam

Light snow fell most of the day we did pick up 1 to 2 inches. Groomers out in presque isle tonight and most of the U.P. riders are saying thin around here but still in good shape and very good to the north of us. More like snow is in the forecast. Adam
