Morena Baccarin was born in Brazil on June 2, 1979 to Brazilian TV Actress Vera Setta and Italian journalist Fernando Baccarin. The family migrated to New York when she was 7 years old because of a job offer that her father accepted.

I’m doing my best to be cool, calm and collected while I tell you about Baccarin but to be totally honest I’m just absolutely excited on the inside and all I want is to scream out, “Morena Baccarin is just so freaking HOT and SEXY!!!”. Phew… there… I said it *takes a deep slow breath*. Ah damn… I’m still jumping up and down inside, I just can’t help it. I usually calm down after letting it all out of my system but Morena, ooh Morena! I can’t help myself!

*Focus, focus, focus… breathe…* Although her mom’s an actress she disclosed that she didn’t try to influence her one way or the other. Her mom offered her support in whatever direction she wanted her career to go.

She attended public school in New York then went on to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts before entering the theater program at Juilliard School.

She began her acting career in 2001 with a role in the comedy feature Perfume. She followed up with a leading role as Rebecca in that same year in Way Off Broadway. She continued to work in theater in New York, understudying Natalie Portman in Anton Chekhov’s Central Park production of The Seagull.

In 2002 she was cast in the Drama/Comedy – Roger Dodger along with Jennifer Beals and Elizabeth Berkley.

It was after completing this movie that she moved to Los Angeles to focus fully on her career. Since then she has been constantly at work mainly in TV as well as film. Over the years she appeared in Justice League (voice of Black Canary / Dinah Lance / Edgar Mandragora), The O.C. (Maya Griffin), How I Met Your Mother (Chloe), Sands of Oblivion (Alice Carter), Las Vegas (Sara Samari), Numb3rs (Lynn Potter), Medium (Brooke Hoyt) and The Good Wife (Isobel Swift) just to name a few.

Her most noted roles to date have been in Showtime’s Homeland (Jessica Brody), Stargate SG-1 (Adria), Dirt (Leland), Serenity (Inara), V (Anna) and Firefly (Inara Serra).

Despite all of her work and constant appearances, I didn’t catch sight of her until viewing an episode of The Mentalist. Baccarin made appearances in two episodes - War of the Roses & Every Rose Has Its Thorn. It was in the latter episode that I laid eyes on her and couldn’t, and I mean this literally, I couldn’t take my eyes away; couldn’t tear myself away; I kept hoping and wishing that she would be in every single scene of the episode and was totally disappointed when she wasn’t.

Oh how I wished the episode wouldn’t end; how I wished she would be returning for future episodes; how I kept wishing she would get away with it (in that episode)… she was bad but she was do damn good at it. She was enigmatic, super confident and deeply entrancing in that episode… I mean even that great, always in full control, totally aware, never naïve Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) was defenseless against the super smooth, sexy and captivating Erica Flynn *sighs… mmm mmm mmm...*

He too, deep down inside, was hoping she would get away with it. Erica, Erica, Erica is all I can/could say. No wait, I could very well and rightly say, Morena, Morena, Morena. And the creators must have been just as fascinated with this quintessential beauty as well because she did get away with it *the grin on my face when that happened was so great, it was blinding*. If that’s not proof that there’s no denying someone of prima donna status, I don’t know what is *huge huge huge grin*.

Baccarin is currently working on the starring role as Lori in Old Days which is currently being filmed. It is a comedy centered on the character of Jim Owens played by Michael Rosenbaum who returns to the small town he grew up in to attend his 15 year high school. He runs into his high school sweetheart and realizes he still has feelings for her even though she is set to be married in a week’s time. The film is set for release in 2013 and also casts Nick Swardson and Emma Caulfield. The storyline doesn’t appeal to me much but as long as Morena Baccarin is in the lineup, I’m there!

Thus far in her career she has been nominated for 2 Saturn Awards for Best Supporting Actress on TV for her performance in V and has won the Wine Country Film Festival Award for Best Actress in 2001 for her role in Way Off Broadway.

Another role for which she has won high acclaim is playing the conflicted wife of a former prisoner of war (Nicolas Brody) played by Damian Lewis (who was Sarah Shahi’s partner and co-star on the cancelled series Life) who suddenly returns home after being missing for 8 years in Homeland. She is torn between two loves since she fell in love in his absence.

Morena confesses that she sort of fell into acting; it was not planned. She grew up around actors and it just seemed normal to have pursued such a career. She started acting in high school and realized that she loved it. When asked why she didn’t pursue a modeling career since she clearly had/has all the attributes for it, she responded that she likes to eat and was/is not into the ‘skinny thing’ and didn’t like the lifestyle that came with it. Did I mention that I love this woman?

In some ways I’m amazed at myself that I didn’t happen upon this magnificently beautiful woman before. She makes me want to want more television for sure. Outside of her natural ultra-attractiveness it’s evident that she is also talented. If you check the bio of her career you will see that there have been no gaps in her profile since she performed her first role. That in itself speaks volumes.

Morena Baccarin makes it an absolute delight to sit at my PC and create an avenue to showcase why women should be given the opportunity to shine. I’m head-over-heels *again* *sighs*. There is no end to my infatuations.

Is it just me or does she bear a striking resemblame to Ashly Judd?

Paula Patton Has Stolen My Heart

Paula Maxine Patton was born to Joyce (a school teacher of European descent and Charles Patton (a lawyer of African descent) on December 5, 1975. She graduated from the University of Southern California Film school magma cum laude (with great honor) and her first job was making documentaries for PBS. As a child she was always interested in films and knew at an early age what she wanted to do for a career. Her appreciation for films was shared by and most likely acquired from her mom.

In a lot of ways Patton is one very fortunate actress having started her career in 2005 and having landed substantial roles within a short 3 year period. From a small role in Hitch 2005 starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes she went on to land a major role the following year opposite Denzel Washington in Déjà Vu (2006). Seriously, you start your career in a film with Big Will then jump into a role opposite Denzel the great veteran!!! You know when you kick-start your career like that there must be great things in store and it's a career that was meant for you. Can I get a whoot whoot?

She followed up with Mirrors and Swing Vote in 2008, Precious in 2009 and Just Wright in 2010. If that wasn't enough, also in 2010 she was offered the role to replace the new full-time district attorney on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - a role she had to turn down after landing the lead in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. In 2011 she played Sabrina Watson in Jumping the Broom and I wanted lots of times in the movie to kick her character's ass. And believe you me, after seeing her stellar, award-worthy totally bad-ass, kick-butt performance in Mission: Impossible, I was sure glad I didn't attempt to do it. And speaking of kicking a character's ass.... I love Loretta Devine to bits but I was two seconds away from going all Jackie Chan on her ass in that movie!!! ~~*did i say that outloud :O*~~

She was awesome and in my humble opinion gave her most excellent performance in her career so far; truly commendable; two thumbs waaaaaaay up!!!! Talk about bad-ass!!! Absolutely gratifying performance! The movie totally rocked! Cruise and all the other cast members went over and above board on this one! if you haven't already seen it, stop whatever you're doing and go out to the cinema right this minute! No, wait... finish this blog first then go!

Patton leaves me wanting for more and I don't just mean as far as her acting skills go.... ahem... I mean... look at the woman. I know you agree, right? The arms, legs, lips, smooth complexion, the seductive eyes, rocking body....

And did I mention, she's a mom and went back to work only 3 months after giving birth to her son? I didn't, damn... was too busy raving about her aptitude for the arts of acting. So she gave birth to Julian and was back working on Jumping the Broom only 3 months after. Wait... did I mention magazine covers? Or hotlists? Do I need to? I don't think so, her hotness speaks for itself.

And her skills don't stop there, the woman has vocal skills as well. She featured on husband Robin Thicke's album and also did some vocal work with Usher. Speaking of husband Robin Thicke - check out his video of Lost Without You where his beautiful, breath-taking, draw-dropping wife makes an appearance. Robin and his team had a very limited budget and couldn't afford to hire someone to appear in the video. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the guy would want to hire someone else when he has a bombshell for a wife. Guys! Go figure!

Look for Patton in Disconnect - a drama/thriller slated for 2012. The movie is currently in post-production phase. It is rumored that she will be playing the role of an antagonist in Who Framed Roger Rabbit slated for 2013.

The way I see it Paula Patton came out of nowhere, I don't know from whence she came or why but I'm sure glad that she did and hope she doesn't go away anytime soon. She is very refreshing on screen, it's a pleasure to watch her perform, she did quite a substantial job with her earlier roles and she definitely took it to the next level in MI4 (Mission: Impossible [4] Ghost Protocol).

She had big shoes to fill from the get go and she has taken on the challenges quite admirably and has certainly progressed into a seasoned actress of whom you can expect great things. Hopefully she will continue in that vein.

I wish her all the best and will not hesitate to confess that she has definitely stolen my heart in more ways than one.

Yes, I know... it's been quite a while. My apologies. You can see from the posts made for 2011 that they weren't much. Took on two major projects this year that consumed my time and had a few minor ones along the way. All in all, I'm very proud of my accomplishment in the work department.

Enough about me. It's that time of year again - I can hardly believe it myself. Just hours away from Christmas day and I know in many parts of the world it already is.

I started to compile a Christmas wishlist a couple weeks ago in keeping with tradition but time did not allow. I'm pretty much pushing my limits here trying to fit these few words in but I just had to take the time to wish all of you beautiful people a most joyous and wonderful Christmas. For the ones who do not celebrate Christmas, I wish you joy and peace as well no matter the occasion.

A special thank you to my followers and a heartfelt thank you to all who took the time to visit and also to leave comments. Although I'm not in it for the comments, I sincerely appreciate them all. They offer appreciation for what I put in as well as insight into your thoughts.

Of course a Slym blog would not be a Slym blog without showcasing they beauty and purpose of me doing this. Do enjoy the sights.

Heather Peace: Absolutely Scrumptious

If you have a heart condition, I strongly recommend that you take your medication now! In fact, even if you don't have a heart condition, go ahead and take some meds anyway just as a precaution for the hotness that is about to be unleashed. I seriously doubt that anyone would be standing while they read this. However I'm not taking any chances so please make sure you're seated comfortably before going forward. Other recommendations include a nice really cold drink, a rag or cloth of some kind to wipe the sweating that will be induced and the drool that might escape from your mouth and have a tub filled with cold water standing by. If you're into 'toys' you might want to have those to hand as well *ahem*. As a last resort maybe you should invite a girlfriend over to go through this blog with *wink*. I must caution though that having a girlfriend over could go either way (negative or positive). You might find yourself in an embarrassing position as you are likely to sweat profusely, or have to pop your eyeballs back into their sockets, or pick your tongue up off the floor and your knees are also likely to fail leaving you in a compromising position depending on the direction of your fall. As you can see I'm doing my best to fully prepare you; I care that much. On the positive side, having company means you might not have to take that shower alone after having a fill of the irresistibly alluring Heather Peace. Also, that cold shower might not be so 'cold' after-all *wink wink*. One last thing, don't expect me to go on and on about the accomplishments of this ultra hottie because when you have a level of hotness on par with Sarah Shahi (you do want to click this link, trust me) then words are a total waste of time because they could never do justice. Anyone who knows Shahi knows that she did not fit into a category of hot. Au contraire, a level of hot was created to fit her into. With all that said, let me introduce you to ... no, wait... I'll do that later. First let's start with her character, Detective Sam Murray, of Lip Service. You know what, my introduction might pale in comparison to my friend's (Dorothy Snarker) so I'll let her do the introduction instead (and yes you definitely must click on these links too, you'll thank me!). Peace is an English actress and musician who was born in Bradford, Yorkshire on June 16, 1976. She is best known for the roles in London's Burning, Emmerdale Farm, The Bill, Empathy, The Chase and Ultimate Force. Her most recent and juiciest role is playing Detective Sergeant Sam Murray on BBC's Lip Service. Lip Service has been renewed for a second season *hallelujah - insert me doing cartwheels here*. She will play the role of Charlie in Ronnie Thompson's Screwed. The film is currently in post-production phase and is set for release on June 3. I can aptly sum up Heather Peace in one word: S-C-R-U-M-P-T-I-O-U-S! Mmm mmm mmm, I love me some Heather... tasty, delicious, oh-so-good Peace; and again I say, mmm mmm mmm. As you might have noticed, I've stayed away from describing body-parts *sighs, swoon, aah*, I'm letting the pictures do all the talking. Status Update

Here's the thing... so 2010 we all know for me was hectic... had some serious projects to undertake... a major one followed me into 2011 and of course I told myself, "Once I get this behind me, all will be well again; I'll have some time; I'll catch my breath; I will fall back into my routine; blah blah blah blah..."

Well, it's March... that major project from 2010... I completed it just over 3 weeks ago. But wait... here's the thing.... that project was the second of 2 that I completed... Those 2 projects involved me travelling; each a week at a time.... But wait... not done yet... Guess what? Where am I? Pfft... off island again... another project.... And the hits just keep on coming....

But wait.... here's another thing.... With all the fancy updates, upgrades, modifications, etc... etc..., I can't just upload all of my pictures anymore, come back when I have the time, put my thoughts into words then just grab and drop my pictures where I want them to go... Do you hear me crying... do you feel my tears... do you feel my heart breaking...? WTF? I mean... woe is me *boo hoo, sob sob, sniff sniff*. I mean... it's not just a picture here; a picture there... just one blog can contain at least 60+ photos... *waaa waaaa... wail... sniff, boo hoo*.

Okay... alright... it's not why I came here... been meaning to do this for a while... just no time... so I figured..., tired as I am, worn out as I feel, pressured as the times are right now, I just had to take the time to let it be known that... well, how do I put this gently? Well... I'll be ****ing damned if I let all this sway me *pardon my French*.

So, I'm tired, I've been, I still am AND will be busy and I'm challenged with all the fancy enhancements to not only blogger itself but with all the browsers, etc... haven't had time to sit and figure it out, but fear not, I shall return.

I hope for the most part time is being truly kind to each and everyone of you. Stay tuned... Thanks for sticking it out.

Cindy Crawford: Sexy To The Core!

It’s been a hell of a year. As reflected by the activity on my site, it’s blatantly evident that I have very little time on my hands to celebrate the most deserving women who have kept and will continue to keep my delight, appreciation, respect and desire for true beauty (certainly not external only, but it definitely makes it so much more pleasurable), unwavering talent, abounding intelligence, well earned and deserved respect and ability to overcome and persevere despite all odds totally gratified.

I had to undertake 4 major projects this year that has, in no uncertain terms, left me drained mentally, physically and emotionally. One of which, is still in progress and will continue into the New Year. Thankfully though, not before I’ve taken a much earned and needed vacation. The challenges were many, however I prevailed.

Hey, enough about me! This is so not about me! This is totally about Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Crawford. Pffft, where to begin when you want to celebrate a woman of such insurmountable beauty, brawn and brains? This is no easy feat at all. There is no summing up Cindy Crawford. One can only hope to capture every essence of her being with the concrete knowledge that at the end of it all there are so many countless pages yet to be added to such a multi-faceted goddess.

Crawford is former supermodel, actress, entrepreneur, humanitarian and a woman who I consider to be extremely astute and savvy. She’s a wife and mother. She’s easily one of the most recognized faces in the world. Believe me when I tell you that I am not one to be readily taken in by supermodels. Don’t get me wrong, I am not prejudiced against them one bit, I am just the type to be a bit hesitant when it comes to a profession that is so heavily dependent on outward beauty.

This fact should further solidify and validate my regard for Crawford by choosing her as one of my elite celebrants. I admire her sense of dedication, her work ethic, the fact that she has never strayed from being and staying securely grounded in being the very best woman that she can be. She’s never lost sight, in my humble opinion, of what’s important.

Based on what I know of her, she’s always treated her career as such; a job, a profession, an important part of the layers of her life without leaving any other area behind. Crawford is married to Rande Gerber and they are the proud parents of Presley Walker (born July 2, 1999) and Kaia Jordan (born September 3, 2001).

She attended Dekalb High School, Illinois and was discovered at age 16 by a local newspaper photographer who took a picture of her while she was working at a summer job of detasseling (removing the pollen-producing tassel from) corn. This photogragh produced a lot of positive feedbak and reactions. At age 17 she entered the Elite Model Management’s Look of the Year Competition and was the runner-up.

In 1984 she graduated as valedictorian of her class and went on to earn an academic scholarship to attend Northwest University to major in the study of chemical engineering. As a result of a host of positive feedback to her stint in the modeling competition, she only attended university for one quarter. She dropped out to become a full fledged model.

She started her career working with Victor Skrebneski, a well-known local photographer in Chicago but it took root after moving to Manhattan and signing with Elite New York modeling agency in 1986. She reached the peak of her career in the 1980s and 90s. It seems there was no magazine cover that she didn’t appear on, no runway that she didn’t rip and no designer or fashion house that didn't sort after her. She was everywhere – television, videos… you name it, she did it because by then she had attained supermodel status.

I won’t even get started on the 'most beautiful lists'. She’s definitely no stranger on the most influential, most beautiful, most powerful, most sexy, hottest, etc, etc lists. Even as I’m preparing this post, there's no doubt that someone somewhere is making a case to have her included on an upcoming hot list. Her beauty and sex appeal show no signs of diminishing so it would not come as a suprise; write it off to genuine beauty that radiates from the inside out.

She has worked live and print campaigns (appearing on the cover of over 1,000 magazines) for the likes of Vogue, Elle, W, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabana, Calvin Klein, Versace, Escada, Clairol, Revlon, Maybelline and Playboy; just to name a few.

Crawford has made personal exercise videos, written a make-up book – Meaningful Beauty, has her own line of skincare products, home collection (rugs, furniture, accessories, etc) and collaborated with JCPenny to launch Cindy Crawford Style. The line includes bedding, bath, furnishings and windows. The line became the most successful launch of any brand at JCPenny in 2009 despite the harsh economic downturn.

Crawford lost a brother when she was somewhere around 9 or 10 years old to leukemia. In this regard she is an avid supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (an organization which fights for the cure of blood cancers).

She also supports the University of Wisconsin Foundation, Little Star Foundation, she is an honorary board member of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and in 2007, she became an official supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and is a member of their celebrity board, called the Friends of RMHC. Crawford is also a member of the Honorary Committee of the California Wildlife Center.

Although she retired from modeling in 2000 she continues to make occasional appearances on the covers of fashion magazines and from time to acquires contracts for photo shoots. She also currently provides endorsements on a number of varied projects.

I do not endorse plastic surgery, a procedure that Crawford has openly admitted to utilizing, however, this does not reduce my admiration and respect for this amazing woman. I admire her honesty; I applaud her strength; I revere her intelligence; I savor her beauty and sexiness; I extol her integrity and I totally adore her charm and charisma.

What do I like most about Cindy Crawford? It has to be her subtle sexiness coupled with her cool self-confidence added to her aura of self-awareness and there’s so much allure in a great level of intelligence. Cindy Crawford knows who she is, what she wants, where she stands, where she wants to go next and at the same time she’s absolutely comfortable and secure in where she is right now. How can you not be thoroughly captivated by her? I know I find her utterly irresistible.

Michael Kors had this to say about Cindy and I fully support him in his deduction, “Cindy changed the perception of the ‘sexy American girl’ from classic blue eyed blonde to a more sultry brunette with brains, charm, and professionalism to spare.”

Not to take anything away from Crawford but I must take this opportunity to wish each and everyone who have supported Slym Pickings and keeps doing so. Laetitia Marie Laure Casta is a French fashion model and actress who was born on May 11, 1978 in Pont-Audemer, Eure, France to Line Blin of Normandy(where she spent most of her childhood) and Dominique Casta of Corsica. I guess we can all stop wondering where she got her drop-dead gorgeous features from.

For all intents and purposes, it would seem that her modeling career began at the age of 15 while vacationing in Corsica with her parents at the beach. It was there that an agent/photographer of Paris' Madison Models laid eyes upon her as she was building sand castles and was instantly captivated by her indisputable and irresistible beauty. Other films include La Bicyclette Bleue (The Blue Bicycle), Les âmes fortes (Savage Souls), Luisa Sanfelice, and Nés en 68 (Born in 68). Most recently she has been cast to play the role of Brigitte Bardot in Gainsbourg (Serge Gainsbourg, vie héroïque) and the role of Suzanne (one site reports that the name of her character is Suzanne while another reports it as Nicole) in Derrière les murs (Behind The Walls). This film is in post-production phase and is set to be released in France some time next year (2011).

Okay, okay okay. I know... It's been a while... well... quite a while. Sorry to say, it's going to be a while longer. No, I haven't abandoned Slym Pickings. No, there's no way I would give up my hotties. No way!!! It's still hectic for me hence the lack of activity. It's the time of year too when I travel A LOT and the trips take a lot out of me. Plus there are the other everyday things of life. I've been having all these ideas that are going around in my head but no time to put then down on paper or soft copy. When I think about Demi Moore, my mind goes to a lot of different places. If you research Demi Moore, then it adds quite a few other dimensions as well as to where your mind goes. I’m quite sure that if you had to describe Demi Moore that the word controversial will have to be a part of that description. Despite all of the above though, I think there’s one absolute indisputable fact about Demi Moore. What’s that? It’s quite simple in fact – Demi more is without of shred of doubt one of the hottest women in the entire universe. I developed a huge crush on her from the first time I laid eyes on her. That crush still lasts up to today and it’s not going anywhere. She'll be 48 years old in November and this woman is hotter than ever and still turn heads wherever she makes an appearance. Hell, she can stop traffic if she wanted to! And the raspy voice adds so much to her sex appeal as well. Her life hasn’t taken any well laid out path; it zigzagged, it took wrong turns here and there, it swerved to the left then the right and it even got real messy at some points. But you know what? Through it all she has prevailed. Ok, I admit, that’s a bit of an understatement. Demi Moore has triumphed. Yeah, that’s right. She has conquered the elements that she has had to deal with. She is at an awesome place in her life and I know, based on the resilience that she has become known for, that it’s not about to change any time soon if at all. She has had her brush with drug abuse at an early age, she’s a divorcee, she’s the mother of three, she’s now happily married once more, she’s an actress, an entrepreneur, she’s a producer, she’s gorgeous, beautiful, talented, hot, super sexy, funny, witty and so much more. She had a troubled childhood. Her father left her mom while she was till pregnant with her. Her stepfather and her mom were alcoholics. Her family was known to move some 40 times because her stepfather changed jobs a lot. He committed suicide in 1980 and her mom died of cancer at the age of 54. It’s hard to believe that as a child she was cross-eyed. She had two surgeries to correct this problem. JoAnne Galloway made me weak in the knees, she made my palms sweaty and I won’t mention anything about drooling; no I won’t. Demi took that role and made it her own. It was her peak performance for me; the role where she exhibited her best in my humble opinion. Did I mention Demi in uniform? Listen, not just any uniform either – marine uniform… OMG! *more sighs*. Breathe Slym, breathe. The entire cast of that movie gave sterling performances; one of the best movies ever made. Okay, so where were we? Where was I? What was I saying again? Oh yeah, Demi Moore… movies… roles…. career *sighs with face resting in hands*. Her career skyrocketed in the early 90s and with the success of this movie she became the first actress to reach 10 million dollar salary making her the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Moore took a break from acting. A part of the reason was to raise her family. She wanted to be sure that her kids were well grounded and prepared for the world. She returned to the big screen in 2003 in the role of Madison Lee in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. All I can say about Madison is OMG! Yep, that just about sums it up, OMG!!! She had the bod’ of a hotrod…lol, I can’t find other words. You just have to see it for yourself. Personally, I would have preferred some more meat on her bones but still, wow…. OMG! Kelly Preston is perfect. Let me repeat myself, Kelly Preston is p-e-r-f-e-c-t – perfect. It’s not that I think she’s perfect; it’s that she IS perfect. She is flawlessly beautiful. Her smile is endearing, warm, friendly, bright, sweet and sexy.

Her body, umm umm umm, did I say umm…? I agree; I need to be more specific. First let me inhale deeply…. that’s it, now exhale… slowly… yes….. Ok let me try again – her body is… I’ve already used perfect so many times that to use it again would be redundant… let’s just say, every single curve, hump, dimple, etc… is placed with absolute precision. In my humble opinion, she is flawlessly symmetrical; she could hold her own on any runway next to any model.

I could sit and look into her eyes for hours, days, weeks… a lifetime. There’s no choosing of which part of her anatomy I like most. It would be totally unfair to ask me to choose. How do you choose a part of perfection? That’s just not right. If I absolutely had to narrow it down, it would come down to her eyes and her smile but as I said so many times before, it’s not any one thing about Kelly that has me totally enamored. First blog of 2010, yay! And it's an Alicia Keys blog?! No way! Yes, way! Can you think of another more befitting? Well, you probably could but not me for sure! There's no one else I'd rather start my new year with; heck I'd start everyday with her, in person, if I could. (Most of the images enlarge when clicked so feel free.) How hot is Alicia Keys? Just when I think to myself that Alicia Keys can't possibly get any hotter she goes and proves me 100% W-R-O-N-G!!! How the heck does she do it? Seriously! How?! You know what? It doesn't even matter. The most important and delightful thing of all is that she does!!! Whoever is responsible - stylist, manager, personal trainer, chef..., I thank you from the top, bottom and middle of my heart, body, mind and soul; you have my immeasurable and undying gratitude. Over the years I'd watch an Alicia Keys video and go, "Damn that woman is fine. Mmm mmm mmm." Then she'd make another video that makes me go, "OMG that woman's F-I-N-E!" When I saw the video for Doesn't Mean Anything, my reaction was, "OMFG, no no, no; it's not possible, there's no way she can get any hotter now; this is it, yes! Knees don't fail me now." Once again the time is here. The end of the year is drawing near. I am having a little difficulty wrapping myself around that thought that in just about a month from now I would have been doing this for 2 years! Two years; it's somewhat surreal. I know that by now I'm sounding like a broken record but I will say it again; I can also assure you that it won't be the last. Just in case you haven't noticed, I am a very appreciative person. So let me get on with it; I am grateful to each and every single individual who takes the time to visit my little corner on this vast World Wide Web. It is the Holidays and my wish for all of you, including your family, loved ones, friends, confidantes, buddy, pals, etc, etc, is that it's filled with love, joy, peace and happiness. May the warmth of the Season permeate through every household; through every heart whether you celebrate Christmas or not. When the New Year rolls around may it hold for you the most prosperous, generous and bountiful opportunities. I wish you every success for the coming year 2010. May your cupboards always have food to eat, may your friends always be there when you need them, in the event the one door closes may another open with much more advantages than the one just closed. Dear Santa: My Xmas List

Dear Santa: It's that time of year; for giving and getting and spreading good cheer. So in the spirit of the Season I wish to make all of my readers and visitors' holidays as joyful as can be. I've been really really good all year through so now here's my Xmas Wish list to you. "How does this bring cheer to your readers?" I hear you ask. Why, it's very simple really. You give to me and I share with them. You see what I mean, right? I'm not selfish at all; I share and share alike. I don't think my list will be difficult to fill. I'll keep it very simple; I promise I will. Just a few 'items' to celebrate the occasion and not just to celebrate for on cold days they will be absolutely motivational. Okay, okay, I'll cut to the chase. I know you're a very busy man and don't have time to waste. But one more thing, just in case someone else has the same request. I suggest you compare our goodness and surely I will be deemed the best. So in this I take comfort; I will not worry. I just need to have my request filled in a hurry. So many gifts so little time. Don't ask me why I'm composing this post in the form of poetical rhyme. When I started it certainly was not the intention but it seems my thoughts and fingers have made that decision. My list, ah yes, on with the show. Please see what I wish listed below: First of all, I'd like Toni Braxton. Deliver her to me in any form or fashion. Next on the list is the lovely Tina Fey. Winter, snow storm, blizzard, she will brighten my day. Then to follow, I'd like Sonia Rolland, former Miss France. When it gets too cold we will put the music on and do a fancy dance. Send me Sofia Milos, the hottie from Switzerland so we can sit before the fireplace, her hand in my hand. My list also includes Shakira, belly dancer/singer from Colombia. I won't tell you the things I'd like to do to and with her. My next request makes me a little hot under the collar. This is why I know you won't hesitate to let me have her. For with all the cold Winter, having her will definitely reduce the bill of running the heater. Sarah Shahi is an absolute necessity on my list. Roselyn Sanchez is another request. Having would make this Christmas the absolute best. Poppy Montgomery, well I've seen her once or twice. I think having her around especially on Christmas Eve would be very very very nice. I foresee that there will be some nights when I might have trouble falling asleep; nights when just the sound of a certain voice, a certain touch or certain other things would ensure rest that's undisturbed and truly deep. For this I will need Phylicia Rashad. Having her would make me excessively glad. Please, please, please Santa let me have Mariska Hargitay. She is sure to keep me merry, happy and gay! For days that I might be bored and can think of nothing to do from keeping blue, please Santa let me have the gorgeous and energetic Lucy Lui. Before I make my next request, just let me say. This is someone I've been keeping an eye on. Who is she? Without a doubt, it's Lauren London. There isn't much that I can say about my next request. How she maintains her hotness is just about as good as anyone's guess. Laura Linney started her career in 1992 and since then she's been blazing a trail from here all the way to Timbuktu. Dear Santa, I'm tempted to say. If you have to cut everyone else out of the least at least leave this one because with her my night turns to day. I love her. I adore her. She makes my heart flutter and my knees go weak. If I look into her eyes for too long, I'm unable to speak. You just have to send me Jodie Foster. All my life I've lusted, desired and yearned for her. As my list grows and comes closer and closer to the end, I find I have to sit back more and more in my chair because on my own strength I can no longer depend. All these women are so gorgeous; they're taking my breath away. Soon I will be left without words to say. A classic example to show how I feel; yes... go ahead, take a lot at the contagiously sweet, beautiful, warm, breath-taking, hot and sexy Jennifer Beals. The next on my list is sizzling, jaw-dropping, tantalizing; heck she's got to be from another planet. Santa you know I must be referring to the incomparable Miss Janet. I know, I know Santa, this list seems to go on and on but I can't help it I have to make sure everyone is covered. 'Tis the time to be happy I can't take any chance of anyone's spirit being lowered. I've been in love with her for a truly long time. Having her for Christmas will give my life meaning and rhyme. Santa, my final request is for Alicia Keys. I confess it; this bombshell brings me to my knees. I can't think of very many things I would do for her, if any at all. Vacation Notice

Ok, it is with a tinge (just a teeny tiny tinge) of sadness that I inform my faithful fans and followers that I will be going on a MUCH needed vacation.

As you might have noticed from frequency, or should I say infrequency, of posts on my blog lately I have been much challenged for time to update it as often as I would like. And no, it's not because I've run out of hot, intelligent, blog-worthy women either. Why, perish that thought! The world is filled with such women, much to my delight *yay!*. So I'm packing my bags, putting the darn laptop away, getting on a plane and hauling my tired ass off into seclusion. My mind, body and soul have been taxed to the fullest extent over the past several months. I've been going and going and going and going... well, you get the picture. So now this energizer bunny must find the energy source and plug right into the core of it and absorb as much of it as I possibly can.

If the coming year is anything like the last year and a half, I might be inclined to move to Alaska. And while on vacation, if I happen to see a computer of any kind I am almost 100% sure that I will shoot it! Failing emptying a ~~sub machine gun~~ six-shooter into any such device, the next best thing would be to take it into the nearest deserted alley and beat and kick the shit out of it! Now, lets just clear one thing up here, I'm in dire need of rest and relaxation so anything herefore mentioned in this here post cannot be held against me; let the records show that I am totally not myself. So to one and all I wish much more pleasurable times than I have been having lately. If you have to work, I hope it's not too much work. If you don't have to and you still get paid, I want your job. I know you all wish me a pleasant journey and all the pleasures that a vacation can bring so I take this opportunity to thank you profusely. Be good, but not too good, while I'm gone. My house is your house, may there be enough posts to keep you occupied over the next 2 weeks.

Jaslene Gonzalez: At The Top Of Her Game

OK, so I have one eensy, weensy, teeny, tiny problem with Jaslene Gonzalez. What? How can that be? What’s my problem?! Well, since you asked, I’ll tell. How do I put this? I might as well just come right out and say it; girlfriend needs some flesh on her bones. There… I said it. Go ahead; let me have it. Do as you wish and will but that’s my opinion. You can strap me to a chair and bring out the electric charges; the girl is just a bit too skinny. Just because you’re a model doesn’t mean you have to be stick thin. Now moving right along, my little problem does not outweigh the many marvelous accomplishments and pros of Gonzalez in anyway whatsoever. Though I'm not the greatest fan of models or TV reality shows, I’ve got to give props where it’s due. In a nutshell Jaslene Gonzalez is a fashion model and winner of Cycle 8 of Tyra Banks’ America's Next Top Model. She is a native of Puerto Rico who grew up in Humboldt Park, Chicago. As a little girl she had a dream of becoming a model and hats off to her for following that dream. Before trying out for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 7 she had done a bit of modeling. She failed to reach the finals for Cycle 7 but assured the judges that she would be back for Cycle 8. True to her word, she returned for the Cycle 8 tryouts and not only made it to the finals this time around but won the competition. The determination and confidence that she exhibited at the Cycle 7 tryout left an indelible impression on the judges and definitely convinced them that this young woman had remarkable potential. She had an undeniable presence throughout the entire competition having been called to the panel four times, never being ranked in the bottom two and won one reward challenge. If you are not into fashion competitions, catwalks, etc, to even begin to list the print campaigns, fashion houses, designers, etc that Gonzalez has worked for and still has contracts with would bore you to tears. Let’s just say that Gonzalez has made her rounds in the most prestigious circles in her line of work. She has a contract with CoverGirl cosmetics; has modeled for such designers as Ximena Valero, Ashley Paige and Armani; has worked for Latina/Latino designers Elda De La Rosa, James De Colon, Nora Del Busto and Soledad Designs; her face has been plastered on the cover of numerous magazines - local, regional and international and she has made quite a number of television appearances. Gonzalez is currently signed with Faces Model Management Malaysia. The Latina/Latino community adores her and has bestowed considerable awards and recognitions on her. Gonzalez uses her talents to the benefit of those in need. She has done work to benefit the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation and St. Jude Children's Hospital. It gives me great pleasure to feature Jaslene Gonzalez on my site. She represents a lot of the characteristics that I strive to embody and showcase here on my blog. She’s strong-willed, confident and determined. She didn’t let her current circumstances, race, ethnicity or anything else deter her from pursuing her dreams. I must also take this opportunity to give due credit to Tyra Banks for giving these young ladies a shot at their aspirations. Say what you will about Banks, but she must be applauded as well for first following her own ambitions and secondly for having such a big heart to try to give others the same opportunities that she had and in a lot of cases did not have. Jaslene, I wish you well. I am hopeful that your career will continue to blossom and soar. As I’ve done on a lot of other occasions, I issue a caution to stay grounded. I can never stress this enough. The world of a celebrity, especially of a model, is a fierce one. Continue to choose wisely, always be vigilant and strive to make wise decisions in an effort to reap the full benefits of a career that you have worked hard to achieve. Now tell me... Is it hot in here? Did the AC just suddenly stop working or something? Is it just me? Seriously... Gonzalez is hot! She's definitely sexy. And yet another question.... Why do I have this suddent urge to just bite her? She's absolutely scrumptous. What can I do to control this urge? Help! Somebody.. anybody... Please... save me from myself...

Christine Arron: France's Trésor Doré (Golden Treasure)

Christine Arron is one of France's most loved athletes who many consider to be the world's legal fastest sprinter. She is officially ranked the third fastest (10.73) behind Florence Griffity-Joyner and Marion Jones (10.65) but due to the conviction of Jones and the controversy surrounding the performances of world record-holder, Florence Griffith-Joyner, many considers Arron's performance to be the 'true' world record. In 1998 she competed at the European Athletics Championships held in Budapest, Hungary where she broke the record in the 100m race. As a result of her record-breaking performance she was named the 1998 European Women's Athlete of the Year. To date, her record (10.73) has not been broken. At the 2003 World Championships in Athletics held in Paris, Arron brought absolute delight to her national and international supporters when she recovered from a 3m disadvantage to upset the American favorites in the 4x100 relay. In a superb effort on the last leg of the race she brought her team to the center of the podium to collect gold medals for winning the relay. She was born in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe on September 13, 1973 and migrated to France in 1990 where she began training with Fernand Urtebise. She gave birth to her first child, a son, in 2002. The 36 year old who celebrated her birthday some 11 days ago enjoys reading, playing the piano and art. In 2001 she took a year off from training stating that she was physically exhausted. She was training in the US and described the experience as grueling, burdensome and at times unbearable. She has had a few injuries throughout her career. In 2001 hip injury kept her out of the 2001 World Championships. In 2006 she was forced to withdraw from the European Championships in Sweden because of a tear in her left hip adductor. In 2008 she had to withdraw from the World Indoor Championships in Valencia, Spain due to a torn hamstring in her right foot. Prior to her hamstring injury, she also suffered from inflamed tendons in her hip. Arron won the bronze medal in the 4x100m relay at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. In August 2005 she won a bronze medal in the 100 meters and in the 200 meters at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. Before winning gold in 2004, she was ranked in the top 8 at the 2000 Olympic Games, the top 3 at other Olympic Games and top 3 at World Championships. She failed to qualify for the 100m semi finals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She placed first in the first round heat with a time of 11.37 but was disqualified in the second round with a time of 11.36 which gave her a fourth place finish automatically causing her to be eliminated. She has done her country proud. She has made her fans the world over happy. She has given her best to the sport of athletics. She is diligent, persevering, dedicated and convicted. France loves her. Her fans adore her. I tip my hat to her. Christine Arron is without a doubt one of France's trésors dorés. Back in March Les Dessous du Sport published a post vilifying France's love of Arron. When asked who is the favorite sports woman in France, the results were as follows: Arron 32%, Laure Manaudou 26%, Jeannie Longo 24% and Amélie Mauresmo 17%.

Lolo Jones: Truly Inspiring

Lolo Jones's story reads like so many other athletes and individuals who have triumphed over countless obstacles. The best part about it, at least for me, is that no matter how many times I hear of or read of stories with such a team, it's always inspiring.

For the most part hearing about similar things over and over again usually evokes a reaction of 'oh, not this again'; you know like those movies that although are given a different name the story remains the same. The effect is reversed when one is presented with real life stories that tell of heroes/heroines who against all odds, rise to the top.

This is the story of Lori Jones. She came from the humblest of beginnings; living in a church basement; attending eight different schools in eight years; living a life absent of a father who was either away on duty in the Air Force or doing time in jail and living with four different families while attending high school. She was raised by her mom who often held down two jobs to support her family of six.

Nothing about Jones's life was stable. Nothing except for the fact that she knew at an early that she wanted to be a professional athlete. With this in mind, Jones refused to relocate with her family to Forest City, Iowa and pointedly told her mom that the reason for this was that there was no track at the school there. This was the beginning of a whole new life for the young Jones.

She enrolled in Theodore Roosevelt High School in Des Moines where she excelled in the classroom and began building the foundation of her career to come. While at school she earned the title of Gatorade Midwest Athlete of the Year and set and still holds the 100-meter hurdle record with a time of 13:40 in the Iowa state track meet.

Jones's specialty is the 60 and 100 meter hurdles. Her accomplishments include winning 3 NCAA titles, 11 All-American honors at LSU where she earned a degree in economics, she won indoor national titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009, she won her first World Indoor Championship title in 2008 and was the Silver Medal finalist at the 2008 World Athletics Final. Her performance in the 60 meter hurdles is the second fastest time for an American. Gail Devers holds the number one spot. It's safe to say that 2008 was a very good year for Jones.

One look at Jones will reveal that she's not your average all American. This is because she is of French, Native American, African American and Norwegian descent. This combination has given Jones a very unique and distinct look. Her skin tone is hard to categorize but is truly beautiful, she's got sexy eyes and an amazingly beautiful smile. Add all of these attributes to the fact that she has the immaculate body of a true athlete and the result is swoon, thud and sighs. Yep, I'm reduced to actions and not words *more sighs*.

Lolo currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and her sponsors are Asics and Oakley. She has had some unfortunate incidences in her professional career. The most significant being her participation in the 2008 Beijing Olympics where she was favored to win the 100 meter hurdles.

Jones was well on her way; putting distance between the other hurdlers when she clipped the 9th (of 10) hurdles and stumbled causing her to finish in 7th place. She was close to tears on the track and cried openly afterwards in the corridors. It was a truly heart-wrenching experience for Jones and many others who watched and supported her - Americans and non-Americans alike.

Over the years Jones has shared her success with her alma mater and others in her state/community. Her contributions include track shoes for all of the members of the track team at Roosevelt High School, monetary donations to improve the surface of the track and provide other equipment as well. She also made a monetary contribution to a single mother who was greatly affected by the Iowa flood of 2008.

Jones has had her share of successes so far in her career but I'm sure she has a lot more to offer and look forward to seeing her realize those goals. I have remained somewhat reserved in creating this post but that is at all no indication that Jones isn't utterly HOT because damn, she is!

She can reduce any woman or man to a blundering clutch just by being in the same room. I can see myself knocking over the waiter, tripping over the chair and landing face down because I couldn't keep my eyes off of her as I was making my way to my table in a fancy restaurant.

Tyra I Will Always Love You

Let's get straight to the point. I l-o-v-e... love Tyra Banks. That's right. I'm not afraid to declare it for all to read. I'm secure in myself like that. It has absolutely ~~everything~~ nothing to with the dire hope that Tyra will somehow miraculously happen stumble upon this blog and let me know how much she loves me too and appreciate my shameless declaration of love. Why would any of you even think that? Why it's almost comical, right? Riiiiight. You have to admit that there's a lot to love about Tyra. The first but definitely not the foremost reason is that this amazing beauty is super sexy and definitely a head turner. What? Her sex appeal is the first trait I put forward. So what? You got a problem with that? And don't you dare label me as shallow, gullible or lecherous. How dare you? The simple fact is that I appreciate the finer, if not finest, qualities in women.

But back to the topic at hand. Besides being a hottie, Tyra Banks has certainly proven to the world at large that there's more to her that just outward beauty. She's caring; she's honest and she's not afraid to express her opinion. Tyra is genuine, she's down to earth; she's real and keeps it real. One of the qualities I like most about Tyra is that she is one of the most confident women to grace the face of the earth. I love her strut; I do. I love her poise. I love the way she carries herself. You can feel her confidence from way across the room or permeating into your room from the television. She's got an exceptional sense of style. Everyone has a bad attire day, including Banks of course; hey she's human, but she doesn't have very many. At least not that I have seen or have been made aware of. In more ways than one, I think Banks is a trendsetter. She takes the bulls by the horn. She does her own thing. She's immensely positive and this is unmistakably projected in her personality. She welcomes challenges. She takes the good with the bad and does her best with either one. She can handle herself and has no qualms about responding to criticism which are aimed at belittling or degrading her character. I like that; I like that a lot. She will tell you where to go or shove it if the situation calls for it. Yep, Tyra Banks is all woman. < Notwithstanding her strength, I don't think anyone can deny that Banks also has a humble spirit. This makes me realize why I love her so much. She strikes a perfect balance. This is rear, especially for someone of such high celebrity status; a woman who has been and will always be a supermodel to me and a lot more people in this world. So many, in fact too many, crumble under the pressure that such fame brings. Did I mention that Banks is an astute business woman? I didn't? Well, in all fairness to myself, I'm not done yet so it's ok. I have a lot more to say. You can bet your bottom dollar that I do. Her titles are many; former super model - Victoria's Secrets Angel, mega media personality, actress and business woman (founder and owner of TYInc). You can also add author to this list as well. What a woman! She is the creator and host of America's Next Top Model, co-creator of True Beauty and host of her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show. GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against the Defamation) recently honored Banks with the Excellence in Media Award. Banks is the daughter of fashion Manager and NASA photographer (mother Karolyn) and a computer consultant (Donald Banks) and has one older brother (Devin). She started modeling in the 11th grade. On her first visit to Paris she landed a deal for 25 shows within her first week making her the first newcomer in the business to accomplish such a feat. On her long list of firsts, she was the first African American woman to appear on the covers of not only GQ Magazine but also the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Go Tyra!!! Yeah!!! That's my girl. You would think she was done right? Well, think again. In 1997 she became the first-ever African American chosen for the cover of the Victoria's Secret catalog. She won VH1's coveted Supermodel of the Year Award in that same year. Banks is the author of Tyra's Beauty, Inside and Out. The booked was published in 1998 and Banks wrote the book with the intention of helping women to make the most of their natural beauty. She started her television career in 1993 in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She appeared in 7 episodes. She made several other television appearances and can be seen in music videos of some of the most noted artists in the industry including Michael Jackson's Black or White, Tina Turner's Love Thing, Mobb Deep's Trife Life and George Michael's Too Funky. She made her big screen debut in 1995 when she was given the role of Deja in Higher Learning. This role put her with the likes of Omar Epps, Kristy Swanson, Jennifer Connelly and Ice Cube. Gabriela Sabatini Has The Heart of A Champion

What word or phrase can you use to describe a woman who is a star athlete, has the heart of a champion, puts her heart and soul into the game and has a smile that warms your heart but at the same time makes it flutter and become weak in the knees? How would you go about painting a picture of a woman who has just the right amount of muscle tone, not bulk; but firm, healthy, strong, rigid and perfectly shaped muscles in all the right places? What word is befitting of a super athlete with silky smooth, shiny raven colored hair that beckons you to run your fingers through it or brush it away from a wonderfully symmetrical face? She has a face and body that you want to reach out and caress or wake up to for the rest of your life. So, someone please help me out here. How do you put Gabriela Sabatini into words, excluding her illustrious career? For the moment, let's not even touch that part of this Argentinean beauty. For me, the answer to the question (or should I say those questions) does not come easily. I think the first word that comes to mind is phenomenal. I also think of fantastic, powerful, hot - yes really hot. I think of and feel commanding energy and presence when I think of Gabriela. I can imagine her stopping me in my tracks by just throwing a glance my way. I can very well picture me being unable to speak, if the gods would ever see it fit for me to meet this stunning magnificient breath-taking venus. Gabriela Beatriz Sabatini holds the power to make me hop on one leg and go 'woof woof' reminiscent of that scene in Coming To America. I'm serious. Look at the woman! Look at her? Don't you feel tremors in your knees? You don't? Ok, so maybe it's just me then. Oh, I'm sorry; I didn't see all those other hands back there agreeing with me. Forgive me. See, I knew I wasn't the only one. I just knew it. Do you know something else that is absolutely fascinating about this imperial tennis goddess? The woman gets hotter with age? How does she do it? Have you seen her lately? Do me a favor,the next time you see her tell her to give me a call. Hey, don't look at me like that! No, that's not what I was thinking at all. You think you know me but you don't. Ok, ok, so you do. It's really hard to come off as coy and innocent after I've been hanging my tongue out and panting after all of these gorgeous women on my blog. Can you picture Sabatini in the role of Xena? As a matter of fact, in the world of tennis, she pretty much played the role. Her career reads like a perfectly thought out and created plan. She made her tennis debut at the age of 6; yes that's what I said, 6. She had her first win 2 years later. At the age of 13 Sabatini became the youngest person to win the Orange Bowl in Miami. Her trailblazing did not end there. In 1984 she was ranked the #1 Junior player in the world. At age 15 she was the youngest player ever to qualify for the French Open semifinals. A year later Sabatini turned pro. (For some reason, this is my favorite Sabatini picture of them all. There's something about the stride, her body language says, I'm cool, calm confident, contented, comfortable and happy in my skin and with my life.) In a career that spanned form 1976 to 1996 she has won a total of 27 Singles Titles and 14 Doubles Titles. Her highest rank in her pro career was in February of 1989 when she was #3 behind Steffi Graf and Monica Seles. She represented her country at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul where she won the silver medal in the women's singles finals losing the gold to Stefi Graf. She and Graf then teamed up to win the gold in the doubles finals. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on July 15, 2006. *What the hell took them so long?* Her career fizzled after 1992. Her last win was in 1995 when she defeated Lindsay Davenport in Sydney. She retired in 1996. Sabatini has her own line of perfume which she launched in 1989 called Gabriela Sabatini and in 1992 a fiery red rose was named in her honor Gabriela Sabatini Rose, she published a motivational book My Story in 1994 and in this same year a doll was created in her honor. Not bad for the girl from Buenos Aires; not bad at all. I've watched her play. I followed her career. It was quite a ride; an enjoyable and exciting ride. Gabriela Sabatini was one of the driving forces in the circuit of tennis the late 1980s and early 1990s. There is no doubt that she has made and invaluable contribution to the world of female tennis as we know it today. She was a dynamic player and a stunning beauty. She took and expended all of her energy to the tennis court. She played like a champion and reaped the benefits of playing in that vein. I admire her. I respect her. I hold her in very high esteem. Plus, the woman is hot! She's exciting; she gets the blood pumping through my veins. She creates a conflict in me. You know the kind where you want to keep the respect and admiration in check but the compelling sex appeal is creating so much pressure that you're just bursting at the seams? Yes that kind of conflict. That's the one Sabatini creates in me. Hey! You know what? Hell, who says I can't do both? I won't respect her any less if I think of... well... let's just say 'having my way with her' *yes that's so subtle... it just might work, after all, I didn't really say anything, right?*. There's no rule against lusting after someone you admire and respect, is there? Of course not! Why that rule would be totally ludicrous if it existed. And heck, I'd be the first to march against it. They can't do a thing like that! It's just... hell what am I going on about, there is no such rule. In as much as Sabatini makes my knees rubbery, I have to confess that I know someone who she makes giddy, bonkers and all those other words that mean the same thing. In fact, I have serious concerns as to whether or not I should have the paramedics on hand to administer immediate assistance at her door when I know she will read this. Here's hoping I won't need to have the paramedics. Instead let me start with this bit of advice *this should help a lot*, "breathe love, breathe". Damn, I should have put this at the beginning of the post. I'm sure it's too late now. What's the number for 911 again?

Chanté Keeps Giving Me Moore

I'm sitting here with my fingers hovered over the keys trying to decide how to start this post. What do I say? How do I say it? I'm not kidding. I developed, and to this day still have, a major crush on Moore. Chanté Torrane Moore is a fine woman. She is a gorgeous woman. Thoughts of her make me giddy. Believe me when I say it, when I fell for her I was convinced that it was impossible to fall any harder or deeper. I tell you now, I was wrong. In fact, I couldn't be more wrong. If you only knew how many times I would stay up to watch Midnight Love on BET. I would be tired like hell the next day but I couldn't miss it because Chanté more likely than not would be featured. Take note of the 'more likely than not' because sometimes she wouldn't be on but it was worth it for the times that she was. Have any of you seen the video for It's Alright? Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm. It's my favorite Chanté video. Ah man... Chanté... white spaghetti strap dress (I say dress but it looks very much like a nightgown and if it isn't, it doesn't matter because this is what I see when I look at or think of it). **sighs** Chanté Moore... **more sighs**. I've totally lost track of all I intended to say *even more sighs*. This is the effect that Moore has on me. I get all dreamy... lost in my thoughts... ooh the thoughts... Where was I? This is not an easy composition. I am seriously taking 3 - 5 minute pauses to recover. Moore has a daughter, Sophia, with ex-husband Kadeem Hardison *how he could let her get away is beyond me* and a son, Kenny, with singer husband Kenny Lattimore. Her music falls into the R&B and Jazz genres. She's a former model and beauty pageant contestant. In 1992, she released her first album, Precious. The debut album went gold. She followed up with A Love Supreme in 1994 and This Moment Is Mine in 1999, both these albums were also certified gold. My favorite Moore songs include I See You In A Different Light *this is my most favorite of all* with Jojo Hailey of K-Ci and Jojo from her This Moment Is Mine album. This song was featured in the move Love And Basketball and is a true ballad as far as ballads go. Another song that is a great contender for most favorite of all is the upbeat, mid-tempo, head-bopping, finger snapping and all round feel good tune, Straight Up off of her 2001 album, Exposed. Your Home Is In My Heart, done with Boys II Men for the How Stella Got Her Groove Back soundtrack is another song that gets played out by me, even still today. Other songs that come to mind are It's Alright (this is the song/video that captured my attention and brings back a surge of memories of falling head over heels for Moore - it holds a very special meaning for me), Old School Lovin', Love's Taken Over, Chanté's Got a Man and You Don't Have To Cry. Moore has sold over 5 million albums and singles throughout her career. Her 2003 album, Things That Lovers Do has been her highest ranking album on the Billboard Charts so far. I think I'll just sit here for a while and soak up all of the goodness, hotness, sultry sexiness, scrumptious, exquisite, smooth, sensuous and magnificent beauty that is Chanté Moore *sighs.......* just look at that rear......mmm mmm mmm...*

Since I am quite pressed for time, I thought I'd put on a little show today. I think the mood and tone are just right for the parade is about to follow.
