I love this Cathi, I, too, appreciate a morning ritual when I can spend time reading my Bible, praying, and being in awe of the wonder of all of life, even the parts that confuse of frustrate me.

And the scripture about casting your nets on the right side of the boat was the encouragement I needed 7 years ago to start my own business; to listen to what the Lord was telling me to do and a path to reap true abundance.

Thank you!

I agree with Susan that the words are so important. I used to not even notice the words when I would sing when I was younger. It was all about the music, the blend, the sound. I've learned as I get older that the words have the biggest impact. Sometimes they are so important, I get chocked up! Not the best when you are trying to sing, but as you said, its about the emotions as well. Thanks for your blog.

I am really enjoying this theme and the posts thus far! Sue Steege's reached me in the middle of sacrificing 30 hours of time to teach religious education this summer. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with my paying job work requirements and that post really help reorient me and appreciate the opportunity I had to be with my religious education students!!
