Easter sale started today at 90% off. Randomly went in and found several good deals. Plenty of items still to choose from

Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.

By consensus, the weekly Walgreen's Ad is being replaced by this comprehensive thread. Until Walgreen's gives us better deals, we'll be able to follow more easily all the comments in one continuous thread.

Please post any tips, deals, coupon finds to help us all improve our Walgreen's shopping experience.


Thanks to Sugraray for the reminder:

If it is a BUY deal, ex: Buy 2 and earn RR, you can use WCR, RR, MQ, IVC whatever you want and still will earn your reward.
If it is a SPEND deal, ex: Spend $12 earn $5 RR, be careful! You cannot use WCR because that is taken off before it totals your spend. Same with IVC coupons (Walgreens coupons, found in the little paper book and also digital). If you have RR, be sure it is the regular manufacturer RR with a normal large barcode. That is treated like a MQ so you do need an item without another coupon to attach to. The store RR have a small barcode and says Store Coupon and lowers your "Spend" amount.

Different types of clearance:

1. The kind with official CVS tags on the shelves. These are usually found in many stores.
2. The kind on an endcap or special table and often have green stickers on them. These are usually specific to that store. Sometimes the discontinued items will show up at other stores with these stickers, too.

Post your finds, with as much info as possible including where you found them (on the shelf or in another place in the store). If you know of any coupons to use on the clearance items, post those too.

Shopkick appears to be dead. No prior warning to its employees or users. I lost nearly 25k points due to this. I'm kicking myself for not getting some cheaper value gift card earlier. That was lots of scanning for nothing.

ibotta is now deducting 3.99 per month from your balance if you haven't redeemed an offer in a set amount of time. You have to accumulate $20 to cash out and it's not my fault if they don't have any offers I want and my money just sits there. They've taken 7.98 from me. I can't see why it's costing them anything to sit on my money. Thoughts?

:wave:I have been noticing lots of folks like me, with hungry cats and ravenous dogs, asking for deals/coupons, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate these deals into one area to make things easier for those of use who constantly need to save on these things!!:D

I will start things off with:

Purina Beneful 7oz (trial size) bags at SWM--$1, there is a $1.50MQ out there, but the specifics elude me, I used all I had on Friday.......MM on dry dog food!!

Free Sheba 3oz cans of cat food---peelies found on Sheba or Temptations cat treats at WM. There are small bags of Temptations regular price .94, I found them on clearance for .50, so not only did I get cheap treats for the babies, but also free Sheba. Just a heads up, though, they have a pate and cuts. My felines won't eat the pate, but the dog loved it!!

I keep running into last minute deals at various stores -- several of which are local chains and thought it would be helpful if we could share information in one spot for these.

In the past few days, I found some discounts that are worth mentioning.

Seekonk, MA

Tractor Supply has been dramatically cutting prices on plants. Today I got $20 Pointsettia for .50 and a gorgeous blooming Christmas cactus for $2, a smaller on (6 oz) for $1.

Pricerite had great deals on Ferrero Rocher chocolates, the 5.8 oz boxes were 2.99, large boxes 7.99 and the smaller bags of squares 2.49.
