So … what is Virtual Smart Agent and how is it going to benefit you?

This technology is so new … it is almost like science fiction, and almost as much fun as well

VSA is the world’s FIRST stand-alone Virtual Sales Agent, software so smart that it enables you to put an automated chat solution on your website WITHOUT having to pay someone else for their services.

But it doesn’t stop there. The guy who created this nonsensically fun tool also made it BETTER than anything else out there by making it possible to train your virtual agent, split-test the results, and even build your opt-in list on autopilot (by linking it to Aweber)!

This technological jabberwock has already been PROVEN to boost sales by up to 40%, and I have little doubt that the marketers who manage to get their hands on it are going to be at a huge competitive advantage.

Not only does it boost sales, but it can also build your list on autopilot, and increase your affiliate commissions to boot.

It’s effectively like having your own virtual “employee” who never sleeps, which is exactly the kind of employee that you want. It just keeps working for you and building your business 24/7 without a break.

It turns out that Dave Guindon, the product owner, is also an experienced online marketer as well as an advanced software developer. So he knows how to deliver quality products along with how to use the products to your advantage.

Not many product owners even attempt to over-deliver as much as Dave does!

Here is a short list of the powerful features this software provides:

Increase your website conversions up to 20-40% in a little as 2 weeks!

Dramatically reduce your shopping cart abandonment.

Instantly increase the value of each website visitor.

Improve your website visitor’s experience (builds trust and repeat business).

Increase your customer loyalty and overall satisfaction.

Quickly grow a highly responsive opt-in list of interested prospects.

Reduce labor costs.

Save time by reducing questions and support requests.

Up-sell or cross-sell similar and/or additional products to boost your revenue.

Find out WHY customers are leaving your site.

One installation works on ALL your websites… boost your entire business!

Builds your opt-in list on autopilot!

Auto follow-up emails to your web visitors after they leave your chats!

And a lot more …

And, if that were not enough, Dave Guindon offers an unbelievable LIFETIME money back guarantee so literally anytime between now and the day you shuffle off this mortal coil, you can get your cash back if you decide that VSA is no longer for you! That is totally nuts if you ask me, but there again, what do I know?

So you basically have nothing to lose is the top and bottom of it. The software works great and I am just beginning to install it on most of my sites. It may even turn up here one day.

Look - don’t waste your time reading my inane ramblings - take a look here and then make you own mind up,

Thanks for reading,

Steve

If PPC advertising could be said to have a ‘Holy Grail’, it would surely be increasing your income whilst seeing your ad spending stay the same or even fall. Improving your ROI, or ‘return on investment’ is what it is all about in other words.

Here’s a great little PPC trick that I started testing a few weeks back that has definitely improved both click through rates and sales as well.

It’s excellent with AdWords and works with some of the smaller, lesser known PPC advertising sites as well, so give it a shot. And whilst I cannot say that this will work in every business and for every product, it is certainly effective for affiliate products and other related internet marketing sales campaigns.

I’m assuming that you know that you should have a keyword list that you are using when you create your PPC ads.

If not, you do!

Okay, so lets say that your keyword phrase is ‘oligopoly killed the cat’

I frankly have no idea at all what kind of product you could ever hope to promote using a phrase like that, but it just came to me and its nonsensical nature appeals, so I’m sticking with it!

In this case, common PPC wisdom would have you place this phrase as close to the beginning of your PPC ad Title header as possible. With AdWords, you have 25 characters available, so that phrase just about does it.

Next, most experts suggest that you should also include it in the body text of your ad as well. This is where I beg to differ.

I find that doing this ‘clutters’ the ad body, so I started using the key phrase that I am trying to get ranked for as the display url!

And, bingo, it worked and carries on working!

So, in this case, my display url would be OligopolyKilledTheCat.com or Oiligopoly-Killed-The-Cat.com. I have, incidentally, tried both url forms and there does not seem to be much difference in results, so I would tend to use the latter, simply because it is easier for humans to read.

There you go. Use the key phrase as your display url – it could not get much simpler than that, really, could it?

Anyway, all I can suggest is that you try it and let me know how you get on with a comment or ten.

Did you notice the number of new “Giveaway” events over the festive season?

Did you join any? If so, what did you think of the general quality?

I must say that in most cases, I was not particularly impressed.

A lot of the products being given away had certainly done the rounds and I thought that a lot of the events, especially the newer ones, were more ‘glitter and tinsel’ than quality substance.

One that I HAVE found worth looking at, however, is the excellent “New Years Giveaway” that is running from now until the end of January, and I would seriously recommend that you should take a look sooner rather than later.

There’s three hundred or so free gifts on offer and unlike most of the ‘festive season specials’ that I looked at, many of them are actually worth downloading. There are e-books, software programs, video and web authoring tools for everyone from the newest newbie to the most experienced, and (the thing that I most like),a lot of them are new to me too!

Now, you know and I know that the idea of these events is to allow the contributor to add your name to their mailing list, so I would recommend that you create a new gmail or yahoo email account for your sign-ups and that you only download that you can actually use. Downloading something that you ‘might’ use in the future is just cluttering up your disk space, trust me, because you will never use it!

But, anyway, you should definitely take a look at the New Years Giveaway now, if you have not already done so.

We all know that this is a common mistake that sales people and Internet Marketers make, but it bears repeating as a reminder.

Fine, it is relatively common to add human interest by telling a story about yourself or your product in your copy and that’s great, but be careful that you do not use ‘I’ too often and forget to use ‘you’.

The bottom line is that your readers do not care about you – naturally enough they care about themselves. This is not to say that they are necessarily being selfish but we are all conditioned to think about ourselves before we think of others. So, you must be focusing on what your product or service can do for your reader, and making sure that you tell them in the clearest and simplest way possible.

You should not say:
‘I have discovered a secret formula…’

When using this would work so much better:
‘You will discover this secret formula…’

The second one is much more powerful because you are telling them what they can get from it, and making sure that it is addressed directly to your reader or listener

Some copy writers even go as far as to analyze their own writings to make certain that the word ‘you’ is the one that is used most in their writing.

A tip is to write your copy as you would normally do and then go through it trying to replace as many ‘I’s’ with ‘you’s’ as you can in as natural manner as possible. This will help your conversions immensely.

Here is an idea for you that will not make any money for you in time for this Christmas, but will put you a long way ahead of the game for next year. It is also something that you could use for all of the major holidays as well, although I cannot claim that I have tested it on every one, so you would need to do that for yourself.

Just about now, everyone is searching for Christmas related stuff, right?

So, now is the time to fire up your favorite keyword search software and run searches based around keywords like ‘christmas’, ‘xmas’, ‘yuletide’, ‘bethlehem’, ‘nativity’ and so on.

Think about it. These words are only ever going to get searched in any great numbers at this time of year, so now is the time that you should be building your keyword list for next year.

Eleven months from now, you already have a terrific list already built, and can start using them to create your Christmas related articles, for example, well before anyone else has any access to such a keyword list, as people have not started their seasonal searching yet and so the keywords are not ’showing’ in the most recent searches yet.

Try if for Thanksgiving, 4th July and Guy Fawkes Night (in the UK) as well.

It might work or it might not, but it has got to be worth ten minutes of your time to find out.

What do you think? Leave a comment to let me know.

Just the other day I was listening to a Podcast of an interview with a couple of guys who are running a leading PLR website and it struck me that the PLR product has now (finally) come of age.

That is, whereas even six months ago, if you bought a PLR product that was what you got - the product alone. Now, you are far more likely to buy a ‘package’ in which you get everything that you need to start selling straight away, like ready made sales pages, graphics, squeeze pages and so on.

But, I guess that it is only sense that you would expect such quality to come at a price, so seeing these sites selling monthly memberships for $50-100 is not uncommon. It is good value, no doubt, but it is not cheap by any means.

So, here’s a deal that you should definitely be taking a look at.
Take a look at IM PLR Club or read on, and then look!

Now, I am going to begin the spiel with that dreadful ‘my good friend’ thing, but, in this case, it is actually true!

Anyway, one of the straightest guys I know in internet marketing, Ben Shaffer, has just launched his own PLR private members site, limited to only 250 people and (this is the kicker) the trial is only $1.00 and, if you decide to stick with it, then it’s a measly $20.00 a month (or only $12.00 per month if you pay a year in advance!).

That is for a fully packaged, ready to sell product, the first one being all about Facebook, graphics, sales pages and squeeze page included. And it is good – like quality writing, obviously by someone who has more than a passing acquaintance with the English language and great graphics.

How do I know? Well, Ben told me!

No, seriously, I have read the book cover to cover, and it is well worth reading, because Facebook is not something I had even thought about marketing on or through before (which pretty much guarantees that no-one else has either) and it is very definitely not the same as MySpace.

But, if I told you that there is a worked example of how it is possible to earn $800k in one week with Facebook, then you’d be interested, right? Interested enough to spend $1.00 to find out more?

Now, there is no affiliate program (unless it’s a secret one) so I have nothing to gain here, but Ben is a friend and this is a top quality product at a ridiculous price, so get over there now and take a look at the excellent and very cheap IM PLR Club.

And, if you like it, you can say thanks by leaving a comment here

For many webmasters, Google AdSense has become a great revenue generator. Since the program pays the webmaster every time a visitor of their website clicks on the ads that Google displays in their web pages, the same has become a truly viable and profitable option to earn a living online. As a matter of fact, there are countless webmasters who have dropped their day jobs so that they could focus on the AdSense program. They build dozens and dozens of websites, all of which carry their AdSense code, hoping to generate amazing earnings from such an approach. After all, if one website can generate $25 per month (a low average at that), how much could 100 websites be able to produce for the webmaster?

But success with the Google AdSense program is contingent on three things:

1. Cost Per Click (CPC) attached to the ads that will be displayed;
2. Page impressions, or the number of people who will get to visit the website; and
3. Click Through Rate (CTR), or the ratio of people who will click on the ads vis a vis page impressions.

The CPC can be approximated by checking out the going rate of the keyword to be targeted before building a website. The resource that can be found at www.adsensearena.com is an excellent tool to help anyone in determining the possible CPC for certain search words or phrases.

The CTR can be improved by arranging the AdSense blocks in a manner that would make them look like organic parts of the website.

But page impressions would be a little more difficult to achieve.

Page impressions are actually equivalent to what is generally known as web traffic. Web traffic, of course, refers to the volume of users who manages to load up a particular page of your website. It has been said that traffic is the lifeblood of any online venture, and this couldn’t be truer for websites that earn via Pay Per Click (PPC) programs.

In a nutshell, the success of your Google AdSense campaign would depend on the volume of traffic you’ll be able to generate for your website, or websites.

You could try a lot of marketing tactics, but often, these strategies take time to gestate. Additionally, each and every competitor of yours would be trying out the same techniques, and there is no real guarantee about how much traffic you could derive from them.

This has led many webmasters to try out PPC advertising for their PPC earning campaigns. The way it goes is that they will advertise their websites through Google AdWords. Google will then display their links the way it displays AdSense ads. The webmasters who decide to take this route would then have to pay Google every time a user clicks on the ads that lead to their websites.

How do these webmasters earn, when they’re supposed to spend for every click?

Well, most of them build websites that are exclusively made up of AdSense ads. Hence, whenever a user is led to their pages, he’d have no choice but to click on the relevant ads that appear therein.

There are some webmasters, on the other hand, who rely on the strength of their content. They use AdWords to expose their websites to people, hoping that those very users would love what they’ll see and they’ll keep coming back every now and then.

There are pros and cons to this strategy, however. Let’s take a look at the advantages first.

* You will attain guaranteed traffic.
* You will attain highly targeted traffic. Since your visitors will be composed of people who are interested with the subject of you website, there is a higher likelihood that they will click on the ads that would appear on your pages.
* You will only have to pay for the traffic that your website would receive. Nothing more, nothing less.

But it’s not rosy for this approach. Here are the disadvantages.

* You’d have to spend.
* There is no guarantee that you’ll be able to recoup your financial investments.
* Google is cracking down on websites that are merely composed of AdSense ad blocks. If you opt to use this approach, and your website is composed exclusively of AdSense ads, chances are, your website would get de-indexed and your AdSense account would get suspended if Google catches you.

The best way to go is to rely on the strength of your website. Prepare unique, premium content and hook your visitors with the same. Content is king in the World Wide Web, after all.

If you decide to use AdWords to get some traffic, make sure you have a mailing list in place to capture their contact details and ensure for yourself some repeat visitors. PPD advertising should only be used to gain initial traffic, until your other marketing strategies would finally produce the desired results.
