Instead of the usual orange, I decided to dip into my yarn stash in search of a fun take on a super cute classic.

While I'm enjoying the calm after the storm, I'm also hoping you made it through the last month with a little more grace than I managed. I rolled into Christmas with my hair on fire, fueled by the gale force winds and bitter cold temps as I was forced to purchase gifts as a product of my own procrastination.

It has been way too long), was to tell you all about these fun little puff pastries I made for yesterday's Independence Day party. I love puff pastry anything but I've never actually baked it, so this was a little something new for me.

I simply plop them in the microwave for a minute or so, drop them in my coat pockets and soak up the heat on cold, blustery days. Their warmth doesn't last as long as commercial hand warmers, but you also don't have to shake them until your fingers go numb. Plus, they are all-natural, reusable and super stinkin' cute!

I love hexagons, but it's always hard for me to see a group of them without thinking beehives and bees. Hence, the "Be(e) Mine" sentiment.
