Matcha powder is the latest form of green tea that is taking the world by storm. The benefits of this tea are well documented, but matcha is a new way to enjoy green tea. Matcha is green tea leaves that have been ground down into a fine powder. When you brew green tea using a tea bag or loose leaves, you throw the bag or leaves away when it is ready to drink. That is where matcha powder is different, you are effectively consuming the whole of the green tea leaf albeit in powdered form. This means none of the goodness goes to waste and all the nutrients are entering your system.

Matcha powder contains all the normal benefits of green tea with a few more besides. Spinach is considered a nutrient rich food, however, matcha contains 60 times as many antioxidants than you will find in Spinach. It is also a great source of easily absorbable dietary fibre. This keeps the body, regular and stabilizes blood sugar levels. Because of the potency of matcha, many people are using it as a pre-training drink or mid afternoon pick-me-up. This is because of the caffeine content which acts as an energy boost.

Matcha can be added to cold drinks although you should avoid adding it directly to boiling water. Warm to hot water is the ideal temperature for adding the powder. The versatility of matcha means it can be added to almost any food. It can be used as salt on any food dish, added to cakes, bread or biscuits. In fact, some people even make ice cream with matcha powder. My own personal favourite is a banana smoothie with a tablespoon of matcha. Whatever your preference, matcha powder is most definitely a new way to enjoy green tea.

Goji berries have been used for many years in eastern asia. They are rich in antioxidants and promote well being. Hence, the reason why they are also known as 'happy berries'. The berries are said to improve eyesight, protect the liver, boost the immune system, and to promote longevity. Yogi has harnessed the goodness of goji berries and incorporated them into a great tasting version of green tea.

Yogi berries have a reputation of being a mild yet tangy fruit with sweet and sour notes. Merging green tea with other fruits and flavours can deliver indifferent results. However, in this tea, Yogi has done a great job of balancing the distinct flavour of goji berries, with the unique taste of green tea. The end product is a wonderful, aromatic green tea/dark berry combination that tastes delicious.

For best results, we found steeping the tea for approx 3.5 minutes is ideal. If you leave it much longer than 4 minutes, the taste has a tendency to become slightly bitter. A cup of Yogi green tea goji berry will leave you feeling revitalized and invigorated. If you have been drinking the standard green tea products and fancy a change, this will be right up your street. Yogi green tea goji berry can be purchased from the usual stockists.

Losing weight can be a drag at the best of times but shedding pounds by chewing green tea gum is a gift from the gods. There are many brands of green tea gum however, for the purposes of this article we used the Mega T version. You can buy 12 pieces for around £3. Just one piece of this chewing gum is equivalent to drinking a whole cup of green tea. That is a whopping 60mg of green tea extract. Furthermore, these tiny pieces are packed with antioxidants. The flavour is a refreshing minty taste which is pretty much the same as your average gum.

This product is ideal for those people who already drink green tea but want to increase their intake by other means. After all, there are only so many cups of green tea you can drink in any 1 day. Chewing green tea gum is also practical and convenient because it can be taken while you are working. So there is no need to put the kettle on when you need your fix of green tea.

This product is a great way of harnessing the weight loss benefits of green tea. It is also sugar–free so it is kind to your teeth and gums. You can take green tea chewing gum anytime, anywhere. This has got to be one of the easiest ways of losing weight. Rest assured, this is a highly recommended product.

Acai Berry has received lots of publicity over the last year or so. There is no doubt that this substance has extraordinary weight loss benefits and comes in a variety of different guises. Thankfully it is now available as a delicious tea courtesy of the reputable Stash brand of fine tea products.

This is a very fruity tea that is also full of flavour and contains a hint of blackberry and blackcurrant. It is a fantastic alternative to the various green tea products on the market so will appeal to those looking for a change. Acai berry tea works equally well as either a hot drink or a cold beverage/iced tea. It does not contain caffeine so you can drink it at any time of the day or evening without it interrupting your sleeping patterns.

The extract of Acai berry is a highly acclaimed antioxidant endorsed by many celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, and has been featured on many popular TV shows and magazines including the Oprah Show and CNN. Independent research indicates that from a weight loss perspective this tea ranks as highly as some of the best performing green tea brands.

Acai Berry has been shown to increase energy and improves the digestion system. It has also been linked to aiding a healthy, restful and quiet sleep. Studies have shown that the Acai berry is a great antioxidant which may help prevent cancer. The pigment of the berry is what delivers many of the health related properties.

This tea is great for detox and maintaining optimal health. It has disease fighting qualities and is an excellent source of fibre. The fruity taste is an immediate change from many green tea products.

Slimming tea products have been around for years although they are believed to originate from the Far East and China. In recent years, they have become popular in countries all over the world. These products come in various forms such as tea bags, sachets, powder, or leaves.

There are many benefits associated with drinking slim tea products and there have been numerous scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of these health benefits, with plenty of evidence suggesting regular drinkers may have less chance of heart disease and developing some types of cancer.

Drinking slim tea is proven to assist weight loss as the ingredients are known to increase the body’s metabolism. A faster metabolic rate has the effect of consuming more calories instead of allowing the body to store them as fat. Other benefits of drinking this tea include fatigue prevention and improved brain function.

Green tea products are probably the most well known of the various slim teas on the market and it is true they are the most popular sellers. Wu Yi is another type of diet tea that has emerged in recent years to command a large share of the market.

Apart from the different brands of slim teas on offer you can also take advantage of several different flavours which can be helpful when you grow tired of one particular taste. There is now such a wide and diverse range of slim teas that some have been developed to aid digestion or have a laxative effect.

Most slim teas contain significantly less caffeine than coffee or tea which encourages many people to switch from those more commonly used but ultimately less healthy beverages.

Drinking slim tea is a simple way to lose weight without doing any physical exercise, dieting or going hungry and this is why its popularity is set to increase further in the future.
