]]> Sue Ryerson is the producer and creator of a documentary film project called “I’m Not Crazy.”  The film focuses on Bipoloar Disorder, which was formerly know as Manic Depression.  Sue has been living with it for over two decades, and now she has decided to speak out in order to educate others about the disorder and speak out against the stigma.

]]> Langley Tax wanted to educate his potential clients on the various options for tax preparation. It was also important to show why Langley Tax was qualified to handle pretty much anything tax and accounting related.  Greg Langely, the owner, turned to Smart Aleck Films to get the job done.

I met Greg Langley of Langley Tax at an awards banquet and it was there that he told me that he needed a video for his business. It was a random meeting, but we hit it off and I met with him a few weeks later. We shot the video at his office in one day and we were fortunate enough to have local radio talent Veronica Waters do the voiceover.  We had a great time at the shoot and Mr. Langley loved the finished product.

]]> Smart Aleck Films had the honor of shooting a sizzle reel for Kaira Akita, a NAACP award winning actress and producer based in Los Angeles.  She and her company, Reality Revolution, seek to offer an alternative to offensive, conflict-based reality programming by producing shows that change peoples’ lives for the better.  We had a great time working with Kaira and the four women highlighted in the teaser.  The shoot was a blast and we were touched by the personal stories of the participants.
