Next Episode

Due to unfortunate computer issues on Emma Lee's end, we have been unable to record our most recent episode. However, we're hoping that we can do so tonight, and I'll have it ready by Sunday.

This is, though, only tentative. Emma's computer may not be fixed on time, and, seeing as I'm going to be leaving on Monday, and still have packing to do, it may not be ready by then. If we manage to record, but the episode isn't ready on Sunday, then it will definitely be ready by Monday evening, because I will have at least three and a half hours in the car on Monday while heading off to college.

On the same note, because of my moving, our recording schedule may be erratic in the future. I'm going to be working in a theater, and have been told by my boss that I may be getting off work anywhere from five in the evening to two in the morning, depending on what needs to get done and when the deadline is and when we get the projects. It's really going to be a lot of fun. Hopefully, this will not affect you, the listeners, at all. Emma and I will be recording whenever possible, and I will be editing like crazy to get these to you on a somewhat-regular basis. There will always be two episodes a month, at least through the summer. We will inform you, come September, if we have to take it down to once a month due to our separate school and work schedules.

On that note, I hope you have been enjoying our podcast so far, because God knows we've been enjoying it. Continue listening, spread the word, send us fanmail, and enjoy life.

Dearest Listeners,

You have no idea what I have been going through. I have been trying and trying to give you something I would want for myself; the ease of listening to our podcast directly online, no downloads necessary. Unfortunately, this was not to be. It seems that the only way we can get it so that you can listen online and have enough file-space to upload each episode as a whole is to pay for it. And Emma Lee and I have no money.

That being said, you will have to download the files, as not being able to upload just ruins this for everyone. However, I will be giving you my word as a writer, a sister, a daughter, and a fangirl that no harm will come to your computers. The files will be uploaded virus-free. I am using Google, and they are nothing if not satisfactory and safe. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you, but I assure you that your computers will be fine.

Now that that's out of the way, the podcast is recorded, edited, and uploaded! All you have to do is wait for tomorrow!

Heh, heh, heh...

Why the ominous laughter, you ask?

Well, last night, Sarah Kate and I had a successful recording of the very first episode of "Small Screen Adventures".

And no, I'm still not telling you what we watched. You'll see soon enough - on Monday, in fact!

Sorry to disappoint, but through a horrific set of circumstances, Sarah Kate and I were unable to record this weekend.

Hopefully, we will be able to record on Wednesday. And then, by the ninth (a week from now!!!) you will have the very first episode of Small Screen Adventures!!!!!

I am so excited...

Well, we've got our theme song! And no, I'm not going to tell you what it is yet. Ask Sarah Kate if you want more info. She's kind of the muscle behind this thing; I've got all the brains.

(wait, what?)

Um. I can tell you that the fandoms we've got planned include ones that we are both fully immersed in and have been since infancy, ones that are relatively new to the both of us but we still both love, (at least) one that will be completely new to one of us, and ones that either of us have dabbled in and the other is obsessed with fully and completely. There will be musicals, there will be live-action and cartoon TV shows, there will be live-action and cartoon movies, and books.

See you later - hopefully sometime in April!

This will be the home of the Small Screen Adventures podcast, in which two geeky girls watch TV shows and movies and you get to hear our reactions as they happen! We'll be posting twice a month to start, recording the first and third Fridays of each month, and then releasing the podcast the next Monday (so I have the weekend to edit!). We start posting in April, so be ready!
