SpacePak Announces New High Efficiency Air Distribution Module - AirCell

Westfield, MA - May 17, 2012 - SpacePak, the originator of small duct high velocity air conditioning and heating systems announced the introduction of their latest high efficiency air distribution module, AirCell. AirCell incorporates the use of high efficiency variable speed fans with EC motor technology in conjunction with a unique low temperature heating and cooling hydronic coil design to operate in perfect synergy with today's high efficiency condensing boilers, reverse-cycle chillers/heat pumps and geothermal applications. AirCell operates silently at a mere 22 dBA at 3'and uses 30% less energy than traditional on/off configurations while reducing harmful CFC's by up to 40-60% over conventional DX systems. A state-of-the-art integrated control platform continuously monitors system operation and adjusts fan speeds and zone dampers in response to their pre-programmed set-points. AirCell comes standard with 2 built-in zones capable of accommodating 4 flexible small duct outlets each for complete application flexibility.

The new G Series ESP horizontal air handler features a proprietary MTI control board to accommodate a wide range of control options including:

The new Air Control Module (ACM) brings the control of ECM technology to small duct high velocity (SDHV) applications. The ACM enables the perfect matching of the SpacePak air distribution system with the widest range of energy efficient outdoor units. Precision air volume control allows for maximum energy savings and home owner comfort. Even greater efficiencies can be achieved when coupled with our new 93% efficient ThermaPak combi boiler.
