Days ago we anticipated this release from Visvim, following the news from the Japanese labels website. Here is a closer look at a handful of items that suggest the coldest months are just ahead. With the Valdez Down Coat 2L making a welcome release in some new colorways as well as the Ahab button-down short, wool pants, and more Fluxus denim.

In just a few weeks the much awaited O.H.W.O.W bookstore will open in New York. The retail home of all of O.H.W.O.W’s great publications, alongside a number of special products made just for the spot by O.H.W.O.W’s closest friends and family. The first sneak peak of the products we can expect is this backpack created by Dr Romanelli, the O.H.W.O.W influence is clear to see.

Timothy Karpinski at Thinkspace

Thinkspace is hosting their second solo show with Timothy Karpinski tonight, November 6th. My Heart Never Sleeps, which follows the artist’s project solo at the gallery in 2008, features a nice selection of collaged works on paper, hand-cut wood sculptures and a large central installation entitled Fear Fort, which Timothy built, lived and worked in during the months preceding the show. Check out the preview images below and make sure to come along tonight if you can as Timothy’s work is particularly lovely in person. Turf One and Craig “Skibs” Barker will have work on display in the gallery’s project spaces and there will be a musical performance from the band Lovers.

The team of Hong Kong’s latest feature is a prime example, an innovative look at photograph and the camera’s used by photographers and icons such as TK and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
