20th Anniversary Country Quilt Show on November 5, 2011

Dear Friends of the Country Quilt Show:

This year, Ties That Bind Quilt Guild is preparing for the 20th Anniversary Country Quilt Show on November 5, 2011. Since this is a special anniversary of the show, we have decided to go back…..back to basics and a dedication to prior shows.

When we, as quilters, took our first classes to learn the techniques of the craft, most of us made a sampler quilt. Several of our members have started sampler quilts that have been featured in recent magazines. That has inspired us to have a “Sampler Celebration” at this years show. We are inviting you to join the celebration, and create a sampler quilt to exhibit in the show. (Hopefully this is enough notice to get a sampler done by November!!)

We are also looking for any pictures or memories to share from the shows over the past 19 years. They can be sent to the address below. We are looking forward to a very exciting show this year.

Ties That Bind Quilt Guild

We LOVE quilts!

Some of us design our own patterns, some teach the skill to others, some make quilts only for themselves and loved ones, some make them for people in need, but all of us will travel many miles to get just that ONE right piece of fabric.

Our meetings offer a great variety of topics and discussions. Guest speakers are invited to our meetings and the cost is usually covered by a silent auction held in the fall of the year which allows everyone an opportunity to dispose of those UFO's (unfinished objects) they on longer need. We now meet at Pilgrim Church 462 Meadowbrook Dr. West Bend, Wi

We are involved in community service projects and have donated many quilts to various causes.

Birthday block exchanges, block of the month, demos, show and tell, and what would any meeting be without a snack...and all this for only $10.00 a year for dues.

Come join "Ties That Bind" Quilt Club each month on the third Wednesday from 7-9pm
