Growing up I would race home from school to catch The Bugs Bunny show. I would sit in front of the TV and lose myself within the depths of Warner Bros animation. Here are 10 cartoons that were actually banned. Most of these are during the war and is aimed at the Japanese and Germans and a pretty racist. Makes me wonder why they were banned…

Donald Duck – Commando Duck
Banned because of it’s typecasting of Japanese people.

Bugs Bunny – U.S. War Bonds
This one was banned for the racial profiling of African Americans

Daffy Duck – The Commando
References to Nazi Germany

Bugs Bunny – Herr meets Hare
More with Hitler

Bugs Bunny – Tokio Jokio
Again, another one with Japanese

Popeye – You’re A Sap, Mr. Jap!
