One of my Favorite aspects of the Edge of the Empire is the Obligation Mechanic. You can really tell from the previous episode whose Obligation was triggered. Tons of excellent RP opportunities, great way to add complications to a plan. These really help sell a pre-generated module like Long arm of the Hutt since it's customizing encounters and tailoring the game to link their characters to the plot.

One last thing.

Friend of the Show Brandon Raasch has designed a game around certain Political Figure. “Trump this!” is a game utilizing card marching mechanics from Apples to Apples or Cards against Humanity and applies them to real Donald Trump quotes. The game is currently on Kickstart which will end May 10^th.

EP 5 Escape from Mos Shuuta pt 4

Escape from Mos Shuuta finale

The streets of Mos Shuuta have become even more dangerous, Zandra’s men have begun to patrol the streets in search for the Kessel 7. After close encounter with some Storm Troopers the group was approached by the Street Urchin named Hidala, she recommended a way for them to beat the imperial heat. The group is led underground to an old smuggling lair that had gone forgotten. Hidala offered to take the team closer to the Hangar where the Krayt Fang awaited them, the only thing between them and freedom is surly Trandoshan and squad of Storm Troopers.

Ep 4 Escape from Mos Shuuta part 3

The Kessel 7 are not making any new friends on Tantooine. the Unknown Mandolorian turned out to be Verrol Cadera the man Orso Kem had on the inside that helped the group to escape from Kessel. Apparently Bartenders are not fans of Cantina Fights.. The group finds a promising lead that a “Krayt Fang” a freighter for one of Teemo’s Slavers is in for repairs. They next negotiate with The Junk Shop Owner and swindle the Hyper matter reactor igniter, crucial part needed for the repairs of the “Krayt Fang”

Finally, the last obstacle that was in their way was to unlock the “Kryat Fang” from the landing bay. They get the Jump on the overseer and her sentry droids but only to learn that the former warden of their Labor Camp Zandra Corvis have tracked the group to Mos Shuuta. With her she has brought several Platoons of Storm Troopers. Will they be able to reach the Kryat Fang in time before they fall

Previously on Sleemos and Nerf Herders, The Kessel 7 have seemed to have been unintentional participants in an assassination attempt against Teemo the Hutt. Just after the Lambda Shuttle They Delivered exploded, the gang are chased through the streets by Teemo’s Men. After drawing some of their pursuers into a Cantina. A classic bar fight of epic proportions ensues. In the brawl a seemingly unknown Mandolorian swordsmen comes to their aid. As the smoke clears and the patrons go back to drinking, the group is left trying to find a way out of MOS Shuuta…. Alive

Episode 2: Escape from Mos Shuuta pt1.

First Game Play Session 1,

After escaping from the Spice Mines of Kessel, the team has agreed to take Orso Kem’s offer to fly the Lamda Shuttle to Tatooine in order to settle a debt with Teemo the Hutt. After getting some starting supplies from a friendly contact of Orso’s, our story begins as they land the shuttle at Teemo’s palace. Can they trust Orso Kem, Teemo the Hutt or even each other? Only time will tell.

Welcome to the inaugural Episode of Sleemos and Nerf Herders. We are Star Wars FFG actual play podcast currently getting geared up for an Edge of the Empire game. In this episode we create characters for Star Wars Edge of the Empire. The group Template (google Fear the boot Group Template) for this game is that all of the player characters were involved in escaping from the Spice mines of Kessel.

After creating the characters, we play several turns of Backstory Cards http://ow.ly/Xx6OZ. We used these to help build the connections to the other players and several factions that they may interact with in the future.
