Idle Tower Builder. like other Airapport games, has a system of bonus codes. We post it weekly it in Airapport Discord, Airapport Reddit, Airapport Youtube community. And the players can enter the codes via the game menu and receive a bonus, like, extra coins, science or rubies, jump to future, long-time boost to production or even an instant completion of the tower's floor.

The validity of these codes is one week. Also codes with unlimited validity can be found in the videos of youtubers playing Idle Tower Builder, like this one by Real Civil Engineer or by Idle Cub.

Where to find a code is a popular search by the players :) So we decided to add one more way for them to find bonus codes, which rewards attentiveness. Some game facilities will occasionally show the bonus codes, and if you are attentive enough, you can enter them via the in-game menu.

It's worth noting that these codes and codes form the community are different, so attentive and community active players will receive double rewards!

Farm and Mine 1.7.3: major content update

Our game Farm and Mine has been active for almost 5 years. The first development steps were made when we heard the theme of Ludum Dare 48 in April 2021. It was "Deeper and Deeper" and we immediately thought of a game where you dig potatoes, and then dig deeper for natural resources like oil, coal or iron ore.

The initial game jam idea has expanded to an incremental city builder an resource management simulator with 67 facilities, 45 resources, 64 inventions, 42 professions, 46 achievements and 6 cats :)

Here is how a fully-developed city looks like:

We are thankful to players for keeping posting new idea of what to add into the game. And here we proudly present the newest content update v.1.7.3. It further develops the city center and the outskirts.

During the previous streaming marathon we added 2 facilities, Bank and Library, which store invention points and money for the player to be used after the prestige restart. But the newly restarted city had been empty and the player still had to work to produce and sell food to regain population. Now the Hotel works as the population storage to be used after the restart. This allows the player to immediately hire useful specialists for the city rebuilding. Hotel invention is unlocked after Marketing (II) and Skyscrapers

Clock tower uses the idea from our another game, Idle Tower Builder. When upgraded it speeds up the flow of time. As speeding up the time is a very advanced scientific concept, it unlocks after Science (IV)

The left part of the city expands the "Mine" part of the game. You can mine for gold and gems, produce jewelry and sell it. The whole invention branch gradually unlocking these facilities becomes available after Professionalism (III), Economy (II) and Drilling

Did you notice the helicopter taking the gold from the mine? Do you know where does it take it? To the mint to produce coins! Yes, I decided to include an easter egg from out first idle game, Steampunk Idle Spinner, and added a machine which produces coins when a connected cogwheels is rotated. First you can transport gold to the mint manually (by placing the auto-clicker on the pile of gold near the mine. Later, after Logistics (III) and Oil refining, Flight invention is unlocked, enabling the purchase of helicopter. Helicopter needs gasoline for the flight. Previously gasoline was required only by the tractor, perhaps now there will be more demand in this resource.

The royal guards and police near the mint and jewelry store boost production (just like cats for other facilities :) ), and their invention is unlocked after Professionalism (V).

Third Piglet's Tower - HTML5 released!

Today we are releasing our tower building game on Poki.

The Third Piglet's Tower

It revolves around the idea of the third piglet building a strong stone house. In our game this piglet involves a whole team of friends to complete this task: some are mining for stone, some are producing bricks from that tone, others are chopping wood, operating the crane or even conduct space exploration missions!

Every of 30 tower floors unlocks something new for the player.

This game has an interesting history :) We started making a tower building game in 2020 as a purely web game, then we migrated to Mobile, and finally brought all the mobile features reworked and reimagined back to web.

This puzzle has a long and interesting story :) I thought of this idea long ago having read about Berry paradox, which is connected with naming numbers by means of language. I made several experiments in this direction throughout several years, but the ultimate push to finalize this game and release it I've got when I won the Ukrainian branch of "1 Percent Club" (S01E08).

The game is free, you won't see ads if you haven't called for them. The monetization takes place only if you want to earn hints (either by in-app or watching a rewarded video).

There are several levels of hints in each puzzle. Some of them are embedded into the puzzle itself, others can be unlocked by the player.

Achievements and Leaderboards in Farm and Mine!

Farm and Mine v.1.6.0 has 42 achievements connected to Game Center on iOS and Play Games on Android.

Achievements span across the whole gameplay: from "Bridge Review" for constructing the first bridge to "The Swarm" for performing 1 million bee flights to the flowers. Some of them are awarded once your idle production reaches the required amount (like "Perfetto" for baking 1000 pizzas), while the others require some non-standard actions from your side. For example, will you be able to make all 6 cats in the game purr simultaneously to unlock "Purr-fect"?

To optimize the game performance the achievement unlock conditions are triggered by the events connected by them. So, if you overdid the current requirements, for example, for the "Iron Answer" (which are upgrade your Forge to level 42) and your current upgrade level is higher, just make one more upgrade and the achievement will be awarded for you.

Besides achievements the game also has leaderboards: your city population is submitted there when you start the game session or when you decided to restart. Reaching certain population level is awarded with achievement as well: I added a group of 6 achievements which are named after Ukrainian and world cities which have the population alike. They are: Baturyn (population 2500), Pereyaslav (population 25000), Kropyvnytskyi (population 220 000), Kharkiv (population 1 500 000), Alexandria (population 5 000 000) and Tokyo (population 40 000 000). If you have been playing for a long time, you might get all of them as soon as you start your first session in the updated version.

Steampunk Idle Spinner was released to Steam with 7 world full of incredible machines!

Steampunk Idle Spinner is released to Steam as a part of Ukrainian Games Festival 2025!

The game has 7 worlds with incredible machines in them, featuring major gaslamp fantasy concepts: cogwheels, conveyor belts, automatons, electric charges, underwater bases, floating islands, mechanical houses, steam engines!

The path to Steam release was quite long: 8 year ago, in summer 2017, the first lines of code were written and the first animated GIF was posted to Reddit. The game engine was rewritten several times, and the game art, controls and balance changed often, as a response to testers' feedback.

During its development the game was the winner/finalist in several gamedev contests: in Kyiv, Prague, Helsinki, Skövde and Los Angeles. Together with future players we conducted a month-long streaming marathon adding the finalizing touches to the game. BTW, all the game is entirely human-made: both the code and art and sound.

So, now, thanks to the support of our community, Steam version is ready to play! And we in Ukraine can stay at home making games thanks to the protection of our Defense forces and help from our friends worldwide. Thank you!

Idle Tower Builder 1.7: TODO tasks, characters and HTML5 version

Our Idle Tower Builder has received a significant update v.1.7

To make the interaction with the game messages more immersive set of hand-drawn game characters were added into the game. Like all the rest of the game content, characters were drawn manually, without any use of generative AI.

To keep the player busy while the new tower floor is being completed the TODO system was introduced. You'll receive tasks, for example, to gather a required amount of resource or to upgrade a facility, and the n you'll receive a reward for the task completion. The reward can be a bulk sum of coins, science or rubies, or a timed bonus which increases a certain game parameter by 4 times.

And, finally, the game has full HTML5 support!

Regarding this, our Idle Tower Builder has interesting story. First it was made as Babel Tower for web using Javascript/Phaser, then for mobile and PC release the code was rewritten into cross-platform Action Script 3 with AIR/Starling support. In terms of game features those versions went well ahead from the HTML5 one: the mobile tower had 30 floors of content whereas the web tower only 16.

As the players were still able to find the outdated HTML5 version and asked for updates, I wrote a Python script to convert my AS3 code back to JS and make the HTML5 version consistent to the Mobile and PC.

So, Idle Tower Builder goes fully cross-platform! And all the game versions are now compatible: you can play on one platform, export your game save and load it on another one. Also the bonus codes which I post on Discord can be activated anywhere. And when the mobile version receives new features, HTML5 will gain them, too.

New big content update of Farm and Mine. Ice-cream, Marketing and Skyscrapers

Our Farm and Mine is an incremental idle resource manager focsued on the production chains automation.

The very first game version was created at Ludum Dare, then released on PocketGamer Launchpad. For now it has been live for 3 years already and yesterday we released the next content update. It's based mainly on the feedback we receive for our posts here, in r/incremental_games, and also in our Discord community.

In the previous version the players faced three main inconveniences.

1. The Refrigerator produced way too much ice to be used by the Lemonade maker. Also, after upgrading the White Cat, the milk produced by the Cow was also in abundance. So, a natural solution came - to use milk, ice and sugar to produce ice-cream! Also, this content addition aligns with the current extremely hot summer.

2. As the line of the houses grew longer, it took the transporting cart longer and longer to deliver resources to the construction site. And the players who played Idle Tower Builder suggested that we integrate the engine elements from that game into Farm and Mine. So, the construction crane was added, with own transporter cart. After its invention the player can expand the houses and gain more living places.

3. Most of the sellers' upgrades had the effect of increasing the selling price. Only the vegetable, milk and grocery sellers increased the selling quantities. And many resources tended to stockpile. So, we added Marketing invention, which is multi-leveled. With every level this invention increases the amounts of simultaneously sold goods.

Also there are several convenience/rebalansing updates. For example, now it's possible to redistribute prestige points in batches of 10, 100 or 1000. Also the prices of the goods in the Grocery were increased. And the requirements for building the initial houses are reduced to let the new players get into the game easier.

Another big addition is the Tasks system. Once in a while the player will be given a task, like "Produce 1000 Perfume". Performing this task will give resources: money, idea or prestige.

We are going to work for the next four months to bring new aspects to the game, such as international trade, skyscrapers building, additional production chains, together with overall interface and stability improvements.

Friends, 2 years ago Russia launched a full-scale invasion against our country, Ukraine. It committed so many war crimes that it proved to be a real terrorist state.

When the invasion began many game development communities and companies declared that their values align with freedom, rights, life, and supported Ukrainian defenders, who are protecting these exact values against the Russian invasion.

The messages "We stand with Ukraine" were so heartwarming and supported the spirit of Ukrainians who in winter 2022 amidst the explosions and air raids had to find ways to survive and protect others.

When Russia attacked Ukraine on Feb 24 2022 the world was shocked. But isn't it a much bigger shock that attacks continue for over 2 years?

Now, after 730 days, Ukraine stands, and people like us can live, only thanks to the defense of the Ukrainian defense forces. We are thankful to all our friends from the whole world who provide Ukraine with the vital supplies.

Within the recent months we see that pro-terrorussian forces are doing everything they can to delay the delivery of these lifesaving supplies. Therefore we address you, players of our games, common people like us, with a request to further support Ukrainian defenders.

How to add your language into Airapport games

Airapport games such as Farm and Mine and Idle Tower Builder gathered international community: as of Nov 2023 there are over 19000 members on the games' Discord server.

To make it easier for the players who speak different languages to play the games the translation engine is included. Most of the initial translations were made automatically, but many players suggested to help with the texts improvement.

To make it easier to improve the current translations and to add new languages we created a special Github repository: Airapport Community Translations. This repository contains language files which can be edited and placed into the game's data\translations\ folder, and your changes will appear in the game at once. These files are compatible with Farm and Mine v.1.2.5 or higher and with Idle Tower Builder v.1.4.11 or higher.

How to make fixes in one of the current game languages

This repository contains 2 folders: trans/farm - with the language files for Farm and Mine and trans/tower - with the language files for Idle Tower Builder. These are json files which can be edited with any text editor. The section "phrases" of a language file contains pairs "key":"value" for the translated text. For convenience these pairs are grouped by their meaning: "general interface", "buildings", "inventions", etc. You can corrent any translation or tranlate the terms in "untranslated" groups.

Once done, please, save the file. To test your translation, please, use the Itch version of the corresponding game, and place the updated language file to the data\translations\ folder.

To let other players use your translation, please, update the file in the repository and make a pull request. Don't forget to fill in the "lang_translator" value so that we will thank you in the game!

How to add new language

Copy en.json file under another name. Fill in the "lang_code" and "lang_selfname" fields to identify new language. Add your information as "lang_translator" and tell about the state of the translation in "lang_translation_comment". And finally, change all the English texts from the keys into the desired language.

Test the translation on your game copy by placing the new file to data\translations\ folder, and once everything is ready, please, submit the new file to this repository to make it available for other players, and to be included into the mobile updates of the Airapport games, too

Farm and Mine 1.2.2: it's easier to regain your progress after a midgame restart

The first lines of Farm in Mine were written 2.5 years ago at the Ludum Dare 48 game jam. The theme was "Deeper and Deeper" and it gave an idea of a game where the player first digs potatoes and then reaches coal, iron, oil and other natural deposits.

Since then the game is updated with new content, concepts and convenience improvements. In its current state there are 52 work facilities, 28 professions, 51 inventions, 6 cats, 8 permanent prestige upgrades. Here is a teaser of a fully unlocked farm:

Many ideas from the newest update were suggested by the viewers of my livestream. During the whole September we were running a streaming marathon where we played Farm and Mine for 30-60 minutes every day. During the streams we shared strategy advice, answer questions and discuss plans for the future. Totally the streaming marathon took 19 hours and consists of 38 series.

This experience helped us spot and fix various gameplay issues. Sometimes we even did programming right on the stream.

The biggest issue spotted was a difficulty to regain progress after a midgame restart. The commonly used strategy to do it was the following: wait till the game offers you a daily reward, but don't use this reward right aways. Instead, restart, gain prestige points, and after this get a daily reward (which might be coins or ideas). This tactic helps to regain progress after a restart, but the restarts were limited by the availability and the value of the daily bonus.

So to make the players restart easier we added 2 new facilities: Bank and Library. The corresponding inventions for them are unlocked after the inventions Economy(2) and Science(1).

Once constructed, these building start generate coins and ideas. But not for immediate use. Instead, these resources will be available for use only after your restart the game. So, once you construct Bank and Library you'll be able to restart at a time which is the most convenient for you.

Among other improvements the update 1.2.2 brings are:

It's possible to roll back all Workforce upgrades at once
Inventions button is on the main screen
It's possible to clear earning statistics, to let you easier spot the current best earning facility
Formula for the prestige gain is adjusted (earlier it had slight discrepancies due to float numbers)
Issue with the Steam Engine stopping over time was partly fixed: now it's possible to manually stop the conveyor belt which transports coal away from the engine

The game is available for Windows, Linux, Android and iOS.

As we live in Ukraine, we never forget that we can keep creating games only thanks to the protection of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the help from our friends worldwide.
